I am so upset with JCPENNEY online ordering I could scream!! On April 29th I ordered an ION Robot Vacuum Cleaner. I was so excited to finally own one of these vacuums and couldn’t wait to receive it. A few days later I received an email saying it had been delivered to me. It had not and so I waited a few days before I called about its whereabouts. On May 6th I called customer service and was asked to wait a couple days more. Two days later I received a delivery from JCPENNEY but it was not my vacuum, it was a LED Ring Light and Phone Mount that I had NOT ordered. So I called customer service again and was told the label for my vacuum was put on the wrong box!! Can you believe that?!!! So now I had a choice of receiving a return label, sending it back, waiting for my refund because I was still charged for the vacuum of almost $300 or I could go to my local JCPENNEY to return this wrong item, receive my refund and then see if it was in stock to buy it there but if not I’d have to order the vacuum all over again and HOPE I’d receive the correct item this time. OMG!! Amazon save me! I only ordered through JCPENNEY because the vacuum was on sale and had a very good rating. What an aggravation and waste of my time!

Worst service ever!! I was told delivery by a certain date. That day came and went now it’s 3weeks later and get the run around then today I’m being told it’s being pushed back another 2-3 weeks. I told them to cancel my order so let’s see if they actually do it.

Still can’t access my account in order to make a payment. I have to open my computer and go through all the steps in order to pay. This app is worthless. I used to be able to pay my bill through this app. Therefore I’m not shopping at Penny’s anymore. Macy’s will get all my business after having an active account for 23 years.

Having problems to reset my password and have called and emailed support. They have my correct email on file and never hear back from anyone. When I call they say a ticket has been issued to resolve this. This has been going on for over 4 months. Credit customer for over 25 years.

I recently ordered online 3 underscore bras they withdrawal the amount from my account and haven’t received nothing yet . Then I get email saying items canceled because they are low in stock . I called them and got poor customer service and nothing resolved yet because it turns out that they didn’t put my apt number on my items and NEVER DELIVERED AND NEVER GOT A REFUND

Merchandise is great, service is the worst. They canceled two or my orders for no reason, when I called they said they sent back my item because I didn’t pick them up, but it was never ready for pick up!! It was all the time IN TRANSIT TO STORE, so It was my last order, I have the store card and order almost every week but I don’t want to waist my time shopping online for nothing.

I’ll admit that JC Penney offers great discounts on popular brand name items, particularly with clothing, through their app and online. The problem I’m having is finding clothes/shoes that are in stock. What good is a discount if the items are not available due to low inventory. Yes I know COVID has a lot to due with the restocking issues from your suppliers and it’s basically first come first serve when shopping online. However if this company doesn’t come up with a better solution keeping up with supply and demand, then you are going to continue having a problem maintaining your customer base.

All of a sudden this app quit working. When I try to log in it just sits there and spins. I’ve restarted the app, restarted my phone, made sure the app was updated and still cannot log in. I can’t get to app support either so I had no choice but to leave my remarks here.

I purchased items through the app using a reward (which was also accepted) just to get an email the next day stating my rewards was not accepted. Why did the order go through when I processed my payment. Now instead of being a satisfied customer, I am stuck with none of the items I ordered. And no one I spoke to could make this right!
App Does Not Work 1/5
The app simply does not work. It takes forever to load once you open it. It pulls up expired coupons as offers. How am I suppose to use an expired coupon? There is no option for pulling up your rewards account barcode to scan at the register to earn reward points.
I was going to shop at JC Penney, but now I am going to Kohl’s. At least their app works and is designed correctly.

Looked up order for status of order on line for store pick up( normally ship to home) and discovered one item showed picked up. Call JCP. Com said I needed to call store, order could have been returned because was not picked up and wrong transaction entered instead of returned. I told them I never received a notice items were in, and confirmation was Mar 30- Apr 2, today was Mar 28th. Called store was told truck comes tomorrow and some items that had been there for 10 days were returned. I explained my order was on the 22nd couldn’t be part of 10 day return. So now I’m waiting for a truck ... what a mix up... and confusing service...never had an experience like this with JCP in over 25 years.....

Payment options are so confusing, the costumer service representative are very unprofessional. I call to make a payment and was send to depths colector and my credit card congrats and the amount of credit when up...from 75 dollars balance on my account when up 185.00 38 dollar fee and moth payments. This is ridiculous...there is no way to fix things there no manager to talk on unprofessional representatives. Hope this doesn’t damage my credit.

This would be a five star except that the last few months I’ve had multiple items of an order be short. The first 2 times I had interactions with multiple customer service people and I felt like they just gave me the runaround until I finally said enough and to send me items they didn’t include when they were supposed to. I have given multiple chances and I am about to be done with JCPenney. Their clothes are great. Fulfillment and customer service are not.
