Does not scan phone for viruses 1/5
Does not scan phone for viruses. Only allows you to save your files somewhere in the cloud
Not blind friendly 1/5
By Angry blind guy
Was told about this app by T-Mobile customer support to help me with a problem I’m having with my phone. So I downloaded it and it is far from being blind friendly. I’m not seeing anywhere that it has virus protection and the stuff I see it is offering my phone already offers that and does a great job of doing so. So where is this virus detection that I was told it has?
BEWARE!!! Support Where Are You!?! 1/5

The problem?? MY REGISTERED EMAIL CHANGED TO A CHINESE ADDRESS!
WHO HAS MY INFORMATION?
I have attempted to reach support several times from the App menu. It is not functioning. The email will not even process. When I attempt alternatives the site appears to be connecting to support then - Application Error.
Horrible Support 1/5
By Oso Good
I emailed the support team with the contact info provided on the app. When I emailed them that my email is mistyped and I need to change it to the correct one, I get an automated message that their inbox is full and couldn’t receive my email. I sent numerous emails but I receive the same automated message. There is no other contact info provided nor does the “How to” section provide info on how to update your email.

They are impersonating another legitimate app. Different low grade logo. Sketchy.
Yes, WTH? Was just given this link by TMobile to protect my phone. It downloads but that’s all I can do. The first step is to enter your phone number. I did, and I get an error message and advised to try again later? I am paying for this crap?
Waste of time 1/5
Adds nothing to using iCloud.
Is it an antivirus for the phone?
Not sure this is working 1/5

How do you us it ??
Free for a reason 1/5
No features that aren’t already available in vanilla iOS. No features for browser, malware, or network security. Cold garbage.
All this is is a personal tracking app. Everybody, everywhere? Nothing about internet security!! deleting!
Very invasive and difficult to navigate 1/5
Seems to want to take over all iCloud security like find my phone etc. not sure this is necessary as Apple did a great job in that area. Where is the virus/phising/ and hijacker scanning. More like an up sell tool than a phone protection tool. The more I try to use the more frustrating, why does McAfee need to store my backed up contacts and get constant location updates. Not to be paranoid but I am uninstalling this app as the information requested is invasive and very salable, not protecting much but their bottom line. Going back to Sophos.
Try to update your email address through the app!?! Not going to happen.
Try to update your email address through customer support!?! Not going to happen.
I now see why McAfee had to team up with T-Mobile. A failing company in a world they helped create.
Please seek out other mobile security apps with up to date features and a more secure sign up process!
I downloaded the app. Opened the app. It wants me to create an account. I enter my email address and a password and hit submit. It tells me that the email address already exists in their system. Okay, yes, I had an account on my laptop at one time. The app won’t let me do anything, other than create some other random email for the sole purpose of signing up for McAfee on my phone. Not Happening!
This app is extremely outdated and useless on iOS unless you want to just backup contacts and locate your phone, both things you can do natively on iOS with iCloud. Annoyed that T-Mobile switched away from the superior lookout mobile security for this nonsense. This app requires you to do everything online which defeats the purpose of a “premium” app and when you sign In with your details on the actual updated mcafee app it fails to recognize your license and says you are on the free version. There’s no WiFi protect, no identity protection, no security breach announcements, NADA, ZIP, ZILCH, NOTHING, on this app. The app is only remotely useful for Android users as the android version at least functions exactly like the full version. This version looks like it was made for ios4 (not kidding). No point in having a “premium” license that comes with none of the premium features on iOS. This app is useless!
Can’t get past the sign up page 1/5
I keep entering my email and it keeps saying “we already have an existing email by this name, please use another email” and I’ve never had this app or this service with T-Mobile...frustrating to say the least
Waste of money 1/5
I paid 47.99 for an app I can’t find or open only to be sent to various web pages. I would love my money back and an app that will actually work to show me who is accessing my iPhone and deleting my photos and changing my passwords.
This app is amazing, it can do so many things for example when u lose your phone it starts screaming lol
By Miss Mary 34
Got a new phone and now can't access this app because it says that this app is already used

So I got T-Mobile, downloaded this app, signed up and hooked everything up. The app is a bit outdated but still does its job. This app has some awesome features that you just don’t get from other companies. Say you lost your phone in your house, sign in on any other device and press the alarm button, your phone will automatically put the volume to 100% and start screaming so you can find it, which is EXTREMELY USEFUL. Also say you lost your phone or you think it’s been stolen, simply his login to the T-Mobile McAfee website and press locate, and it will tell you where your phone is in live time. It also backs up your contacts, vault, and some other things. Also, have some pictures you wanna keep away? Put it in your vault and put a pin on your vault. If someone tries to enter your vault, and puts in a pin incorrectly 3 times, it takes a front facing picture, and sends it to your email. It’s pretty amazing. You can do so many things from the website and it’s pretty amazing, don’t ever worry about losing your phone again.
Don’t bother wasting your time 1/5
Along with having to use an insecure password, you can’t even sign back in! Carrier is a joke.
McAfee very disappointing 5/5
This app is less than lacking when it applies to any type of security. I’ll stick with encryption browsers, email, and VPN
Does it work? Who knows..... 1/5
Can't get past the registration page on my new iphone. Asks for my T-Mobile acct#, but then just freezes as son as I enter it and press continue.... nothing. Nada. Nope. Fix it.
Baby you’re no good! 1/5
Enter your email to sign up. Sure but each one I use it says user already registered. Try again developers. Job security?
A security app that doesn’t allow secure passwords? 1/5
By Madcity Mama
It’s a VERY bad sign when one is logging into a security app to be told you can’t use special characters in your password. What?!? Great! I get to have an insecure password for my security app. I don’t think so. Deleting.
Well ????? 2/5
Would like to try the app, and write a review, but can’t get past the registration page. Update randomly about 2 days later after dozens of attempts I finally got past the registration screen. I still liked Lookout better.
It doesn’t work
Security App that Doesn’t! 1/5
I have tried with this app on several occasions. Just don’t like that if I backup my pics I have to delete them or I keep getting a message that says my phone is not secure. I’m deleting the app again and not dealing with it. It’s a nice concept but the company needs to really work on it. Password with no special characters is a HUGE no no. It’s included with my protection plan but I won’t be using it. My cable company also offers it but it’s the same thing.
A “security” app that won’t allow any special characters in your password. It just doesn’t instill much confidence these jokes have any kind of clue...
Is this real? 2/5
Seems like a scam or virus ..
Can’t get past the registration 1/5
It just shows a processing screen then disappears and nothing happens. Also for a security app why wouldn’t you allow special characters?!
