The Bonvoy app lets me book a room with 4 clicks — Amazing!!

Booked a room on a trip for 3 people. It gave us a king which Inassumed meant it included a sofa bed, but apparently only infants are figured as the 3rd person since it only allowed a crib. One of us ended up sleeping on the floor. I didn’t realize I needed to also read my reservation like a legal contract to book a room. I think I will try the Hilton app and see how that works.

Current promo is for double points for each stay. Sounds simple enough except at Bonvoy a”stay” isn’t a stay, it’s only multiple nights. So all your single night stays = zero.
Hilton doesn’t seem to have this kind of fine print bait and switch.

I have used the chat option multiple times with multiple locations and found it extremely convenient. I’m in a lot of meetings and picking up the phone to have a voice chat is not always convenient. Many times, I sent a quick question or request through chat and have never been disappointed.

The app is going back in time. Reservation missing, no where to write a review, messy, confusing, misleading. What a joke of this merge! I want SPG app back! I am a lifetime titanium platinum member. Yes, I know exactly what I am talking about. When I started my journey to become a lifetime titanium, perhaps some of you programmers are still wearing diapers! Get the app in shape!!!!!

We love all things Marriott, from our vacation club weeks to our stays at the various brands such of Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, and Residence Inn. This app allows you to book and modify reservations with ease, and also check your reward points and membership status.

You can do everything through the app! Easy reservations easy cancellations! You can use points you can use certificates or you can book and pay. I’m not the best with Technology but trust me this is easy to use!

Haven’t been able to login since Marriott / Ritz profiles merged. Pretty confident that i am not receiving points for my stays and have no way to check since i can’t login. Hotel staff and phone/email support send me in a continuous loop without a successful outcome!
Easy to use and very accurate, my only knock is with the bonvoy program as none of my spg points transferred even though I called several times.

So much for personal ambassador service when the app doesn’t list the contact information for your personal ambassador. It disappeared after the Aug 2018 IT merger and it still hasn’t shown up after launch of new Bonvoy App ! What a disservice! Please bring back the SPG management!!
Also..No way of checking multiple discount rates such a senior, AAA etc. please fix this. Lastly what happened to the second name option… The ability to add a second different last name to a reservation.
I do like the chat function and it seems to be answered immediately by the hotel

The Marriott app is way easier to navigate, update, filter, etc. than any of the popular travel websites in my opinion. Very well engineered and user-friendly. I will be booking every Marriott stay through the app from now on. Also, The rates are the same if not better through the app versus the other popular travel websites.

Really liking the ease with using this app. To make this even better- I’d recommend that last minute ‘deals’ be advertised when hotel occupancy is low to increase reservations and exposure to members. Maybe even restrict the targeted adds to a 100 mile radius of members home base to encourage last minute ‘staycation’ or road trip type of stays at different Bonvoy properties.

All of the updates have been useless. I’m really shocked that this was ever released to begin with. I’m not sure I have seen such an epic fail like this before. Lacks basic functionality I would expect from any brand.

This app is intuitive and easy to use. The only thing that is not efficient is the sorting ability. It should be able to sort by category. I don't want to sort through all the category one’s when I am looking for 7-8 category or visa versa.

There is no way the redesigned app is 4 stars. There is no delay way to navigate and the new integrated functionality (check in early, order food, chat with hotel) doesn’t work!!!!
I vary between gold and platinum with Marriott every year and this may be what pushes me to 100% Hilton.
App is good but could be better 4/5
I like the app. Easy to select room type and pulls up results very quickly. However, I wish I were able to select my room and use digital key like I can with my Hilton app. Marriott needs to add those features then they would definitely be 5 stars.

Improvements Need 3/5
The objective of this tool is great: all the Marriot hotels in the palm of your hand. Good functionality to make a reservation, get info on a specific hotel including driving directions and checking in. However once they got you booked the app is lacking. The in-app chat where you can request an upgrade, additional towels, register a request is not working. I was ignored at 3 different Marriott chains in last 4 weeks. Tech support is unresponsive.
