Microsoft PowerPoint app reviews

  • Recomendación 5/5

    By chirel2109
Excelente programa pero deberían colocar mas temas para el diseño de las láminas para las diapositivas
  • OK app, but needs work 4/5

    By Randall King
Why, every time Microsoft Office apps are updated, is the download 200-300 MB? Has Microsoft not heard of delta updates? Otherwise, good app!
  • Watch support is terrible 1/5

    By Spinescape
Getting the Apple Watch to work as a remote for PowerPoint doesn’t work nine times out of 10
  • Does not have function it should have. 2/5

    By MadisonDV
I had to get an iPad for school and this was one of the apps required. I have to use this for multiple things and I am very disappointed. I cannot use my Bluetooth keyboard to control when presenting and I cannot save power points to my Dropbox. I have tried to do this many times with many different presentations. If I didn’t need to use this app for school I would delete it does not do anything basic that it should.
  • Wow... 1/5

    By XxfrenchsuperstarxX
I was in school on my laptop there making a PowerPoint. I opened it twice, all good and a lot of work done, and at home on a different laptop I opened PowerPoint and nothing but two slides with barely ANYTHING saved! And the project is due today!!! Thanks, Microsoft, thanks. 😑
  • I can’t type 1/5

    By angelica4321
The app worked fine once but now If I double tap my keyboard won’t show.
  • Powerpointe with ipad 4/5

    By Randy Clarkson (515) 490-1748
I have trouble having PP to recognize my keyboard. Also, I can’t seem to get the cursor to relocate in the middle of a word for correcting the spelling. I do love the insert capability for phots. Overall it is pretty good. But to w rite this review I have to detach mt keyboard and have the electronic keypad appear on the screen. randy c
  • Great 5/5

    By Unknown Randown guy
Those who have school are great with this app very help, ful
  • Not Letting Me Type 1/5

    By oliveguava
This app seems really good. It seems like the ideal app for school presentations. However, when I double tap to try to edit text, the keyboard doesn't come up, so I can't type anything. I'll just use Google Slides instead. Please fix this issue.
  • Perfect for making memes on the go! 5/5

    By cheeseant
If I had a penny for every time I needed a meme for a conversation I could afford Microsoft pro! Well now with the PowerPoint app I can slap together dank memes in seconds!
  • No Free Program? 2/5

    By Crystal!!:);(
I believe PowerPoint is a great program for school, and probably your only option if you want a presentation that looks sophisticated. That being said, I’m disappointed there is no partial version for free.
  • Terrible File Handling 1/5

    By GoogleTool
It’s nice to be able to see PowerPoint file on my iPad. However, attempts to edit them are fraught with difficulty. Particularly annoying is the way the App handles cursor placement and navigation. But my greatest concern is the way this App (and all other MS Office Apps for iOS) handle files. MS has clearly structured file management to favor One Drive. Files can be opened from and saved to One Drive without difficulty. Any other file location is a problem. For example, my attempts to open files from Google Drive lead to files that are Read Only and for which I must Save A Copy. When trying to Save A Copy, with a different name, the operation Cannot Be Completed if the destination is Google Drive. Sick.
  • Solicited 1/5

    By gffdhhfdsggg
Don’t solicit me for a review. I’d like to adjust the interval time for the slides.
  • I can’t copy paste 1/5

    By Squillss
Terrible... I can’t copy paste and that is after I fight with this program to have the keyboard show up
  • Not bad so far 4/5

    By IntrepidElectronics
I use PowerPoint a lot (the desktop version) and was still using Office 2010, so I thought I'd give 365 a try. So far I am reasonably impressed by what I can accomplish on a mobile device--at least on one with a large screen. I miss all the desktop shortcuts, but I imagine there are many for the mobile version that I just haven't learned about yet, or perhaps I need to use it with a mobile keyboard. I like the automatic online storage and easy access from all my devices. So...so far, so good.
  • Won’t sync with an open presentation on my watch 1/5

    By Brocksweetness
I can’t get this app to recognize that I have an open presentation on my phone. Completely useless.
  • Sign in every time you use it? 1/5

    By ginamorrison
This would be a five star review if I didn’t have to sign into my Office 365 account almost every time I use it. Even if I use it multiple days in a row, it makes me sign back in every day. Please fix this and then the app will be great.
  • I can do my portrayed by SpongeBobs in here 5/5

    By Crystalnkw
Thank you! I’m glad to do this PowerPoint

  • Excellent Mobile Version 5/5

    By cyberbiker
The PowerPoint app for iOS has all the basics and enough of the advanced features to permit us to take business trips without a laptop. Good job Microsoft Office Team!
  • Subscription 1/5

    By Thearmyguy1
I should have an option of buying instead of paying for a subscription.
  • Convenient 5/5

    By Domerella97
Super easy to use! I was worried about the quality of use since I use this app on my iPad but it’s just like a laptop or computer of course. Love how easy it is to save and send my documents.
  • No such thing as down time 5/5

    By SonOfAPreacherMan
The value of PowerPoint availability on my iPhone is inestimable. My sermon preparation benefits greatly. There’s no such thing as down time while waiting in line at a bank, physician’s office, etc. Thank you.
  • Can’t edit data in charts... bad app 1/5

    By kshafer
Complete garbage app. Can’t use PowerPoint for what it’s meant to. Can’t edit data in charts. Just poorly written and developed app. Don’t get.
  • Works great 5/5

    By ngrbro98
Works just as it should I love it
  • PP IPAD 3/5

    By Aldea Felix
No es tan buena como antes. Sacrificamos sencillez. Las tabletas son herramientas de trabajo on the go. Este PP no te permite hacer NADA. Es terrible....
  • Shouldn’t updates fix problems, not make them worse? 1/5

    By Peach383
Lost all my saved highlighters, randomly restarts, and still opens random presentation when launched.

  • This doesn’t work for me. 1/5

By ITS SO KEWL AND AWESOME
This doesn’t work for me. I double tap like it says to type something. But when I do, my keyboard don’t show up. What is the point of this for iPads. You really got to know how to do this. Next time please check.
  • Amazing 5/5

    By ELLA BELLA 20
This PowerPoint app is the best I have made many PowerPoint with it I love it so much
  • Its ok but I think it missing something 3/5

    By TheSmashRainbowGem
I used this app I think is ok
  • Add ability to toggle using timings like on PC 4/5

    By stephkpalmer1
For what I use PowerPoint for, the ability to toggle using timings on slides, is a plus because I usually don’t need timings but it’s on automatically set on the app and that does not help me. If this one simple tool was available on the app, I would not even need my MacBook anymore. Please fix it!
  • Awesome app 5/5

    By Yumz2x
So glad they made PowerPoint into an app!!!! I don’t know if I wouldn’t have graduated college without it !!!
  • Really??? 1/5

    By spoon octoling
Do I really have to do all my information just to edit it!?!
  • Useless without a 365 Subscription 1/5

    By theotherkinseyinstitute
I paid $10-$20 for this app, and for what? The ability to see already created ppt slides? You can’t edit anything, you can’t create anything... it is completely useless. Apparently, you even need a specific 365 subscription. Turns out I *do* have a 365 subscription through my work, but it isn’t the right kind for using this app. Again, totally useless.
  • Glaring flaw 1/5

    By The Biker
I use PowerPoint on my PC and iPad, with the files I edit sitting in my iCloud Drive. I rehearsed an early draft of my presentation on my iPad then spent several days working on my presentation on my PC. I then opened up PowerPoint on my iPad and it overwrote the version of my presentation saved by my PC to iCloud, without warning, with the old version I’d opened days before on my iPad. I lost several days of work due to the bizarre auto save feature. If I’d waited to put the presentation on my iPad until the morning of my presentation I would have nothing to show after it overwrote the most recent version. Why PowerPoint would auto save when there’s a more recent time stamp on the system file is beyond me. This is a fatal flaw that makes this program one star to me. Otherwise it’s a great app, but I could have lost my job due to the overwrite so its hard to recommend this app to anyone working on presentations that matter.
  • Very fun to use. 5/5

  • Rikki tiki 4/5

    By hope chaple
I love power point but they should make the headings on the stuff more under standing and give picture designs because my pics are like all over the place.
  • Good App 4/5

    By Kracklepopped
This is a good app, and I recommend it. However, I cannot get the Apple Pencil to stop drawing on slides. Sometimes I just want to use it to navigate slides, but it just draws. Even with both the in app and iPhone settings option turned off.
  • Thank you 5/5

    By giviivivk
I really appreciate that there is an app that you can do everything with it and do your daily projects for college thanks.
  • PowerPoint 4/5

    By Cee C33
Super happy that this application is compatible with apple. I am able to generate my PowerPoint while in class etc.
  • Thanks Microsoft corporation to made this app 4/5

    By noob and pro gamer
    Thanks
  • Great until you write too much 3/5

    By Joshthebear64
I use PowerPoint for direct note taking in class and I love it. My biggest complaint is that if I’m writing extensive notes on the PowerPoints the app begins to slow down and freeze. This has been a frequent issue of mine on more than just PowerPoint. I have experienced freezing and slow down on Word (far more than any other) and OneNote (after I’ve written the equivalent of 3-5 lectures worth of notes). Also the hand resting note taking works, but I feel could be drastically improved.
  • Sooo great 5/5

By im soooo done right now
    Easy and acessable
  • Better and better. 5/5

    By DonnieNickey
I use ppt daily and the morph transition is amazing!
  • Won’t let you type 1/5

    By Regretting my choice
So my computer is not working again, so I downloaded this app, and I’m so happy because I can finally get some of my college papers done. Well I was wrong. The keyboard won’t pop up and everything is just weird. It’s not what I expected or hoped for, or more importantly really needed. FYI, I used my phone. Don’t have iPad or an Apple Watch. Just my very large iPhone. And a presentation due tomorrow at 12:00, with a 5pg paper, and at 9:00 another paper that is about 2-3pg long.
  • Please fix the text selection and cursor error! 1/5

    By chrinist
Please fix the text selection on this app. When I hold the space bar down to move my text cursor around the screen, the cursor immediately moves to the top left of my PowerPoint and I can’t move it back down to the bottom of the screen. This is a major problem. Also, when I am trying to select 1 word to delete or modify, there is no “Select”option. It is simply a “Select All” which is extremely annoying because then every word on the ppt slide is now selected when I was simply wanting to edit 1 word:/
  • So far so good. 5/5

    By Sccolodoc
I have been using keynote and then converting to ppt in the past but have be n frustrated by inaccurate conversion, etc. I did not want a PC as I love my apple products. Thankfully I tried PowerPoint on my iPad and have b en very happy with functionality.
