Used to use this app a lot. Then, the last time I opened it the app by default opened to the screen where it prompts you for your finger print to purchase the paid version of the app. Felt it was very misleading and tricking me to buy the app.
Immediately deleted the app.

This is one app I use on a daily basis, thru iPhone, iPad, or Alexa. I listen to podcasts of my favorite radio programs if I can’t hear them live. One thing that frustrates me though, is I can’t get enough podcasts of shows that you can find on the ID channel. I like listening to the criminal investigation, and conservative talk radio, and this is the place to find it all

I just got this app it is better than pandora I LOVE THIS APP
This app has been stealing my money for 6 months now. It required me to get a new debit card yet is somehow still charging me. I downloaded this app once and it was deleted a week after I got it.
Too many bugs... 1/5
I’ve been with the service about 2+ years. Most of the time it goes along fine for a few months at a time but then come the bugs. I find myself fiddling with it to get it to work... this latest round of bugs has me scratching my head. It crashes (I followed the recommendations to hard reboot my iPhone and reload app but it’s still crashing and double repeating songs. AS IM WRITING THIS IT JUST CRASHED AGAIN!
Lately when trying to download into my favorites list I’m finding way more “greyed out” songs.
As of today it will be 3 weeks since I put in my first evaluation and heard only crickets...
I went ahead with Pandora. They have more licensed music not available her and I’m fed up with all the bugs and quirks.
By The Way my phone battery lasts twice as long since using Pandora. Wonder what that’s about? Anyway goodbye iHeartRadio.

Im listening to my playlist right now & i love the way the upcoming songs mix right before the current song ends. Its like i have my own DJ mixing songs for me! Great update!

I subscribe to iHeartRadio a while ago. I am particularly interested in a few select artists such as Robert Cray, Robin Ford, the Allman Brothers band, Greg Allman etc. However each one of these artists on auto play, seem to only have about 30 songs that are regurgitated every couple of hours. I don’t like that aspect of iHeartRadio, but it is a convenience for me being a music junkie.

I’ve had this app for a bit and it’s good only if your trying to discover new music, but if you already have an idea on what you want to listen to don’t use this app, if you click on an artist that you like to listen to they instead play music similar to what you want but the app hardly if ever plays the music you want, and to play the music you want you need to like the song, when ever they play that song 3 days latter and wait for your liked music to pile up and then it’s shuffled, if you want to listen to your music on demand you have to pay, in conclusion it’s not great for music you already want to listen to unless you want to pay.

In the past, my alarm clock was 105.1 The breakfast club and I listened every single weekday. Now that there’s a cost, I catch it when I remember so I’m using my app 80% less.
When I do remember, there’s a lag so I end up purchases the trial EVERYTIME I open it because of the initial ad.
Spending every month on the phone with Apple trying to get a refund is tiring.
Update: I just listened to 6 minutes of advertising before the radio station began.

My app will stop playing if my phone goes to sleep or if I hit the home screen to go to another app(whether the other app has audio or not) not a very friendly user experience. Disappointing, as I am a big supporter or was at least of iheart.
App automatically subscribed itself to my Apple Pay to make me pay 5.99 that I never confirmed. Now I can’t update my apps until I pay something I never wanted

I am having issue with offline use. Who else has all access and is having to skip the song and then skip backwards in order to get sound. I’ve been emailing iHeartRadio and haven’t been getting responses. I would like this to be fixed soon please. Also, for all acres users. If you don’t wanna have to deal with skipping and hitting the buttons and all that. Turn offline off for your playlist.

Too easy to accidentally subscribe 1/5
Opened the app, ad over the screen popped up and I clicked it trying to close it. I cancelled the subscription and emailed support - wanting a refund for the month’s subscription I don’t want. They said to contact iTunes. I’m annoyed by their design, not going to use the app if it’s so easy to accidentally subscribe and so hard to cancel.

The app is just okay. I use it every morning to listen to the local radio. However, every morning when I'm listening the audio randomly cuts out multiple times. When I open the app nothing is loading, the stop button is meaning is technically still playing. The audio cut out like 4 times just while I was writing this review. So I'm going to change my rating from 3 stars to 2.

Used to play music and such seamlessly, ever since I did the trial to play songs on demand, and ever since then, I’ve been stuck loading songs the entirety of my drive, so I’m listening to the car waiting for any song to play for 30 minutes at a time. Regret that trial.

Why can’t I cancel the free trial, which I accidentally hit to purchase. I already have Apple Music which I love, and only got iHeartRadio to listen to the radio show I enjoy when not around a radio/ stereo. If I get charge I will not pay. I love this app, like to hear all my favorite radio stations in one place but come on guys, when I open the app it takes for ever to load it up, very slow and when I’m using it with CarPlay I have to unlock the phone to let the app load and that’s very disappointing, hope it gets fixed in the future.
Takes forever to load and sometimes doesn’t load at all. I have a short commute to work and I’m already there by the time it starts working. Please fix it 😞

I was charged $5.99 for a subscription that I was “tricked” into signing up for. I canceled the subscription within minutes of discovering that I had signed up for it, but ended up being charged anyway. I went to the online help on the iHeartRadio app to verify that my subscription was canceled and there is no unsubscribe button to hit. I then emailed iHeartRadio and received this response. “iHeartRadio Customer Support does not internally handle subscriptions processed through Apple. However, if you need to cancel your subscription, you can do so by following the procedure below:”
I folloedthe procedure “below” only to get to a dead end. I sure hope I don’t get charged again, I guess I will have to open up a dispute through my credit card company at this point. In the future I will be very very careful what buttons that I tap. It’s a shame that the app gets updated and changes around so much that it is unfamiliar if you don’t use it every single day. Through the many updates I have also lost my favorite stations and my saved stations, and it gets really frustrating.

I don’t know what’s going on but I get to seem stupid commercials 8 to 10 12 15 Times in an hour. I go to another station and it starts out with the same commercial. I don’t care about a singles club I’ve been married for 54 years. I don’t care about beach blanket bingo 10 times in an hour. AARP go to hell. I don’t care about your stupid tooth brush. It’s time to get A different app.

I love I-Heart radio, but sometimes there are songs I've looked for which they don't have, and I would like there to be a back button to replay the last song, or to just keep going in reverse. Some of the songs that are put together in a radio format seem rather predictable and boring. And what about, say, an Any Winehouse station that featured HER music, but also music she listened to, or music that influenced her as an artist?
