    I love this app!
  • Life Saver 5/5

I was looking for Sepsis criteria after my daughter’s 2nd bout. That’s when I found MDcalc. I have used it to convince medical pros to do Sepsis work ups, because sadly, awareness is still lacking. Thanks to MDcalc and early treatment, my daughter has survived Sepsis 6 times now.
  • Wonderful app 5/5

Why is this app displaying ads on the calculator pages now?
  • Must have medical app! 5/5

    By Jdawg8276
I love love love MDCalc. By far the easiest to use and best designed among the medical calc apps. And it's totally free! Thank you for making my job easier!
  • Intuitive 5/5

    By Ali Al Arab
This is the most intuitive to use medical calculator on the App Store. Very easy and does not confuse you with the menus. It does lack some of the very rare subspecialty calculators but the developers are working on it and adding calculators constantly.
  • Just use the MDCalc website instead! This app has very little content compared to the website! 1/5

    By TotesLove
I found the calculating method I needed for modified Glasgow prognostic score (mGPS) on the website and it was so easy to use that I decided to download the app to my phone for future calculations. After registering the app and setting it up on my phone, I went to find the mGPS calculator and it is nowhere to be found on the app. There's also no indication that I can get the calculator if I upgrade or pay any money. So basically, I still have to go to the website if I want to calculate mGPS again. So what is the use of this calculator on my phone if it does not have the same or as much content as the website?? I might as well just go to the website and save space on my phone! I'm confused as to why that particular calculator is not included in the app and I wonder how many other calculators are not included in the app. I'm very disappointed with this MDCalc app. :-((

    Ty! Looks great.
  • Hands Down Best Medical Calculator 5/5

    By owensrichardson
It's the best one there is. Great UI. Love that it gives you extras. For example instead of giving you FeUrea of 18%. It reminds you that less than 35% is more likely pre-renal azotemia. They had something input wrong in a calculator, I emailed them and they responded within 15 minutes and fixed it in a day.

  • Excellent 5/5

    By joemeyer
There are many applications that have similar formulas but this goes beyond that to give you the science and evidence behind the formulas.
  • The best med calculator on the App Store 5/5

    By alxmyles
It doesn't have every single thing but I think this is the most well done of all the med calculators on the iOS app store. They are always taking suggestions on new calculators to add and update the app frequently. You can now even search for calculators directly from Spotlight and launch straight into it which is really handy and saves time.
  • Genius. 5/5

Use of this app will soon become part of the minimum standard of care - so adopt early and spread the word.

  • Deploying this week 5/5

    By Billy the baby goat
We're deploying MDCalc to our PAs this week. With most new products and procedures, we have to vet the process or technology for at least a month, but they've picked up MDCalc so fast (one day of training) that we're doing a soft deployment in a few days. Really looking forward to seeing how it improves the quality of our care.

    By The Chicago Listener
I used this app the other day and it helped me save someone's life. They were on the "road" to dying, but I sort of used this app like Google maps to put them back on the highway towards "staying alive for now"!

    By Runde_MC
Far and away the most user friendly medical calculator I’ve ever used. Clearly a lot of time and attention was paid to making this work well on an iPhone, which makes it that much easier to take advantage of on shift. As a previous reviewers have noted, the reference content really makes this app stand apart.

MDCalc is very well designed for medical and non-medical professionals. Calcs load quickly after inputs are assigned with rapid points results (i.e. virtually no lag time). The content creator background for each calculator is really helpful. Happy to see MDCalc launch their app.
