Doesn’t work 80% of the time 2/5
The only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because when it works, it’s great. But the majority of the time when I try to use it, it doesn’t work. I’ve done the updates and nothing. Super frustrating.

I'm from Houma, La and use the store in Southland Mall. Today was my last trip. Your employees are rude, and have zero customer service, and are obviously miserable by how they act, and the store is always a mess!
However, that is not even the main reason I am done shopping with your store. I have tried 3 separate times to get jeans for my son, and the quality of your clothes has just plummeted! On those 3 times I have pulled size 14 reg., every single one of them fits COMPLETELY different! Now, I did find a pair that fits and went to the cashier, had her scan it, and ordered 2 more pairs of the EXACT same jean. The jeans I got in are laughable they are so ridiculously different. There is a 4.5 inch length difference! I have ordered other clothes online before and have faced the exact same issue. I've never left a review before, but after this, I am so done.
It is time to get some quality control in your inventory. I wish I could include a picture of the jeans I ordered.

I can’t see any categories! I can click onto them and then everything is blank. Does that with every single section except the Sephora section

After 4 whole Days, JCPENNEY will NOT apply my $80.00 payment to my JCP Gold Card which my account is very much in good standing for many years! I paid CASH inside a JCPenney store at a JCPENNEY Cash Regester! Not only that, but....
They have done this to me now for 3 MONTHS STRAIGHT!!! They simply won’t fix this!!!! No wonder JCPenney is going under....they treat their ‘valued’ customers like whiteout any regard to their needs. I am DONE with THEM after 40 yrs of loyal service TO THEM. JCPENNEY? You just another $400 Sale from me today. I can see why it doesn’t seem to care.

The app updated recently for iOS 14, and works great again. I still have some problems navigating sometimes but that’s not from incompatibility, it’s from the setup of the app itself. Still a good app though

I applied this app to my phone and then went into shop at JCPenney’s here in Redding,California.I showed my phone to the clerk and she said are we don’t use those I have a coupon right here made me wonder why we have to download any apps if they don’t look at your phone and use it

Love this app! Very handy to use in stores for price checking or descriptions. I’ve also ordered many, many times with it. Great info and easy to use. I can even make a payment on my JCPenney card in less than 30 seconds.
I have shopped at JCPenney for years and years I’ve always liked their stuff they’ve always been my first to go to but lately I’ve noticed your prices have gone way high and your quality has not gone that high to deserve those prices so I’m sad about that that’s upsetting
They finally after a long time got my app/account right. However I never received a email letting me know that my order was ready to pick up 😡

First, My family loves JCPENNY’s merchandise!
I was told by a store salesperson to go to my JCPenney app to see how many points I have. Every time I do that it gives me a non-English statement & doesn’t tell me my points. Very frustrating because I want utilize my points for my next purchase!

Congratulations you’ve really broken the ap. Price check scanner now just takes you to the cart; no way to check the price of something. Attention to detail like this is probably why JCP is going bankrupt. Not shopping at JCP until fixed.
I have tried to place an order online with you and it just doesn’t make any sense if you have my address why should I have so much problems ordering the product

The app was not working so I checked to see if there was an update. There was one from 3 days ago so I did the update. It is still not working!!! All I get is “Checking Your Account” with 3 rotating dots. I can’t click on anything!! It is stuck on this blank screen while it checks my account!!!

It constantly crashes. It’s slow. WAY too much product results even though you type in specific brands. It’s more of a nuisance than it is helpful.
Missing engagement Ring 1/5
My fiancé and I bought an engagement ring back in February 2020. It took me a while to decide I want to get it sized. But when I was ready I contacted JC pennies and spoke with the lady. She sent me a shipping label and instructions to send my way. After a couple months I did so. I followed up a few weeks later because of course like any new engaged woman I missed my ring. After calling customer service and getting the runaround and being transferred to and from departments they discovered they don’t know where my ring is. It could be returned, but the credits not on my credit card. At one point they told me they don’t do ring sizing. I have contacted my local store and they were a little bit more help. I want my engagement ring. I don’t want the credit for it. It’s already been three weeks and I just got an email that is going to take another 18 days for someone just to get back to me. This is my first experience with JCPenney’s and Need less to say this will be my last. As soon as I either get my ring back or get the credit for it which ever comes, first I’m immediately closing my account. And no one really cares. Just send me my freaking engagement ring back. Sad in AK ...

I bought a recliner that was left on my front porch, I would have inspected it if the driver hadn’t drove away so fast. But there’s a fault with it but I was told I’d have to pay for return and reorder. I will never buy furniture from them again.
My app has been stalled for DAYS. The update reported that it would fix all of the bugs. Inaccurate.

I’m 68 years old and I have been shopping JC Penny for many many years. I remember when JC Penny was downtown Asheville NC before moving to mall. Growing up my Mother shopped there and when I was old enough I started shopping at Penny’s... I have never been disappointed in any product purchased. I’ve never in all these years returned any product.

I’ve always paid my bill within 2 weeks of charging anything, sometimes sooner, well for the last 2 months they’ve charged me $38 late fee because my due date is the 2nd... but it’s has never gone longer than 3 weeks between payments. Very poor customer service. I’m considering not shopping at Pennys anymore unless they waive the late fee
