    I’ve used this app for many years, and it defiantly comes in handy and works very well, however, I think some change need to be made so it doesn’t promote unhealthy habits. As someone recovering from an eating disorder, I was SHOCKED when the app suggested I eat 700 calories a day. This is absolutely asinine and not healthy at all. Please fix this. A starvation diet is NOT the way to lose weight.

    Great app! Needs flexibility on amounts of food taken. Instead of # of servings — oz or grams or cups. Would be nice to know what a serving measures. Need to correct or delete my recipes.

    First off I wanna say I love this app it has really helped me lose weight by tracking and being aware of what I eat and how active I am! That being said lately it’s been kind of buggy. Not sure how to explain what happens but will try and hope it makes sense, but when I click on something say to enter my food it will pop up and then go away before I have the chance to write anything so I’ll have to click the plus sign again. Also, I used to be able to keep adding my food to my meal and then when I was finished hit done on the top right side. But as of today, 1/16,19, I’ll add a food and then the search menu will close. So now I have to open it again to add the next thing and it closes and I have to keep doing that Over and over until I’m done and it’s really inconvenient. I really believe it’s just a bug that should be looked into, I use this all day long so please please look into it. Not sure if anyone else has complained about this so just wanted to make you guys aware. Besides that I love how easy this app makes it to track my food. I was this close👌🏼 to downloading and paying for weightwatchers right when I found this and I’m so glad i did. So thanks to the people who made this app possible and made my life and weight loss journey that much easier! But please fix the bugs 😅😅😅

    I notice that when you record your weight loss or even weight gain it decreases the weight far below the daily recommended, which my nutritionist advised against. So I still continue to eat between 1200 & 1400 calories a day. The counter currently wants me to eat 1150 calories.

    I really like this app but there are so many food item choices on the log that are totally incorrect. Example... something like regular butter is logged as having no fat or calories. There are five choices of regular butter. Three of them may say no fat no calories. Or n/a in all of the nutrient lines. You have to go through all of them to see what is true. If you don’t really know, than you may end up picking one that inaccurate and log your calories and nutritional intake incorrectly.

    I wanted to revamp my eating lifestyle, and LoseIt was the main tool I used to do so. The food database wasn't amazing, but with immediate access to food history it very quickly becomes an easy process to log each day. It's also community based, so it’s getting better. It's just a really straightforward, convenient log for food and weight, and if you use it constantly, as immediately as possible, adding EVERYTHING regardless what or what size - it's on your phone, and doesn't take more time or energy than sending a text-it will help you. With long enough use you'll become more conscientious about your eating habits, and healthier as a result. I tried premium for a bit back in 2016 and while some aspects were useful you're not missing a ton without it. I know the challenges have become premium only, which is sad since they were a fun way to get more involved with the app, but they were also a bit limited, and inessential. Tl:Dr, I lost all my goal weight using this app in a straightforward, not too time-intensive way.

    It’s 2019. My husband is a website developer. We played with this stupid app for an hour attempting to add recipes. Add food items that I actually eat. To no avail. I probably would have updated if the basics worked. Your loss. I’ll find another app.

    I loved it at first, would break down my day with carbs, protein and fat. Then I noticed it kept crashing loosing my progress then today it decided, nah we won’t break your day down anymore unless you pay, back to fitnesses pal. They ACTUALLY let you use their app for free!

    Last year I lost 30 pounds on Weight Watchers. I stopped doing it after I reached my goal and gained back half the weight I lost. My New Years resolution was to start back eating healthy. I read about this free app and decided to try it. I LOVE this app. I log in everything I put in my mouth. I scan the barcodes and select my serving size and add it to my day. So far I have lost 4.5 pounds in 15 days. I know that tracking what I eat has played a major role in my weight loss and I am so glad I decided to try this app and have recommended it to my family and friends as well.

    One of my favorite parts of lose it app is how you can scan each item since that will give you the most accurate calories (almost every food had a barcode even sometime produce). The charts and weekly totals are also super helpful. Having your friends on there also keeps everyone cheering for each other and accountable. Use it or ya might not lose it!

    This Lose It app has been the BEST tool imaginable for me and my weight loss. I needed to be nudged and I still need daily reminders. I’m 53 and have never tried to lose weight or been on a diet.     I had gained weight, due to aging, and couldn’t seem to lose it. I tried several apps/programs, and lost nothing, or lost a little, then gained it back. Lose It is the only thing that worked for me. The calorie intake seems to be calculated much more accurately than other programs, and the database of foods is far more comprehensive. If you’re almost ready to give up on weight loss, please try this app. It really does work.

    I had hoped this would be better then the other apps but not the case. Trying to scan food almost never resulted in a match. It was too much work to keep this app up to date and I only had the basic feature cause I was not paying for the pro level. I went back to the other app I used before.

    I do you like this app for the most part. Everything works the way it supposed to except for reading my Fitbit. When I sync my Fitbit it say it’s working correctly but it’s not reading all my steps or my calories burned after exercise. Even when I force sync the app still isn’t Fitbit correctly. Then when I manually put in my exercise it’s still zero exercise for the day and I notice some date won’t stay. For instance I manually put the steps in for the 13th of January but the app just sent me a notification saying I entered no steps for that day. I had to go in and put them again. It’s not fun putting things in twice. I definitely will not buy premium if it can’t keep simple data entered like steps or record exercises.
