I would like to not have to bring my phone with me into the gym. I just got the Apple Watch and I have been using it in the gym rather than my phone. I take pictures of my routine and send them to my watch. It’s great that I can get the workouts still but I wish I could log them. Now with the watch, I don’t need to bring my phone. It would make things better and much more minimalistic if I didn’t need to have my phone beside me to use the app.
Definitely a great app. Keeps you on track and makes getting a variety easy. This is by far the best free app and beats paid apps out as well.
Bug - first exercise always zeros out when sets are done. I have to read the whole first exercise every time. I trick but saving one set, backing out, and reentering it so the whole set is lost.
Weekly report 3/5
I love this app and have been using it for 3 months now but my weekly reports haven't been coming in for the past three weeks. My wife's account as well. I've emailed support but haven't gotten a solution for three weeks. I'm going to switch to HeavySet until they get this resolved.
Trying to input my routine into the app was very challenging, couldn’t set the correct number of set without starting the routine. I attempted to use the website to add the routine to the app, which allows you to set set and reps without having to record them as a workout. But for some reason the app and website would not sync, and any time I went back into my current routine on the website everything was deleted.

I love the fact that you can plan your workout in the app, and it shows you how to do the workout! I don’t need to have a million tabs open in safari while working out, and don’t need notes open keeping track of what I did or plan to do, because the app already does it! I think the basic app works well for me, but someone that is more into fitness might find a use for the pro version. Definitely recommend this!

I love this app! I started using it at least five or six years ago on my iPod touch, and have loved it. It makes it easy for me to run through a routine while at the gym. It keeps track of how you have improved, which days you go to the gym, and all kinds of other things that I’m sure I’ve never used. I created an account online that it syncs with, and it is easier to create workouts on the computer first, and then sync it to your phone.
Was working good but frustrating now because it doesn’t record your first set. Have to re enter each set before moving to the next exercise

I have used this app for years and find it to be one of the best out there. That said, saying it works with Apple Watch is a joke. The Watch app is basically not useful, even when it works. Too much time has passed saying better Apple Watch features are coming. It may be time to find a new tracking app.

I need a free app that I could track, plan, record and repeat my routines. This is perfect! It gives you pre set routines that you can add to or change or just take out workouts all together. Perfectly customizable and perfect!!

Fix the glitches 2/5
I love this app and it’s done wonders for my fitness journey, however there’s been a glitch of workouts not saving and workouts saying they’ve saved but receiving a message the next time the app was opened that workouts didn’t end and were force ended. It’s been going on for months now and it’s frustrating. I’ve downloaded and redownloaded. Doesn’t fix it. Please patch this up. I don’t want to switch apps and was considering going to the paid version prior to this.

Simple as I want but has features available if I want to train for winning Mr. Olympia, World’s Strongest Man, Tour de France, Boston Marathon, Grocery Wars and Jeopardy all in the same year. One of the features JEFIT has that I wish every app had is the ability to use it on iPhone AND PC. I can plan or update workouts from home and sync them to phone at the gym.
At the rate I’m going, thanks to JEFIT, I will add Sexiest Man Alive to list of winning. Look out Charlie Sheen - ain’t no Tiger Blood gonna keep my down!

Beyond the incredible features, Jefit is very intuitive and continuously evolving and adding new features! I’ve downloaded/owned hundreds of apps and none of their support/design teams have come close to the responsiveness of Jefit’s team! I highly recommend this app to anyone looking for the perfect solution to their fitness needs!
Doesn’t record first set after update 3/5
The first workout set doesn’t save week to week, have to go back and input stuff twice. In the workout tracker I mean.
Like I input the 3 sets, hit next, and goes to the next routine. If I back out it only shows “check mark” on the other exercises but isn’t saving the first exercise set of the day.
Very frustrating, please fix this glitch!
Watch app doesn't connect 2/5
All of a sudden the watch app isn't connecting to the iPhone app. Rebooted both apps but no success.
Started after last iOS upgrade to 11.3.
Prior to that it worked well.

It’s been well over 4 months now that you’ve had this issue where the app will not close the workout of the day properly making it look like the user has been resting for 23hours because it didn’t sync properly. Additionally, now it’s an Elite feature to alternate between different exercises??? AND your graph is still not fixed, ive used your app for 6+ years and you have the X axis as days???? How does that even make sense?

Has everything you need but workouts not recorded in HealthKit. Uses Apple Watch already, could calculate calories burned and also make use of exercise minutes for activity rings

when it keeps deleting / loosing your logs n data? huh?
its like what mad cow disease do to your brain. holes pop up here n there and then more of it slowly as time goes by until you loose all the memory n functionality !
i have synced everytime i start n close the app but still, it couldn't be saved. maybe it is a subtle way of reminding you to be catious of mad cow disease; in that case, developer is doing the great job !
few months later: wow it is doing the same thing again! great job again! making holes in the log should be written as one of the main (yet a random) features of the app.
that is it. I’m deleting this crap.
Apple health integration is a must 1/5
Admin on a JEFIT site said apple health integration is only wanted by “20 people” so they’re not going to waste time doing it. Everyone wants apple health access. This app would be number 1 if phone knew I worked out and how many calories etc.

Love this app. Only reason I’m giving it 4 star is because while doing a work out after 12 am it resets itself as a new workout. I go to the gym at 11:30 pm. I would like to finish my workout and not have it reset itself at midnight.

At one time I would have rated 5 stars. The lock screen function was removed a few updates ago. Since I keep my phone in my pocket, this very important to me. Also, as of one of the last updates, it keeps randomly dropping whole sets I completed, making me re-input them. Unfortunately, I didn’t notice it was doing this until a few workouts later and I had to past logs to fill in the missing sets. This is massively unacceptable. I emailed the developer when I noticed these things and was told to make sure I was on the current version. When I responded that I already was, I got no response. I gave it some time and emailed again and still nothing. I will change rating to 5 stars when these items are fixed.

This app is a fantastic app for tracking your workout. It doesn’t have EVERYTHING I would like, but it’s the best app out there. And it’s free!

Some exercises don’t save 2/5
Overall pretty solid app. I have used it for several years. On my iPhone X I have an issue where when working out in on the fly mode, after my last set of a certain exercise, the entire exercise fails to save to my log for that day so I have to check after each exercise to make sure it saved. If not I have to go back to the exercise and add it all from memory. It happens at least 1 time per workout. Not sure how to fix it or if I am doing something wrong.

The new, swap this for..., feature is awesome. Y’all keep making great improvements. If y’all had “body weight” and negative values.... this would be perfect, but I can deal with doing the math 😉. Thanks for a great alternative to the pad and pen. Keep up the great work!

I downloaded this app today and I’m glad I did, overall. I like being able to find different exercise options based on the muscles I’m working. Having the name of the machine is helpful too. I am curious whether all of the athletes used to demonstrate the equipment are men. Initially, I thought the default gender was male and I hadn’t changed it to female.
I’d recommend allowing members the option of editing their user name. I used my email address as my user name (which is my real name). I learned that members can communicate with other members online but it was after I had paid $6.99. I tried to edit my username (unsuccessfully) so I’m waiting until the end of the month to delete the app and reinstall it

Is there a way to see the total reps of an exercise after the workout instead of just max reps?
App and Website issues 2/5
I signed up through the website first because I was having trouble signing up through the app. The website is very glitchy. I still have issues when I log into the website where the functionalities do not work correctly. The app is even worse. If I’m searching for a specific exercise and try to drill down with filters, none of the filters work. It’s a great concept, it’s just not there yet.

The app has most of the functionalities I could ask for to track my workouts. However, there are a few features I couldn't find. This means either it would be nice to have them or if they exist, ui need to improve.
1. No programs or variations of cardio exercises. I can't log HIIT on the treadmill. Would be nice to have a few options built in and freedom up customize. That way your users will build the database for you
2. The assisted chin up exercise works opposite to most - less weight is good. But the app still calculates the 1RM as in a conventional manner
3. Is it possible to adjust the rest timer for a given routine or day as per my needs? Would be nice to have

I’ve been using this app for years via multiple phones. Never had an issue. JEFIT will not let me end a session. Please fix it! I am thoroughly upset.
