    Most of the time the site crashes. When it does work you can’t set preferences. This site can be very aggravating. Most times I just look at what property I want then call reservations but then I can’t get points for jumping through the hoops like the dolphin they want me to be. It’s almost a racket and they should give me that portion of their game to be fair.

    I was really happy before a few updates.! Now doesn’t work at all. I can’t book anything or check my reservations, give me wrong hotel info and wrong city. I’m a sales guy and I need a reliable app to book a hotel. Don’t waist your time!

    I haaate this app. When it works, it works fine enough. But good luck finding it working without any glitches, error msgs or just plain not at all. Todays encounter, trying to quickly get a room reserved WITHOUT having to get on the phone (you know, the confines of having to do this at work) but no, ‘we can’t process your request at this time’. Well, why??? Your issue? Did I do something wrong? Poor internet connection?? So I leave my office so I can make the private call to the actual hotel. “Oh, well we don’t have that room available, that’s probably why it didn’t work.” Ok, so I’ll go back to my office and try for a room that IS available. Besides, I want to do a cash/points split and the hotel can’t do that, HAS to be online. I try again and nope. Still ‘can’t process your request at this time.’ I have to leave my office AGAIN, call the lady AGAIN but she at least remembers to tell me the good news that they can’t offer any points purchases. Well great. I’m just being accommodated at every turn here. Thank goodness they have an app. for that. 🙄🙄🙄🙄

    I like the app a lot and wish it actually worked for reservations. I’ve tried booking several times in different country locations. I reach the stage of “select” room, then I just get a white page with the rotating circular buffering symbol in the middle. Like the app is working on it, but it never goes anywhere. So I am unable to use it to book reservations. Also, all my upcoming stays display the correct date, but the location is wrong let as Mid Town Atlanta. I’ve never booked a hotel in Atlanta. So this is puzzling. 2 stars because it’s good for being able to pull up the confirmation number. Wish it was more useful than that. I’m wondering if there is a dedicated customer support for the app.

    Old app used to be great. I used to be able to see both points and cash price at the same time. It was easier to navigate and see price with taxes and fees. Please roll back to older version.

    Ever since the major upgrade to the 5.0 version of this app, it is become fairly useless. The older version was one of the best apps I had used. In this version, it’s very difficult to look at prices, points and anniversary nights. I’ve gone from using this app exclusively to calling the 800 number to book my nights. please bring back some of the booking features that made the old app so good. On the other hand, I’ve never experienced the login problems a lot of users seem to have.

    As a long time user of the IHG brand, I count on the app to give me all the information I need when I travel. Currently located abroad, I travel frequently. The photos of the hotels, the lobbies, and the pools are so important to me. Imagine my shock when that information is no longer available on the app. You might get a handful of photos now and that’s it. I need to make a reservation for next week and I keep going to Booking app to get the photos of the hotel. I shouldn’t have to do this. Without photos of the hotels, this app is basically worthless. I find myself already looking at other hotel brands out of frustration over the lack of photos.

    The place is okay. I would give it a A for location, the place is near everywhere. Cleanliness, I will give it an F.I found a roach in my apartment on the seventh floor. Generally speaking the place would get a B in cleanliness, except for the roach. I am going to report that to the office tomorrow, first thing in the morning.

    This app (and the whole IHG thing) is not all they make it out to be. First, I am a “Diamond Elite” member. According to the hype, I get all kinds of perks - NOT. About half the time, I can call the hotel direct and get a better price if I have the time so the app is handy for that. I’ve even had people at the counter tell me that they can give me a better price. Second, any time I use points to get a room, the rooms are VERY limited or non-existent. Third, other “perks” are equally as useless - “Free room upgrades”, for example. To get one, you have to wait until you’re 24 days out to try and get it. Good luck! After they make you wait, then it’s, “Oh, we’re so sorry. All those rooms are sold out.” Yeah. Thanks for nothing. If you travel a lot like I do, you can get hundreds of thousands of points for free rooms but don’t count on any perks. They are just good PR talk.

    Downloaded latest update. Congratulations. Unable to login now from they Home Screen or any screen on the app. Next time beta test your updates before you force them on everyone. Going to switch to the Hilton this trip as I can’t manage my travel with a nonfunctional app.

    The app has a design flaw in the “forgot password” option. Anyone with an email address longer than 32 characters is prevented from being able to change their password. If you wouldn’t mind fixing this, that would be great. Thank you!

    I am so appreciative of how IHG constantly improves . The latest is a welcome reward of free snack / drink or points . It really made a difference in my stay as I was craving some milk / yogurt and the hotel offered some healthy choices and local farm milk . The app is user friendly and easy to find whatever you need to make your stay great . There are tons of 5 -star reviews for many reasons .

    This app is easy to use. In fact it’s too easy to use. I stay at hotels a lot for work and I had my credit card information saved on the app. I was looking at a hotel and went to swipe out of the app and accidentally hit reserve on the hotel I’d been looking at. Without asking me for any sort of confirmation to reserve a hotel the app made a reservation with the card I had on file. When I called to see if anything could be done about the reservation I was forwarded to someone trying to sell me a timeshare. I ended up losing a deposit on a hotel that I hadn’t intended to reserve. I used to love IHG hotels, they always seem like the safe way to go, but I won’t be staying with them anymore. They have predatory practices and are only interested in the money they make not in their customer’s experience.

    I have spoke to a representative from IHG 2 different times in the past few weeks and they assured me there team is working on fixing the fact that some customers cannot login on the app. They indicated it would be resolved likely by the end of last week. Well a new release was pushed recently and still to no avail. I have not been able to login ever since I downloaded the app months ago. I continue to get an error stating to contact customer service, that there was an issue with my credentials, which is false. I can successfully login on the website right now. It’s unacceptable that a company this large is having such a persistent issue for this period of time for simply logging in. I want to book on the app because of the promotion they are running for bonus points, but I am unable to do so because of this longstanding problem. I hope mine and others who have posted the same concerns about this are actually being listened too.

    Take a page from Hilton and get your app in order. There is absolutely no way to view an official folio, only a quick and dirty version receipt which accounting will not process. So, in order to get an official folio, the customer must call each hotel directly. Really?? It’s 2022 IHG. Your app is as crappy as you rubber omelets

    The new app needs much improvement. It's much harder to find recent activity and searching hotels with a corporate discount requires too many extra clicks. Best fare doesn't take into account the corporate discount so have to continuously change my search parameters. As a Diamond Member, hate the app.

    I’m disappointed with one aspect of the recent app overhaul - you can no longer book the 5,000 bonus point package rate (or any other special package rates offered by individual properties) via the app. Please address this in the next update.

    I would love to leave a 5-star review but I have yet to be able to use the app because it won’t let me log in. Using the same credentials that allow me to log in on the website, I am get an error message on the app- “Something went wrong. Please try again, or contact support.” I’ve tried several times, deleted & re-installed app, even reset my password, allowed my phone to auto-populate, as well as typing info in manually. Seems to be an error on their end.

    I can no longer look up receipts on the app. When looking at the map, all hotels are marked with a black dot instead of the hotel logo. I don’t want to click on each black dot to see the hotel brand. If I want a whirlpool tub, I can’t search by that amenity. Let’s get this app updated to 2022 please. Seems to be going backwards.

    I’ve downloaded this to my iPhone X and my iPad Pro, but while it works great on the iPhone, it won’t allow me to log in on the iPad. Until that’s resolved, I can only give this 1 star, since it’s just not usable at this time.

    What a mess! Since the update I can no longer log into my account. It shows my upcoming reservations but when I try to review them it gives me an error. Even tried the “contact” link to try and let them know it’s broken and that doesn’t even work. Dear oh dear. New layout looks nice though 😀

    Just updated to 5.4. App finally opens up. But now can’t sign in to my account. Just keeps spinning. Hilton and Marriott apps don’t have this issue. I’m even willing to stay at Accor hotels now because of this ridiculous app. Need another fix ASAP!!!

    Can’t even use this. I open the app and it won’t let me do anything except click update now. So I try to update it and the App Store says there’s no update available. This app doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Use Hilton Honors. 10X better app and you can actually use your points with them.

    I am a Platinum Member and I am Very Frustrated with the fact this Mobile App does not work. If you are going to change or upgrade something…like your “window” to customers, you better make darn well sure it works before putting it into Production…This is ridiculous !!!
