As soon as you delete the app and go on their website you’ll get a better price. This app tracks your searches and artificially inflated the prices of flights that you are trying to buy. I had a $200 dollar increase on the flight when using the app.

I booked a flight through Kiwi.com because it resulted from a search on Kayak (I’ve been using kayak for many years, so I trusted the companies listed would be legitimate). Kiwi.com is completely fraudulent and texted me saying my flights were canceled, and to click to rebook another flight. I did this once, paid an extra fee for the new flight, and THEN they texted me again saying there was a change in the flight and I had to rebook. I felt like an idiot. I had to rebook my original flights (which never were canceled or changed from my first search) through the airline website, and Kiwi refused to refund me, insisting that the carrier canceled the flights, even though I told them I had already rebooked the same flights on the carrier website. This texting happened numerous times until the dates had come and gone. Kayak needs to be more selective in which companies it chooses to include in search results!!!

I use this app to give me an idea of what airline websites I should look at to find the best deals and best flights. I like how there are a lot of filtering options in terms of dates and times of departure and landing, the number of stops, the number of bags, etc. it is also helpful when they give advice on whether or not to buy now or wait to buy the flight, although I’m not sure if the Google website might be better at that. Also great for rental cars

When you want to go somewhere and want to decide based on price for a given time period, the respective map view allows one to so quickly explore and navigate options without having to reset/lose filters

Be ware of this company!
Kayak lately has shown me rates lower than other places but when I end up buying from them, the fare they showed me did not exist at the airline’s and instead I am charged more.
In my last booking at Kayak (never buying from them again) where each leg was separate, Kayak showed me each leg but the price for the last leg was made up by Kayak.
How come? Let me tell you:
After buying the first leg and getting the second, Kayak sent me to the airline’s site, the airline charged me in a different currency and the difference in fare between Kayak and the airline when converted to US$ in my credit card was over $700. Per person.

I was recently scammed by kayak and their recommended agent. Sold me a flexible fare with flex dates except it chose a date a month later instead of +/-3 days. The date change cost $295 and the luggage was an addl $359. Total was almost $1000 for a one way from Wuito to Mismi (4hr flight). I will never again use this app to book anything and will advise my colleagues and touring clients to never use this app as it is glitchy and scammy by design. Tell all your friends.

Kayak sent my request for airline tickets to MyTrip. Selected morning flight, email received has flights leaving in the evening with 8 hour layover. Nothing was the same from my original request. Zero support!!! Horrible experience!!!

Bought through kayak and unbeknownst to me they forwarded my purchase to a company called farescan and it’s constant scams now and a horrible company to work with that I would never wanna travel again or buy from Kayak. Do yourself a favor and either buy directly from airlines, through your credit cards or use reputable in person agency’s that have authentic and good reviews. Thanks kayak for ruining my year

Went from from good and best to enough already. It keeps sending me messages via email of a flight search that I’m not doing. I’ve tried everything to make it stop sending me this. When I click t stop it, it says this notification doesn’t exist but yet I’m still getting notified about it. Obnoxious to the nth degree. Went from five star to two and I’m being gracious with two.

I live in Europe. Use the explore option often for exact dates constantly. And most the number flights I see are not true to price shown. One you click a price and it pulls up actual flight for that time. I hardly ever see the price that was initially listed. Most times many dollars to hundred of dollars difference.
