This app was great. Used to be a fan. However, in two occasions within the last week the GPS took the driver on a much longer course. It extended the first trip over 45 minutes! Good bye Juno. It’s been fun
Typo in your app makes me wary 3/5
A teacher once asked how the class would feel if we were about to be operated on but the paperwork had typos? Not confident in the facility’s employees and the doctor was the class’ consensus. There’s a typo in your app that’s supposed to say, “quiet ride,” but it says “quite” instead, and before pushing apps or updates live, I think it’s important to proofread at the least. You have programmers checking for bugs and errors, you should have at least one employee proofreading.

Juno provides Excellent service 5/5
I have been using Juno for about a year and have been extremely happy with their service. I walk with a cane and move slowly and the drivers have been very considerate of me disability and are excellent drivers. It is also one of the few car services that has a telephone hotline which I have found extremely helpful. I live in the NE Bronx near Mount Vernon and sometimes need trips into Mount Vernon. My only regret is that Juno is cannot pick up from Westchester County. I hope Juno will eventually extend their territory beyond the 5 boroughs.
Bad drivers (Stole my phone) 1/5
I dropped my iPhone 8 Plus in the cab (my negligence). I was carrying some items off and I forgot my phone inside. I contacted the driver with my boyfriend’s phone and said to hell with me!!! Reported this situation with JUNO, nothing much happened. There goes my phone... might as well take an Uber next time.

I requested a ride to the airport from my house. The app said 10-12 minutes but stayed that way for a while. Finally I called the driver and he said he couldn’t come because I was too far away. I told him I was going to the airport (more $$ for him) so he said ok fine I’ll be there in 5 minutes. Once he got there the ride was great. But if I hadn’t called, I’d still be waiting at my house and missing this flight. Just because the app says the driver is on his way doesn’t actually mean he’s on his way!

Found cheapest ride option for Juno on Google Maps. Midtown Manhattan to Newark airport on Easter Sunday. Downloaded app. Created account. Ordered car. Driver accepted then cancelled. App suggested to try again. Ordered again. This time request was accepted - free upgrade to Lux ride. Driver arrives. Can’t find him. Cannot call or text. App does not let you. Finally look around at corner streets found him in traffic. Sat down with my son in the car. 2 mins later he says he can’t go to New Jersey. I said you accepted the ride on the app. He says he is physically not allowed to go. No idea why and the app doesn’t show him destination until he starts the ride. Really??? Had him pull over and found a Lyft ride instead. Deleted the app. Never again!

Somebody in NYC got my credit card details and was able to use JUNO using my card. JUNO would not issue a refund telling me their security team would not allow it and told me I had to go through the police department and my bank. If this happened with Uber or Lyft they would issue a refund as they are reputable companies with better security controls.

I am skeptical with Juno nowadays. I have many drivers let me wait until last minute canceled my ride. I called a driver and was rude and hanged up on me. This keeps happening. I will change company!

Two drivers canceled on me in the rain then the app won’t let you call them back. Diverts you to their general number. Really poor function to let the drivers bail as the surge pricing was fluctuating. Deleted the app. Use Lyft or Via instead.

Frequently Charges Extra After Juno Gives Wrong Pickup Location 3/5

I’m not sure if this is on the driver or the Juno app, but there have been multiple instances since the beginning of 2019 where I have been charged additional fare for pickup because Juno decided to hide the car are around the corner from where I submitted to be picked up. While I don’t mind walking sometimes, If I wanted to walk to a quarter to get to my destination, I would’ve used Via or a Uber Pool. If I am paying for a door-to-door car service such as Juno, I don’t appreciate being told to walk around the corner, and being penalized if I don’t happen to be standing right at the correct corner within the 30 seconds I’m given to get to the pickup spot. There have been times where I literally had to run to get to the spot, because I didn’t want to be penalized. This is not always an option if it is pouring down rain (New Year’s Eve) or if I am carrying a bunch of heavy stuff in my bag. Furthermore, when I tried through the app to come around the corner, it is always ignored.
While I am not sure whether this is a failure on their GPS, or if they’re intentionally trying to inflate their rate, I do know that I don’t appreciate being charged more as a result of someone’s incompetence.

Great app and great customer service but I keep saying that you guys need to add a feature to add stops. That's the only thing that is annoying.
Juno is a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT compared to Gett 3/5
I used Gett religiously. It was reliable and I always felt like I paid a fair price. The drivers always told me they preferred driving for Gett over other apps because it treated drivers the best as well. I sadly discovered that my Gett app turned into Juno and since using Juno I have had drivers repeatedly cancel on me after I had been waiting for them for over 5-8 minutes, had the destination addresses show up incorrectly, and the pricing model is nowhere near as rider-friendly as Gett. As soon as my $100 credit promotion is used up I will be deleting the app. Huge disappointment. Their GPS is consistently off and they can never find my home address, which is a simple address no other apps have an issue with.
