Game is ok 3/5
Game is fun if you have enough lives. Takes way too long to get lives when you run out.

Ads are misleading!! 1/5
By Bamaprincs a
This was a disappointing download.
Instead of being a fun, puzzle-type matching fake, it turned out to be Candy Crush meets House Design🤦♀️
Why would I want to play Candy Crush to earn one star so I could have a choice of 3 sofas??
The matching the tools to the problem concept is much more fun!
Bait and switch 2/5
All the ads for this game show a TOTALLY DIFFERENT type of game play, matching fixes to problems, and I have made it to level FIFTY in Candy Crush style matching, and have yet to see the levels advertised! This is not the game I wanted, and not what I signed on for.
Very deceptive and shady 1/5
Way to hard to continue the game I would have to spend a lot of money to get though it plus it’s not anything like it was advertised it showed you choosing different items to make repairs to fix it and then showed of you pick the wrong item it failed you I saw nothing like this in this game very deceptive and shady in attracting game players. Deleting the game because it’s impossible to move forward.
I think the game is pretty fun. The only downside is how long it takes to get the house decorated. I think that they could make some changes that would make it seem more rewarding. Say for instance bonus rewards for getting through the harder levels.
I’m done... 2/5
I thought this game would be more about fixing and decorating rooms. Turns out it’s all about matching shapes. I’m disappointed that you (developers) have not taken ANY of theses reviews into consideration and changed/updated the game play. It was nice, but I’m over it; besides it takes to long to move through rooms.
Love this game! I’m on level 1076! Sometimes are tough to solve but they’re not impossible! Maybe we can design our own person to walk around so we can see ourselves in the mansion. Maybe make smaller tasks less stars, sometimes I feel like the amount of stars is too much for the task
Tons of FUN! 5/5
Love this game!
Not like the ad 3/5
I downloaded the game because the ad caught my attention. However, the game is nothing like the ad. Even though the game is not as expected, I still find it challenging.
By Butter boy 5000
It’s a decent game. The whole "decorate a mansion” part if fun and all, but the puzzles get annoying. Some levels are easy, then switch to flat out impossible ones that take weeks to crack.
Cruelty to animals 1/5
I know it’s a game, but why do you have to put a cat into a burning oven? Not funny.
Cute, fun 5/5
This is cute and fun
Another scam 1/5
Deleted it. Was fun till you couldn’t beat the level anymore. All you wanted was money spent to enable someone to beat the level.
Too hard too quick 1/5
By Anarchy Revolution
It takes forever to get thru each room and the levels get harder way too fast. It should be easier to get thru the first room then get a bit harder as you progress thru the mansion. This is not the case. By the middle of the second room, some of the levels take hours, even days, to beat. I’ve finally made it thru my fourth room and it takes several days to get past one level (for 1 star while it take 3-4 stars now for each task-there are over 50 tasks per room). Cut us some slack would ya?
Pretty good... 4/5
Where are the puzzles from your ad? I’m bored to death with the match 3. When do I get those other challenges? I’m up over level 300. When do I get the better challenges?
Update- The cool challenges don’t exist, but it’s an ad company that’s doing it. They’re using the same format across several games by different makers. I emailed support. They responded and told me this. I’m seeing similar ads for games by other makers that I happen to have. Same deal. Same type of challenges. They don’t exist.
The ads need to be pulled.
I did download this game because of that.
I am disappointed, but still playing.
Level 1050 - The puzzles are becoming understandably more complex, but once you reach this level of difficulty, we should not have to waste hard earned stars answering the freaking door “Greet____” should stop now. Speaking of hard earned stars, I’m wasting a bundle of them on the stupid dinosaur bone display I don’t even want. Five stars. That’s nuts.
This game is nothing like the adds said it was and it is so slow and I hate it😡👎
False advertising!! 1/5
The ad and the game itself are two totally different games. False advertising.

Fun but long 3/5

Update - 4.17.19 —- recently updated app and now the ads don’t work at all - can’t “double the reward” or earn an extra life right now as the ads won’t load — please fix as I do like to earn the bonus coins thru the ads - but right now it’s just not happening :(
(Original review) Wish there was a way to get more stars ... the part of the game I like is the decorating .. and to have to use sometimes 3 or more stars to complete a “task” is a bit irritating when there is no way to get more than one per level... I do like that you can earn more lives by watching a short ad - and love that ads are strictly voluntary. Also wish that when you complete a challenge that awards you unlimited life for xx time span that the clock wouldn’t keep going when you aren’t playing. Invariably I seem to win the 4 hours of life right when I am about to put the game down to live my real life.. and then by the time I come back my free lives are over.
I just wish it would be more like the ad. Because that is the game I wanted to download not this candy crush bejeweled type game. I am getting far but for how long I’ve played it is not getting at all like the ad was. I am enjoying this game but you need to earn more stars by going through the candy crush part. Because I’ve been playing for about 2 hours and I am on level 25 and First I thought that the people who made this game had stopped the candy crush part because that is basically all the game is. And they should at least show how the real game is in the ad next time. Because I am over here playing and even telling my mom how this was not the game I intended for. My mom told me to delete it but I’ve come too far to stop.and now I am really upset🥺🥺🥺 please update the game to make it less time consuming and do us all a favor and make this game more like the ad 😞😡
Not as Advertised 1/5
I downloaded Matchington after seeing multiple ads for it and decided to give in and give it a chance. It seemed interesting; I’ve never played a “guess what tool to use to fix this” type of phone game. But when I started to play, I was surprised to see a Candy Crush-esque game, albeit much slower and less interesting, which is an amazing feat on its own because Candy Crush isn’t even that interesting to begin with.
I was wondering if I would eventually move on to the style of game I saw in the ad, so I checked the reviews. Not surprisingly, this is it. And not surprisingly, other people agreed with my sentiment that the game is slow-paced. What is surprising is the amount of people who acknowledge both these things and still give the game a higher-than-one-star rating.
The farther you go the slower you go 3/5
What is the purpose of having levels so hard it takes days to get through it. All it does is make you lose interest in the game.
By Good/Bad Review12345

It is so hard cant pass level 24!!👎👎👎👎🤯🤯🤯
False Advertising 2/5
By Zoo Fan
All of the ads for this game show the player choosing the proper tool to fix a problem (a wrench is needed to fix a leaky sink), but when you download it all you get is a matching game (think Candy Crush) that allows you to earn stars to be traded for interior design designs. Very disappointing.
The Game is NOT what the ad shows 1/5
This is an ok game. However, it in no way resembles the ads for it. I expected a game like the ad, where you select from different ‘fixes’ to save your house. Instead, it’s a candy crush type of game. I feel cheated.
People should boycott games like this that lure you in with a part of the game most people will never get to. It’s disgustingly misleading and wrong. This company should be ashamed of themselves for designing a game where the fun (and advertised) part of the game is clickbait. All in the name of $$$. Sickening.
Waste of time... 2/5
I spend more time playing the matching game to earn a measly coin. The tasks itself cost that coin to greet and stack stuff which I feel is wasting my time as well.
False Advertising 1/5
It was fun, at first, but the levels get hard quick. You have to wait 15 mins per life, so it takes an hour to refill full life. It seems like you have to spend money as the difficulty increases. Also, the game I downloaded was not what the ads showed. Terrible game.
I would give You 5 Stars, as I agree with Others, it takes too long. I like the decorating but having to constantly, stop to try to accumulate more stars is not Great! Otherwise, it is kind of fun.
Loving it 5/5
Just started playing this game. Enjoying this!!!
I’ve been playing this game for a while and I have finally decided to delete it. It completely LEFT the actual work on the house which is why I downloaded this. It’s not on stupid crap like training the dog or bathing the dog... really stupid.
Matchington manor 1/5
By Like the game but.......
A game is supposed to be fun. This one has impossible levels that frustrate the player. Don’t waste your time
Fun but way to expensive , 3/5
The game is a lot of fun but you have to spend a lot of your own money or you will stay on each level for days and weeks at a time. I think more people would stay for the duration of the game if it was not so expensive. I am tempted each time I pay money into the game to remove it but I do enjoy it . I am sure I will soon remove it due to my fixed income.
Not only not better bur now worse 1/5
By boost was boosted
So I went to level 600 today and what do I find that’s new? Now we have alarm clocks that count down and shorten your game if you don’t clear them in time. So the game stops and asks for 400 points to continue. If you decline the game ends though you may have many moves remaining.
I can only surmise that the developers really don’t care about what their customers are asking for or overwhelmingly complaining about. Game is slower than ever and they really don’t get that playing the same board 20 times or more is not fun.
I’m done now. Plenty of games to try.
Deceptive is right 1/5
By poor golfer
NOTHING like the ads at all. Typical match as has already been described in other reviews.
Perfect for fans of Candy Crush 5/5
If you love candy crush and interior design this is the game for you. It’s a candy crush like game where you get to revamp a house after you gain stars! Very enjoyable!
What is shown in the demo for repairing the house is not even close to the actual game. Misleading
I have been playing this game for a couple of year I use to love the game and yes have spent money on this game 😩. When I first started the game you got 100 coins for watching two videos a day, then it went down to 60 coins a day for watching 2 videos, and now it down to 30 coins. I now just randomly play the game but will not give anymore money for extra coins.
I agree with other reviews that state that too much time spent on candy crush type game. I too downloaded to decorate the home. I wish more stars were awarded depending on the level/challenge because sometime you are stuck on a certain level for quite some time. Also, it’s frustrating to waste stars on things such as “teach the dog a trick” (worth 2-3stars) “have a picnic” (worth 3stars), or “open mail” “greet person” (worth 2 star). Again, most of us downloaded the game to decorate the mansion.
Once this is changed, I would change review from 3 to possibly a 5.
Frustration Plus 1/5
I don’t care to do anything but decorate all the rooms. It’s too difficult to earn the stars to get to the tasks. I do NOT like the snow.
Too much “candy crush” 1/5
You earn coins and stars by accomplishing levels on candy crush type games. They improve the game difficulty too much for the little amount of moves you have to accomplish it. You get stuck with no good moves and you can’t ask for it to be shuffled. You also can’t pick when and where you can use the extra bomb for help. You earn way to few coins for accomplishing a level. You have only 5 lives per hour which is not enough. Sometimes you gotta wait for over 3 min for a task to be done and 15 min to get a new life. Frustrating...
Not as advertised 1/5
So lame that they advertise this as a totally different game.
False ads 1/5
Game is nothing like the ad. Preys off false advertising for downloads and then offers all sorts of in-game purchases. Don’t waste your time or money on this game
Fun and yet not so much 2/5
Decorating: 5 stars
Matching: tedious - 1 star,
NOTE: would like other game choices in which to earn stars (a game salary to spend within game)
Money pit - 0 stars, to make quicker progression, you can spend tons of money!
Options to select: Overall 1 star
Pets - 0, would not select pets
Direction of game play - 0-3, Do not like being
forced to buy - pets, re-decorating, etc.
Waiting for construction - 0 waiting for time to
run out & not allowed to do other things i.e.
upgrade garden/fix home if you have the
stars to do so. To progress quickly, you have
to SPEND MORE MONEY (1,000 or more
coins) to pay for the construction to end or
wait out the HOURS (10+ hour wait).
Game progression - 0 stars
Size of facility - too big - 1 star
• Have a tiny home version
• Have a small home version
• Have different types of facilities to decorate
• Make it about your customers, not your wallets (cha-ching)
• Have the game move quickly, you can always start over & re-decorate
• Greater rewards - would I rather have a 1% raise or a 20% one?
• I would never want a McMansion but thought it would be fun to decorate. This home is a behemoth. At the rate I am progressing, it would take years to decorate. I have a fun life and it does not revolve around this game or any other one. I like to get in a game, have a bit of fun, then exit the game.
Listen to customers more. Make it more about your customers. There are a ton of games out there. I have deleted many a game if it was tedious, small rewards, money pit(thought developers greedy), developers not listening to customers, etc.
customer service is useless 1/5
i got a new phone and customer service wont get back to me to restore my game data, it has been four days and nobody has sent me a message concerning my problem. i even made a $10 purchase the day my last phone broke, and had to unexpectedly get a new one; that’s money down the drain again. do not recommend download, Homescapes’ customer service is so much better and won’t leave you hanging FOR DAYS on level three, when you were previously on 600.
Like the idea of the game but the levels get WAY too hard WAY too fast. Like I’ve literally been stuck on level 57 for DAYS! I’ve used all of my power ups and lives to try and complete it! At this point, I’m convinced it’s impossible!
