Description

IRLpad helps you take bad notes — and remember more. It’s a digital notebook that follows physical rules. No delete key. No infinite scroll. Just one page at a time. Most note apps want to help you organize. IRLpad helps you remember. In IRLpad, there’s no perfect formatting, no endless editing, and no folders to get lost in. Instead, you write one page at a time. You can’t delete — you strike through. When a page is full, you move on. You can turn back, see old pages, and even faintly glimpse what’s beneath — just like a real notebook. That’s the point. Bad notes. Messy notes. Honest notes. Because imperfect ideas are the ones you actually remember. IRLpad is grounded in real cognitive science: • People remember better when their thoughts stay in one physical place • Removing “undo” forces deeper thinking and stronger memory • Finite space sharpens ideas and reduces overload In a world of infinite feeds and perfect tools, IRLpad gives you physical limits — and lets your brain take it from there. You can type or write by hand. Scribble with your finger or stylus. Switch modes with a two-finger swipe. Swipe to turn the page. Swipe quickly to remove one. There are no menus, no buttons, no formatting panels. Just gestures that feel like paper. Notes are saved to iCloud and sync automatically. There are no accounts to create and no exports to manage. IRLpad doesn’t do everything. It doesn’t organize your entire life. It doesn’t transcribe your voice. It doesn’t let you customize everything. What it does is give your thoughts a page. A real one. With edges. IRLpad is for people who think on paper. Who miss notebooks but not the bulk. Who want space to capture ideas, not optimize them. Take bad notes. Remember more. IRLpad.
