Really good 5/5
Honestly most are crappy but this was great
Never crashed 5/5
I have used this app to tune my violin for YEARS and it never crashes. It tells me when it’s even the tiniest bit out of tune. I will be using this app for a while
worst tuning app ever 1/5
I hated this. I play quite a few instruments, and this never worked. It is glitchy and doesn’t even show the screen all the way!
Still buggy on iPad 3/5
By Maria RV
I’ve had this app for a while on both my phone and iPad and it worked amazingly. It’s simple but gets the job done well. It worked fine for a while on both devices, but now there’s a black screen on the iPad version. The iPhone app works fine, though. I know a couple other people mentioned this in their reviews, otherwise the app is great.

Stops working after 10 minutes, useless and a rip off
A must for vocals and ukelele 5/5
By Suzuho Tanimura
Invaluable tool! Has helped me greatly in tuning my new ukelele. (I just started playing.) I’m looking forward to using this app to helping me get back into singing seriously for the first time in 11 years. I tried starting on a middle C and turns out I was singing on a B3#! Whoops!
Bottom half of screen blank in iPad Pro 2/5
This is a good app and works good in older generation iPad and iPhones. But in new iPad Pro, the bottom section of screen is blank. Can you fix it ?
Quick and accurate 5/5
4.5 stars 5/5
Instuner is CRAP. Whenever I’m tuning my violin, it goes green saying it’s ok, but it doesn’t sound right. And it says a different note than what I am playing. And it takes forever to decide what note it is or whether it’s tuned or not.
Screen bug on iPad 1/5
Used to work fine on iPad. Now most of the screen is black, and most of the functionality is gone on iPad. I used to like it but now going to find another tuning app.
Amazing app! 5/5
By Awsome tennis kid
I play multiple instruments and this app is super helpful when I don’t have a tuner at hand. It is always accurate and fast. Love it!!
I honestly don’t know how to feel about this. 3/5
By Fish's sister
I downloaded this, just today, and i feel that it just doesn’t have enough information about the app. What instrument is it for? I’m using it for my violin, but I don’t know if it’s made for the violin. I haven’t really had a chance to use it, since SOMEONE is playing music in the background, but it doesn’t look too bad. I tried your metronome app and it was good. Thanks for reading this!
How do u do it? 2/5
I got the app and i dont know how to do it
Great for CHARANGO tunning 5/5
By Ivana C.*
Thanks to the app builder 'cause for people who only have access to the internet in a far away landlock countries like us is hard to even get a good physical tuner and this app help us a lot. Thanks and Greetings from Bolivia🇧🇴🤩
iPad version doesn’t work 3/5
By New User 6955
What happened to the iPad version, which is now completely black on the bottom screen?? This had been a great tuner. iPhone version is fine. Please fix iPad version because I would like to recommend this great tuner to more people!
Get this! 5/5
If you are having trouble tuning or want to tune the old fashioned way by matching pitch then this is for you
This is the one to get 5/5
By dre 907
Disclaimer I’ve only used it once but it was the best out of the three I just downloaded
Works great for my banjo!
It’s good and easy to use I like it!!!
Good app 5/5
There’s no ads and seems to be a pretty good app. It didn’t help me figure out what notes were what on my otamotone but that’s not really its purpose
I agree with her 4/5
The tuner is still use-able but there is just black at the bottom of the screen on iPad please fix this
Good App 5/5
By A Lazy Bum
I’ve been playing the violin from fifth to ninth grade and I’ve been using this app for tuning while I’m at home ever since. Works very well.
Doesn’t work on my iPad 1/5
I down loaded this and it does not respond at all. No menu. No instructions. Just sits there in a strange screen with a flat and a sharp showing at the top of the screen.
0 iPad support 1/5
I downloaded this app and it showed me a black screen. It won’t go to the chromatic tuner, though.
Trying to tune my kalimba. The thing on the bottom you show isn’t there. Like another review said, I think it’s cuz I’m on iPad.
Does this work for kalimba?
It doesn’t seem to be.
I need answers.
Does not work for IPAD 1/5
Black bar across the bottom, does not work for IPAD
Great for my 12 string 5/5
Downloaded with no problems on my iPhone this is a blessing for fine tuning my Rickenbacker 370/12 and great for adjusting the intonation also love this app
It’s actually pretty good. 5/5
I’m a beginner at the kalimba and I wanted to tune my kalimba since it sounded off. Thanks to this app I was able to efficiently tune my kalimba.(but I accidentally cut myself while trying to tune the kalimba- ouchies) Now I can play pieces without any weird keys messing me up.
It great on your phone but...There’s a little buggy on the iPad. 3/5
By Clove H.
Due to the COVID-19 I’m at home. We were learning to tune our violin before school closed. I needed a tuning app so I asked my teacher online about it and she recommended this app. I decided to give it a go and download it. I downloaded it own my phone and it worked great. So I also downloaded it on my iPad Pro but there was a buggy. The bottom of the screen was black so you couldn’t see the chromatic tuner thingy. For people who I assume are still reading I suggest you to download this on your phone. I’m not sure if it works on other types of iPads but it doesn’t work on the iPad Pro. Until they fix this buggy download this on your phone or you can find some more apps. This is still a amazing app on your phone though. Stay safe during the COVID-19.😷🙃😷(I hope you guys get this buggy fixed soon!)
Didn’t work for my autoharp. 1/5

Didn’t work for my autoharp.
Doesn’t work 1/5
By mikey mike michael
Does not tune your guitar. It says notes are in tune when they are in fact sharp or flat. Trust me this thing is the worst.
Best app ever 5/5
I got my instrument from broken to in tune
ins tuner 2/5
By dp unicorn
i don’t reviews a lot but i must for this one ☝🏻 app.because you can only use it for a instrument you can’t use your voice and if you’re new to a instrument it doesn’t tell you how to tune it so i give this app 2 stars ⭐️
Best tuning app so far! 5/5
By ImACat :P
This is the most accurate app you can get! It helped me tune my viola so easily and is super helpful. Every one of your strings will sound perfect once this app helps you along the way! Recommended!
Worst app ever 1/5
You should not get this app it is so bad my fried can tune her guitar but I can not my violin can not tune either DO NOT GET THIS APP
Not getting the right notes 1/5
InsTuner is not detecting the right notes it thinks that a c on a viola is a b and a g on a viola is a a
Thanks a lot to this app, now my Kalimba is broken.
Hate it 2/5

This is my favorite free tuner and it only works on my phone. On the iPad most of the app is a black screen.

By Jamison Barrie
Iv used this app for years and its amazing, but for the last few weeks iv had this bug where the whole chromatic meter thing is a black screen and i can only see the not im playing at the top of the screen. I might be doing something wrong but iv tried everything and it hasnt happened until recently. I really hope you guys can fix this because otherwise its an amazing app
App displays black screen 1/5
I loved using this app in the past to warmup my voice but now when I open it on iPad I get a black screen for the bottom portion. Currently on iOS 13 on a 9.7 inch iPad 6th gen. Hope this gets fixed soon
By Savannah Hamama
Worst. App. Ever! I hate to be this rude, but this app simply doesn’t work for me... I watched videos and it looked quite simple but when I try to play my violin it does not work, nothing shows up, and I can’t click on anything. I hope this problem is resolved.
Best tuner app out there 5/5
By hey there cool
say sagging backwards
Decent but no good for low instruments 3/5
By just another tuba player
I play tuba, and I’ve pulled my tuning slide all the way out and this tuner won’t register any change, seems to work fine for higher range instruments, and pitch generator is good.
