LinkedIn app reviews

  • Bugs 3/5

    By Dani Springer Musical Artist
    - Can’t control notifications properly. Some aren’t mutable. - Tapping on profile links in about section crashes the app every time. Update: now it seems like it won’t crash, but tapping me on view doesn’t open the URL. - Unfollowing doesn’t unfollow. Reopening the “following” page shows “unfollowed” users, which in reality are still followed.
  • Por favor quisiera que me reembolsaran el dinero 1/5

    By jenbrivi1511
Buenas tardes. Por requiero que me sea devuelto del dinero que se produjo de esta compra. No encuentro cómo solicitar el reembolso
  • How do I share my profile? 3/5

    By Marisa17M
Why isn’t this the easiest thing in the world to do? When I search the help forums, they just tell me about the desktop application. I want to know how to share my profile from a mobile device. Horrible UX/UI design.
  • Crashing? 2/5

    By KewlRNDude
App recently keeps crashing just when I get to an article I want to read. Very frustrating.
  • Another FB group 3/5

    By trust but varify
Just remember work history and profile informative have not been verified! Many people put college and degree profiles, beware ! Not true! People who provide false information should be scored as unable to validate! Un trusted profiles! Let’s score people !
  • Doesn’t work 1/5

    By Pvrtkr
Keeps saying I have no new, new connection requests, messages, or jobs
  • Latest version keeps crashing on iPhone X 3/5

    By Sooban
The latest version hangs more often than not. Overall, good for a professional social network and keeping in touch with coworkers that you do not want on other social networks. Ever since they moved jobs into a separate app, this seems fragmented and less useful unless u use it to increase ur prof network
  • Thanks 5/5

    By Норм игра...
    Works after update finally. thanks
  • Much improved after reinstalling 4/5

    By InformedCOreader
After my review below, I received a note from app support to uninstall and reinstall the app. Indeed, LinkedIn is much more responsive now ( though still laggy about loading articles) ------ So unbelievably slow, an exercise in futility. I had falsely assumed this app would let me access LinkedIn easily, but that is not so. I should not be able to pull espresso shots between page loads.
  • Cannot Clear out notifications section 3/5

    By tivline1982
Every time I delete a notification, it comes back.
  • Terrible app 1/5

    By SFExpress
Slow to open. Constant interruptions and pop ups.
  • Hurts your career 1/5

    By Integrity Review
LinkedIn crams so much garbage into the feed: ads, click bait, up sells, Lynda classes that will be a red flag on your resume—it all gets in the way of connecting with your business contacts. Really toxic and user-hostile. Did you know every like spams your contacts, announcing you have nothing better to do? LinkedIn’s responses here are empty appreciation/not sorry, dismiss as feedback, or divert to a link. Edit: called it!
  • Freezing a lot 1/5

    By Omer1278
What the hell did you do with the app. It is freezing alot. I try to kill the app and launch it again but it freezes all the time
  • Unsolicited ads 3/5

    By PS Lighting Guy
Please give us the ability to block companies that continually send us their ads. I get hammered by Chinese lighting companies who ignore my responses for not sending me their ads. I’m very close to closing my account just because of this.
  • CRASHES, NOT SMART, and BUGS WHEN SENDING REQUESTS 1/5

    By Mivanows
It constantly crashes. It keeps trying to add my contacts all the time even after run it for a few times. After sending a request it goes to the same list as over and over.
  • Constantly crashing 1/5

    By Rich in Texas
I am a recruiter, and access to my network is extremely important to me. Unfortunately, the app freezes and crashes every time I try to open it from my iPhone X.
  • Cannot post or search from App 1/5

    By jluphl
Could not post from App. Able to type some text and upload a photo, but not able to add a link. Additionally, the “Post” button is grayed out, so I could not post the info. Search function doesn’t work either. I searched myself, a page I manage, and another page I follow. App could not find any of them.
  • Linked In 5/5

    By TheVeryBestOfIt
    Slightly confuzzling, but yeah
  • Contact list 1/5

    By edgewalker5
If I read this correctly: When i accept a new contact, the list of contacts on my iPhone is provided to the new accepted contact and all his Linkedin contacts . If this means my personal private iPhone contact list is downloaded, this is not acceptable. Comments:
  • Messaging 1/5

    By Rock Hill Reader
Messaging function does not work in the latest version of the I-phone app.
  • Glitch after glitch after glitch 2/5

    By Arjun Singh Raleigh
Personally, it’s exciting to connect with other professionals...but with 10:1072 ratio of glitches, it poses a problem for people who want to actually enjoy the experience. Subpar experience
  • Upgrade to Premium on Mobile doesn’t work 1/5

    By jonny88
I’ve upgraded to premium using Apple Pay on mobile and it says I have it. I’ve been charged but I’m not receiving premium benefits. And it says “sign up for premium” and I click it and it says “you already have premium”. Ugh. And there is no support or help articles on the topic.
  • Great, but... 4/5

    By dcb651
I can’t change the language settings in the app! It appears the app has defaulted to my iPhone language preference. Ugh!!!!
  • Crashes in messages 4/5

    By Drick077
Thanks for the app. The latest version crashes when opening a new message. There is no issue with existing old messages and they can be opened easily.
  • Awesome 5/5

    By 24/7 gO
Best network to improve & grow
  • Too aggressively advertising 1/5

    By sehrrot
I don’t know why they advertise so frequently
  • New update app crashes have been fixed 4/5

    By 13243546758
This was a good app until the update. Now it crashes every time I try and open the app. Update: LinkedIn responded and fixed the problem, the app doesn't crash and opens normally.
  • Guys you are not listening 1/5

    By Fahed Hassan
No matter how hard we try to Communicate with you by email or website or application review ... the developer of the app is closed ears THE APP CRASH ALWAYS WHEN WE TRY TO SPPLY FOR A JOB , in the middle of the job application, always
  • Hasn’t worked for months!! 1/5

    By Lleevvoo11
This app hasn’t worked for me in months. So frustrating. Log on with username and password and it just “says something went wrong, it’s us not you, try again later”
  • Terrible!!! 1/5

    By Jon smith401
The steal of your contacts without you knowing!! You hit okay to the messages on startup and they steal all of your personal information.
  • No Phone Number 1/5

    By KC20132017
It is unbelievable and ridiculous that LinkedIn does not have a customer support phone number. Online support is a poor substitute. Surprising that LinkedIn of all places would shy away from talking to a real person.
  • Stop bugging me 2/5

    By BrianSpears
“6 people viewed your profile” That’s the notification I get on my phone. Why do I care? Why do you interrupt what I’m doing to give me this pointless update? So I log in and you get more advertising dollars? I already pay you, respect my time.
  • Business Spam Central at your service! 1/5

    By Tinkabout
I’ve been on LinkedIn since launch and the last couple of years have really gone downhill. I value business people and the knowledge they have to share but at this point I’m about done with it. I get so much spam email from users who farmed my addresses that I spend hours opting out and sending unnecessary “Remove Me” replies to idiots who illegally use my data from LinkedIn. I’ve had to shut down accounts and my blacklist has thousands of addresses on it that I’m actively blocking... DONE DONE DONE!
  • Skills & Endorsements Section Error 1/5

    By TAD_West
Since last week I couldn’t upload the resume nor the Skills & Endorsement Section due to a submission error on my IPhone nor IPad, via the app or browser, today I decide to try on the desktop. Well I was able to update the resume via desktop computer. The skills section that we’re giving me the previous errors via the app I guess did save despite error message. However, I noticed I still had 8 skills I could add, well it appears there’s just an overall error in this section. I’m currently receiving a similar error in saving on the desktop computer. I’ve logged in/out & it DID NOT save. I’ve taken a picture of the desktop error, and do not have the patience to attempt this on my phone at this time. #FRUSTRATED
  • Needs to have endorsements available on app 3/5

    By KmSS42
Endorsements can only be made on a desktop computer, please make them available via mobile device
  • Something changed... 3/5

    By 500cid
App worked great until recently, now I have to uninstall and reinstall once a week... not sure what’s happening with that.
  • Not easy to use 1/5

    By DaniMac2011
You can’t do too much on the app. The upgrade is expensive and I doubt it would be worth it. It’s not easy to apply for jobs unless you can apply directly through LinkedIn but most jobs don’t allow you to do that. You get tons of notifications for people’s birthdays. This isn’t Facebook; I don’t care when it’s a connection’s birthday or when they have a job anniversary.
  • 100% Broken App, So Long So Ridiculous 1/5

    By trojmor
I've tried this app for well over 100 times over the last couple of years or more. It NEVER worked, always gave the "no internet connection" error even when on fully working fast wifi, fully updated iOS, brand new iPhone . I kept hoping they'd update the app with a fix. Never happened . Finally deleting it today. So ridiculous for major networking app.
  • Bad at everything but wasting time 1/5

    By quibbler
LinkedIn is the Facebook of the professional workforce; it tries to be all things to all people and as a result, does very little well.
  • Crashes 1/5

    By Thalesian
The app crashes every time I click on my profile picture in the upper right to go to settings. ##Update I followed the developer’s advice. It didn’t work - reinstallation of the app didn’t change anything, app still crashes when I access my profile or settings.
  • The news feed is garbage 2/5

    By B00K0F
I’m constantly seeing posts and articles and ads I’ve seen a dozen times or more. I shouldn’t be seeing posts that are 2 weeks old, talking about things that have since passed. Hiding annoying, repetitive ads does nothing to change the feed either, so you’re stuck looking at the same ad until LinkedIn moves on. LinkedIn itself is great but its app is terrible.
  • Terrible asks for verification and email reset repeatedly 1/5

    By papayagirl18
Very hard to log in and the app crashes and then asks for repeated verification
  • iPhone 8 iOS 11 the aap never works 1/5

    By Tam11111111
The app worked really good on Pre iOS 11. It is always stuck on iPhone 8 and iOS 11.
  • Time waster 1/5

    By N/A 1234
Tool for self promoters and wasting time. Unfortunately this is an app that is designed to capture as much attention as possible, regardless of their impact on users quality of life. #AttentionEconomy #AddictionByDesign #TimeWellSpent #HumaneTech #Fail
  • Update 5/5

    By Chicitysouthside
The Dev's fixed the constant crashing when opening the app on iOS 9.0.2 works perfectly fine now
  • Won’t load 1/5

    By Lrob_23
Woad load feed. Doesn’t work on WiFi or Verizon LTE. Only started happening recently
  • App crashes at startup 5/5

    By Jalty120345
Most recent update; June 28, 2018 fixed crashing issue for iPhone 4s. Excellent!
  • Can biometric authentication be added? 5/5

    By mgmiller68
I love the app, use it very often, would be so helpful if the developers can add biometric authentication for logging in via either Face ID or fingerprint — Can this please be added?
  • Performance 2/5

    By Tutorial 1
I like this product and use it all the time for making connections, but over the last two years I’m surprised by how bad the engineering quality of the iOS app has become. In this update I could tell the cells in the news feed got a nice redesign but the scrolling experience becomes even worse than before, my screen could literally freeze for a half second when scrolling up and down. However I had experienced worse bug before that it didn’t allow me to pay for subscription, and comparing to that this is nothing. I just feel sad for your guys.
  • Recent Changes Render IPad 2 version Unusable 1/5

    By New bingo
I have loved LinkedIn on my IPad for years. I pay for premium and find great value in the platform. Recently I started experiencing crashing. I rebooted the Ipad, no luck. I uninstalled it. No luck. I reset all my IPad settings to factory settings. No luck. Now it is unusable and I have nowhere to turn for help.
