Microsoft PowerPoint app reviews

  • Awful. Nothing works. 2/5

    By Danyel M
Is has never worked quite well, from slides turning invisible to the app crashing mid-editing. Im not sure if its because of the last iOS actualization, but yall need to do something about it ASAP.
  • Cannot use the keyboard 1/5

    By nicked_1738
Every time I try to create a PowerPoint and try to type the keyboard doesn’t ever come up. Please fix.
  • Doesn’t work with school accounts 1/5

    By jefdiennrel
It never let me sign in with school account even though I typed in my password and username correctly.
  • PLEASE ADD ABILITY TO SAVE AS HANDOUT !! 1/5

    By Ayu Chan
Keynotes only saves the handout horizontally & not paper. PowerPoint on the computer can save it to a paper size with 3 or 6 slides with note lines. Please add that onto the app as well!!!
  • Run from Microsoft 1/5

    By JohnnyM128
Every new update of their software contains bugs and wastes time. Microsoft Technical Support is an oxymoron. If you wish to waste time with broken components and deal with completely inept support personnel, then Microsoft is the way to go!!
  • Why not like in Windows 10 3/5

    By Raym no2
Not bad but missing a lot of features. I would like to have the full version (ok less the more than one person working on a file at a time) and “pay” Microsoft for it. I am retired individual I can save to buy special items but can not afford monthly subscription services. This is available with windows 10 but not IOS.
  • John32.com 5/5

    By MyFathersHouseICDC.com
So convenient to have this at my finger tips on my I pad.
  • Difficult App 1/5

    By Perdro122122
This is the most difficult app to use, Apple’s version of keynote is so much easier to use than this junk.
  • Mostly good, room for improvement 3/5

    By Shiloh Graves
This app is mostly good, but I have encountered an error when taking notes in presentation mode. Sometimes I the ability to swipe between slides goes away and every stroke I make to attempt to do so just puts ink on the slide. It often takes many attempts to get the functionality bar to drop down from the top so that I can exit and re-enter presentation mode, which then usually fixes the problem for a time. In general, I think Microsoft could improve the functionality of the PowerPoint app to include the features of OneNote within a ppt presentation format and do away with one note altogether, thus eliminating the need to export ppts into one note.
  • Please add offline support! 1/5

    By chrinist
I hate having to constantly be connected to the internet to download my PowerPoint slides when I wish I could have them saved for offline viewing on my iPad. Please fix this massive oversight.

  • Made me lose my data, 0 stars 1/5

    By Ash Ketchum II
It said auto save, and it still didn’t save! Never download this! And this stupid thing gave the same name twice so I had to replace it! Where is that stupid redo button?!

  • App is great but alerts are annoying 4/5

    By Dirt_McGirt
The app itself is great. I entered a review because it continued to ask me every time I logged into the app. I consider that very annoying and have deducted a star for that reason.
  • PowerPoint 5/5

    Excellent tool to have

    By Sertfur
    Good stuff
  • I cant work with this 3/5

    By ¥£ZZ¥
I can’t even type any words into the text box anymore .
  • Ruler in PowerPoint? 1/5

    By Hustlabgame
Why does PowerPoint get a ruler and not OneNote? I’ll pay for a subscription if I have to but get me a digital ruler omg
  • Issues 2/5

    By khaled columbus oh
    1. There needs to be better integration with the Files app. Being stuck to opening files back and forth is not an acceptable solution 2. Stop asking for reviews!
  • Forgotten password 1/5

    By No Name 73746822
I put the password that I always use for all my accounts, but it doesn’t let me sign in. So then I go to forgotten password and I put in my email, and it’s said invalid email. Now I have to restart my whole project.
  • Simply Outstanding 5/5

    By RB6709
I use this ap every single day.
  • No Google Drive Support is a Negative 3/5

    By Anonymous-Apple
The app would be much better if there was syncing with my Google Drive allowed. I’m not even allowed to make edits if I open the file locally from my Google Drive for iPad.
  • Glitchy 2/5

    By Sinney<3Corey
Every time I go to a different app, not closing the PowerPoint app, it crashes and starts over, losing my place in the presentation. Writing is a pain, erasing is a pain. There could be improvements. Otherwise, I like it. I use it for school, so I need it.
  • Unable to copy file from pc to iPhone 1/5

    By esplowboy
I installed PowerPoint on my iPhone but am unable to copy PowerPoint presentation from my PC to my iPhone 7 Plus either by one drive or iTunes.
  • Palm detection 4/5

    By Crunkindian
Add palm detection so when writing on slides for iPad it doesn’t select random pictures or text boxes on the screen. Very frustrating. Thank you1.
  • Don’t want to Download 1/5

    By xiimmeenna
It does not want to download on my mobile service
  • Good 4/5

    By wiggly_jiggly_giggles
Good application. Hey, could you please allow the user the option to long press or an alternate selection option to activate the area to type in, instead of double tapping? The double tapping has caused shuffling of the box to type text in and complete wonky mishaps.
  • Infinite loop? 3/5

    By Nickname of Nicknames
Love all the office apps but running into an infinite loop in trying to sign into my work account where it recognizes my email and tells me to sign in when I am signing in. Even though the sign in and sign up are a combined process in the app it won't let me sign in.
  • Soooooo good! 5/5

    By jeff the doofus
I think this app is great
  • slow!! 1/5

    By ({ madam addy })
I’m just trying to get pictures off my phone and go ahead and put them on a powerpoint so i can do the powerpoint on my computer. i go onto my account and it’s not there. i go to the app and it said pending. it had been an hour??? i’m not happy with this app at all.
  • Still a long way to go 3/5

    By Jerome.s
Basic features like setting image transparency color are boldly missing, making this revision ok to display but largely insufficient to edit.
  • Great use on iPad 5/5

    By dugsug
I can easily edit And it’s not too small Love it
  • Class notes 3/5

    By Noobatthus
I wish there was a way to switch views in program so that you could take notes next to or around the slide with a tablet pen. Having to write over or try and move things out of the way to try and write legible notes is annoying and doesn’t always work out well.
  • Title 5/5

    By moreno624
    Noice
  • Limited creative options 2/5

    By mimi_rbn
I would like to have the same options as the desktop version.
  • Sign in 3/5

    By hate nick name denial
It seems I am being asked to sign in multiple times. It could be that I’m using too many devices (so the fault may be mine 3 devices at different times) The program is very easy to use when developing a presentation. It is frustrating though when I think I have saved something and find out when I go to open it on another device it isn’t there because I was somehow knocked out of the system.
  • Another Numbingly Lame App by MS 1/5

    By Pdx_biker9
I have to use office 365 at work and was told oneDrive was great to use since I could edit my files on personal devices while out of the office. Well I’m on vacation and need to send out a report. Got onto onedrive - clugey file structure but worked. I opened the file in ppt to make a few small changes and ... impossible. The app won’t let me make a simple edit to an html text on a page. When I exit it saves my mistakes without asking, so now I’ve screwed up my file. I can’t make a SIMPLE change to my ppt to get my report out. I’ll stick with vpn and a full sized computer or convert the entire thing to IOS files and edit with apple’s stuff next time. Another waste of time trying to get MS software to work.
  • PowerPoint on my iPad 4/5

    By 1970Pattie
I have recently retired and begun using an iPad, wanting to untether from a home computer. I purchased a PowerPoint and 360 subscription for my iPad. I was able to easily create a nice slide presentation including diagrams and photos, so I rate that aspect 5 stars. I haven’t found a way to convert my slides to a handout with 4 or 6 slides to a page, and haven’t gotten an answer from Help, so no stars for that. Overall, I like the program, and hope I can find all the functions I want on it.
  • New feature 4/5

    By Reddimples90
I wish there was away to add music audio to the PowerPoint
  • This app is amazing 5/5

    By mstar23
The app is just like if you were to use in the computer the app have great features and I use it to edit videos awesome and it really works
  • Great app can improve 4/5

    By Gavix
The app is fantastic, but it has limits and difficulties. The biggest annoyance is how difficult it is to edit a slide. It needs to come with a small tutorial.
  • Limited for iPad - even paid version! 3/5

    By ManNurse7
Would be nice if you could actually hide all the thumbnails to have more surface area to do your slides. Would also be nice to be able to have a black or darker background on the edit area sort of like Keynote instead of all white and bright.
  • Repetitive sign ins led to lost slides 1/5

    By Hmyhung
Each time I use the app it forgets i am a subscriber. When I tried to save my presentation it requested me to sign in again and lost half of my presentation. Hours of effort gone in a second
  • Please read this! 4/5

    By L3^3I$
Please make it so you can move your PowerPoint to your photos! Please read it!
