The app doesn’t synch with other devices (or other devices don’t synch with app, whichever). Actually, the problem is the whole Match.com scam. Fully 60% of the “matches” based on my parameters are expired accounts. Also takes days to shunt messages through its system. Blah blah blah. Come & find this, skids
Don’t wast your money 1/5
Do not wast your time and money! It’s way to expensive for nothing no one will message back and a lot of fake looking profiles
The new update doesn’t work 1/5
The update only works over WiFi. It gives a G36 error if your trying to use your phones internet
Waste of time 1/5
By match is a waste of time
Nobody wants to reply to messages on here or have real conversations. Only had one real conversation and after messaging 40 ladies and liking close to 50+ profiles, no reply’s. Plus, the matches sent to me are not even close to having the things that I said were dealbreakers and the important things I’m looking for. Nobody on here seems to be looking for a Legitimate relationship and over 90% of the ladies on her are only looking for a man that is at least 6 inches taller than them. Are these females even real or fake profiles that you create to boost your Match.com memes numbers. This site is a joke!
Good but could be better 2/5
Overall a great app but here are two suggestions. I think will help.
1. Indicate when the last time someone logged in.( to help avoid talking to inactive accounts)
2. allow nonpremium members to read messages sent to them.
One of the worst so far. 1/5
By That user
I wanted to like this app but all I have encountered are fake accounts that are being ran by scam artist or government and law enforcement agents trying to catch black men who are willing to engage in buying sex. Though there seems to be a few good things, but very few for the price. I’ll likely not use the site again. The buttons like the heart button reacts by turning white instead of red or some other reaction that would make it clear you liked a profile. This app is very basic in every way. I’m not really happy with it so far but we see how it goes. It might not be as bad of an app as it seems, but I’m not that optimistic at the moment about it.
Worst app ever! 1/5
If I could give minus stars, I would. The old app was much better than their new app. It’s a total waste of a lot of money. Very disappointed!!
To greedy of an app 1/5
Don’t bother with this app unless you want to pay. Can’t do anything unless you have to pay. What a waste of money and time.
Save your money 1/5
The new layout is really confusing and cumbersome. The profile takes hours to complete correctly and match has to review each photo you upload, only to have them crop it to meet there standards. There are lots of profiles without pictures even though match reviews each photo, obviously fakes. There are much more singles using other apps, I signed up only to find one match in my area. If you don’t live in a big city you’re literally just throwing money away on this one. I requested a refund after about 4 days and was credited for two months. At least they helped me get something back.
Not worth the money 1/5
This app is not worth the money!! Never get any responses!
Gotta Pay for attention 1/5
You have to spend money just to have a conversation with someone you matched with. The most you can do without having to pay $60 for a 6 month membership is to like the people you want to match with. Other than that if you’d want to have a conversation with someone who made the choice to like you, you have to pay to get their attention.
Not worth it 1/5
Honestly i don’t want to be long winded in a complex review but why i do not feel it is worth the money for a paid subscription is this. Not enough paid members to choose from and have conversations with even if you broaden your mileage parameters and age gap. There are so many free members who cannot message back so you are better off taking your chances with free dating apps and saving yourself some money.
As for effort i wrote a very detailed profile and put no preferences as to what i am looking for to keep an open mind and increase my chances of finding someone. Once my subscription runs out i will NOT renew
Not user friendly at all- horrible 1/5
How is it possible for anyone and everyone to message you for a paid service?? And to change that it has to be an additional charge?! In 2 days I have over 90 messages this is such a bad user experience!!!
I also went to the help section but the email preferences no longer exists in settings, and I am getting an email for every one of these messages- so my email is ruined as well.
Can’t believe I signed up for 6 months of this and I’m only on day 2. If there’s a way to get a refund, I’d like one immediately.
Don’t waste your time or money! 1/5
By Ryno P
This may be a long read, but take this lesson from me and don’t waste your hard earned money or time! I was on Match for 3 years, looking to possibly meet someone who had similar interests that I had, and was serious about getting into a relationship. Out of the 3 years, I made approximately 12 connections with users on the site. Yes, you read that correctly, 12 connections in the 3 years I was on the app. You may be thinking that’s not too terrible, but when you really look into it, that’s 1 connection a month, for 12 months and the other 24 months, basically were me checking the app to see, if someone was attempting to make contact with me and myself attempting to make contact with other users, to no avail. A majority of the profiles on the app are users, who either don’t pay a subscription and won’t be able to message you or are fake accounts. You’re better off saving your time and money. Talk to friends to see who’s single and go out to meet people. I’ve had better luck doing that, which resulted in me meeting the woman I am with now.
If what I wrote above, hasn’t made you change your mind about downloading the app and paying for a subscription, I’ll leave you this last little piece of information that shows you the match site is a scam. I had my account set on auto renew however, before match could automatically renew my account and charge my credit card, I had an unauthorized charge on my credit card, which resulted in me cancelling the card account number and opening up a new account number. Once it came time for my auto renew to happen, Match was unable to charge my account and had sent me emails advising me of this. Match advised in their email to me, to update my account information. Without updating my account information to pay for a subscription, I’m not able to see who’s sending me interests, who’s viewed my account, or send messages to users. Well, seeing I didn’t have much success using the app, I decided not to update my account information. In the 2 weeks I had not responded to match to update my account information, I received emails from Match advising 11 users have interest in getting to know me. How is it possible in 2 weeks, I have 11 users having interest in getting to know me, when in the 3 years I paid for a subscription, I only made 12 connections with users wanting to get to know me? Makes no sense and clearly shows, it was match attempting to get me to renew my subscription.
Take the lesson from me and make a good decision. If you still wish to get the app and pay for the subscription, I wish you the best of luck in your dating!
Well.... Something’s different than other apps 2/5
What I like:
First, I like the creative automated ice-breaker sentence they provide for me. I am not a good talker. I don’t have to send the boring ‘hello, how are you?’
Second, I like the Match event. I think it is super hard to meet online friends in person sometimes. But through the Match event, I could meet other people in person.
Third, I like the special discovery function which tells me whom I might crossed over with. I think it is fun to know who were there when I was there.
What I dislike:
First of all, even if you become a paid member, you cannot talk to other people unless they are paid members as well. I didn’t know that. (in other apps, I could talk to others if only one side is a paid member)
Second, I cannot see who is a paid member. It make it even harder to know who is going to reply.
Third, I do not know who was recently active which means I might be wasting my time on someone who was active last year.
You have to pay a ridiculous subscription fee to view messages and matches. Completely absurd when other dating sites are totally free and give you access to all of the information you need to ACTUALLY MEET SOMEONE. Match is here to take your money, not help you meet someone.
They love to send 100s of emails about fake matches. Wanna unsubscribe? Too bad! Emails keep a commin
Rip off 1/5
I’ve tried canceling my account SEVERAL times and it keeps taking 138 out of my account scam
Like button 1/5
It seems the only way to effectively like someone is to do it from a computer
Hitting like on a mobile phone doesn’t register .....
I just don’t like the fact that they ask for so much money to become a “PREMIUM” member but they advertise MATCH as a free platform to meet people. Not forgetting to mention, a lot of spam or fake profiles. It will be nice if they at least let you try a week or so free with premium features. I ain’t about to pay $40+ dollars a month for something I can even test drive, maybe perhaps lowering the price?
I have tried to add photos to my profile several times, and it just says uploading and never uploads them.
Needs Improvement 3/5
The app does not include many of the features available with the desktop version. Trying to access the full site from my phone is almost impossible. It keeps directing my back to the mobile. There’s also no demo. It’s either learn as you go or search the internet for answers. Not the most user friendly.
Not good 2/5
Too complicated. Bad UX.
If you’re extremely good looking no need. If you’re not also no need. 1/5

Nobody talks to anyone. You’re better off using a free dating site. Don’t wast the money. Free sites include more people who actually want to meet. I wasted money. Don’t make the same mistake I did
Hard to delete profile 1/5
By Jolly Warlock
Option should be available within the app. I'm not even sure my account actually got deleted. I hope it did. Should be illegal to make it so difficult.
You Have to Pay for Everything 1/5
By Lee wants frwe messaging
There are way too many free apps out there for this crap. They want $21 a month for 6 months in order to be able to see and reply to messages. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME.
Not a good value 1/5
I have relatives that had good experiences 15 years ago. Now it seems like a bunch of fake profiles and a racquet to make more money off these boosts. I’m not getting my value as it is.
Waist of money 1/5
People who date on match are bunch of weirdos, they are socially accord and some of them sex addicts.
Total scam 1/5
By cmb user for 3 months
Dont bother with this app, all dating apps want to lure you in saying that there are people interested in dating, 6 months 0 matches, also don't even bother with downloading this as it will entice you to pay to even see who messaged you and as you do none of the people who match with you could even be in the ballpark of what you are looking for, and just after purchasing you will suddenly get 0 matches from then on. its all a big scam.
Heard Match Was the Best 1/5
I’ve been dealing with free sites. Fed up with them. Glad I read the reviews, here, before making a purchase. Seems like everyone is saying the same things: app previously was useful, but is no longer. Must have been purchased by new people. Thanks guys for reviewing!
Very good website with good people with morals 5/5
Being on catholic march is very educative . The people you find and interact with are of a higher caliber and morals inclusive.
ABSOLUTE BS 1/5

Get views and reads but no replies! 2/5
By sam rosen 93
I’m just asking for a few replies at least. Same cultural issues just different platform. Online dating is pure crap for males. It doesn’t matter how good our pics or profile details are. Still won’t get a reply. 150 bucks I just completed wasted.
Match review 5/5
By Goo Star
Match is a top notch dating website. Very easy to navigate. Quality dating selection and volume.
Slightly Disappointed 2/5
I feel like a large portion of the matches don’t meet my search credentials. Idk if that reflects on match or the app. But, really.
Mileage is not accurate. Many many not active accounts. If someone isn’t paying or active then don’t show them.
Waste of money.
Bad matches 2/5
Match claims to send you daily matches that fit the criteria you are looking for but mostly they were not even close to the criteria especially the distance I requested. Also, there are a lot of profiles with old guys lying about their age so they show up in more searches. They should do something to verify at least the basics. Other less expensive or free services offer verification.
Wish I wouldn’t of wasted money on this crap 1/5
What a waste of money
Look elsewhere 1/5
I tried Match for 3 months and was disappointed overall. Expensive and lacks features found in similar dating apps. Save your money and look somewhere else.
Paying money to be ignored 2/5
So you can’t really do anything but look at profiles unless you pay the $42 a month to talk to people. After that it’s just mindless sifting through people till someone catches your eye. Send a message. Kind, genuine, observant etc. something to not sound like a creep. It will either sit on sent because that person isn’t active, or even real, or read with no reply yes or no. If you’re lucky you get a response and hopefully more.
Fake profiles and app crashes 1/5
Tons of fake profiles and the app constantly crashes and goes blank.
Nice to meet you 5/5
So far haven’t found my match but still looking
Too expensive 2/5
By Bokuwa Ninjutsu
$41 to message someone? That’s pretty lame. Please reconsider letting users actually being able to see who likes them, what and who has sent a message for that unreasonable price. There are other apps that do this for free mind you.
Such a rip off!!!! I’ve bounced between some different dating sites and after seeing an add I thought I’d give match a try. I was actually finding some people I would like to get to know when I realized you can’t do ANYTHING without paying an arm and a leg just to see any messages and mutual likes. Scam artists. I definitely wouldn’t recommend.
No love for educated, tall and curvy women. 2/5
Let me start by saying that I am a curvy woman. I am not “slender” or “athletic and toned”. I mean curvy. I am almost 6 foot, and I wear a size 16 pants.
I have pictures that show my size accurately. I am average+.
Almost every single male profile I came across had a preference of “slender” as the female physique.
Different men’s profiles would also have preferences on height: 5’2” to 5’8”.
Not to mention the preferences that men had for their ideal woman to have a graduate degree.
Waste of time app 1/5
Boring. Useless. Wants to charge you to “upgrade” your account in order to view your own messages from so called “prospects.” Thumbs down. Deleted the same down I downloaded it.
EMAILS FOR EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENS 1/5
Match literally SPAMS my email account with emails about messages, likes, etc.
I have tried going into my settings and updating them to “never recieve email notifications” and it does nothing. The emails keep coming.
I rely on my email account for work and I have to go through HUNDREDS of match emails to get to the necessary ones I need for my job.
Such a ridiculous issue to have, especially for such a large company. PLEASE FIX
Not worth it! 2/5
To be honest I had never tryed a dating app so since I hear of this app, I thought why not give it a try, after a few months, there has been no results lol and I get one message from a person that might be a fake! And they ask me to give it a rate!? Really? Well is simple.
This is the worst app I have ever waisted my money on! I think I have waisted money on game app and they are far better because at least I get results! But this is just me, I don’t know I might just be an ugly person but at least a reply with a NO might of showed me that this is not just fake profiles.
Some annoyances. 3/5
Well, the suggested matches rarely are what my profile states I am interested in. I’d rather get no suggested matches than ones that have simple things wrong like age and even gender sometimes! I also haven’t enjoyed retyping messages that were sent but then did not actually send. I do enjoy the specific search parameters I can set to do my own searches.
