Auto updates homepage 4/5
By BeBopLives
I liked it when I pulled down on homepage using iPad to update. Now I will read an article and go to research it and when I return to respond the article is gone…this happens daily. Why not let us ask for newer articles when we are ready?

Can’t send messages half the time or it just crashes. Paying for LinkedIn Premium and the app is a distaster.

Ad restrictions in the latest update 3/5
By Mike J P
Like other apps, LinkedIn has its host of corporate advertisers. Prior to the latest update, you could always request to “hide” certain ads. Though the app didn’t always adhere to this feature, it at least gave you temporary relief from the same ads appearing in your feed over and over again. In the latest update, the ability to hide ads has been removed. Ad preferences also limits your ability to restrict ads based on people or organizations that you follow. I suspect that ad blocking will become a feature that you’ll have to pay for. Other than that, the app is decent.
Hashtag Bug 1/5
By A Fan of Housr
Every time I click on a hashtag it only shows me Spanish posts. Although I am bilingual, why are the only posts be shown to Spanish?
App, especially messaging, is super buggy 2/5
By Brandmore
Messaging often freezes and terminates for no reason. Difficult to use. My guess is they want to push customers to use web based, but I’m on my phone 80-90% of the time. Really frustrating, especially when I’m paying a lot to use the platform. Rethinking that.
App functionality 2/5
By DTB22
I have had repeated problems saving and unsaving jobs in the app, hopefully there is a bug fix on the way.
Buggy 3/5
By Chefapk
Not sure what is going on with the app
But the messenger is not working well
Type a message and it won’t send or sends the message multiple times and also messages don’t show up and app shuts down while typing a message.

The app and website are ALWAYS failing and very glitchy. Messenger doesn’t work on my phone at all either. For sure the worst app I’ve ever used in my life.
Problem 3/5
By Sonya Morgan
I haven’t changed anything on my iPhone and I can’t open LinkedIn. What would cause that??
A few UI issues 2/5
By EmmyL28
I pay for linkedin premium, thus I have little tolerance for a sub-optimal experience. First, the linkedin news article is always cut off on iOS and there is no obvious way to view the whole article. Then there is the job search feature - this needs a major overhaul all the way down to the algorithm. Example: I’m sick of seeing general counsel jobs when I have hidden close to 1,000 jobs with that title (I do not have a JD and have no interest the legal realm). Moreover, I should NOT have to hide 100s of the same job because a single job is posted to countless cities. Also, why isn’t there an exclude option that works the same as the filtering feature; alternatively, add a “not listed” option for each filter as this would allow for some degree of refined results when the job poster leaves a field blank. The inability to search multiple geographies is a bit ridiculous as well. Again, I’m a premium user, so I expect a decent experience.
Update messed up the expansion of opportunity 2/5
By oplhi
The app would ask about past jobs an try to give a job that’s in the same experience, an that’s lame because it lowers the opportunity for a new fresh job experience really hope they fix this.

Broken scroll for job postings 1/5
By rus_sel
The first app I have ever used that can’t even manage scrolling. It just hangs, doesn’t respond, or decides you want to perform some illogical action to items in the list. Seriously send this app back to your UX team.
Worthless Widget 2/5
By Andy in SATX
The last couple of updates made the “Who has viewed your profile?” Worthless.
Previously, the widget provided a name and face. Currently, it only shows, someone from X industry or school. Upon further review, this was someone from the most recent five that has dropped out of the most recent five.
Not only does this mean the widget hides who it is but it’s not even recent views.
Why would anyone do this? No need to keep the widget. 🤷🏻♂️

Billing 1/5

LinkedIn has repeatedly attempted to bill me for their premium membership. I do not wish to be part of this. I have seen no contact for customer service to discuss this issue. Let me assure you that if LinkedIn attempts to bill me for premium membership, I will seek legal action

Garbage trash app with trash devs 1/5
By Not a Demorat
Bugged, shows me 3 week old job postings, spams ads when I search, misleading me into believing there are current openings, shows me 1+ month old network updates (missed events, way too late), shows me random user profiles when I click on “recommended” companies to follow, ads have no free option and limited to 20 applicants (lol?), and it’s full of Facebook-like spam; not to mention, linkedin propagandists promote - routine - politically biased content. Nobody cares about your immoral political beliefs (unless they themselves are also immoral).
Indeed is better.

Feed sort in app 1/5

Disappointing that LI won’t create an option for the app to sort the Feed by ‘Most Recent’ (chronological). I’ve seen so many posts, online searches for this functionality, but it falls on deaf ears at LI support.
Can’t Do a Simple Job Search 1/5
By uvd!38.
This app is useless it cannot do a simple job search for a position without pulling up completely unrelated positions such as a team member at Arby’s or a sales associate at Walmart. Not really sure how you can mess up what should be the most basic and core function of the app for people, but you did just that. Bravo
Messaging 2/5
By C405
I use LinkedIn daily. But the app function on this latest update bugs out every time I use it. In the messaging portal when I try to message someone it kills the app. Would rate rate if this didn’t happen literally every time.
Poor App Performance 1/5

I cant send messages on iPhone!
it’s really buggy lately 2/5
By Snowflakesmom
I use both the iPad and iPhone apps many times a day. Normally, they work great. But not this week.
I’m constantly engaging with connections. The messenger part of the app is super buggy right now.
In the past week or so, I’m having constant problems. Messages don’t send or send twice, the app crashes multiple times in a session. The send button on the messages is blank. Messages take forever to open.
Comments don’t always post. The app is crashing in the middle of me writing a comment. Sometimes I can’t tag people in comments.
I tried to post today and add copy in the alt tag for an image. The app would not let me paste in content from my clipboard.
This app is so essential to my daily workflow, I really hope developers fix these bugs soon.
Doesn't care about customer data and privacy 1/5
By Sftasy
I only want my 1st degree connection to view my profiles, but there is no such a setting to allow me to do that. I am constantly bothered by strangers saying that I they viewed my profile and want to connect. Does LinkedIn ever cares about customer's privacy?

Not functional 1/5
By Nae109268
Horrible app. I have to sign in each time I open the app and it tells me I can’t due to a two point verification issue even though I verify correctly. Once I get in, the app does not fit my screen and I’m unable to click any of my account information at the top, switch to my work account or use the search bar. It’s completely unusable for me.
what a joke 1/5
By Kish816
downloaded the app to find a job and it does everything except that. The UI is completely abysmal and every job i apply to on this app i never hear back from. Just downloaded indeed or job search in person.
Dysfunctional 2/5
By clydetron
App is okay overall, but has numerous glitches. Example: Second step of the ‘add hiring banner’ process asks one for an email but there is simply a white screen with no field to input an email, no next button, etc. Your app should not offer to place these banners if it does not work properly so one can complete the process. I want my five minutes back.
FIX THE MESSAGING 1/5
By Smohara226
LinkedIn is made for messaging, it’s the WHOLE POINT of connecting.
Yet the app version Crashes every time I open a message, and super long load times. Can’t send a single message without the app crashing 4 or 5 times.
The latest update removed the “curious” emoji. 1/5
By Bonividi
LinkedIn latest “update” removed the “curious” emoji. Guess the last vestiges of a disagreement is slowly getting removed and replaced by absolute obedience, eventually, of “premier creators” posts. That is the Twitter way and will soon be the LI way.
Filled with scams 1/5
By bambicara
incredibly disappointing. you will only be bothered by fake posts, fake accounts, and scammers trying to take advantage of people who really need jobs. it’s disgusting.
linkedin seems to not be doing anything about this massive increase of rampant cons. no quality control or security of the legitimate users.
don’t even bother.

iOS crashes constantly 1/5
By cadkins45
I formerly used this app for years on Android seamlessly. Recently I have switched to iPhone and the iOS version and the amount of crashes makes it nearly unusable. Anytime I am in the middle or writing long messages in DM the app will randomly shut down without warning and I have to reload and rewrite entire messages only to have it happen once again. Every function is incredibly slow and buggy. I find it odd that this is the only app I’ve used that performs exponentially worse on iOS than on Android. Please fix these issues!

Too much scam and spam from India folks 2/5
By CaliChick00
LinkedIn is riddled with scammers with Indian profiles. They send messages claiming to offer project management certification; however they ask for your email, phone, or whats app number. The profiles are mostly fake and the messages are poorly written. I report the scam however it doesn't seem to be doing any good. I'm hardly on LinkedIn anymore. Between narcissists, fake heroes, and scammers, the platform has gone downhill. I guess I'll go back on hibernate.
