TAKES MY MONEY 1/5

I used it for 1 day and it took 20$ from me
Sneaky upgrades 1/5
By Dirk Tungsten
I only want the free service but iHeart sneaks in free trials. Then they auto renew and get you for a monthly subscription. The offer will pop up and if your finger is on the home button it will authorize very quickly.
Still Exploring but Love 5/5
Love that I can take the best station KUTX with me wherever I go and can listen 24/7. I can search and and play on my iPhone and still listen. The hubby is addicted to talk radio and he listens to numerous stations. Anxious to explore different options.
Keeps charging my account 1/5
By Renee Hope
In the last year iHeartRadio has charged my account 3 times for subscription I did not okay. Then they make it almost impossible to cancel. So frustrating, I do enjoy the app but will be deleting it so I won’t have to deal with future changes
All access pass that never signed up for? 1/5
I have been a user of iHeartRadio for years and it just now started charging me monthly for an all access pass that I never selected and it’s difficult to get it to stop charging me. Please correct this situation iHeartRadio.
By Hogwarts 2.0
Slow and unresponsiveness links. Screw iheart for taking my favorite talk show off of podcasts where it worked perfectly and dragging it down into the gutter onto this bs craphole app.
I hate this app now. 1/5
I have had this app for a very long time. I created hundreds of my own personal radio stations and loved it, but now they have changed the app so that more than half of the stations I created are gone, and also when I go to play one of my stations now nothing happens. So I just deleted the app. Now I don’t know what I am going to listen to while I clean my house now.
Weekdays mornings I listen and enjoy local happenings, traffic problems, weather forecast, and funny stuff. When they leave I listen to Glen Beck for news and common sense, and then RUSH! Please don’t change this lineup.
I used to love this app until it turned into a commercial/advertising machine. I understand free apps need to have ads to make revenue. But 15 minutes of non stop commercials? Come on!!!! I do not recommend this app to anyone! (unless you want to hear 15 minutes of ads)
Unintuitive and unpleasant 1/5
I use this app to listen to a podcast of my favorite radio show. The function to save, store and play back episodes is sloppy and frustrating. When I download an episode, and listen to it then have to turn it off part way through, when I open the app later to continue listening, it has started over so I always have to waste time finding which part of the show I left off at. Also, when I select “Mark as Played” it automatically starts the next episode that I don’t have Marked as Played, which I can’t turn off and is annoying. That brings me to my next complaint: the app won’t let me select multiple shows to mark as played, so I have to literally go through and mark HUNDREDS of episodes as Played.
It’s really good
I love the app but 4/5
I think the amount of commercial I get is annoying so I was think what if you could skip a certain amount of them like you can skip a certain amount of song cause I would love that
By Fireman is cool
It’s not keeping my stations that I play in my play list
My daily go-to for my music 4/5
Don’t even want to one star this trash. 1/5
Okay. So I cancelled my subscription. This was during the “free” month trial. I in subscribed, deleted the app cause I didn’t want it and now it charged me for the next month for whatever reason and now it won’t let me update apps and now I have to add money onto my account just to pay off something that I don’t even want. I know nobody will read this and care. This is because I’m just one bad review, and every developer just goes “well, not my problem.” This app has done nothing but cause me a great deal of pain.
Sucky app 1/5
By Jerry Burner
This app does nothing like you claim. It doesn’t even remember last station played! I only listen to one station and I have to go to search every time.

I have a few different apps for music or talk but iHeartRadio to me is the absolute best...it’s easy to worth with and has more options for Political talk and this is one app I’d pay to download..
Soooooo Frustrating 1/5
By R. Hop
I’ve used this app for many years and it used to be very dependable. Not so much now! I’m a fan of national, syndicated shows that require this app and I’ve grown so frustrated with it not functioning properly on my iPhone X. I’ve deleted and re-installed it more times than I can even count. I open the app, attempt to select a station...nothing. Just this morning alone, I spent at least 10 minutes deleting and re-installing. I just decided to leave the app open for a while as I got dressed and eventually it just started playing. I’ve grown to hate it!
Tricked into upgrading 1/5
By Neil Dillingham
Great app - somehow I was upgraded without my knowledge to “plus” at a cost of $5.99 It’s pointless trying to contact Apple about it. After the charge went through, next time I went into iHeartRadio it asked for my iTunes password... a sneaky way of complying with the required password to fulfill the Apple requirement. I wonder how many others had this happen ?
It’s okay 3/5
If I select a thumbs down I don’t want to hear a song. If I took the time to select a thumbs down the least thing that can do is for it not to play again!!!
Deleted My saved stations again 1/5
I think this is the third time in around 6 months I open the app and go to “your library” click on a saved station (the only artist station I listen to) and as play begins realize it’s a song I’ve thumbs upped and it’s not again. All the thumbs ups gone, all the thumbs down gone. Glad I don’t have the paid subscription on one hand, and on the other, the ads that pop up and never auto disappear is a real pain as I listen while driving a truck and can’t exactly hit the “x” (conveniently located way to close to the ad itself so you hit the ad) to get rid of them so I can use the the afore mentioned thumb buttons.
UPDATE: it’s done it again and I give. Developer response is, as you can read, the typical send us an email. IHeart Media is a mega Corp, they want all their users to help fix their crap app for free and just continue to shove more ads down our throats so they make out like fat cats. The only reason I continue to have this app is because of one morning show I listen too sometimes. If it goes, so goes the app from my iPhone 6s Plus. Developers can respond when the crap is fixed and maybe I’ll check out again. Otherwise, I don’t get anything from iheart media corp, I don’t work for you, leave me and all others alone and concentrate on putting another ad somewhere!
Was great 1/5
I loved this app, and I decided to upgrade it. Not worth it, the songs that I was able to play before I can’t play them anymore, they are all grayed out. If I want to play them I am prompted to upgrade for a higher fee. I have been trying to cancel the upgrade and is not as easy as to setting it up.
Love the app 4/5
Love the app! Except my fav stations plays songs more that I have given the thumbs down to?
LOVE IT! Can’t go anywhere without it!! 5/5
This app is great and all.. I actually really love it! I can listen to all the songs I want and more! So many people say that you have to use the purchase to get what you really want and they are SO wrong! But... with the new update it now instead of saving my recent playlists it take them away. So, if I don’t want to keep having to search for them I have to save them and go to my playlists! It’s stupid and I would advise fixing it so more people can enjoy this wonderful app!
Thanks a lot😘
Part of a scam 2/5
I downloaded your app for 2 reasons. I hear ur app is great (66 yrs old disabled other reason there was something that if I downloaded ur app I would get free gold tickets 15 of them plus other freebies on Huuuge Casino. I did it but nothing sent. I still will do the trial
Thank you so much. You. Best. I. Love. I. Heart radio everyday all weekend & my cell phone
The Best Radio Station 5/5
I spend a lot of time in my car and love to listen iHeart Radio all the time. Always the best music and fun shows. Great job guys.
Uses to much data 1/5
The amount of data used is suspicious. Approximately 30 mb over 2 hours of listening.
Keeps Repeating 2/5
Every day the app glitches on the radio show I listen to and it will keep repeating the same 2 minutes over and over. When the app finally stops glitching, it skips over everything I missed while the app was glitching. I end up missing out on like 10-20 minutes of the show. Otherwise the app is great...once this is fixed I will re-rate.
How many commercials do you have to suffer through? 4/5
By Captain Flash Bazbo
I used to enjoy the app and I would listen to it in place of my car stereo, however now whenever the app starts I get a minute of commercials in addition to the standard commercial laden radio content. This is a true classic example of how to ruin a good thing. Time to delete the app and move back to free radio.
Follow up. I found the every time you change to a station forced to listen to a minute of special commercial is station by station. Solved by no longer listening to The Ticket in Dallas and using Tunedin to listen to the Fan.
To app support you need to deal with this as every time I make or receive a call, drop service, move from WiFi to cell data or any other issue that causes the app to stop playing you get punished by another min of the canned commercial. This can be five to ten times per hour. Out until then.
Thanks for your response and I think I should clarify. 96.7 The Ticket started playing the same commercial every time you open or resume listening to the app. The result is if you get a phone call, unplug your headphones or any other event that causes the app to stop playing you have to wait for the same commercial to play even though the show is live and on the air. I really have no issues with having an extra commercial play once, but during the normal course of phone use this becomes so annoying that I have stopped listening to that station.
Good news on a whim I just checked and the commercial issue is gone. Well done app goes to 4 stars.
Absolutely love what you have done with the app 5/5
Love it 🏑🏑🏀⚽️
Inappropriate for children 1/5
You’re constantly spammed with inappropriate commercials, not from the radio station you’re listening to, but from the app itself. Now I got my kids asking me, “Daddy, what does boom boom in the bedroom mean?” The Snoop Dog E.D. commercials with lingo such as, “I’m all about medical grade” is just too much.
Boycott iHeartRadio and Clear Channel. This crap needs to stop NOW!
IHEARTRADIO on the run 1/5
By Alarm Dependent
Was very excited to listen to my favorite station on my runs with iHeartRadio, but found it wouldn’t play on my Apple Watch (cellular). Normally, I would give 5 stars, however, since it won’t work the app gets 1 star. 😞
“Hip Hop and R&B” is NOT ONE genre! 1/5
I’ve been using this app for years, and to no avail.. you have yet to fix what shouldn’t even be an issue in the first place: Please separate the “Hip Hop and R&B” genre. They are NOT one. They NEVER were. I find it highly disrespectful that you would even think that this was ok to do. I shouldn’t have to waste skips trying to bypass every Hip Hop song you’ve compiled into the “My Favorites” playlist. I don’t understand how they’re separated in the newly updated playlist section, but not in general. Not everyone likes Hip Hop! And not everyone likes R&B. How can one have a pleasant experience when you’re forcing them to listen, or skip through to a genre that they don’t even like? The fact that this is even an issue speaks volumes!
No good 1/5
Kicks me out of the app when I’m using it or listening with my phone locked. Also plays the songs that I’ve rated “thumbs down”. If you want to listen to music you don’t like, then download this app.
Nice for free 5/5
I like that it offers the local stations I like listening to for free. Streaming still has a ways to go before it releases regular radio, but with the iHeart Radio app it gives you your favorite local station even if you're out of town or the country all for free. Like it, keep up the good free work iHeartRadio.
Love it! 5/5
I listen to iHeart on my iPhone, iPad Pro and Apple watch as well as on my Mac. It's easy to create my stations, lists etcetera. Keep up the good work!
By hrandma of 5
I love it. Amy is my favorite. I drive all day starting 430 am to 5 pm doing deliveries. I listen all day, Monday thru Friday. The local host lean a little left, but they always give the other side. They are fair. I listen to RUSH, Tom Sullivan and the Sheriff. And then Kitty takes me home. You have a great staff. Your news is informative and accurate. The CBS affiliate reporter sometimes is not. Your station will correct that immediately. I appreciate this station because they don’t try to sway my opinion. I appreciate all the hosts and like your line up. Of course RUSH is right leaning, Tom is middle of the road and the sheriff puts the topic as it applies to the law. I like that. I don’t care for his “deputy “ fill in host and miss the sheriff when he is gone. Love all of you. Keep up the good work!!
Good app. 3/5
my app keeps pausing all the time and honestly I’m not liking it one bit. But overall love the app!
This app has went down hill 1/5
By HD rider7398
This app has went downhill. Yes I know it’s the free version. You used to be able to save your favorite bands stations. You can’t anymore. I debating on paying for the upgrade (there are people who reviewed this app and mentioned that it’s not worth the money) or paying $10 a month to Apple Music.
Sneaky attempt to charge you!!! 1/5
Every time you start this app, it asks to “upgrade” to the paid subscription. If you accidentally tap anywhere and then try to press the home button it ends up subscribing you. Has happened to me multiple times already. Very bad behavior.
Needs work 1/5

It’s got all the stations i like, but it cuts out too much. Even with full bars, it will cut out at important moments.

Iheart radio 1/5
By Deedar 1
Iheart was once a favorite app, However it’s not playing like it use to!!?? I would select my favorite music and persons albums and it would play, Not it says always something has gone wrong!! Please IHEART RADIO FIX MY PROBLEM??!!!
This updated version doesn’t like it when the signal drops for a bit. 3/5
This app has been 4 1/2 stars through most of its versions but this version (8.11.3) on iOS 11.3.1 has an issue where it gets into a 20ish second loop that plays, resets and plays over and over again. It seems to happen when I go from WiFi to cellular or if the signal drops for a few seconds. I found this also happens when the app tries to load the video ad and then goes to the program. A hard glitch to fix when I’m driving.
Utterly annoying 1/5
Stop spamming me with "you’ve been selected...". Bull. Everyone has been selected. Iheart radio can’t go under fast enough.
Great sound, 10 minute commercial breaks 3/5
By Zac St
Being able to listen to my favorite radio station from anywhere in the US is nice. Dealing with the occasional 5-10 minute commercial break is terrible though.
Listening in your car, if your signal gets weak during a commercial, it resets the commercial break algorithm they use. I’ve had to listen to the same commercial four times in a row. On the the way to work this morning, I had a commercial break where they played over 20 commercials before the radio program came back on.
Decent app, has issues.
Don't start playing 1/5
As soon as I activate the app music starts playing before I even selecting a channel or music. Don't play until I ask it to start playing. Very annoying.
