The Best 5/5
Must have for students and profs!
Overall rating 4/5
Love it because it helps me with medical terminology. But could be better at showing pictures of medical instruments to better understand how the instruments are used.

Very helpful 5/5
I use this for my classes. I’m studying for my medical assistant degree and my ortho technician certificate, this has helped tremendously. I know I’ll still be using it after I get out of school.
Big fan 5/5
I’m obviously studying- and this is a HUGE help. It gives you definitions and pronounces the word for you as well. Super helpful when most medical terms are derived from Greek and Latin word roots

Very helpful to someone with rare medical condition 4/5
By The Eclectic
I have a rare autoimmune condition and this app has been really helping me better understand terms and mechanisms involved in my condition. Only complaint is that the interface is not refined for use on newer phones but is still totally useful. In particular, I love that it provides definitions from multiple sources. This helps me a lot in better understanding what each terms means.

Great app! Please update though. I want the full screen experience!
Please let us download an offline version 1/5
It is basically useless without an internet connection. It would be awesome if it’s like Merriam Webster which can be accessed without internet.

Love this app!! 5/5
I am going to be a medical student at northwestern and this has answered all my medical dictionary questions. I really recommend this app if you have any questions about what something means. Overall, this is a GREAT app!!
good for school 5/5
It’s crap 1/5
This is a load of crap. It doesn’t help at all, and it doesn’t even begin to know medical terms I’m looking up. Waste....of....space
Excellent! No other ‘free’ dictionary needed 5/5
I’ve looked at all the ‘free’ dictionaries and none can match this one. The others don’t have everything & most will direct you to buying their ‘pro’ version. Don’t! This is all you’ll need.

Great app! 4/5
I’m in a course that is for Medical Office (billing & coding). I know about half of the elements and meanings from going to LPN school and this is a huge help for the ones I don’t remember!
A Good Leader 5/5
Thank you for giving users a reliable source of clinical and scientific definitions. Internet needs accurate information center that can answer critical questions. You are in the forefront and thank you, again, for doing a splendid job.
I am currently in nursing school and this medical dictionary is a life saver when coming across odd disease processes or even if you’re just trying to brush up on medical terminology.

Better than I Expected 5/5
By Trevor B Dixon
Great app, whenever I want to look up a term, its very useful. It has a lot of information on the words, and is very professional, and cites sources. One thing I would recommend is maybe a different section for random terms, maybe words of the day (or something like that), or possibly terms sorted by alphabetical order so you don’t have to search for terms if you want to learn something new.

Nursing student survival tool!!!
Very helpful 5/5
I'm a (CPC) medical coding student and this helps save me time rather than using a huge heavy medical dictionary book. And it's FREE! 😍

Farlex Medical Dictionary Spoken Text Problem 2/5
I looked up “pruritus” because I was uncertain how to pronounce it. While the phonetic version addressed this correctly, the spoken version was very misleading: it sounded like “poomitis”, seriously incorrect. The developers need badly to improve their algorithms to speak this word correctly.
