App Does Everything... Except Apple Pay 4/5
4 stars because the locator, ordering, and other options all work great. Until it’s time to pay, and you’re in a hurry to get the order in because you are already in your way, and it doesn’t accept Apple Pay. So you have to take out your card, enter all info, which is unnecessary, tedious, and slow, and shouldn’t be an issue for any app like this on the iPhone.

Ordered online and showed up at location and they had no notification. Manager accused us of not ordering. Showed email verification and they started working on it. Took 25 minutes. Not even close to ready for prime time.
How can you remove cheese? 3/5
When selecting the subs there is no way of removing the cheese from it. Please add that option.

This app is terribly out of date. I love Jersey Mike’s, they’re the best sub shop in my opinion but I’m all about convenience. I usually end up getting Firehouse or Jimmy Johns instead just because their apps are much easier and faster to use. Please update this app!

After setting it up and going through the process it tells me to call my order into the store because it can’t process the order. You’d think that for all the money they’re charging for their sandwiches that they could afford an app that works!

Tried signing in with my email. Said credentials were invalid, so I figured maybe I never made an account. So I try to make one, and it says the email is already in use. Ok fine, so I must’ve just forgot the password. Well I go to reset it, and it says that no account exists with that email???????
So the app is actually broken. Fn hell.

It’s a good help, and I use it all the time, but it’s a pain to have to get out my charge card every single time and enter everything manually, when I have auto fill enabled on my phone and my charge card in the phone.

I have tried to order several times using this app. I like that you have an app. There are some things that need to be fixed though. There isn’t an option to get more than one combination. You can edit the quantity on the combination, but if you change it to 2 the app still shows a quantity of 1 when you return to the order page. The app will not save your items in your cart if you have to edit your order. As an example: I noticed that my order showed white bread, but I wanted wheat bread. When I tried to edit my order there wasn’t an option to edit the bread. I went to the home screen and it didn’t show my order. I had to phone my order in.
Apple Pay in the app please 1/5
Jersey Mike’s is my favorite of the chain sandwich shops and I like using Apple Pay in the store. It would be great to have it in the app as well.

There is no option to order Children’s meals on this app, so you either need to call the store or order the kids meal in-store, negating any convenience this app may I’ve otherwise offered. It’s been this way since its inception and I’m not sure why they refuse to complete the menu for tens of thousands of people who need this.

There is no back button. The only way to navigate back is to click on home button which makes you start over. Does not store your card information for easy check out. Doesn’t expect Apple Pay for easy check out. Cannot scan your card information for easy input. Please spend some money and let a knowledgeable editor to fix your app. It is embarrassing to have 2 star

This was a terrible ordering experience. The app (which isn't even updated for iPhone X resolutions) is slow and clunky. I configured a large order but had to modify something. I hit "back" one too many times and lost the whole order. They desperately need a shopping cart feature. It's crazy that they make you enter a credit card to place an order when Apple Pay is on the phone and would be so much better. This app hasn't been updated in two years and it shows.

I place an order on the evening of December 8th. I chose a location close to where I’m staying. When my family went to pick up the order they was told that the order wasn’t there. I called headquarters two days later that Monday. It took three days to find out my order had gone to another store further away. I was then told go to the store for my refund because the order was placed at that store. When I informed them that I used the app and chose a store close to me I was told that I placed my order at the store. I was visiting my mother and I never left the house. If I placed the order in the store I could have left with my order. I won’t be using this app nor will go back to any of their stores.

I had never downloaded this app, yet every email address I tried to use for the first time said it was already in use. So I went back to try to login and get a new password and the app crashed. Do not recommend this app.

No longer does. Once I click to order the screen goes blank and I can’t move forward. Used to order and pick up a could times a week, haven’t ordered once since the app stopped working. I even uninstalled and re-installed.

Won’t let me sign up, It keeps giving me the message that the email already exists. So I tried 3 different emails and same message. Then I made one up and same message.

Just too long and detailed to place an order for a sub. I don't know how to make it better, but it should be more convenient. It shouldn't be easier to schedule a vacation than it is to buy a sub on an app. I’ll not use app to order subs...unless maybe i need to order for a party or something larger.
Great subs though, i’ll just not get the preferred parking spots cuz I'm old fashioned:)

The food & employers at Jersey Mike’s are great. This review is about the app only.
Right away, I knew I wasn’t going to be able to utilize this app. The sandwich customization is ludicrous. I cannot eat lettuce but there are certain ingredients with an asterisk which you cannot remove from the sandwich. You can uncheck these items with the asterisk but if you try to submit the sandwich it will tell you that not all necessary items are checked. I thought all toppings were optional????? Well lettuce has an asterisk. My son likes his sandwiches with extra cheese and no other toppings. Can’t do that through the app either. You also can not communicate through the app if you want a normal amount of a topping, a lighter amount, or a heavier portion.
So, the effort put into the app seems half-hearted. Another large sandwich chain & the pizza companies have very well-developed apps, perhaps you could spend some time working your way through those to find out how to make a user friendly app that allows optimal customization of your products.

The subs are fantastic. The app is completely useless if you want log Shore Points. They never register. You’re better off with the old paper cards. It would help if you could manually enter the points off your receipt like other franchises do.

Was a frequent customer and one day learned you can get regular discounts texted to you so I tried to sign up. I tried countless times with no luck, called corporate they blamed it on Verizon or my Apple phone and refused to help even after learning the issue is defiantly with them. Called corporate again and was hung up on, called for the district manager who never called back. I refuse to support a company that offers loyal customers financial benefits when it doesn’t work and nobody cares. Which Witch Subs has great subs and delivers... sorry Mike but OH you don’t care.

While signing up, If you make a mistake or scroll up, you won’t be able to scroll back down to the sign up button. You’ll have to force close the app. Hire a new coder
Worst of the restaurant apps 3/5
Of all the restaurant apps I’ve used, this is the least featured. Maybe because the App Store says the last update was two years ago! There’s new standards for apps now so you need to get with it.
My biggest complaint is the lack of a “cart” concept. If I customize a sub and want to do a second one or even add a drink, going back to the menu loses the first sub. There’s no shopping cart to edit.
To get around this, I created an order with two of the same subs with drinks and chips, then saved it as a favorite. Now when I want to order two subs I choose my favorite and customize them and check out. If I have to go back and edit one after I choose checkout, I lost them.
Come on Jersey Mike’s....I’ve reported it several times, just fix this.

Our food is always ready and available when we go pick it up which is good news. My problem is that at certain stores, add ins like avocado are not available, for some strange reason, so if you want it you have to ask for it in the store and since there’s a charge, you have to pay again. Also there is no option for a kids meal on the app?? Why is that when one is offered in store? Also the 20 minute pick up window is excessive especially at times when they aren’t busy.

Jersey mikes needs to update the app to provide an option of a cash payment. Not everyone uses s debit card or credit card when ordering.

This app is convenient if you want to order ahead and just pick up your order. With that said, the app doesn’t give you a longer completion time for nothing. If you’re around the area, it’ll be faster to just place your order at the store than the app since they prioritize the customers in the store first.
