MOST AMAZING GAME IN EVERU WAY! 5/5
this game is amazing! I've played 1 and 2, the puzzles are not too hard but not to easy either, the sound is wonderful, the illusions are fun, and the story is great!
I highly recommend getting this game and the second one too!
Overhyped Millennial Crap 1/5
By This one time...
Monument Valley felt like it was trying to make a point, like look at me, look at how cool I am.
For a puzzle game, the gameplay was average, graphics decent, story??? This game didn’t live up to they hype for me. I would give it more stars if there was more humble and less brag.
I love this game! 5/5
I haven’t downloaded this game yet, as a matter of fact it’s loading right now, but I have played it on my iPad. It have great graphics and its levels are really fun! I do wish that they were harder though so it took longer to complete. However, it is an amazing game if you love illusions and I would definitely recommend.
Best. Game. Ever. 5/5
By Lily DeLaPena
I love this game so much. The puzzles are just the right amount of confusing that anyone can play and get through it but you must think first. Even when it is frustratingly confusing, the graphics and sound help to calm you down and think of another way. The game is very creative, and there are barely any words, so you must figure it out for yourself what is going on and find meaning in it. It is short, but forgotten shores is totally worth it and adds eight chapters! The only game better than Monument Valley is MVII (Monument Valley 2).
How in the heck is this game do pretty like oml I love the look, it is simple, relaxing, pretty, and the sounds, I love this game
Beautiful but easy. I paid how much?? 3/5
By Friend of the pod.
Gorgeous game but I finished it expecting more levels or something else to happen. Turns out, nope end of game. Why is this so expensive?! I got more use out of temple run!
But, still fun and beautiful! I just think it could have more for cost.
I’ve enjoyed Monument Valley One and Two 5/5
The biggest problem I have with this game as I go through the puzzles too fast. And that’s not because they’re simple... but because I can’t stop playing. They are fascinating, and addictive.
Love it 5/5

This game is down right lovely the visuals and underlying story here is fantastic! Though I do have one major question:
When is the next game coming out?!
too easy 3/5
By Pourya Pouzesh
It is toooo easy. Each level 1 minute 😕
Some people are stupid enough not to pay attention to the storyline of Ida and her quest to right the wrongs of her past. But if you are not ignorant and enjoy a beautiful aesthetically pleasuring game that take simple concepts and challenges you then this is the perfect game.
Its extremely artistic and i have played through it several times. I love Ida and the ending to this game is satisfying and again, beautiful.
This game is relaxing and great to play in your free time it was definitely worth the couple dollars. People are entitled to their opinions of this game but I truly believe that if you dislike this game so much you are ignoring the most important parts of it and not taking the time to appreciate the craftsmanship of the game. This game is not meant to be rushed and if you look at this as only a puzzle to solve you will not be satisfied.
Travel along with Ida in her journey and enjoy the ride.
Gameplay ??? 4/5
It’s amazing overall. I really enjoyed playing it. But it only took me a few hours to complete. But that’s my only problem. It runs smooth on older devices which is sort of rare. This is a great game but it’s not worth 3.99
An escape 5/5
As someone who suffers from bad anxiety, this game has really been there for me to calm me down and distract me from worrying. The levels are beautifully made and just easy enough that I don’t get frustrated. The story is sparse, but honestly I love it more because you can replay it and fill in the gaps with your own story ideas. I constantly come back to this game just for the feeling of calm it gives me every time through the stunning graphics, sound, and game play. Wish it was longer, but worth every penny.

Not to impressed yet, but it is interesting. If you want to see
a game that is beautiful, touching and works your mind then you need to download-Old Mans Journey. I'm not giving up
on Monument Valley yet. I'm glad these types of games exist. They are much better than fast paced, arcade type. This game grows on you, worth paying for!
Aesthetics and discovery in an ancient mother-axis 5/5
The puzzles are not deep and difficult and are not designed to be. They are relaxing and engaging and conjure a world of forced perspective and creative dimensions. The story line only hints and suggests tales and deeds of a magical and foreign realm. Both I and II are well worth the few bucks it costs to launch yourselves into a strange and yet familiar universe.
That was the most relaxing game I’ve ever played. Thank you
This game is so fun and I love it.
Not worth the money. 1/5
While the game was okay, the puzzles were very easy, more or less point and click your way through the “story”. Four dollar for such little content(10 levels) is absurd, and two additional dollars for only 8 more levels is also absurd. Yeah the graphics are interesting, but if you want real puzzles, go download a free block puzzle game. Hundreds of levels with a few ads is a much better puzzle experience.
Overall fun.. but a few notes 3/5
1. For the price the gameplay was rather short. I think I finished this game in about 5 hours my first time through.
2. I did not find this game very challenging. Every time I completed a level it felt like it was just finding its stride.
I think this is a beautiful and fun game but it felt more like a relaxing experience than a challenging one and for the price I want to feel like I accomplished something!
Also if you think you will like this just buy both versions in the bundle. I don’t want to buy the second because $12 seems like way too much.
iPhone X Support 1/5
Come on...you updated Monument Valley 2. Update this one.
Stunningly beautiful 5/5
This is such a stunningly beautiful game. I loved every minute of it. Yes it’s short and it would be lovely if it were a longer game but a lot of work went into this. I paid the extra for the other levels and was not disappointed. I will be getting the second game after I finish this. Some of the puzzles were easy but some did catch me and took a bit longer. I didn’t read reviews before purchasing it. I got the name from a search of the best puzzle games and it truly is. My advice would be to buy the package with both games included because you will want to play the next one.
Monument 1 has glitch on Ch. 8 2/5
Between end of chapter 7 and beginning of chapter 8 the game is stuck. Frustrating! Says it’s loading and the music is playing, but the screen is black. Ran into the issue on iPhone. Was able to enter game through Monument 2 on iPad, but it just stalled again at the same place. Please fix this bug.
Not much monuments here! 1/5
Sure, this app is pleasant to look at. But if you’re just learning how different games work, don’t come here! There are NO helps, or hints anywhere if you get stuck! I tried this for about 15” after purchasing - got to level 4, then got stuck with what to do after Ida walks upside down. I looked and looked - nothing I could see to do - as I said, I’m new at games like this. So, I’m done with it - no way to move on, and I’m out $4!
I played this game years ago and I still love it. It is an immersive, fun, and challenging game. Aside from an interesting story the illusion and art work truly takes this game beyond the name of an app.
Beautiful game but very short 3/5
I loved Monument Valley and was very excited to see a second installment. The game is stunning and I enjoyed playing. However, for the price I was a little disappointed that it was so short.
It’s a perfectly good game, the puzzles are interesting and fun to play, but for only ten levels, the price seems a bit steep to me. If you’re good at spatial puzzles you could probably beat the whole game in under an hour, and 4$ for that short a game doesn’t seem worth the money to me no matter how pretty it is.

By Awsome DEVIN
I LOVE THIS GAME all the twists and turns and the story it’s great I love the ending the puzzles really get your mind on and a really great lovable game I just love the game thank you for making it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not a lot of choices but fun and beautiful. Some are hard!
Beautiful Game 5/5
Graphics are beautiful and fun puzzles with a story that is told so well through playing
Great aesthetics. Astonishingly short and simple. 1/5
The game looks well polished, but that’s about it. Throughout the game, I kept expecting for it to pick up or offer an actual challenging puzzle... and then it was over. I can’t fathom how this game is so highly reviewed. There is absolutely no substance and takes less than 30 minutes to finish.
Sounds and graphics were amazing. A+ and 10/10 would recommend.
Nice use of simple graphics but the game lasts maybe an hour and it’s never very fun.
So calming, so relaxing, and just an amazing game 5/5
Yes, it is short. Yes, you probably will finish it in 3 days or less. But those three days will be Absolutely Amazing with this game
Good game, but way to short 2/5
Great game, but for the money a bad investment should be free for the amount of content in game. Overall, it's a fantastic game, but not worth the money due to it lacking a lot content.
Love it 4/5
By Justin Wills
Love this game, absolutely beautiful layout and only had extreme difficulty twice.
What a beautiful game! 5/5
I rarely pay for games, but this one was well worth it! The designs and colors are beautiful, the music us relaxing and the puzzles are intriguing. Love everything about this game!
Level 4 Keeps Glitching 2/5
It’s a beautiful game & the puzzles are fun without being over bearing. Seems like the perfect game to lay back & relax with. But for some reason, level 4 (Water Garden, I believe? Something like that) won’t load properly, which is kind of disappointing when you pay for an app. I’d give this game a higher review if the developer would fix this glitch, but still a little let down since I’ve had this game saved to buy for months & now have to deal with a menial glitch.
By Geo-dash luver
I personally loved this game. Even though it didn’t relate very much to the first game, the aesthetics and scenery were amazing. The story wasn’t the best but I am probably missing a big piece of it. I just want to say thank you to the creators for making another beautiful game!
Beautiful and peaceful 4/5
I love these games. I made my wife play it and she was hooked immediately as well. It took me about 3 hours to finish MV1 with taking multiple breaks and about 1.5 hours to finish MV2 while putting my son to bed (he likes me in the room while he knocks out, so I took advantage of the free time 😊). The levels were not hard at all and that is my only complaint. If they had more chapters and a bit harder levels, it would be perfect, but I felt like I blew through the games because I anticipated the moves at first glance in every level. I think for almost 9$, I should have had a harder time with it and had more game play. I paid 6.99 for the two apps, plus 1.99 to open extra levels in MV1. For the artistry alone, it is worth the price, but for the intensity it’s not. I would recommend it solely because of visually beauty and because one can tell that it took a lot of love and time to make this game. It’s near perfect!
Sound doesn’t work 1/5
Not sure what’s wrong, settings say it’s on. :( it’s a shame, I loved the first game so much, but part of the experience was the beautiful sounds and music.
Just walk away 3/5
It’s a very nice game but for $5 I didn’t expect to only get about 10 levels and beat them all in 2 days 😔
There should be more worlds. There’s no need for a 2 when the amount of boards available should be joined in 1. Seems like a bit of a scam. The concept from 1 is the same in 2. Use your brain to get to the next board. Nothing made me feel like 2 was a big upgrade of difference from the first. 🤷🏽♀️ if a 3 is made I’m not getting it. I feel like I already know what it’s gonna be about.
Bad game 1/5
Idas dream restarts each time I log off
Not worth the $ 2/5
I bought the package deal with both MV 1 & 2 included, and yes, both were intriguing to play, and the story was a fun add-in, but I finished both games in 1 day? I should have saved my money.
I love the storyline about a young girl who embarks in an adventure to save her people. I love the fact it is outside the box. It is an original idea . Words can’t describe the game it is that good. Highly recommend
Too short 4/5
Would have given a 5 star if the game was any longer. I finished in one day though that might be because I’m addicted.
Augh! SO MUCH EASIER than Monument 1. 😡 3/5
I am so disappointed in how easy this game was. I completed it in no time at all... Yes, the graphics are really nice, but even the graphics don’t come anywhere near as great as Monument 1. If you’re considering buying this, but haven’t played Monument 1, forget this one. Buy Monument 1. This one is frankly a waste of $ - unless they drop the price to under a dollar. It *might* be worth it at that price, if you’re not looking for much of a challenge, but rather something to just relax with. Even the sounds & music in this one is disappointing!
This game did a great job with the puzzles with the way you walk. The story is amazing how you get bits of it and you have to piece it together to find out what is happen with Ida (I think that is the name). But my only complaint is how long the game is. This game would’ve been even better if it lasted longer. Or maybe a build mode and play other ppl puzzles. But maybe the expansion pass would fix it.
By NAY NAY LEE ROSE
Couldn't sleep until I beat both games and forgotten shores. Even at work I would play.
The first one took me a 4 days to complete this one took me two. You guys worked hard on this one .. the graphics and display are both beautiful and the music ties in great with each level. I would have preferred harder puzzles. But thanks guys your all rad ! :)
