Love this app, ever since I started my mind is so much sharper and quicker with thinking/ decision making.
Fun but I don’t like that you can’t compare your progress or try more than three games a day without moving up to premium.
When I had the game, there was no premium! Now I have to pay! I remember playing all the locked games. Now I’m restricted to only three, and can only use less than half the apps function???
Benefits of playing lumosity 4/5
By Jerry nyi
By playing this game,we literally possess a quicker respond,a sharper brain, better problem solving skills.
Suggestion: Please make the clock visible from within the app.
What do the smiley things mean? E.g., if I chose a frown, would you interpret that as:
1. In pain?
5. Had a bad day?
8. Something else?
If I were in pain, that would affect me differently than if I were frustrated.
Often as much an influence as the amount of sleep the night before are:
1. Amount of caffeine consumed (or not)
2. Time of day
A. I am not a morning person, so am often groggy the first ____ hours after I awake (varies)
B. I am usually wiped by late afternoon
3. Exercise-When I run, it gets the blood flowing to the brain for a while afterward
I enjoy playing the free games daily and watching my score increase with each try. I’ve always had a competitive nature so I like that I have opportunities to enhance my scores. It would be nice if the free games reported how you compare to others in your age group.

You have to have a google or Facebook account I am a little bit too young for both of those and it’s for four and up! What the heck man! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS!!
Everything is visual. This is a problem for those dependent on auditory input to process information.
Brain games 5/5
I really like the challenge. I like to see my scores improve.
What a Great App! 5/5
The app is aesthetically pleasing, and the games are great for the whole family. I got Lumosity Premium while it was on sale ($3.25/month) and it was worth every penny! In terms of price, game quality, and aesthetics, I prefer Lumosity to several similar brain games I’ve tried.
P.S. - Lumosity, please add a feature that compares game scores to those of other users. For example, “Your score on this game is better than x% of other users.” I can see my own improvement, but I don’t know if I’m actually good at any of the games!

I thought I might be intimidated by the games and I was reluctant to play in the beginning. Now, it’s just a fun puzzle to play.
Brain improvement 5/5
I feel like I am smarter! I feel my brain improving and I know we are improved!!!!! I recommend Lumosity to everyone! Health is #1!
Great For Seniors 5/5
These games are very well thought out and good for us senior citizens! Great for concentration and mindfulness. Thank you.
If you truly cared about people and wanted them to enhance their capabilities involving their brain and thoughts, then you would not beg for their money whenever you get the chance. You would find ways to make sure that everyone can successfully use your app for their own advancement in improving their own life. However, this is just a “what-if” situation. Sadly, you have chosen to limit people’s opportunities to advance in life. Therefore, this app is absolutely disgusting.
I would rate it 5 stars, but you need to buy the premium version to make the training effective. I’d rather have advertisements.
Awesome fun games that are good for your brain! Love it.
Can’t log in 1/5
When i try to create an account it says “ not eligible” but I didn’t put anything in.
Put in wrong birthday 1/5
By Zombumpkin :)
I’m kind of frustrated, because I put in the wrong birth year and when I tried to change it, it would not allow me to, so I went and deleted the app and tried to re-download it to start over and when I opened it up again, it still would not let me change my birth year and I’m a little frustrated because it feels like I cannot use this app over such a silly little mistake. Really wish there was a way to fix this as I’d love to use this app and give a proper review.
Frequent large updates? 3/5
Why is it good to be frequently updating for no good reason? Take a few weeks and fix the apparently numerous bugs you claim to fix and do them all at once (unless you're using the customers to QA the product and need to introduce only a few at once?)
Fun, effective learning tool. 5/5
By Passive gamer.
This helps keep me sharp AND helps me improve. I love it and highly recommend taking a few minutes each day to exercise your brain.
Can’t replay games since update last night 1/5
So now we can’t even replay “today’s games”? Ready to delete.
Fun games but they don’t record my best scores correctly. For instance I noticed on the racing game I had gone up to 72 mph and the score said my best was 56. Who cares, it’s fun, just saying if you really want to keep score it might not be correct.
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME 1/5
You only are allowed 3 games and you have to pay $12 a month in order to get the others. Completely useless
Train of thought 2/5
By just ....stupid
There is NO WAY to beat this annoying game. It is just frustrating after level 10🤬
Helping me 5/5
I love playing this game. I’ve had a stroke and it helps with my memory recall.
By Neeky Totti

Me brain has become more challenged and better.I love games that test you brain to see if you get smarter and think critically more. This amazing app will help it also has meditation in it too it’s awsome.🤩🤓
Kalea’s Review 1/5
By Kalea Harrah
Okay so your guys app says 4+ older I am 13, how come it will not let me make an account? That does not make sense!
I love this app! They have so many games that help train and challenge your brain. The only thing I would change is for the non-premium users, could they have a 5-piece workout as well?
Charged $59+/month 1/5
My husband and I got the app and decided to try Lumosity for $15.99/month. Unbeknownst to us and the lack of double checking ALL of AMEX charges every month (hubby has dementia) until this May bill came in cost us HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS. We were charged $59.99/month without our ever agreeing to this exorbitant fee. BE CAREFUL AND REVIEW HOW MUCH YOU BEING CHARGED. I’m extremely unhappy—quite P.O.’d actually about this. I don’t even know how long this went on!!!
Awesome game 5/5
Even my 12yr old and 5yr old enjoy these games, they are fun for the whole family!
Not academic games but thinking/reaction games 5/5
I like it. I don’t have the premium subscription, I just have the free version. It gives you 3 different games to play each day, the change every day. I like it!

I never realized how much playing train of thought helped me developed a passion for planning and thinking ahead of the curve.
Love the complexity of all the games and really have seen a direct impact on my everyday life. 😀
Great daily brain exercises! 5/5
I love study today with some brain exercises. They help me clear my mind and improve my skills.
Good but too expensive 1/5
Title says it all. Plus recent reviews support this opinion.
Great Game! 5/5
I love this brain exerciser, please make early access games for regular people too😂
Mind enhancing 4/5
Great variety of mind enhancing games but some what pricey.
By joanie & alli
I love it...I’m getting older and I believe it keeps the brain younger and mor active

It feeds my brain...
Do NOT pay for this 1/5
Biggest mistake. I decided to pay the $40 dollars to get the premium account because I am studying for the LSAT and wanted to sharpen my skills. While you set up it sets payment to automatic renewal saying there’s an option to turn it off. Theoretically, there is. However, the program makes it impossible to access it. When you pay for it, it asks you to give an email, but NOT to make a password. When you try to log in to turn off the auto renewal it asks for a password and an email. Since you cannot provide a password. It won’t let you in.
I’ve tried the “I forgot my password” option to try to get in. It then sends you a link, that takes you to a safari page with another link that automatically signs you in back in the app. No chance of switching auto renewal here.
In the instructions on the app, it says you can change the automatic renewal in the iTunes Store. FALSE! First, the iTunes Store only sells music, not apps. Second, the App Store (which is probably what it means) allows no such option.
I must now sit and wait for the day when the year mark comes so I can cancel my card and avoid the charge.
THIS IS A SCAM!!! I CANNOT EMPHASIZE IT ENOUGH!!! DO NOT PAY FOR THIS!!!
Lifetime memberships, turns into a couple months for the same $200 (on special) 1/5
BEFORE the “meat” of this review, I just want to comment on a couple of others.
I’m with the one that said they’d tried 3 times and heard nothing, but you keep getting auto reply saying they’ll be in touch in 48 hours “write reply above the line”. When you do....you get a notice saying “we’ll be in touch with 48 hours”.
2 others stated that ONLY Apple can give refunds. EVERY TIME I finally got a response, the LIADVISOR (lying advisor) told me once that I’d “requested a refund, and that it had been applied back to my card”. The next time, they said they couldn’t find which card it’d been applied too, but it had been documented that THEY had issued my refund.”
So yes.....the lie they give you is the flavor of the day.
1- 8x12 and can’t get it back
1- $60 for the year and can’t get it back.
1-ME.....LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP, I didn’t want mine back, and they swear they refunded me. Yes....that THEY refunded me, as in, “you requested a refund and we returned it on.......”. Nothing about Apple.
“WE REFUNDED THE FEES”. BUT they SAY it’s documented, but upon request for a copy of this request, refund transaction, etc.......they aren’t able to get copies, it’s just in their system, but THEY had issued a full refund. (After 6/8 months of use? I don’t think so, and they know not!)
****ok.....the meat of the review follows****
Unless you have money to throw away and not care, OR throw it away and enjoy back and forth of them saying you LIED, DON’T Pay for this app.
Use the free part, get bored quickly and move on.
The PAID part is awesome, as long as it lasts. Occasional lifetime membership offered for $200. Great deal & fun. If you miss a few weeks, couple of months and log back in....your membership is gone. They deny you ever had one and that they don’t offer lifetime. If you be one insistent that they DO, they escalate to a senior liar who says after “MUCH RESEARCH 🤮🤮🤮that they’ve located your account (even though a week ago they swore they didn’t offer it) and you HAD a lifetime account, but you asked the funds be returned.
They just don’t tell you WHERE they returned them too. NOR do they say they gave back the full amount. (Which you KNOW for $200 aid you gave the account somewhere around 6-7 months, then an extended time away and you come back to get back in the lifetime part of your membership, they are NOT going to refund it all as the “senior liadvisor” tells you they did. SUPPOSEDLY this was returned almost 4 years ago. The card never got a refund nor did I get the money, and that bank card has now been closed out. So they tell you “if you can send them the proof or receipt of purchase that they’ll be glad to reactivate your membership.
YES......reactivate your 6 month LIFETIME membership.
So unless you plan on dying in 6 months to get your lifetime membership, OR don’t mind being screwed out of $200 for a lifetime membership that they don’t offer, but they are able to find a record of it, (which during the same week they send an email offering the lifetime membership” 🙄)
Or, your 3rd choice is to have back and forth banter with them for over 4 months which each person has different lines, excuses, lies....whatever the sheet for the day says. And then if you still pursue it, you then get to hear the sane crap from the senior LIADVISORS. Apparently they’ve been at this long enough they can make this crap up as they go, and don’t have to rely on a daily printout. “What 💩 to tell the customer today!”
I’ll admit, they earned that job and that LIADVISOR title, because they are GOOD at it!!!
Do yourself a favor, search for more reputable “brain game” apps. There are several, and most free. Maybe have to do 2-3 to get the variety, but they are free and no hassle/lies.
**********Memarado is AWESOME*****
Better, more challenging games.
(Unless you being lied to is your thing, then this is the app to get!!)
I want to download the free app and try this and I don’t get that option. I went to the developer website and answered questions but now how do I get the app without paying?
A game that keeps me thinking. Not your typicall phone app game. It helps keep me sharp, mentally.
Daily Brain Challenge 5/5
I love the variety and feedback of the games, the emphasis isn’t on speed, it’s prioritizing What to Focus How Why based on how effective they were case by case!
Keeps charging even after cancelled 1/5
I’ve cancelled auto-renewal several times and then get notice a year later it’s auto-renewed and there’s no way to cancel (again) and get refund. There is, in fact, no actual cancellation option. The business model is a scam, be sure not to engage auto-renewal.
