I love this game but it is really really hard .... I like this game like I like my crush
  • Needs to be free! 2/5

    By Smurrgod3
Lumosity does have great exercise games that start your brain for a day. And I kinda like it that there are random free games every day. But there is just one problem. Everyday there are new randomized games which are pretty fun. But I have played Lumosity for some time and I have realized something. Everyday I always see the exact same games like the ones yesterday. I don’t have names for the game but I’ll just describe them. These games include the train game, ocean memorizing game, middle bird swiping game, and the memorizing shape game. This gets really annoying to me cuz I just do the exact same thing everyday. Imagine if at recess you could only play kick ball everyday. That would get annoying. What I’m saying is that there are to many games that get repeated and there should be random ones every day. Then after all the games were played go back to the start. Pretty simple right? Well apparently not for Lumosity Not only is the daily games annoying but the subscription are annoying. Lately lots of games or apps phage added this thing called a subscription. It’s fully free when you buy it but in 30 days you get charged let’s day 10 dollars. I get that some games and apps need to make money but the subscription doesn’t fit with Lumosity. Lumosity has tons of great games I would love to play. Like there is this coffee one which looks really hard but it would be good for my brain. And there’s this tower one now that looks awesome. I don’t get my brain started when I just play 3 games and just quit I want to actually test it and play let’s say 6 every day. I’m basically saying your paying 10 dollars to get your brain working. That like paying 10 dollars to watch asmr aka sleep. The Lumosity subscription doesn’t make sence and I think they should remove it.
  • Developers ignore important issue. 1/5

    By Gord On
The relaxation part must be played with the screen off. Otherwise it defeats the purpose of it. I use sleeping session and woke many times with the phone discharged and even run late to work twice because that. Plugging in the phone overnight with the screen on is terrible for the battery life. I really enjoy relaxation audios and hope this issue will be addressed some time soon. If not I will not be looking into paying for premium next year.

  • Horrible Company 1/5

    By FaceBookReview
Nothing working bugs everywhere and they bill you $66 for playing one game. Do not waste your time company is garbage
  • *iPad Version 2/5

    By Bestplayerwow
Do you have a version for iPad users?
  • Solidly mediocre app 3/5

    By Random.Walker.49378296005101
Lots of issues, like sensitivity of mouse clicks or speed of using keyboard prevent from truly unlocking both the apps and users potential. Garbage feedback like “you struggle with additions like 10 + 10” because that’s what hit the water last time. Same level of the game can be dramatically easier or harder due to layout configuration. No insightful feedback: feedback is not helpful at all. For example, good feedback could incorporate inferred insights using statistics. Time of day, tiredness, configurations, mouse and keyboard sensitivity could provide a lot of feedback.
  • Very stimulating app 5/5

This app is good to challenge the mind and keep it sharp.
  • Was great until they limited games to Premium 2/5

    By JillyO1974
Loved this app. Played games all the time. Now that they closed games to premium it’s just not worth it. Just not worth keeping now.
  • Why Do We Have to Pay? 5/5

    By LuisDaMaster09
What is the point of paying. It looked so fun until I had to pay. I counted on you! This is awkward.
  • Frustrated 3/5

I thought I cancelled this and I keep getting charged. Cancel this app already.

I thought this would be something I could pick up and use to help me train my mind. But it was just hit with a pay wall I was not told about before downloading the app. Misleading.

Not quite sure why you have to pay to use the app, but, okay, whatever...
  • Re: free games daily. 3/5

    By Nitamr
I have not been able to play the game since the first time. All I get is a looong narrative and 12-15 “get the premium” Since the 2 reports I found were bad and awful that ain’t gonna happen. I’m just accustomed to games being user friendly.
  • Inexpensive and fun 4/5

    By theresia022680
Unlike another reviewer I didn’t expect Lumosity to rework my brain, improve attention and math, for FREE. Oddly enough that reviewer thought those changes would be great if free but useless if not free. Lumosity is $5 or less a month depending on your plan. I go for months without playing and then play several workouts a day for months. Since it is inexpensive, I don’t have to use it all the time to get my money’s worth. And, because new games appear regularly, I can play the ones I love while trying out new ones. I don’t know whether my brain has reworked or not, or whether my attention has improved. I know that this is part of my routine most of the time and I enjoy it.
  • ONLY 3 games without pay 1/5

    By ehhh🤪
    You have to pay
  • I enjoy it. 4/5

    By Lovejaina
I just wish time wasn’t so important to their scoring. I am often eating breakfast or on the phone, or neighbors walk by and stop to chat while I am playing. Also due to radiculopathy, I cannot feel well enough to always hit the touch screen properly and must repeat, despite having the correct move. And my arms and has are in so much pain, that speed doesn’t measure my mental acuity, but my nerve damage. Other than that, fun, fun, fun.
  • it’s helpful 4/5

  • Great! 5/5

    By FLZEN1952
Best Brain Training on the planet. I agree, some of the definitions and words are a bit obscure in Editor’s Choice and Word Snatchers. I play on my iPad. Looking forward to the next new ‘Brain Candy’ game....
  • Been playing since it started. 5/5

This is the only app I have in my iPad. I love how has keep me sharp. I think this is the best app, I try others but this is the one. Before I had a life time but they changed to yearly subscription. Husband bought this for me, and I use it every day.The fuses is the only one I do not understand. But is ok
  • Ghazal 1/5

    By ghazal sadrolashrafi
We are in Iran and we can’t buy premium versions because of limitations and it is not fair we need these type of games as others
  • Frustrating 2/5

By liar liar liar liar liar
Enjoyed at first then I found the games to be frustrating. A game would indicate I selected a certain item when in fact I did not. I did not upgrade to premium and I wonder if that may be the answer. If you want to play luminosity for free be prepared for frustration with inaccurate scoring.
  • Good... for 10 minutes a day. 3/5

    By gopokes16
At first I was really excited for this when I got it. But then I learned everything behind premium, and I liked it less. The most you really do without premium is 3 random games a day, and that’s about it.

Okay I’d like to say something. It says 4+ but when I put my birth date in it says I’m not eligible to. Relate an account! Please fix this...
  • Color exercises 3/5

    By JohnDaoust
They don't allow those that are color blind or color deficient to play some of the exercises because they require color recognition.
  • All in one !! 5/5

    By MAHE8990
Awesome to refresh and improve your memory, concentration, vocabulary and aptitude skills. Recommend for all the age.
  • Fun 5/5

    By l-glut
    Mind twisting😊
  • It’s an ok app 3/5

    By Nighthawk2.5
The tests are cool, but you only get 3 a day unless you pay $12 a month for premium. All the things that you would expect, or at least I would expect to have from this, is kinda sad. But the games you are able to use are fun.
  • Let Me Ask You This 4/5

    By WanderingMilkshake
Brain game training apps are great. It helps develop and wake senses that are excellent and ultimately useful in the everyday world. I can say that we need more games like this that don’t drain your mind out of awareness. But, let me ask you this, does it have to come to a cost? A monthly plan? Seriously, we all want to help people and these apps are proof of that. But do users have to buy it? If we could the whole access without a fee think how much more people would benefit from this.
  • Unfair 1/5

    By DeaddogMel
I think this app would be very useful to me, but I tried to sign in, but for some reason, it said I wasn’t allowed to sign in, but the age limit is 4+.
  • Bad if your doing it free 1/5

    By cojophilip
They give you three games for free but it’s it’s the same three you get in the tutorial. Their rant really any other features for free players.
  • Would be 4/2 4/5

    By Uni rainbow kitty
The app itself is good but I think there's too many adds for premium. But I like how you can quickly exit out of them, though. Also the early access games confused me at first. The game in general is confusing until you play around with it.
  • I love 5/5

    By hemppixie
I think it’s a great way to improve your thinking abilities
  • Log in? 1/5

Gave info and was denied entry. Deleted app. WEIRD
  • Real skeptical 2/5

    By Any Direction
Okay, so I’m jut playing the trial version and some of the games are fun and cute, but I want to know why this app thinks it’s any better for my brain than the hundreds of other puzzles game out there. Those other puzzle games don’t shame me by comparing me to other people and are free. Maybe luminosity is a bit more rounded in the type of games it has to offer, but the truth is I just want to keep playing the same game over and over which doesn’t make me improve as a person it just makes me a person who’s good at playing a handful of phone games, which I can accomplish by downloading literally any other free app. Sure the daily recommended games make me play outside my comfort zone, but also it makes me mad when I get a game I don’t like. So I will download a bunch of free apps and be just as smart and maybe a little less grumpy.
  • What!? 1/5

I can’t even download the stupid app!!!!
  • Brain game lover 4/5

    By archive321
The only complaint I have about this game is that we only get 3 games a day if we don’t buy the premium. The premium is expensive, for a year we have to pay 60 dollars and for a month 12 dollars. We shouldn’t have to pay a lot of money to get brain games and challenge our minds.
  • Tests are great, fun and reliable! 5/5

    By Christyjo1031
This is a great tool! I signed up to test it out for my father-in-law who is 84 this year. I am 60 and I passed 96% above others in my age bracket of (60-64). I will be using it more to track my memory and other skills as I help my husband’s dad work through some boredom.
  • I want premium but... 5/5

    By Jobanana8233
I love love love it! But I wish it wasn’t a subscription. One time payment is more my style. Thank you!
