A game that keeps me thinking. Not your typicall phone app game. It helps keep me sharp, mentally.
Daily Brain Challenge 5/5
I love the variety and feedback of the games, the emphasis isn’t on speed, it’s prioritizing What to Focus How Why based on how effective they were case by case!
Keeps charging even after cancelled 1/5
I’ve cancelled auto-renewal several times and then get notice a year later it’s auto-renewed and there’s no way to cancel (again) and get refund. There is, in fact, no actual cancellation option. The business model is a scam, be sure not to engage auto-renewal.
Please release all my games 1/5
I paid for the year and need you to release all new games I paid 2 days ago

Want to delete and I can 5/5
I haven’t used it yet, but I want to delete it; I touch the figure on my screen, appears the little cross in a circle , I keep my finger on it but never shows the sign that asks if I want to delete Lumosity.
All the other things that I want to delete I do it that way, what is happening that I can now?
THEY CHARGE FOR EVERYTHING 1/5
You can play like 3 free games. Literally you have to pay $60 for the rest of the 50 games. It’d have lots of potential if there was better free opportunities.
I like this app because... 5/5
This app helped me feel less stressed and more focused. It is a wonderful thing that will help you be more aware of things.

Best Game ever 5/5
I love this thing! It changed me in so many ways, I know my weakness and strength now, my math skills became better, I used to be so slow in doing things now I am faster because I played many speed games that were in the daily exercise. I do it every morning and it makes me feel like I did one accomplishment or something. It just so satisfying. You should download it now!
I love it!it can keep track of what you do and a great way 4/5
By I love it or i hate it
I love it!it can keep track of what you do and a great Way to have fun while learning! Although I do wish you could play more than 3 games a day without membership its still a good app worth the storage! I love luminosity!☺️
Fun Brain Training 5/5
Great way to keep brain healthy.
Worst app/ company 1/5
By Lande's Phone
I have been trying to cancel my subscription because I feel I was falsely given information before signing up that stated I could cancel anytime. I want to cancel right now and can’t even find/ get access anywhere to do this. How do I cancel my subscription ASAP and also stop auto renewal. Auto renewal was another thing that wasn’t made clear before I signed up. Would not recommend this app to anyone. I am a disgruntled customer that is desperately wanting to get out.
Tutorials are confusing 4/5
I’m new to this. I signed up because I thought it would help my memory. Some of the games do seem to help-I can feel my brain working. But some of the instructions are confusing. For example, in the Feed the Fish game, you are supposed to feed each fish just once by tapping it. But many times the game doesn’t respond on the first tap, so you end up feeding them more than once, or you don’t know how many times you’ve fed them. With the moving leaf game, the instructions are to swipe in the direction the orange leaves are floating. I did so, but then the leaves turned to green. It didn’t say to swipe for the green leaves, so I kept waiting for more orange to appear, only to find I was missing points because suddenly we were supposed to swipe for the green. I’m just doing the free version so I’ll see how it goes. So far I’ve had to replay that day’s games before I really understand how they are played. I may end up deleting the app out of frustration.
I’m 11 the title says 4 and up I put in my age and it didn’t let me FIX THIS
Free part 5/5
I’m only evaluation the free version of this app. It’s a really great app for overall brain warmup in the mornings.
Games don’t change unless your mood does 3/5
After having this app for years it’s generally been great. No bugs, new games added. But I’ve notice that unless your mood/sleep combo changes...you end up being given the same 6 games every time. I get it’s a free app but you’re burning people out for not having a change in life. Be that change and help out
Love it. 5/5
I enjoy this site daily with the three free games. There’s three different ones each day and I can play them as often as I like. It’s just the right amount of a daily challenge and I can take it with me on my phone or use my desktop computer thank you for this
I saw my focus improve immediately. I can multi-task with so much more confidence now!! And I’m beginning to trust my memory a little more each day.
Comparative index not clear 3/5
Love the app.HOWEVER The indices and scores are not clear and make one feel confused about the score’s implications. Seems potentially damaging to score a person’s intelligence (at least that’s the perception) without giving more of an explanation.
I really love Lumosity!
Ok game 2/5
By center fix
This game looked interesting and I got it only to realized that every day I can only play 3 games on the FREE version out of about 50. This wastes my time. I just want a game that allows me to learn and play whatever game I want. With the 3 free games you can play them as many times as you want but it eventually gets boring.
It is so difficult to find enough time to get through some of the more challenging games. Often I am partway through and have to pause it for later in the day. Invariably, when I come back, it wants to start the entire session over.
That is so frustrating, that I usually just close it and go on to something else.
Please, please, PLEASE! Fix it so that it saves your place within a game!
If it weren’t for that, it would have five stars from me.
The age thing is lying 1/5
By Estrella Alvarez
I was setting up an account with my dad and the Lumosity age recommendation says 4+ I am way older than four but I am not 18 yet I put my birthday and now it won’t let me make an account 😤
Tutorial way too confusing or doesn’t work 1/5
Tried the train of thought tutorial and it completely ignores any switch selection. Kinda frustrating for a game that’s supposed to help me get my focus when all it did was raise my blood pressure.
Description in App Store is misleading 2/5
I downloaded this app because I enjoy brain teasers and I found the interphase very user friendly, however, had I known that only 3 games would be available in the free version per day, and that you’d have to pay $12 a month to access really all of the other games, I would have never downloaded. 3 games only is not enough for a person to judge if they enjoy this app enough to consider purchasing... and the cost is probably higher than most people are willing to pay with so many other options out there. Description should give more on what is contained in the free version, or create a completely free version and a “pro version” that would disclose upfront the cost. I’ve deleted and looked for another.

Great training for the brain
Love Lumosity-$ well spent 5/5
Lumosity offers special deals now and then so it’s not really that expensive. It has helped me sooooo much with name recall, fast calculations and improved my attention. Games are challenging and entertaining while they train your brain to work faster and more efficiently. Watch for the deals they offer. Well worth the money. My kids enjoy it too and it has helped with school.
It was difficult to play new games, but I got through them! S Kraker 4/5
Free version useless 1/5
The paid version of this app is great, if you can afford $12/mo. The free version is terrible and made me decide to delete the app, I paid for a few months and when I decided to try the free version the total lack of games available made me not want to support their app at all. There are apps that do the same thing for a fraction of the price and are better overall. No need to waste your money here.
Charged the full year without knowing it. 2/5
I have liked Lumosity and their 3 free games. I paid for a year one time so I could have unlimited usage. I used to work in the brain training field and would refer clients to this site all the time. I still do when people find out what I did and ask me for suggestions on how to help get over their learning disability.
Recently they had a free two week trial that was fun but I realized that I’m in a different stage of life with 3 young kids and I never used it to its advantage. Then they automatically signed me up for another year. I understand that I needed to cancel, but it’s one thing to charge me month by month and another to charge me for the year! I’m really mad as I don’t have $60 to spend on this and I can’t get a refund! I need to pay bills, not play Lumosity for a year. 😡 I feel taken advantage of and do not trust the company anymore. There are other sites for brain training that I will now use and refer people too.
Fountain of Youth 5/5
By Arlene Doll
I enjoy Luminosity because each exercise strengthens my memory and response time as well as my dexterity. I am 70 look 60 but feel 40 these skill sets help me stay young .... I am grateful!
By Little One's Mom
I enjoy playing, that’s all, I just have a good time. There is a good variety in activities and in skills required. I have my favorites, but all the games seem helpful. I am 81 years old with an alert, active mind. I don’t know if Luminosity has contributed but I suspect it has. I know plan to continue playing most days.
This app is great except for 1 thing 3/5
I like using this app for brain game and stuff like that but the one thing I wish that they would change is to my the subscription cheaper because I don’t have a lot of money and I want to get the subscription, so basically if they they made that cheaper I’d give it a five stars
By hayden tran 123
I love ❤️ it it helps me train my brain 🧠
Lots of fun games! 5/5
Just downloaded the app and have already found quite a few enjoyable games!
Great games for adults and children 5/5
I would recommend this “game” for children over the age of 8. My grands love it, maybe not the games I love, but the ones that they can play. I love playing it, some over and over!
A treasure 4/5
By CJB DRB
I’m a GBM survivor and had lost a few crucial skills as a result but Lumosity has helped me to be more efficient in connecting the dots, so to speak. I have played every day for the past4 years...I love this app, encourage everyone I know to use it...and wouldn’t want to be without it!
Super annoying 2/5
I know you are eager for money, who isn’t? But it’s so annoying!! It’s like as soon as you enter a shop, the shop assistant can’t wait selling you something, then you have to say:
I’m not gonna buy it.
Love the concept.. hate the “premium” 3/5
You have to buy a subscription just to get the insights on how much progress you’ve made, and create a profile for yourself. And you’re only aloud 3 lessons, because the other 2 are blocked unless you get premium. And you’re only limited to the 3 games a day they let you play, and the app tells you which ones you get to play that day. You can’t play any other games but those 3. Everything is so goddamn limited that I’m looking for another app that’ll give me something similar without all the restrictions this app has. Lumosity has potential, but when you restrict is so much, nobody wants to give it the time of day. I’m not paying $12 a month for it, nor will I pay $60 for a whole year of it. People don’t just have that money lying around.
Won’t even let me sign up. Waste of time.
Worth Playing for a Few Minutes 3/5
One must purchase the premium package in order to gain access to other games. Three games are available in the free version and those same games were used in the testing trial.
Must train up 5/5

Great games to sharpen your brain in a fun way
Why can’t you turn off sound?!?! 5/5
I otherwise like Lumosity but it is so so irritating there’s no option to turn off sound within the game on the iPhone. Every other game I play has this option—does Lumosity think this is somehow a feature and not a bug?
Really Helping 5/5
By Doc Solitaire
Now that I’ve turned 60, I want to retain a sharp mind! I believe Luminosity is helping me to achieve that!!!
Fun and productive 5/5
Fun games that really test multiple parts of the mind.
Horrible app now. Company is not what it used to be. Mines data. Sells data. Excludes users who attempt to register multiple email addresses. (Basically anybody it thinks is trying to let more than one person use the app)... I do not recommend. Also they stopped offering lumiKids and offered zero explanation as to why. Well I'll tell you. It's because they can't cash in on mining childrens' data legally.
They only want money. Don’t get fooled.
By Hot Cold Country
Use of Lumosity has been for the purpose of strengthening the brain function. Playing the game over several weeks indicates it is helping improve these skills.
This app😔🙄 1/5
I never write reviews but this app has me MAD it would be an amazing app but..... nothing is free Mabey like two or three little brain teasers but that it
