The first time I tried this the Dr I had was super rude didn’t even ask questions had long pauses didn’t say anything at all an told me he’s just waiting if I should send him a perscription.. he was so rude an shouldnt even be a doctor if he doesn’t care for others well being.
Just got to urgent care instead.

Don’t bother and just go to a clinic or your PA. Can’t or won’t actually do anything for you. Then they won’t let you take the credit card on file out of the app. Never using this again.

I don’t feel that the cost for this service is appropriate for the amount of time taken and the basic information I received. I could have went to my local pharmacy or google free of charge and received the advise I was given. I feel that it would be appropriate to charge a $30 fee if the MD were to have to send in a prescription, or provide more than the service I received. I am very dissatisfied.

Every time I have used MDLIVE we have been extremely satisfied. The doctors are wonderful, and our wait time is shorter than even the drive to the doctor’s office. Plus, our waiting room is our living room. Highly recommended.

This was my first experience using MD live. The doctor contacted me quickly and asked pertinent questions. She helped me out from the comfort of my own home.
I didn’t get a notification that my account was suspended. I believe it could have been for too many login attempts, because I couldn’t remember my password. I never received a notification saying my account was suspended. You need to send something through email to reset it. I shouldn’t have to go through customer service and be on hold for a long time.

But they prescribed an antibiotic cream that is 200 dollars.

Although the concept is great and they allow you explain in detail what it is they you’re experiencing they don’t treat everything. Also, you won’t find out until after you’ve been charged!

I had pinkeye and thought it would be great to try this app since I was out of my home state on business. I thought it would be perfect since my flight was in the morning I could swing by and pick up my prescription on the way home. Sent in a photo of my eye spoke to a doctor over the phone and he said it was allergies to not rub my eye and take Benadryl. Next day eye was worse got home saw a real doctor and got my prescription for pinkeye. Will never use app again. Wish I could have wrote this with a no star rating.

My family and I have experienced excellent care from the comfort of our home. Doctors are honest and knowledgeable in their diagnoses. My son’s eye was not able to be treated and the pediatrician referred us to our in office pediatrician.

This app is worthless. I tried several times to join my appointment, but received an error message until the video chat was ended from their side. I called customer service and no one could tell me why the call wouldn’t connect. They said I wouldn’t be charged, but we’ll see.

I was out of state on vacation when I came down with strep. I was able to be diagnosed quickly and get the medication that I needed. I was able to salvage the last couple of days of my vacation!

Just go to regular doctor.... every time I have to follow up, it’s different doctor...also they will charge u $75 every time u have to follow up or talk to doctor... poor online experience-it did not take my insurance although I was recommended to use md live by my insurance...we called 2 times and it took more than 45 min to set up for first appt, although call back by doctor was quick the first time.... during 2nd call similar experience... poor execution of good concept. I was so much hoping it to be good experience but sadly cannot say so.

Saw a doctor within 5 minutes. She was able to diagnose quickly and could tell what was happening based on my symptoms. Prescription is already waiting for me at the pharmacy. So much easier than waiting over the long weekend to go to my family physician.

Prices are amazing! I have a busy schedule and it’s 1030 at night and I noticed I have a very bad bug bite on my toe where it burns and it’s bruising and there wasn’t any possible way I can see a doctor with my work schedule and the office being closed because it’s Thursday night . I work Friday while my doctors office is open and they are closed on the weekend and Monday is a holiday. I was desperate to know what it was without having to go to the emergency room ( don’t want the bill) . I used MDlive filled out a couple things had a doctor call me in less then 5 minutes. I sent photos of my bugbite so she could see it too! She gave me some meds and now I can sleep easy knowing my foots not going to fall off. Cause I would hate to be footless.

Had a little trouble selecting my pharmacy however once I completed everything i received my video conference in less than 2 minutes. Doctor was very professional and I will be using this more often since my doctor office takes forever to answer or has any availability to meet my needs. I am very pleased with what I encounter on this site/app.
Poorly designed app & program 1/5
Unable to put my meds in the profile since you can’t document compounded meds - fail. Doctor 1 was available right away but nothing told me to “wait in the app & doctor would initiate video”. Lost 1st appt. Called in & 2nd dr set up & finally told to wait in the app for dr to initiate video. Dr 2 initiated video but he could not hear me so appt cancelled. Third try I converted to audio only - had uploaded pix of my symptoms. Dr 3 was very kind & suggested OTC meds to start but call back tomorrow if not better. Frustrating experience but still faster than waiting at urgent care. App is poorly designed and instructions not complete, adding to frustration.

I love being able to just call in to a doctor rather than having to drive 25 miles into town and then wait around in town for a prescription to be filled and then drive back the 25 miles. Because I live in the woods, it’s always an all day event when I get sick. It’s just so nice to have this new way of seeing a doctor!

Complete waste of $49. Told me to go see a doctor. Whats tge purpose of the app if all tgey can do is tell you to go see your doctor. Will never use tge app again. I want my money back. What a ripoff.

The doctor offered me no useful advice. I was told to manage my symptoms the way I already have been with the same ineffective medications. Then he said to call back (for another 75$) if symptoms persist for four more days. This was a waste of time and money. I’d be better off going to a Walgreens walk in clinic where they actually listen to me and aren’t afraid to prescribe the medications I actually need to get rid of a sinus infection.

This used to be a good option for our family because we do not have traditional health insurance.
The idea is great. No waiting in a doctor’s office filled with flu germs. It is accessible any time of day or night. You don’t even have to drag your poor, sick child out of bed. I used to love this service and think it was worth the money. Not anymore!
I’m not sure who is in charge of when and how many antibiotics can be prescribed, but EVERY time one of my family members are sick, we are told that it is viral and no antibiotic. So what is the use of this service if we can’t get an antibiotic when we are sick?
Just to let you know, because we don’t have traditional health insurance, we do everything we can at home to treat our symptoms first before we seek out medical attention. All of us, even our little 5 year old, wash out our sinuses with saline rinses, gargle, and take more vitamins than anyone else I know. If we call in and ask for medicine, it’s because one of us is feeling really badly and the home remedies have not worked. Most of the time the home remedies do work, but in the few cases when they don’t, we just need an antibiotic! In today’s world, no one has the luxury of staying in bed for a week to 10 days waiting for the sickness to run its course!

Yes, it’s a fast way to speak to a doctor but paying 75$ for a doctor to tell me to drink 4 emergencies a day and get Advil is a horrible experience. I have been sick with an ear infection, sore throat and an uncontrollable cough for a weeks. My doctor whose name is Jeremy was a certified dingus on my call. Savvve yourself 75 bucks and don’t do use this service.

Could not use video. Doctor complained of poor audio. Had to resort to phone consult instead. Other features of app not great. I filled out everything about my conditioning their website and then had to switch to app for video consult. When I installed and logged into the app, none of my condition/symptoms data was there, had to reenter. Terrible UI.

Around midnight, discovered my daughter was covered in rash. Figured this would be a great time to use the app since they have doctors available “24/7”. Consult request was confirmed 11:58 pm and waited and waited until I got a phone call from customer service AN HOUR LATER saying that no providers were available. She asked if I’d like to cancel or reschedule for the morning, and that a doctor would be available at 6am. As soon as I canceled, I got a text saying that my video consult was ready to begin. I opened the app thinking I had misunderstood and there was no one waiting. This morning I tried again and this time, I got a text fifteen minutes after requesting that my video consult was ready to begin. I opened that app and was placed in a “waiting room” and kept the app open. After waiting for another fifteen minutes, I get an automated call saying I missed my consult!! Some service. Our insurance used to recommend Doctor on Demand and this year recommends MD Live. I’d rather pay the extra money for Doctor on Demand where they don’t waste my time.
