Trackpad Support Is Needed ASAP! 1/5
As of July 3rd, 2020, there is STILL NO TRACKPAD SUPPORT. We are going on three months now where Microsoft refuses to update their apps to support trackpads- it is infuriatingly buggy. Often, trackpad input is either not recognized or requires multiple clicks, if it gets recognized at all! Almost every other app has stepped up, and I will update from 1 star when this glaring omission is fixed.
This version of Word, although less powerful than for Mac or PC is much more pleasant to use, in my opinion. Word for Mac is just an ugly, slow and unintuitive app.
However, we have had trackpad support in iPadOS since March 24th! Why haven’t you added this to the Office apps for Mac? Trackpad support is non-existent, and taps/clicks often fail to register at all! Please add trackpad support ASAP- it have been over two months, and those of us who use iPads as writing and productivity tools needed this MONTHS ago.
Long time friend 5/5
WORD has been my long time friend.
Crashes when i try to do anything after logging in 1/5
Including signing up for subscription l you’d think they’d ant my money.
I have used word on pc for years. This app is bad I mean for what you pay to what you get is straight garbage would not tell anyone to download don’t waste the space on you device or you money!!!
Best software UI I’ve ever used! 5/5
I’d say this app has helped me in so many ways! It has helped me in the times that I needed to write my book and/or review it. As goes for anything else, it has been a reliable source to get my work done. These would include, “Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.” It has also helped in management and scheduling during moments when I need to.
Other than that, I’d say Office365 (Microsoft365) would be a recommend app for those who like to work.
Editing documents 2/5
Cannot edit documents.
I love this app to update my resume when I don’t have a computer available.
What is wrong with this app??? 1/5
What ever I do I can’t close the split screen! Who thought this split screen between to documents on an iPad was a good idea!!!
works beautiful, need full support on iPad Magic Keyboard though.
Word review 1/5
I’m not stupid, but Word is not easy to use!

Some bugs when using iPad Magic Keyboard 3/5
By Jus d'Orange
There are some bugs with the program when using it with the iPad Magic Keyboard. The keyboard portion works fine. It’s the trackpad input that Word needs to improve on.
There are times when using the trackpad to select a command or doing an option-click that the app doesn’t register the input.
No envelope option 2/5
You have everything but an option to make envelopes. It’s terrible.
Best mobile app by far 5/5
This is great 5/5

This word on the phone is amazing. Everything that i saved on my pc is here on the iPhone
No trackpad support 1/5
There is no trackpad support - the cursor does not transform into a text selector. It’s been over 8 months since iPadOS was released with mouse and keyboard support. Why isn’t Word functional yet?
This was my first time using word on a small device (IPad). It was very easy to use this tool to do the same things I did on my laptop or desktop. If there was something I couldn’t figure out the search bar was a very handy tool.
Good to using
Easy and efficient 5/5

I COULDN’T EVEN WRITE!!!!!

Dark mode needed 4/5
Much prefer to Pages for ease of use and Google because of privacy. However, no way to have black background while working. It’s EXTREMELY bright at night.
Student account stopped working, can’t login, and microsoft customer support is terrible. 1/5
My password stopped working for some reason, but I can’t retrieve it because I need to contact my IT department at school... Great! First off, other than using my University email, my University has absolutely nothing to do with the microsoft accounts. I’m simply just using my school email. Secondly, because of COVID-19 , my tech department isn’t around very much. So, now I’m stuck without word because no one can help. Thanks Microsloft. Great job making it impossible for students to retrieve their account and/or change passwords. Also, great job really sticking it to the user with this subscription garbage.
Makes work easy 5/5
Have used Word for years, both on my IPad and laptop. It allows me to be more productive and produce professional documents. Recommended.
I just love Word. 5/5
By Best Selling Novel Hopefully?
I’m a twelve year old girl. I am currently working on my first novel, and Word is fantastic. I can access it from my phone, laptop, and anywhere else I can get internet. It has so many amazing features that make the book seem more fun, like changing the font slightly to make something pop out at you so you take the time to notice something is weird, and you remember that line. It is also so very easy to switch to italic, and in writing novels I do that a lot. It’s so much more simple than a lot of other apps, yet complex enough to have great features. Five star rating, great job Word.
Word app on my phone is amazing! 5/5
I’m so glad Office 365 offers software on your phone! It has made life so easy!
Not like the PC version 1/5
I am using an ipad, if I didn’t need Word for work I wouldn’t be paying for this app monthly.
Won’t load properly 1/5
When I open a shared document with word it only shows a previous version and won’t update to the new changes that someone else made to the document.
Love it! 5/5

Useless without 360 subscription except as a viewer 1/5
They seem to have fixed the connectivity issues I complained about before. As of one of the last updates MS decided to force you to get an office 360 subscription to save changes, since I can view word files in Dropbox and will never subscribe to 360 (instead of using desktop apps) I will delete this app to save space. Microsoft seems to have it out for loyal users. They remove historically supported keystroke commands, updates make their products less useful in order to better extract money from their customers. If you can find an alternative- use it, Microsoft considers you a revenue stream to be manipulated and exploited - not a customer who is entitled to usable products that function well.
For real? 2/5
Nothing special. It’s hard to really utilize all of words features through a phone
Dosn’t work?? 1/5
I’m not sure why but the app won’t let me wright or edit anything. I used to use it all the time then one day it just stopped. I can open a file but it says to sign in if I want to edit it and when I sign in it says I’m good but then nothing changes. I’ve tried closing the app and restarting, I’ve uninstalled the app and reinstalled, I’ve even created a new account and paid for the subscription, but to no avail. It does not let me wright anything, I’m using an iPhone 8, and I used to use it on an iPhone 5. It is simply useless now.
Didn’t get the app but... 5/5
By im bored so im writing this 😕
Other Microsoft products are traditionally good. I didn’t get the app but I’m bored so I’m typing this review. 😐
Unusable on iPad Pro 11inch 1/5
Trying to complete work on this is horrible. It’s slow, lacks basic functions, and does not have apple keyboard support. Microsoft seems to be intentionally slow with these updates. Cancelled my subscription.
So nice 💞
Lost 10 years of data!!!! 1/5
By blocks other games
Word would not open and directed me to go to App Store and reinstall. I had to delete it first to reinstall. I’ve had this for over 10 years and LOST ALL MY FILES!!!!
I honestly don’t see how this app has so many positive reviews. It is a good word processor but the “open document” function is insanely horrible. Like most people, I work with Directory‘s that have multiple documents in them. If I can’t see the most recent document the open documents function is of no use. All this money and Microsoft can’t figure this out… Pathetic and lazy.

Lost Everything 1/5
By Angry Angry Amp
Auto Save didn’t save any of my work despite saying it saved periodically. I lost hours of work when Word crashed.
The ALP is very handy for me as I can carry and edit my books and documents in my pocket!
