This program is extremely useful 5/5

I have medications that have to be to times. This program is outstanding at helping me keep track of what I’ve taken, what needs to be taken, and when to take it.
Close but... 1/5
By Elijah G
A few things it’s missing. Have medication name right in the reminder. Far too many clicks for a reminder app. “Did you take your vitamin D?” Click taken or snooze right in the notification would be great. Opening the app just ads too many moves. And on top of it all, you have to wait for the app to load.
Same for the Apple Watch. I have 7 vitamins and supplements and medisafe wants me to open the app just to find out which one is due (7 times a day).
Speaking of the watch, it would be great if there was a complication for the infographic face.
Was trying to switch over from my other app considering it keeps it simple, unlike medisafe. Get a notification, look at my watch, click taken. Done.
My goal for reminders is not to grab my phone or watch and start tapping and swiping and waiting and reading and exiting. Quick notification tap for taken and snooze would be great. If you want money, I would gladly pay for the simplicity.
It’s really helping me a lot 5/5

For a while I was struggling with taking my pills on time. Now, with this app I don’t have to worry about forgetting ever again.
Alert not loud enough to wake 2/5
This seems like an ok app but I was looking for something to wake me up for medication
Needs some work on communication 3/5
I tried to use the home mail system and suddenly most of my medications were transferred to their new pharmacy which wasn’t in my insurance plan and cost me much more money. I spent several days trying to find someone to respond back to me with the necessary information on how to transferred the medications back to a pharmacy under my plan. I really liked having the phone reminder letting me know that I had missed my medication since I do my own medications in my assisted living facility compared to others that I live with. I am so grateful that I eventually heard back on how to take care of my problem even if that makes my monthly supply limited for June 2020. Can’t afford to purchase out of plan wish they would have told me sooner!
Simple & effective. Love!!! 5/5
I needed something to help me keep up with meds for me, my grandma & 2 kids. I LOVE that I get reminders & it keeps track of our pill count. The refill reminder is the best. Takes a few minutes to set up, but totally worth the effort!!!

It is very helpful remember to take your meds so you don’t for get to take them
Es una gran aplicación 5/5
Excelente aplicación. Mi única crítica sería qué me gustaría que tuviera un precio fijo nada de mensualidades es demasiado de caro tenerla premium. No me permito pagar otra mensualidad no puedo económicamente.
Me gustaría que tuviera un precio económico fijo. De lo demás es todo lo que buscaba en una aplicación.
don’t really feel effectively reminded 3/5
i get the notifications and i know i need to do it, just cant like do it. it doesnt make it feel like it is important. this app is good, but if you cant look at notifications for the living life of you, then it may not be for u

Will be reviewing other apps...too bad because I’ve used this for a while....
Great product 5/5
By Sparky 1 of 2
I love this product. It does more than you could ask for in an elegant way! My only wish is the alarm go off after a specified time.
Subscription vs Sale 3/5
I fully support developers who sell their apps. I do not support those who use a subscription model to unlock important features I’ve deleted Medsafe.
Thankyou for everything 😍
Great app 5/5
I accidentally came across this application it is simple and I love it
Could use help 4/5
I love this app because it makes it easy to remember to take your meds, gets refills, side effects, etc. I do think there’s a couple things that could be fixed though.
1) give a general time frame option. I have a medicine I take in the morning, with food. Depending on my day, that could be between 9 am and noon. I’d love a way to be able to put that I took those medicines, but I can’t yet.
2) as of the last update (this is written 05/22/20) the app crashed 3 times while I was trying to add a new medication.
Medisafe has been wonderful in helping to make sure the app works correctly. Helping through the pandemic in many ways! Email reply’s are in an appropriate time with concern to help! Best Medication App I have found. Marissa has been wonderful to work with. I have had questions and she has kept in touch through email to explain things.
“As needed” needs timeframe added 4/5
My pain medication is “as needed” but can only be taken every 4 hrs. When a med is listed “as needed” there needs to be a timeframe option. To tell when another dose is safely available. Not necessarily for a reminder but safety in dosing. Yes, a patient can look at the time taken but it would be nice to have an “icon” saying “no dose available” or “dose available”. Or maybe red for not cleared and green for cleared for another dose. Just a suggestion to help out in the “as needed”. Those random doses are often the hardest to keep track of. Otherwise app seems to work well so far!
Exquisite App 5/5
By Wit Man
First surprise - this app does what it says and does it so well that it might be the best app in ANY category that I’ve ever used.
Second surprise - it exceeds all expectations and continues to reveal a depth of features that are thoughtful & helpful.
Used to be perfect. Now crashes constantly 5/5
I’ve used Medisafe for about a year and loved it. So helpful in tracking my many things and I love the customization. But as of two updates ago it crashes. Every single time I use it which is hourly. If I’m partway or almost finished adding a dose it crashes and I have to relaunch and start all over. Very frustrating for someone already dealing with lack of energy and illness. Support had me install a log tracking app to troubleshoot but now say they can’t recreate the crashing or solve it but I’ve seen others mention crashing too. Nothing changed on my end except updating their app. I’m about to go back to my own custom calendar entries which is clunky but at this point would be much easier.
Great when it works. 4/5
Update button doesn’t work. Glitchy. iPhone version - which you CANNOT sync with this or any other device - works well, ironically (b/c did I mention, you can’t sync?). This situation is very frustrating, namely for someone who is neurotic & can’t seem to let it go. Which is why I have spent the last hour trying to adjust the end dates of various meds (that had passed their end date) only to find the update button unresponsive....and my meds - after all the trouble - STILL not showing up on missed/future dates. ALL THAT SAID, as a person who just went through 5 years of Cancer treatments - and LOTS OF MEDS - I am/will always be extremely grateful for this app/the makers...for keeping me on track and allowing me to focus on getting well instead of counting/remembering pills & managing meds. So thank you for THAT!
Helpful reminder 5/5
I had to take 5 anti-viral meds a day for a week due to shingles. This helped give me reminders to take it as well as remembering if I took the last dose are not. Makes taking multiple medications a day much safer.
I used to love this app, but... 1/5
Now it will stop sending you notifications if you don’t launch the app every week. 😒 guess it’s time to use another service.
Seemed good when I downloaded 3/5
This seems to be a good app for medicine tracking. As sophisticated as the app seems, for some reason, you can not set a reminder for meds that you take more than a month apart between doses. Seems easy to add to the software, but the app doesn't allow it.
Used to be great 1/5
By Skeptic -_-
Will not show doses without signing out of account and signing back in; which is not a quick process. I contacted support, and they took days to get back to me and asked questions as if I were stupid. Finally I sent them a screen recording so they could see. They then said that they had identified the problem and it would be fixed on the next update. Well...that was 2 updates ago and I still can not see the medication I have logged unless I sign out and sign back in. It was one of the best apps I had until it stopped working, so much that I actually held on and dealt with this for months before finally deciding to give up.
Good app but needs over-dose reminder 4/5
Overall this is a solid app. I like the ease and no nonsense the way it works. Though the meds I take are “as needed” it would be more helpful if the app could remind the user when it’s to soon to take another dose. As we age it’s easy to overlook the amount of time that has passed from the last dose taken. At age 80 I can still think quite clearly and easily calculate the amount of time passed but I am sure their are app users who would appreciate having an over dose reminder.
Could be five star app for medications 3/5
Huge problem with. After recording doseage, app will always go back to Guest. Never to the profile for my father in law that I am using this app for
I love all the other features and how it works, so far, but going back to a blank guest profile is just stupid

Exactly what I need 5/5
I recently started new medications. One is taken once weekly another is once monthly.
This is a very simple system, with easy set up and information about each med a touch away.
The reminders are pleasant. Thank you for developing this!
Excellent app. 5/5
By Tarik Mahmood
Great app so far. It also give you short guidance about the medicine. I will recommend if you are taking medicine on regular basis. You won’t forget to take medicine and will not skip or take medicine twice. Love this app.
Just What I Needed 5/5
By Play my own gsme
I have to take a variety of medications. I was using my phone clock alarm with labels telling me what medications to take and when. But it was annoying because I can’t always take my medication when the alarm would goes off because sometimes I’m busy at that moment with something I need to finish. The alarm wouldn’t remind me if I hadn’t taken the medicine. It was done. And I had to turn it off because any alarm is bothersome, especially if you’re using the phone to conduct business.
It dawned on me that they’re must be an app for this. I downloaded a few so I could try them out. This is the only convenient medicine reminder. If I don’t respond, it gets back to me in a short while. And the alarm sounds like a soft rattle. I can take the medicine exactly on time, I can ignore the alarm without missing my medicine because this app gets back to me in a while. If I decide to take a medication a little early or a little late, I can easily mark that in my schedule.
You just put in the name of the medication. The app and for the dosage and shows what the medications look like, so you have a visual of your medicine, too., It asks how many times a day you take it, and then has you put in the times you want to take it. It takes about a minute or two to do after you’ve done it once.
It’s so convenient. No more forgetting to take an important medication. No more trying to remember if I already took that medication today.
I love this app!
Ok, but has bugs 2/5
Have had a constant bug for quite awhile where evening meds are tagged to be associated with the next day. Support has asked me to change same settings several times and have instructed me to update to a future release. Now well over a month and each bug update fails to address the issue.
I haven’t even tried to have fix the issue where the ability to get meds updated automatically doesn’t work.
Well designed software but I miss alerts 4/5
The software is intuitive and user friendly with a lot of great features like drug interactions and other info. I miss the alerts though and I wish they were more like an alarm and would continue to go off until I take my meds. I would at least like the option because my meds are very time dependent and I take them every four hours.
Great all idea 3/5
A bit difficult to navigate. Could use easier “how to”
Great App.... 4/5
The interface for the app is simple and easy to use so far but I did have trouble setting my birth date in my profile. Every time I would try to put in my birth date, it would simply just change it back to the date of what day it was.
Really solid software app 5/5
I have a complicated meds calendar and MediSafe helps me stay organized and aware of drug interactions. My only request is that when it provides drug interaction updates that it was clearer when an update was made and to what medication. Thanks for a great app.
WORTH. EVERY. PENNY. 5/5
As someone who takes daily meds up to 3 times a day, this app has changed my life. It’s not just a series of reminders - you get reports on how much you stuck to your meds, reminders to refill them at the pharmacy, an interactions checker, and you can even add a friend! That’s perfect for me, because now my mom always knows that I’m taking my meds and she will get a notification if I don’t take them in 35 minutes. And thank goodness for the interactions checker!! I was prescribed anti-nausea medicine after a trip to the ER, and would have taken it if I hadn’t checked that it could have severe interactions with my other meds! My psychiatrist was very happy I didn’t take those meds from the ER.) I would rate this app 6 stars if I could. This is by far the most practical thing I’ve spent money on IN. MY. LIFE.
Very helpful 5/5
By Om-Nom Lover<3
Love it, except crashing recently 4/5
It’s the most reliable and robust app for tracking and scheduling meds. Wish the crashing would stop (never done that before in the many years I’ve used it), but they’ll fix that soon enough.
Ketone tracking would be nice, or integration with HeadsUp, but hey, you can’t have everything. I’m sticking with this one.
I am on what feels like a whole pharmacy of medications that I take everyday throughout the day. With my medical conditions and the medication side effects, my memory sometimes doesn’t work so great and I was finding myself missing doses or doubling doses on accident. This app has been awesome. It reminds when to take what, points out potential interactions, reminds me when it’s time to refill, let’s me track what I’ve taken already, and gives advice on how to take the meds properly. This app has literally been a lifesaver.
Probably the slowest opening app I’ve ever seen 1/5
Seriously, this app take so long to open. It’s easily the slowest if not one of the slowest apps to open. If Apple (iOS) closes the app from running or you swipe it away, it will take forever to load up. Coming from an iPhone 11 Pro Max user.
Overall great app 4/5
By waking the hubby up
I take multiple meds (10+) at 6 different times on multiple different days and some monthly, and this app can handle all the weirdness. There are a few odd bugs.
1. The Med descriptions aren’t consistent throughout the app, ie I have injections daily that the app calls pills, same with a powder or ointment. It would be nice if when you set the type of Med to take the app would refer to it as medication or dose rather than pills. But it is great that you can set the medication description, say a green capsule. That makes it easy to identify that you are taking the right pill.
2. The medication import feature didn’t work and it wasn’t clear if that was a bug or a premium feature.
3. In several places you couldn’t tell that what you were trying to do was a premium feature until you actually tried to do it, which is frustrating,
4. I wish you could use your own voice recording for the notifications. The premium ones sound cute but, I’m not paying money for that and I’d like to be able to say something specific in the reminder alert.
5. The medication drop down label is in too large a font and it covers the text on that screen.
6. The medication drop down search list coul be more robust and include the generic names as well as the brand names.
But this is a good solid app.
Alarm needed 4/5
By kate lovel
Love this app it helps so much with keeping track of my meds by telling me if I need food with them or what they look like and even saving the exact time I took it. The only problem I have is waking up to take them. I will sleep right through my early reminders which messes up the schedule. The notification music isn’t enough to wake me up. If it was more of an alarm and went off repeatedly until I woke up and turned it off that would help wonders. I don’t want to set alarms on my phone every day and that’s why I got the app. If there’s any way to make the reminder to take the medicine more of an annoying alarm to wake me up that would just make this app perfect for me.
Really Helps 5/5
I am very pleased with the app. It really helps me to keep track of how many pills I have left of each prescription and when I need to put in for refills. Now I only run out if there is a problem with the pharmacy and not because I forgot to put in for a refill.
Best Medication App 5/5
I downloaded this app about two years ago and never had a problem wish the free version. It managed all of my many meds (about 80) and reminders. It started crashing a couple of months ago. When it got so bad I couldn’t depend on it I emailed support. It was an unusual case but Marissa kept at it, didn’t give up. After several weeks, emails and an update, we finally got it working and it’s stable.
I’ve tried shopping for other medication apps but none of them have the interface that works as smoothly as this one. I take around 15-35 pills per day and this app manages to remind me of them all and has the easy pillbox interface for loading my pillbox weekly with ease. I also like Morgan Freeman harassing me to take my meds. I’m so glad we got the app stable because there isn’t one on the market I’ve found that comes close to doing what this one does for me. Support is stellar too. I highly recommend this app. 🙏
Very Happy 5/5
Taking Rinvoq. Only medication app that lists this medication.
Doesn’t even have simple vitamins 1/5
Regular vitamin d isn’t even in here. People do take supplements too.
I depend on it 5/5
I have three different times of the day when I have to take stuff, and this reminder is perfect.
It will let me tell the app that I took my pill “Now” or “On Time,” or “Skip.” When I take the 3 am pill, I don’t have to get on my phone. But the 7 pm pill, I am usually watching tv then, and forget it almost every night, but this little app makes a special noise that sounds like a pill bottle shaking, and I remember and take it.
It’s a great app, and also has interaction info. I stopped taking a supplement because it was interfering with my blood pressure med. cool! It has Covid updates, which I find interesting.
Thanks for a wonderful product!
