Works perfect 5/5
This app is a perfect way to read the Muscle & Fitness magazine digitally. I am able to read the full magazine from the app after purchasing the monthly issue, or you can purchase the whole year in the app as well.
I am able to read offline, make notes on pages, and the app saves where you were in the magazine for when you reopen the app. I have also experienced no bugs or glitches. These are all issues that seem to have been resolved from the previous comments.
I would highly recommend if you want to read the magazine from a mobile device.
App subscription can’t be used on iPad 1/5
I purchased the app subscription on my iPhone, downloaded the app on to my iPad and the iPad doesn’t allow me to download and read it.
BTW, it’s the same iTunes account on both iPhone and iPad....
I’m still waiting for someone to get back to me and it’s been over a week....

Took my money and I get no product. Can’t speak to a human to get the service to work.
Keeping Crashing 1/5
Keeping crashing. It takes forever to read!
Won't register my account , worthless 1/5
Just keep getting server error.
Where's is aprils issue 2/5
Usually good but where's April 2017
Missing April 2017 3/5
I like the app and the magazine but why is April 2017 issue still not available as of 06 April 2017?
Where's April? 2/5
April 2017 issue is not on the app.
Usually good 4/5
By Kevin Terrance
App usually good, but April 2017 issue not showing up.
i thought that it would give free workouts but it doesnt n u have to buy the magazines
So many ads it should be free 1/5
Ads until page 17. Table of contents. More ads.
Images are stretched to fit my iPhone 6s Plus.
No reader to view just text.
Technical Issues 2/5
Magazines have serious technical issues, navigation does not work sometimes. App support link from the App Store doesn't even work. Wish I could get a refund on my subscription, waste of money.
I love but it's got some technical issues 4/5
By Movie Ninja
The app is great and easy to operate. You get everything you get in a physical copy of the magazine. Past issues are available, along with some free ones. The main problems I've encountered were the pages were not HD, no book marking, and page numbering was off from the magazines index. So if you zoomed in on workouts or want the text larger it's pixels are visible. If you exit the app while reading an issue and re-open it you start back to the beginning of the magazine. When reading an article in an issue mentioning the a page further in the magazine the pages did not match up to what is displayed in the app as in the pages. But these are easily fixed in later updates, just hope it happens.
Love the magazine, but the iPad app needs work 2/5
By Brett Melillo
Aside from it not being on par with other magazine apps that have more interactive reading experiences, the most annoying thing about this app is it doesn't support multitasking. If I go to another app and quickly come back, it doesn't remember which issue I had open or where I left off reading. This is horribly annoying and I'm not going to read any more issues until it's fixed because it just takes too much time trying to find my spot over and over again.
Continues to crash 1/5
app crashes within seconds of opening it and I can no longer read any of the issues I paid for
iOS 9 update... This app doesn't load 1/5
By L.A rise
Before the update app worked perfect 5 stars! Now App just crashes as soon as you open it. Why did I pay for this... Fix it asap! iOS 9 update keep up please
Continuously crashes - unreadable magazine 1/5
I have had this magazine for a little while now and was having little to no trouble. Recently, I have had continuous crashing and have not been able to read any of the last few issues I have missed. I am only a electronic subscriber and will drop this magazine pretty soon due to being unable to read them. I am quite disappointed in purchasing a magazine and being unable to read it.
A Real Poor App 2/5
Instead of letting you keep the magazine in your newsstand like every other publication the geniuses at muscle and fitness make you read it through an app. Meaning if you don't bookmark your page every time you're done reading and close it you have to physically swipe x amount of pages to get where you left off. As a criticism more of the publication than the app I have noticed the add to content ratio is definitely in favor of adds. If it's not a 50/50 split between advertisements and actual content then it has to be close to it. Absolutely awful. I will NOT be renewing.
Every time I want to read it on my iPhone 6 plus current version it restarts the phone please fix this bug thanks
No active subscription 1/5
Feb 2015 I paid for the subscription (one year) offer off $9.99, guess what i got Feb issue after that nothing, there is not option to get my March issue. You go to settings on the application, click on missing issues after 2 or 3 min can't connect to the server and appears subscription " no active " so i paid $9.99 for one issue. Be Careful they will rip you off.
Needs update 2/5
App crashes and doesn't display the magazine at all. Each issue said "not designed for iPhone"
dissapointed update 2/5
A lot issues will pop up a dialog say "the issue is not designed for iPhone, bla bla bla…" Please fix the bug
Those ads that you can buy straight from make the app freeze on iPhone 6. Once it gets to that it is frozen every time
Unable to download new issues 1/5
Do not subscribe. You will not be able to download issues. M&F and developers please fix this.
Horrible app 1/5
It crashes when opening on my iPad. This is something easy to get right. I will not be renewing because the magazine cannot be read on my iPad.
Zero stars if possible 1/5
By Avid Image
The program is unable to download issues most of the time and when you can download issues, download time is terribly slow and they mysteriously disappear off of my iPad for no reason. I'm glad I'm getting the paper issues cause I would go nuts if I had depend on the digital version.
Great app and magazine. A lot if interactivity in each issue.
Fix it! 1/5
Magazine has not worked in 2 months. Deeply broken digital magazine with poor design layout. Would like a refund.
Fix this app!!!! 2/5
I love this magazine, but I am really getting tired of having to delete the app and reload it just to see the latest issue. Once I open an issue, I can no longer get out of the issue without deleting the whole app. This is ridiculous! Please fix this. All I want to do is be able to read any of the magazines i've purchased at anytime without the pain of having to download everything again after reloading the app. Again, please fix this!
This is awesome! 5/5
I think the 1 star reviews were for the old M&F app. This one is great! 90% of what I get the magazines for are for the workouts and recipes. Now I can have them right on my phone and pull up the routines at the gym easily! I love this app!!!
I don't understand why others are complaining 4/5
I love the app. Works perfect with my ipad and it helps me stay awake during boring classes. The only thing I would ask is that I could observe the issues in landscape mode. I would REALLY appreciate it if you did.
Doesnt work 1/5
Why do they even have an app if it doesnt work. Dont waste your time. Get a different subscription.
Lost old issues and no new issues with subscription. 1/5
If I could give negative stars I would.
Please correct the lack of menu options once in a magazine issue. I'm stuck in the current magazine and can't switch to any other issue. Thinking about canceling my membership because of this annoyance.
Close magazine 2/5
Once you open a magazine you cannot close it and go to another. It's an in-convince to remove the magazine, re-store it then download it again just to read current issue. I'd rather go to a book store and read the magazine then to have subscribed to this magazine. I feel like I was ripped off. Please update this app and make it worth it. Also video content would be a nice feature.
App problem 1/5
This app is not working for me I try to go back after reading the magazine and is not letting me.
Horrible format for the iPad and iPhone! 1/5
Disappointed that this great magazine in its printed form does not shine in the iPad and much less on the iPhone! The format and layout is NOT optimized for either medium! This is just a plain vulgar copy of the printed magazine in electronic form.
Great app! 5/5
Well done app within newsstand . Does muscle and fitness right!
Good app, bad magazine 2/5
The app is actually nice. It reminded me though why I hate the magazine. Waaaaay too many ads.
So many Ads that its unreadable 2/5
Decent content, but it's buried beneath ads. Probably 4 pages of ads for every 1 page of content. And on top of that, it's hard to navigate. Look elsewhere.
Waste of time and memory 1/5
All it is is an advertisement for the magazines or subscriptions.. Very disappointed.
Faster page turns 4/5
Pages turn much faster than the previous version.
Good....Almost Great 4/5
The enhancements are amazing! The images load much faster and it is easier to browse through the edition you are reading. The only downside is there are the same amount of ads in the electronic version as there are in the one you would pick up on any newsstand. Scrolling through a 4 or 5 page advertisement when you can only view in portrait mode and only one page at a time, which is tedious. I know you can hop around but I would pay slightly more for an issue with less ads, just my personal opinion, which is why I gave it 4 stars. Again the ap itself is head and shoulders above its predecessor.
The new Muscle & Fitness looks killer!! Great design, easy to read. Perfect for at the gym.
Muscle & Fitness 2/5
By Christina Adams
It's has good content, but why I gave it 2 stars is because it takes forever to load and sometimes not all the pages load.
It's good but something missing.... 5/5
The latest issue is not here. Please update. I really love this app.
magazine digi 3/5
Love the content but very slow page turn. It cannot work offline either. The content however is the best, buy it on paper.
