Frequency loss 5/5
Now that I am older, im losing hearing frequencies and harder to tune my violin. This app helps me a lot and I’m not embarrassed when the orchestra tunes. I tune a head of time so there are only minor adjustments by the time the oboe give the A (now, if it could only play the music for me. Lol)
good but... 4/5
this app is awesome. i would give it 5 stars if it was available on android. 😊
Excellent app! 5/5
I am new to playing the cello and needed an app to tune. This app has no adds, is easy to use and very visual - love that the upper box turns solid green when you’re spot on. Highly recommend!
problem with C6 and higher notes 2/5
i use this app to tune mykalimba and it works fine up until A5, B5, C6, D6, and E6. whenever i strum the tine, it keeps showing up as A4 on the screen. very annoying. otherwise, good app.
Easy to use😌 5/5
As a saxophone player I find it very responsive and easy. I tried it and it even works with your voice! Many students in my class love it! Overall an amazing app!
Good App 5/5
This app makes tuning my instrument easier and simpler. Love it! 👍🏻
Ins tuner 3/5
By Ryan Hampson
I have been using Ins tuner for about a year i think it is great but I definitely think they should improve it.
Works but not that great 3/5
I play a concert pitch instrument. I saw this app had chromatic tuning and got it for that reason. I also found the tone generator this app includes was quite helpful. While tuning my instrument, it was pretty accurate, but while with other sounds far different than what it should be registering as, the app picked up multiple very different sounds as an in tune fourth octave A. Frequencies such as my friends voice, my cat meowing and other sounds registered as an in tune “A”. It’s fine while playing which is important, but I thought this was strange. I’m not too worried about it, hence the rather high rating but is this a default screen of some sort or a glitch? Also, I noticed it takes a while to register the sounds that are being tuned. For example, when I play a scale, it only registers half of the notes I play because it’s just that slow. Tuning is typically done with one or two notes but it’s a lot better to know the set of notes you will use most are the closest to in tune as possible.Other than that, the app works fine.

Love it recommend
Not at all helpful 1/5
Opened, allowed permissions to microphone and it did not tune. The app was simply an image with a few links to upgrade the app or buy other apps.

As a clarinetist it would always say I was playing a not lower than I actually was, in class i would be playing the right notes as well as the other clarinetist.
Pretty good 5/5
The app is very simple and the free version basically covers all my needs. However, the notice that appears whenever I select a note on the third octave or lower appears every time I reopen the app and is very annoying.
Great app 5/5
I am a clarinetist who hasn’t played in a few years, so my ear training is quite rusty. This app has helped me so much to tune my instrument and also check if my ear is getting any better. I would recommend this app for any instrumentalist, vocalist, or any music lover. Thank you so much!

I’ve just joined a marching band in my new high school and insTuner has helped me tune me and my fellow flutes so much!! Highly recommended for any bad beginner and professional!!
Tunes violin very well 5/5
This is a great app
By JoDay Bee
Super helpful for the new musician. The visuals give you clear guidance as you vector in to a note.
I’m trying to upgrade 1/5
I’m trying to upgrade with a tweet and follow, but it says “No Twitter account. Configure one in Settings.” WHERE IS SETTINGS?!
Wow awesome app 5/5
I absolutely love this app because I always need a tuner and sometimes I forget it but now I can carry it around.
guitar sound horrible.
This one works 5/5
Wow a free tuner app that actually works🙌🏻
becomes very in tune very responsive great
Literally the best app...and it’s free 5/5
So lost lost my tuner, and so I was looking to find a free one in my phone, knowing it wouldn’t be good. But oh my was I surprised.
By Master zat
Just a really good tuning app that will really help beginners with their new instruments.
This app is Amazeballs it works like a beaut.
Low range issues 4/5
By Go Cort (and Fatty)
I realize it's free, which is why I have it 4 and not 3 stars.
I've been using it to monitor my voice accuracy. It's pretty reliable down to Eb2. At D2 it's hit and miss, and anything lower than that... Good luck! At C2 it seems to choose tones at random. At B1, more often than not, it reads G6.
If I was confident the monetary version didn't have the same issues, I'd drop the cash but...
Love it 5/5

I downloaded this app to tune my violin and it tuned it really well and I recommend this app
I haven’t tried it yet 5/5
But I think it’s a good app. My orchestra teacher used it for our concert. I hope it’s free
Musician review 1/5
As a professional musician, this app is trash. No sensitivity settings and the only way to tune with this app is to tune by ear because it doesn’t lock onto the sound properly. Don’t waste your money or time
The free 5/5
Most things you get that is free is not the best but this awesome . my teacher told me about this app and it was so good. You will love it. It saves money too! Thank you for this app and hope you give it a 5 stars
has chromatic scale, but unresponsive 2/5
Wouldn’t pick up the noise my balalaika makes, even after resets. Has the chromatic scale, so better than other apps, and easy on the eyes.

It works very well to keep my instrument in tune
By Dogg Love 🐶
Some of these people say they broke their string or instrument using this app, first of all strings are cheap and easy to replace. Second of all, you should be able to tell whether your instrument needs to be turned up or down, by the musical alphabet. One person said that it was at a D and it was telling them that their A string was in tune on a D. That is technically correct, you can tell whether to tune sharp or flat based on where you need to go. I have loved this app very much and I hope some people take my opinion into account.
It is awesome 👏 5/5
I LOVE IT 🥰!!!!!!!!!
Great but one problem 4/5
I play the Bass and sometimes and I’ve tried almost everything whenever I tune my low E string it will come out as B and if this problem was fixed I would be happy
B in 441 inaccurate 3/5
The B in 441 is not right- not sure if it was always like this and if there are more notes that are not accurate.
If you use the tone generator and match it exactly to the tuner, it will read it as flat.
Might be some bug because after using it for a few years, I think I only experienced this problem now
By Collin Thegamer
The app has a feature to “pay with a tweet” which uses the integrated accounts in the IOS settings. The only problem with this is that Facebook and twitter accounts are no longer integrated into iOS as of iOS version 11. Now, when you try to pay with a tweet, the app looks for the account in settings instead of just letting you log in with the Facebook or twitter app, but since those accounts are no longer stored in the settings, the app just returns an error message.
You Have To Be Patient 4/5
By Fox Wizard 2.0
Whenever I Use the app I notice it takes a while for it to actually read the note and edit. I think it certainly helps and does give feedback of the tune but it could use some work. Sometimes I notice that my 16 year old daughter will use it and have trouble getting her instruments tuned because it takes quite some time for it to give feedback. I hope that you can get this issue fixed. It really is helpful. I’ll give it 4 stars though.
Very good 5/5

it is good

It works well and i love it.
The app is okay 3/5
Well I pay tenor saxophone and many of you might be like, " there are more the I type of saxophone" or what is a saxophone but in my van class my teacher said the we should use a tuner app, but in this one I couldn't figure out how to change the instrument so like if I play an C it will show like a D, please fix this 😫😩🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾💗💓💔
Worst tuner 1/5
This tuner made me break my violin string and I am very glad I had insurance to replace it. I am so mad do not get this app!
Made no sense! 1/5
Do not get this app! I got it to tune my cello, and it was horrible! My cello is untunable now... thanks for nothing!

Tuning tone 5/5
I really like this app. It helps me with tuning my notes while practicing long tones, which would help me improve my tone and sound on my instrument. This app is great!!😊💚
Completely inaccurate 1/5
By Someone Purple
This tuner was so inaccurate I had to use a tuning fork instead. Even after I tuned with a tuning fork, the A 440 was still flat according to this tuner. And don’t even try to sing because it wobbles back and forth unless you sing a synthesizer like tune with no depth or vibrato. Not even a little. Would not recommend. At least it was free so I can delete it without feeling bad for spending money.
It tunes but I can’t sign in 3/5
By Lana Harley
The free version is very good with tuning but when I was trying to have the free upgrade with twitter or Facebook it wouldn’t let me sign in with settings
used to work 2/5
not sure if the os has updated or if the company has dusabled the free version but this used to work very well but now it is just dead. i can see that its registering sound but apparently - even if i put the phone right at the sound hole of my instrument 16” viola” there is not enough sound to register a note. frustrating. i think about buying pro - but if the free version isnt working because it doesnt work any more - i dont want to throw money at it for nothng. disappointed
By stacy and abby
This app is really good the only bad thing is that you have to pay for an upgrade that could be real beneficial, which I understand why they do that. It’s really easy to understand, my five year old daughter uses this on her recorder and she loves using it!
Best tuning app!(Developer, please read!) 5/5
As a harp student, this is a simple and effective way to tune my harp. Easy to use, minimalist vibe, and little to no ads are awesome!
This is a great app, although it does have room for improvement. It is harder to pick up small sounds. If the developer could fix that, it would be awesome!
Overall, this is a great app. Would recommend! Thank you for this amazing app. It is a lifesaver!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲😲🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀🙀👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻✌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
