Love it! 5/5
By Finally! Clean and Dope!
It is amazing to see how my treadmill connects with my phone and how the exercise done on either is reflected on both.
I thought I knew enough on my own to not need a trainer but I now recognize how incredibly helpful it is to have an expert guide every step.
Please know that I am a bit biased given that I work for the company and have seen the iFit Coach experience grow to where it is today.
That being said I am genuinely impressed and look forward to seeing how healthy I can become with the help of all the talented trainers.
App doesn’t compare to website 2/5
The iFit website has tons of more functionality and you can find workouts and runs much easier. Why does the app not list all of the runs on it? And the website is not mobile friendly... there’s no winning.
This app does not work for voice over users. I can’t even put my information in whatsoever I am very disappointed with this app
Fix it 2/5
By Nita Hope
It was working well for 2 months then it kept crashing
Good, but... 2/5
The app keeps crashing.
Nutrition search is terrible 2/5
If you’re not able to scan the barcode, it’s almost impossible to find the food item you want to log. I used the previous iFit app for 2 years and this feature worked really well. The way it works in the current app is frustrating enough that I doubt I’ll renew my subscription.
Don’t do it! 1/5
I downloaded the app and joined iFit, only to have the app consistently crash and not log my runs. I have canceled my membership and requested a refund 3 times and haven’t gotten any response and the keep changing me! It’s a trap!
App has bugs 1/5
It used to work fine then after the last update it won’t allow me to open the app. Hopefully they fix this
Lacks HealthKit or Apple Watch Support 2/5
This is an okay app: the sleep, exercise, and iFit Coach are all okay but this apps falls short big time for Apple users who are in the Apple ecosystem- things like Apple Watch, and HealthKit syncing.
I’m very disappointed to own a brand new $600 piece of exercise equipment and to lack such basic in app functionality as integration with the platform you publish your app on. This is an iPhone app, so I would like to see HealthKit syncing natively built in and support for other fitness trackers—like Apple Watch.
The app is also sort of clunky and feels outdated—it could use a modern UI. It also crashes from time to time.
By ...fun game
Seems like it would be a great app but it doesn’t work with the iFITNESS activity tracker watch and it doesn’t sync with the iFITNESS app to share data.
IFit can’t play nice with Apple 2/5
By e flick
The only reason I still pay the $15 a month is because I have a treadmill that has some nice workouts from iFit. But they try to force you into paying for a whole year in one shot. If you try to use Apple subscriptions from the app it won’t work and you have to dance around with costumer service for half an hour and give them your credit card info to renew. If you don’t call customer service the only option on the website is to pay for a full year upfront. They said that the problem is on Apple’s side but I have a few other subscriptions and they all work fine.
The other problem I have with iFit is the data the collect from either a wearable or fitness equipment can’t be synced to HealthKit. I like all my stuff in one place. I use MyFitnessPal to input my weight and diet and another app to measure my heart rate. I would just like the info from the iFit wearable and treadmill to sync with everything else. Is that too much to ask? When I sent an email to iFit asking about syncing with HealthKit they said that Apple and iFit are separate companies and that’s why the data can’t be synced.
Finally something easy to use! 4/5
I received my Fitbit from my daughter for my birthday, which was last month. I know, I waited quite a while to get things started but I tend to get overwhelmed with anything that has to do with technology of any kind. Well, I finally decided today it wasn’t going to do it by itself. I was extremely excited and so happy that I could figure it out on my own. So, so far so good. I am so excited because I start a new job tonight and am excited what the data is going to tell me. Thank you so much for making it easy for someone is lucky if she can check her email, lol. Thanks again!!!
Okay app, but interface needs updating 3/5
#1 positive note: The app itself hasn’t crashed on me yet—been using it for about a week. So that’s a big plus.
The app’s stats seem pretty accurate except for the sleep stats, which I know to be a bit off: I use the SleepCycle app, and would be willing to trade that for the consistency and convenience of keeping my workout and sleep stats all in one place (iFit). However, every morning when I open this app, it says I’ve slept 5hrs 43mins, when I know I went to sleep at 9:40pm and woke up at 5:50am—more like 8 hours. This glitch has happened the entire week (down to be minute) so I’m pretty sure it’s a bug in the app.
I have an iPhone 10, and I know what I’m about to say is probably a (very) small feature on the developer’s list of priorities (and i get that), but the app’s display doesn’t fit the new screen/interface of the iPhone 10. This is more of an “annoyance” factor, but it definitely contributes to the overall experience of the application for those iPhone 10 users like myself who download a new app, click it open, and immediately feel as if it’s outdated solely because of the outdated display.
Otherwise, it’s a good app and I’m looking forward to seeing it mature.
Not a good experience 2/5
I signed up to iFit Coach through the app in Feb 2018, because the features plus advertised free iFit Vue for subscribing. I got the email about how to claim the Vue and filled out the information. Never received Vue. When my subscription renewed, the money was taken and my account was reverted back to free.
I contact customer service and they have no record of me paying (shows clearly in iTunes history) and tell me I had to do a year subscription to get the Vue. Okay not only is that not an option when you subscribe through iTunes, they don’t mention that on the advertisement. I checked multiple times..fine print..the only condition I could find was that you have to live in the US.
Great App, but Syncing Issues. 3/5
I have a Nordictrack X9i trainer, and an iFit Vue, and an iFit Coach Subscription. I do not have any issues with the app crashing, and the app itself is pretty easy to use. However, there is one issue that I have been experiencing since I started using this app that is a bit annoying. Opening the app and allowing my iFit Vue to sync with the app will add/log additional steps & miles that I did not take. For example, If my iFit Vue has logged 8000 steps so far, and I open the app, it will change the the amount of steps that I have taken to 20,000. And if I did a total of 3.5 miles, opening the app will add an additional 6-7 miles. And I know for a fact that I did not walk/run that much! This glitch occurs only when the app is opened and allowed to sync with my iFit Vue. Please fix this glitch, It is ruining my stats having so many achievements (achievements that I did not do) logged.
Your application on the iPhone fails when it crashes if you sign up or sign in, so I can not take advantage of it. Please find a solution to this problem.
It Needs Health Integration 1/5
Recently, the wearable was causing the app to crash. Unpaired then paired, and now the application works, but my wearable stopped working. I will never buy a wearable from iFit again until the quality and software stability is improved. For now, I am using the app because I am paying for the service which includes good workouts and my treadmill stats, other than that, it needs Apple’s Health integration. Some people would rather use the Apple Watch or any other wearable over the VUE.
Love it! 5/5
Easy to use. Hits every muscle group in a short intense workout.
Doesn’t sync to my Freestride 1/5
Today I completed my first total workout and it won’t sync to my app. Pretty disappointed.
The Vue is Cheap and Wouldn’t Sync 1/5
The Vue watch came free with my Pro-Form treadmill. Charged battery and tried several times to sync to iPhone and it would not. In past had Fitbit and Apple Watch and never had a sync issue. Really cheaply made. Decided to not use it and I wanted to cancel my account and could not figure how to cancel after going through Help, etc. Fortunately, I never set up a membership plan. If can’t even get to sync why would I ever upgrade, etc. No confidence in iFit.
It was promised that by upgrading to premium service I would receive a free fitness tracker band. That never came. It took my money for the app and left me with nothing. I can’t even use the app without a fitness band. Complete waste of money.
Doesn’t work and no customer support 1/5
This is a terrible app. I only signed up for it because it was supposedly built in to my ProForm Fitness treadmill. It never worked and customer service never got back to me. Stay away!!
The worst app ever created 1/5
This iFit app is not even up to the junk level. Useless, no customer support or interface, can not ever have worked anywhere. Shocked Nordictrack would align themselves with such a piece of junk.
Sport I can’t say how I really feel without invoking censorship.
I case some unfortunate customer is looking forward to using this app on a smart phone, sorry to report it only works on tablets.
I can only surmise the customer service team of this sad provider isn’t aware that a “smart” device is not solely defined as a tablet.
Too bad the rating system doesn’t have an idiot supplier rating.
Crashes every 3 seconds 1/5
I just downloaded it and I can’t even use it because it keeps crashing
Really crappy tbh 1/5
First of all, the app is messy to me and hard to navigate (coming from someone who can usually navigate almost anything). Secondly, you need to change the way you input meals because it’s really confusing. Thirdly, none of my stats sync up with the app. I had over 5,000 steps yesterday and the app doesn’t show any of it. What the heck? What’s the point of having an iFit if the app doesn’t work? Honestly. Y’all need to fix this.
Not as good as I thought 1/5
By Penny & Stank
Not enough options! Doesn’t log all the subscribed to workouts! Doesn’t have enough options in workout! Doesn’t always sync!
Big fat 0 1/5
This is the worst company ever!! Tried for a week to call support to have them not charge me the full year, no one ever answers the help line. Tried to figure out this very complex module and app never could figure it out. Looked at the same car for 3 miles. Finally someone emailed me back on day 5, said I was getting a full refund. Today is day 20 NOTHING 200.00 down the drain for a crappy program. Do NOT use this, you are better off staring at the wall during an exercise. Worse customer service ever. Don’t give a phone number if you just pretend to work phones. Hold over 30 minutes 3 or 4 times.
I’ve had the app and Axis for 3 months now. Every 2-3 days the Axis quits communicating with the app. Can’t just un-pair and re-pair. Have to go through all the troubleshooting steps. Usually end up having to reset the Axis which then loses the data. Giving up and buying a Fitbit.
Won’t connect to bike 1/5
Going to cancel my membership ..astronomical yearly fee and app won’t even link to my bike. (Pro-Form)
Food barcode reader. 1/5
Hardly ever works. Tells me to check my internet connection. Does this on WiFi and on LTE.
Shuts down 1/5
It worked not great but it worked the day I downloaded it. The 2nd day i open the app and it closes instantly so doesn’t work at all.
Keeps crashing 1/5
By Tara Barbie
I’ve had the app for 3 days and it won’t stop crashing!😡 please fix!
Cant set up device 5/5
Iphone 5s crashes when attempting to set up device and app starts from intro to app everytime
App works well but they will charge even after cancellation 2/5
The app itself is well thought out and laid out easily. The problem is this company charges even after you’ve cancelled a subscription and trying to contact them is impossible. On hold for 30+ minuets, no one ever picked up.
Inprovments required 1/5
By Mikey T Ward
App needs suppprt to read and write data for the apple Heath app this way your app can
Pull data from more than 1 data sorce. Also can you make your app comparable with the Apple Watch this was your system can record data and pull data without the use of another smart watch or fitness tracker unit
IFit has gone to SH*T!! 1/5
I use to love iFit, but after buying 2 different pieces of exercise equipment that won’t connect to Bluetooth or my Apple iPhone (which is newer and up to date), I am at my wits end!! I also have an iFit Vue which never connects either. I’m just glad I didn’t waste even more money buying into this iFit Coach Program.
Good but crashes 4/5
Can’t log food without using quick log, which requires me to know how many calories are in something. Scanner doesn’t work and searching for something won’t allow me to select the item once I’ve found it. If I try too many times, it crashes.
App doesn’t even work 1/5
Just downloaded to try it and won’t even let me join. When I go to connect to fb to join it crashes
Love my iFit coaches 5/5
I do all my workouts on the treadmill with the IFit coaches. In the beginning I had time out issues, so I upgraded my internet and no problems at all now. I am addicted to the new places to see everyday, yeah it’s soo hard but I love the places we go and what I lean about them it helps the time fly! Can’t wait till tomorrow wonder where I’ll be working out at with my iFit coach on my tredmill!
Horrible App 1/5
Crashes and will not sync with my Axis on my iPhone7 plus. I’m using 11.1 update on iOS please fix.
Crashes about 60ish percent of the time! 2/5
Got a new piece of nordictrack equipment and bought a 1 year subscription to ifit - not an inexpensive endeavor! I use it only for map workouts on my machine. In the 15 or so workouts I've done, it has quit/frozen mid workout 5 times to the point where I have to lose my place in the workout and start at the beginning again. Today, it froze to the point that I had to unplug the fitness equipment to get it to restart. While the map workouts are far from a smooth ride, they do the trick for me. But what I can't tolerate is having to stop in the middle to mess around with trying to get it to work again. I am returning the equipment, which I have found to be just fine also and am disappointed and frustrated w ifit.
Bad Customer Support 1/5
By AZ Andrew
App wasn’t working correctly and customer support is not responsive.
App crashes after IOS update. And my wearables does not work. The app is telling me that the Bluetooth is off to turn it on, when in fact the Bluetooth is on and connected to the Axis HR. The app is useless. This is happening on this app and on IFit sleep.
Good app 5/5
Everything so far is great with the app. The only two things I would want to change/add is to have either a meal plan or ability to connect an app to help keep track of calories and the ability to connect the health app on your iPhone to this app to help keep tracks of steps and other things. These are mainly for people who don't have wearable devices but I think it's really awesome you guys provide one with upgrading your membership! I can't wait for mine to come in!
Awesome! Great motivation!!!! 5/5
Love everything iFit does! This app has so many workout programs you can do it's customized workouts are awesome!
I may not be skinny like I use to be or as flexible but the workouts will surely put be back in shape in no time. Hopefully in 30 days I will see my hard work paying off.
Crashing immediately after opening app
Won't connect iOS phone 1/5
Downloaded the ifit app, filled out all pertinent information, followed instructions, including adding a 5 digit token to connect the phone to the machine... the machine only provides a 4 digit token. The manual mentions nothing about the token issue. So I'm essentially shut out of this feature. The app is thus pointless to download. I guess I'll just plug my phone into the machine via aux cable and track my workout data into a notebook. Very disappointing app.
Will not connect to the app via Bluetooth 1/5
Every time I try (I follow the instructions carefully) the app fails to find the device. So frustrating! Do not buy!!!
