    We booked Luxor and arrived at 1 in the morning after delayed long flight . Because the day is changed app can’t find the booking so had to stand in queue for 1 hour . All the guests had same issue and it was really frustrating to stand in a queue for such a long time with 3 counters open for so many guests

    This is a useless app that a four grader could’ve made better. It requires a long, ridiculous litany of verifications every single time you get on it to unlock your room. Complete waste of time!

    What’s the point of the app and putting my credit card info for checkin if I STILL HAVE TO GO TO THE FRONT DESK AND GIVE THEM A CREDIT CARD FOR MY “DIGITAL” KEY TO WORK? It’s so stupid. You’ve got all my info, let me skip the huge line at the front desk.

    I’ve reset my password many times and can login via the website with safari, but the app always says “the password entered is incorrect”. Even tried to delete and reinstall with no luck. So frustrating that basic account access doesn’t work.

    It would be nice if there was a feature to be able to download your room receipt after a stay. I never received one when I checked out. Also, the parking barcode did not work. I spent about 30 minutes trying to get into the parking garage. Very frustrating.

    We use digital keys everywhere… this one forces us to log back in from the elevator each time. Very frustrating. Shouldn’t offer it

    The MGM has you take a photo of either your driver’s license, passport or passport ID card. I’ve done so multiple times. However, it then always informs it can’t verify them, and cheerily says to check-in via the line. Frustrating and time-wasting.

    I’ve never disliked checking in so much. This thing makes you verify with, guests can’t get room keys, and everyone has to give them a card. I give up. I’m using a plastic card. Don’t stay here.

    I can say from the time I went in the front doors at all the properties they are well run. I send electronic check in and used my MGM Gold card to get extra keys an information by passing the regular check in lines. I was showed which direction to elevators as well as a valet to take my luggage up if I needed one. The room was always cleaned perfectly and I always ask for strip view and if it’s available they give it to me. I called down and ask if I could schedule times at all the restraunt’s and we got that all done quickly. I would recommend reservations in all the main restraunt’s especially steakhouses, Italian and Chinese cuisine. When going to other areas on the strip it’s important to know during special events Uber raises there rates do it’s basically close to taking a cab which in some cases saves you walking time. When weather is nice all the pools are beautiful and spacious. I like Aria a lot since breakfast and coffee are right off the elevators. Ballagio is fantastic and the steakhouse I would highly recommend and try to get good fountain view 7:00-9:00pm. Always a please to stay and again I can’t say anything bad. A lot of concerts at the Park MGM so I would recommend Aria if going to concert. All of these 5 *****. Brad K

    Tried to use this app last time in Vegas, thought the digital key would be a good idea, I was wrong. I found that I had to recheck in and confirm my id every single time. In addition I was always prompted to allow paste. One example, checked in to the app at the patisserie so that I could use my digital key to access the elevators. Arrived at my room 60s later and had to repeat the entire checkin and verify ID process again. I tried to login but the app couldn’t find my reservation under my login. So so painful, don’t use this app for room access.

    I booked a room and then decided I wanted to edited my reservation. I clicked on edit my reservation and keep getting a page that says… Oops! We can’t find that page. There was an error loading your reservation, please try again later. I waited till the next day and still got the same Oops page that pops up. If I have to call, what’s the point of having this app?

    With so many hotel apps, there’s an expectation you should be able to see your itemized receipt upon checkout, not with this app. This complaint is more of a MGM complaint than, app but it’s archaic to have to make this request while putting in hotel confirmation number, and last 4 digits of the credit card that was used (really….) - how about just include the receipt as part of the app like most other brands.

    No one is there monitoring the elevators when the card reader doesn’t work. When your app doesn’t load properly is that a guest cell phone issue or a hotel issue? Regardless, on a second issue when you are a paying customer it’s the hotel issue and you shouldn’t have to take rides up and down the elevator waiting for your app to load to the key and the to ultimately work to attempt to get to your room. Congratulations, you removed 20% of your staff. Likewise you’ve removed 33% of hotel value while increasing costs. You may have made money but your integrity is shot. Karma will come.

    Digital key doesn’t work in elevators or room. Room key QR scanner doesn’t work either. It would have been quicker just to go to the front desk in the fort place. Booo.👎

    I was hoping to use the app to simplify an upcoming trip to Vegas that I have scheduled. I have booked, through MGM‘s website, show tickets, rooms, and dining reservations. The only thing that will show up is one of my to show reservations . The other ones are all missing. Even after searching for them using confirmation numbers, MGM says that they can’t be found. it looks like I’m back to printing everything out on paper and bringing along the receipts as evidence of my reservations.

    Came out with some friends for a wedding. The room was not ready at check in. Once I got in the room there was a funky smell that was later masked by the pot smokers down the hall. there was something in that room that was tearing up my allergies as well as my wife’s. The hot water was inconsistent at best. Taking a shower took twice as long because it would lose water pressure and there would be nothing coming out of the showerhead. Highly disappointed in this hotel property. Can’t believe I paid for an upgrade. Should’ve stayed at the Holiday Inn express.

    Mobile check in does not work. 50 minute line to check in. Checked in, room not ready. 1 1/2 hours later still waiting for room to be ready. Choice of 3 tequila’s and 4 bourbons for a casino? No where to smoke a cigar; but you can smoke cigarettes all over casino. Sucked. Not coming back. We’re done.

    We understand the property is a bit on the older side, but we didn’t know we needed to pack our own cleaning supplies. The bathroom was dingy, I am pretty sure they didn’t as much as whipped the sink before we checked in, it was full of strands of blond and brunette hair. The bathroom fixtures had caked on calcium build up. We will not be staying at this property ever again.

    Lousy restaurants, ATM’s that don’t work, lack of slot attendant’s, poor slot payouts and it’s in the ghetto. Security guards are the real deal though. Nice hotel rooms, better than Foxwoods.

    I use this app about a year ago and was happy with it. A large group and I just rebooked at the Mandalay Bay for a conference and no one can reset the password to login to the MGM app. We have tried in chrome on the laptop, an incognito window, via Safari on new and updated iPhones, and other devices. No one is able to click into the text boxes to change your passwords. It’s a shame that MGM continues to have such obviously simple bugs in their app. We had a dozen people today that were trying to pay MGM money to check in early but cannot even access the app to see the reservation.

    Just like a previous customer/app user said the MGM app here and simply being an MGM rewards Customer is so NOT WORTH IT! Seriously without getting into all my issues and problems I have had over the years with MGM properties along with their awful gaming offers it’s simply not worth it. I too will be transferring all my time & gaming $$ to Cesars and their rewards program. I hear they’re so much better and loyal to their members.. like the saying goes “ Change is good”

    Clearly running in different data bases as web and rewards. Cannot login on mobile, can’t reset password, but am allowed to login just fine on website. Also cannot find reservation to mobile checkin. Now waiting in horrendous line to check in and staff is probably cut for this app. Bad idea.

    First room was gross and had to be switched. Frustrating when you arrive at 1am. There was hair in the shower and in one of the beds. The other bed had blood stained sheets. Super disappointing and gross. Guy at front desk wasn’t apologetic. Rest of stay was fine.

    Digital check in is amazing. Can’t imagine doing it any other way. One thing that seriously misses the mark… lack of Apple Watch usage. If I could use my wallet on my watch to use the digital room key then this app would be truly great. Using the phone is just chunky and inconvenient. We had physical keys made because of that.

    I purchased early checkin with the room. I arrived at Luxor around 1130 and was expecting to get my room. I also confirmed my checkin a couple days ago. Speaking to the person at the desk early checkin doesn’t mean your room will be ready at exactly 1100. So we waited and waited and waited. Finally at 1430 I talked to someone else and they confirmed that their is an issue with the app syncing. Basically because of the app I wasn’t able to check in. Ruined the whole mood.

    This app is simple app to check your mgm rewards account and doing in app check in to skip the lines at the counter but that’s about all. Every time I have purchased a late check out option via the app the hotel never seems to actually be notified I have opted for that option and have to confirm with the front desk each time. The mobile check in is good but you cannot reliably use the mobile room key to use elevators and make it up to your room.
