Very user friendly! 5/5
Retired and approaching my 70’s, I’m not exceedingly computer savvy, but managed to figure out how to use this app quite easily. Very satisfied with the functionality. Will definitely subscribe. Highly recommended!
Annoying pop ups and upselling even for paying customers 1/5
I have subscribed to Keeper for several years and have been reasonably satisfied as it does the job intended and is not cost prohibitive. I have noticed an annoying trend in the increased frequency of pop ups trying to get me to upgrade to “Breach Watch” services. When I log in to keeper to pull down a password, I can’t stand that I am presented with a pop up which displays two options to make it go away: “upgrade for 9.99”, or “stay unprotected”. Give me a break, I’m already a paying customer, there should be an option in the settings for me not to have to put up with this garbage upselling. How many times do I have to say no?? Honestly the only reason I haven’t switched to Lastpass or another service, is simply inertia, but that may give way soon along with my patience.
Banner ads even for subscribers 1/5
Still no change.
Still no change.
Long time Keeper user. Normally rated as 5 stars but every once and a while the developer does something bone headed that leaves you wondering what in the hell were they thinking.
Case and point - for us subscribers who pay $50 a year we now get the bonus of in-app banner ads that take up 20% of the screen. This is up and above the full screen advertising that shows up each time we login.
It actually remind me of scams you see when browsers are hacked and say something like “SCAN THIS PASSWORD IN THE DARK WEB...NOW”
Oh wait... that’s exactly what the in app banner says. Seriously. It’s red and yellow and looks so bad that I actually thought the Keeper app had been hacked.
“click here in this link and we’ll check your passwords”... real comforting.
Actual outside of my sarcasm in writing this review I am actually wondering about my passwords safety. I’m not really sure I want a password app exposing my passwords on the web “to check them”.
The banner comes up when I am in a password record. Clicking the link then takes me to the web, from Keeper.
Now I’m guessing that Keeper probable has things locked down but at what point do they sacrifice security for revenue?
The question really is not whether it is secure but rather which is more secure - with an ad banner showing when you have your passwords showing on screen or without? The ad information is pulling from a sever somewhere and being displayed as your password is also being displayed.
Subscribers are already paying $50 a year, why even put in their heads that security is being sacrificed for revenue.
Hopefully the developer can see the concerns of the longtime paying customers and come up with another way to increase their revenue that will not sacrifice the security (if not only a fraction).
Rhea is awesome! 5/5
I have had the app for several years and have always like the security and piece of mind it provides. Recently I received a new phone for work where my app has existed for several years so I wanted to move the app without losing its contents to a different phone. Rhea walked me through how to move the app from one iTunes account to another and it worked like a charm. She was professional, prompt and very knowledgeable. Thank you Rhea!
They Will Address Any Issues 5/5
I was so happy with Keeper until now. I opted out of the paying option because I have used the basic, free, one with no problem for 5 years...maybe even longer and now I cannot get ANY of my passwords if I don’t pay the $29.99. Very disappointed!! I am giving them 3 stars because it really has been an awesome and reliable app until now!
Update: I emailed the support team as asked and they resolved my issue. For some reason I was on a paid account. When it didn’t renew, it sent me that “pay” notice and locked me out. After contacting support, they put my account back on the free account. I am all good now! Thanks Keeper Support!
My thoughts after years of usage 3/5
When i first downloaded the app would allow me to create folders to organize the info, after numerous updates i no longer can create folders as they have hijacked that option into a paid portion of the app! Now i am disorganized and I’ve just discovered the app has dropped certain info that i need. Used to love this app and recommended it to hundreds of clients and employees now I’m looking for new! Sad
Great program - Poor billing 4/5
By IT Manager-
The program is fabulous! I have separate accounts for work and personal. The only issue I have is that I have been overcharged and have to spend time to get a credit. 6 stars for the program.
Don’t use on iPad 1/5
By Jay Dee Ohh
Keeper asks me for my Keeper password every time I try logging on to an application on my iPad Pro. It works pretty well on my iPhone 10 and on Windows 10. I want to get my wife to use Keeper, but this is unacceptable. Keeper Support has ignored my emails on this and I am very frustrated.
Safe. Secure. Easy. 5/5
I have been through many password managers. I have finally found one that fills the bill. I have been using Keeper for a couple of months now and wonder how I got along before! Best app I’ve ever downloaded!!!
Great App 5/5
I have had this app for 4 years or longer. I have probably not being using to its full potential, but am starting to explore the many possibilities. I have (and will continue to) recommended this app to many of my friends and associates.
I just read a review from a user complaining about a couple of things which he should have known by common sense and reading the app’s documentation. The thing that bothers me most on negative reviews is that people go straight to the reviews or social media. I get that they are bothered by some aspect, but please, communicate with the companies first before voicing it on public venues.
I hate when companies rely on users to build traction and then bait and switch them with forced subscription price saying to protect their bottom line a.k.a. predictable revenue.
Great Product and Support. 5/5
Highly recommend. I have used for years now.
Watch out 1/5
Be careful....if you purchase app you will later be charged $9.99 for 10G of storage that you never purchased.
Also, I contacted keeper support and they said to get my money back I had to go through iTunes. I guess iTunes keeps the money.
So helpful! 5/5
Along with keeping my info private, I found support very helpful. I recently got a new phone that move to facial recognition. When I tried to open Keeper, I could not remember my password. After 5 attempts, I got locked out. Support was helpful it getting it all sorted out and now it works great! Thanks, Lynni!!!
i reset my password and it deleted everything 1/5
i reset my password twice and immediately after each it said it was incorrect and then deleted everything. useless.
Worth The Money 5/5
I’ve been using Keeper Data Vault for five years and I have to you it’s actually the password manager available. Yes, it cost $29.99 per year or depending what you purchase, but what do you spend on Starbucks per year? Keeper is an investment. Think then decide to buy it and try it. Mahalo

Be very careful when dealing with this app and company. In MY OPINION they are very untrustworthy and shady. They will misrepresented items and information in order to get your money and then activate a renew clause to acquire more of your money WITHOUT your explicit permission or authorization. Then they pass the “buck” by trying to say it’s “iTunes” responsibility to refund any money because the don’t have the ability to make refunds, but they sure get your money up front
Beware: My passwords are gone! 1/5
I’ve been using the “free” version of this app for almost a year so the trial was over awhile ago. Today, I was prompted to enter my master password and once I was logged in I realized that all of my passwords were deleted. I didn’t enter anything incorrectly, the app just erased my data. I’m not even going to bother contacting customer service. I’ll just find something else. This app is sketchy GARBAGE.
I hate this app 1/5
• I need to keep logging into the desktop app all throughout the day to be able to use the Safari extension. What’s the point?
• 2-factor authentication takes forever and fails every time.
• Passwords for websites which are already saved in Keeper are not always found. When I type it in and save it it creates unorganized duplicates in app. Horrible.
I’ve used it for years and I’m a paid subscriber. I don’t know why I haven’t looked into competitors. I don’t recommend.
Great product 5/5
Works fantastic I’ve never had issues. I have dozens amid passwords like everyone and I have them organized by certain parts of my academic, professional, personal, medical
Best Buy!! 5/5
With so many ID’s and passwords needed for every website you visit, this is the best way to keep track of your information! With the new improvements on this app, such as the auto-fill and Face ID, this app is the most important one I’ve got!
It’s well worth paying for the subscription and I would recommend it to anyone that is finding the management of their private information a challenge!!
Ransomware!! Beware 1/5
I used keeper for years for free. Then phone crashed and they are holding my passwords for ransom. Don’t get fooled!!!
I use this app several times a day. I am a lot more productivity bc I have too many passwords. Highly recommend.
Don’t get fooled it’s ransomware!! 1/5
I used their free trial and it was good. In fact I had 85 passwords stored then the app crashed. When I reinstalled app my “trial” period expired and I had to pay to get my passwords back. I couldn’t believe they were holding my info hostage. Going to 85 apps and updating new passwords took me forever. Any site that holds you hostage is called ransomware!!!!
Great Password Keeper 5/5
I use this app daily. It is easy to organize and simple to use.
Password Vault 5/5
Very easy to set up and use.
Love this app! 5/5
This app is a lifesaver and simple to use and syncs immediately with all my devices. In a world where we have to have tons of passcodes and keep them safe... Keeper is the best!
Left hanging #5 1/5
They keep erasing my reviews. Supreme Court has reached a decision regarding idiots like keeper;
Just found out that the Supreme Court has expanded user rights to directed a class action to Apple In stead of you idiots. So that means we can sue Apple for refunds and when the threshold is reached they will can you!
So far four of my reviews have been erased. Waiting for this one to go.
Long time user 5/5
I have tried a couple of others password managers and Keeper, to me, is the easiest, cleanest and safest of all.
By far the best and most important app of my iPhone.
Those people who complain because they don’t want to pay $30 per year of service don’t understand the benefit of having access to the passwords from any device/computer from anywhere, plus the family plan allows you to upload important documents.
Also Keeper is ISO 27001 certiffied.
Password keeping made easy 5/5
Works as advertised. I keep all of my passwords organized and up to date. Very easy app to use.
By the fitnessdoc305
I have used Keeper for over 7 years and it is one of the best investments made for my company to secure our systems.
Deleted all of my passwords 1/5
By Lauren K FL
I was a long time user and loved this app until I got a new phone. I had problems remembering my password as I had previously used the fingerprint scanner. I finally remembered it and started trying to use the face recognition scanner with it. On the first try it said that I had entered the wrong password and deleted all of my passwords. I am beyond mad. I had a ton of passwords now lost. I will be finding another app to use.
Creepy app 1/5
Makes you buy a subscription without your knowledge. You think you’re logging in with your thumbprint then realize you have purchased a subscription you don’t need.
The keeper is easy to use and convenient.
Great app 5/5
Never make the mistake of updating both your phone and your watch at the same time. Because even if you have the password you will get locked out. Because DNA two factor authentication is needed if enabled. And in order to get the two factor DNA authentication you have to open the Keeper app but In order to open the keeper app you need the two factor DNA authentication. And dealing with keepers CSR is the worse. Two email response to six email inquiries in six hours totally unacceptable. Issue still unresolved. So safe that if you get locked out you stay locked out. Unacceptable.
They will reap you off 1/5
If you want them to milk you of your money, they are one of the best! They will push you to pay for absolutely everything and they will do it regularly. And at the end they will block you so you will have no access to your own passwords.
If you like that, then good luck.
Have used this app for years 5/5
I started using Keeper at least 5 years ago and have never changed. I couldn’t function without it!
Locked Out and Forced to Pay 1/5
I have been using this app for years, and have really enjoyed its functionality and utility. A great password app all around. But recently, I was greeted with a *$30* paywall, that is now holding ALL my information hostage!! Yes that’s right. For access to MY OWN information, I am forced to pay $30 just to get to it. This is absolutely unacceptable. I will be writing this same review directly to the App Store folks at Apple, and demanding my information be turned over immediately. Ridiculous how a once-great app has become something completely unusable.
Passwords can be a pain 5/5
By sbell review
I have been using Keeper for years. I’m hooked!
Keeps crashing now 3/5
Been using this for about 6 months (we have a family acct)...no problems, just have to get used to the quirks of sharing items with my partner.
However, my Keeper app keeps crashing all of a sudden. I can log on fine but within 2-3 seconds it crashes and closes the app.
I have tried restarting my phone, checking for a new update, deleting the app and downloading it again...nothing. It has been about 1.5 weeks and very annoying since we rely on it so much.
So I have to get onto my laptop to access my Keeper account...this greatly decreases the convenience that was part of my subscription.
Please fix! Or advise me on how to troubleshoot this!!! I need convenient access to this.
There is no such thing as a free lunch 1/5
This app works fairly well. When I signed up for it it was free. Now when I went to use it I was shut out until I coughed up $30 for a year. Hardly what is advertised. There were no options offered such as contact us or talk with someone if you disagree with this. It was pay or go away.
I’m surprised Apple allows companies like this to do business on the Apple platform. This is truly a predatory business practice. Beware you have been warned.
It’s simply the best. No one who uses it could possibly say otherwise
Great App 5/5
I’ve used Keeper for many years. They have updated the app when needed. They have made it easy to use for just about anything you would want secure. I added my daughter on for obvious reasons and she loves it.
This is a great app.
Bad app 1/5
Keep trying to ge you to buy. If you don’t buy they erase your data. Beware do not use.
I have used the App for approx 6 years now and it has been seamless as to all avenues. I rely on it for all my sensitive passwords and or information I need readily at hand.
I did have one hiccup when transferring to a new I Phone, PLEASE always keep your Master password and 2 factor authentication somewhere handy as it will come in handy. The support team ROCKS!!!! They were lightning quick. The “go to” person is Ting Ting, she’s brilliant!
Love love love 5/5
By BA from Arkansas
Now I can keep up with everything in one place. And it works
Don’t use one password for everything. That is a critical mistake for a lot of people. By using this app, you will not worry about losing or forgetting your passwords. Between work and home I have the potential for dozens of passwords. Have family, share Keeper with them to stop the constant question, “What’s the password?” You’ll thank me later, but get this app now! Don’t forget your Keeper PW though!
This is a really great app!
I have used it 9 years. I switch between my phone and iPad. I have never had one have had one problem.
Keeper user 5/5
I have been using Keeper on my iPhone for over 8 years now and love the ability to keep all my user names and passwords secure and in one place!!!
I use it weekly for passwords I even put my wife’s passwords into it as she always forgets or misplaced them as she created passwords.
I just renewed my Keeper and it’s well worth the money and their support is top notch!
