Great brain exercise 5/5
Keep your brain in shape and have fun doing it!!
Do not pay for this!! 1/5
I’ve used this app for many years but I’ve never purchased anything. I decided to try the free 14-day trial but they charged me $59 the day I signed up for the free trial (not after the 14 days) and I don’t even have full access! I would like a refund but iTunes, Apple Care, and Lumosity say that it’s non refundable. I will no longer be using this app even though I accidentally paid for it.
Since leaving this review, I have tried yet again, several different ways to get refunded but to no avail.
Brain games! 4/5
By Zeta Lewis
I love all the brain games, but I was disappointed when I found out it cost money to personalize. The games are still very fun and enjoyable. The Highway Hazards needs a bit of work because I can’t see some of the obstacles. Some obstacles literally blend in with the road. :/ Overall, it’s a fun learning experience with creative gameplay. :)
I don’t write many reviews but I was so annoyed that I thought I would. I downloaded the app recently after I saw a commercial. I didn’t mind using the free app as I was learning more about the program because I wasn’t ready to spend money on the Premium app if I didn’t think I would use the app. So tonight I was excited to see that Lumosity was offering a 25% discount because they were being featured in the App Store. It peaked my interest and I considered going ahead and paying the annual fee. Then I realized that they raised their prices by about 25% and then offered the discount. That’s just rude. I just downloaded this app last week and looked at the Premium price so I know how much it was before the “discount”. Now I’m just so annoyed at the Lumosity’s business practice that I’m not sure I even want to continue using the free service. It’s a shame that people are greedy, it seems like a fun and helpful app.
Stupid emails 1/5
Every time I unsubscribe I keep getting freaking emails 🙄
Harper Lee story in Contextual Language gane 4/5
There is something wrong in the last paragraph. There should be two corrections. I got the first one, but there does not seem to be a way to get the second. It seems that science fiction is incorrect, but it is not accepted as incorrect, and nothing else works when tried.
This is fun but really tired of the sales pitch
Most of the games are to know the rules not to test the real brain power like complex problem solving and analysis ability.

Th is first I went to Luminosity I was having a great time. The app was great. It was very technical and smart. But when I finished my first level, the app told me I was smarter than 2% of the people my age. Then, I realized I had clicked the wrong birthdate. So, I went to the Luminosity web page and I tried to “change my personal information”. But, it was impossible to change your birthdate. So, eventually I tried to delete my account and I thought it would eventually lead me getting into the same one I had used just simply adding six more years. But when a I pressed “delete my account” the whole shutdown. I attempted to do it once more but then the whole shutdown again. There was no way I could delete my account and I’m just questioning if this app is as safe as I thought it was.
Too Expensive 1/5
You shouldn’t have to pay for education
GOOD GAMES 5/5
So far I am enjoying this application.
Won’t let me join 1/5
I’m a ten year old child, aiming to be smartest of my grade. I decided to try out this app. I signed in, added my birthdate, and my name. It told me I couldn’t play. I checked the rating; 4+!! I’m definitely over four. I’m rating 1 star because I couldn’t even join!
Best accidental purchase of my life! 5/5
By Shima Azimi
I came across this application on the App store. I originally was looking for an app that offered memory games, so I could improve my memory. I am going through a rough patch in life and it has made me realize how much I’ve neglected self-development. How much I used to love playing games that challenged my brain. I purchased this app by accident, (thought it said $3/month, not a one-time payment of $44!) so I was going to test it out and probably stop using it after a while, as I do with many other things in life : Never complete a task. But this has been by far the best accidental purchase of my life! It offers much more than any other application I’ve ever used, and since I’ve just begun meditation and mindfulness, I was amazed to find they have tutorials for that as well!
It's good 4/5

I would give it a five star but I was going to put the password for my account on my iPad but when I put in my iPhone email and password It didn't work. In just asking that u could allow ppl to use their other device emails and passwords instead of using the same email and passwords (which I don't know) on the same device. Because in other games u can use the email from a different device and still play. That's all I ask for, and I would give a five star too if u fixed it
Great app! 5/5
I love using Lumosity! I’ve gone through spurts of using it over the years, and always enjoy it when I play. I think it really does help brain function. I notice a difference in memory and alertness while using Lumosity. I just wish it was all free. I don’t pay for apps, and I get bored with the free version sometimes. Overall, it’s a great app!
Fun games!! 5/5

I enjoy playing and would sign up if I could pay in one payment.
Locked out on phone 3/5
All of a sudden, the game wants my password. Put it in. Game didn’t recognize it. Changed via email on computer twice. Can log in there, but phone will NOT take it. Help please or refund. Love the game, but ticked off.
Are we all rich? 2/5
You want us to pay $48 for a few games on our phone that we may play in the past time? ...really?
Absolutely intriguing! 5/5
By Everyone should get this!
I love the challenges and way better than any other app even though I do not play games on my phone! Well worth it and would recommend it to anyone!
Subscription options are over priced and auto renewed. Games are not worth it.

Please fix background of game called masterpiece. it’s too dark to enable any visible difference between geometric shapes and their proper placements. Thanks, otherwise, for a wonderful game.
Hello I downloaded this app didn’t even use it yet the company took money out of my account for the year with no permission and I deleted the app now who’s going to pay the money back
BEYOND WONDERFUL! 5/5

Lumosity is a treasure. It is so engaging. So so engaging! Playing Lumosity feels like exploring your Brian labyrinths with a bright torch. It’s such a happy way of learning. I never imagined that learning can be this fun!
How is this gonna help me?
I like it very much 4/5
By Horsey Lover 3000
It is really fun. I like how the ask how you are feeling at the begging of your training, but I don’t like the amount of stuff that is a premium only thing.
I think you should give directions before a game has to be played each time. It’s nice to know what it is testing but if you aren’t sure about what you are supposed to do it’s frustrating.
By Persia Montes
I use this app every day my favorite is the mindful meditation it really helps me focus on the present
Not technically free 2/5
I like the concept of this app. But out of 50+ games, the free download only gets you 3. And premium is not cheap. For students like me, we need these brain exercises but hope it was not at a cost! So I would say, waste of time downloading the app.
love it 5/5
I love this app and it really helps just get my mind working. It’s definitely worth a try if not a premium subscription.
Great massage for your brain cells 5/5
My head is sore after daily work out, I can feel my brain is getting more wrinkles 🤪
It’s Really Good, But too expensive 4/5
By KayJay Foss
The game itself seems really good! The games are interesting, it’s challenging, and fun! However, there is a MAJOR flaw; you have to pay 12$ a month if you actually want to give your brain a challenge! I think this is way too much, not to mention I’m not old enough to pay that every month. I think there should at least be 5 games every day, or maybe 3 new games every 3-4 hours or something like that. I want to challenge my brain, but those 3 games just aren’t enough.
GREAT GAME 5/5

This game is so relaxing and I have improved my grades at school

This is how I kick start my brain every morning!
By girl who wants freeness
I liked the look of Lumosity, until they said it costs $47.00 to have the premium. I was so exited to think that it was free. Great game, but maybe rethink the cost. Maybe make
It free to those who don’t have money. Or are kids who are trying to learn because their parents refuse to teach.
For a game that’s supposedly a mind strengthening exercise I found it nothing but stressful. Another beat the clock type of game that I can’t be bothered with.

So what happened is that I was going to sign up with google but I put in the wrong year for my birthday so I couldn’t get back in!
So if you make a mistake you can’t re sign up
I am a trauma victor, with this, I have lost a big portion of my short term memory- remembering names and passwords are hard. Lumosity helps me exercise my brain- like any other muscle in my body. I love it!
I play every day 5/5
This is an amazing application to play and train your brain.
I feel more confident about my memory.
Thank you 5/5

Brain Train 5/5
I would recommend these games for everyone, (young and old especially). These are the kind of exercises you need to do daily to keep your brain and motor skills firing on all cylinders.
Great brain exercise! 4/5
I’ve noticed over the years my brain isn’t as quick as it used to be and in looking for games to work my brain I came across Lumosity. I only played the free version a few times before deciding to buy an annual subscription. I play through most of the sets they have and then play some more just for fun. I’ve recently started listening to the mindfulness sessions as well and find them to be calming and helpful as well. I try not to spend a lot of time playing silly games on my phone but I don’t find this one silly at all! Thank you to everyone that makes Lumosity and I look forward to playing new games as they come out! Yes some of the games aren’t as challenging as others and some seem like they could use a tweak or two but I’m sure someone is working on that and I will continue to leave my reviews and suggestions when prompted to do my part! I hope come renewal time I will find another deal because I’m not the type to spend money on a game like this but this was really a Christmas present from my husband who kept telling me to get the full game! Thanks again Lumosity creators!
To much cash 1/5
You shouldn’t need to pay to train your brain. That is what college is for.
good fun but that’s all it should be 3/5
these games cannot make you smarter, no matter what they say. it’ll train your brain sure, but only on the activities they show. also a lot of these games have to do with color, and as a color blind person i find it difficult to distinguish a lot of these colors. but i love brain games and if you do, you’ll probably like this game
So annoying! 2/5
I hate this game I don’t know why but it never loads, I have a iPad Pro Air and I got it last Christmas! So it’s not like it’s old and I keep trying to download it and it won’t let me get on. I am so glad it is free. Cause it would be a waste of money!!! 🙄 But it looks so fun so it’s kinda a bummer.
it’s a good game for your brain, but one problem 3/5
i just got this app today because i saw this on a ad, and i thought i can train my brain a bit. and i trained my brain, i was shocked that i could do that stuff that i thought i couldn’t do! but the premium is way too expensive!! i don’t pay stuff from games because i thought it’d be a waste of money, i don’t know why you have to pay so much for a game. but this isn’t a game. this is a app that trains your brain and doing better with your brain. but, it wouldn’t be fair for other people to use this app, and they couldn’t afford that much. i think the price would have been lower, like maybe... 5 dollars a month and 15 dollars for a year. that could be a great deal if you ask me. well, i’m not asking you to actually do it. i just recommended you to do that if you want to. sorry for wasting your time from reading this, have a great day!
Miss the whole screen trophy 4/5
By Jax_Lady, Florida
I really like the app except one change. Now when I get a highest score I don’t get the whole screen (large) trophy. It’s just a small one to the left of the score on the screen. I’d work towards the larger/ full screen trophy’s. It gave me a goal to work towards.....seeing the big trophy. It gave me satisfaction. Now I don’t get as much satisfaction from playing a new game or getting better at an old one. Please bring them back....
AWESOME GAME 5/5
I love this game so much I love how much detail goes into each individual level to make the game fantastic! I also love how you can feel yourself feeling getting into zen mode! I LOVE IT
