My Spectrum App

The new My Spectrum app (formerly known as My BHN) offers a fast and convenient way to pay your Spectrum bill and manage your account from anywhere, with an updated look to reflect our new company. Charter Communications, Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks are now one company, known as Spectrum. This app is for customers in the former Bright House Networks and Charter Communications service areas. If you're in the former Time Warner Cable service area, please download the My TWC app instead.

    This app does not send notifications like it says it does even though I have my notifications turned on in settings. I have even deleted the app and reinstalled it again to see if it would work that way. Unfortunately, I haven't had any luck with this app the second time around either. But other than that, it works great far as payment wise. I also have to constantly update my password my often than should in order for my devices to connect to Wi-Fi. It's frustrating at times.

    Take your WAPs that connect to nowhere, and shove ‘em! All they are is black holes, the Wi Fi connects but then there’s no Internet, which blocks anything from working until I disconnect from your worthless WAP.

    Ever since spectrum took over the bills climb and the services dwindle. I’m now up to $160 a month... for the same internet and less channels! At least when it was Brighthouse it cost less! About $47 less a month! Tim to go to sling! Interesting side note. They want to change me to move my business service... $100!!! NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!

    Hi I like a few others in my complex only have internet instead of cable in my complex. But on a daily basis my inter doesn’t work 100% of the time. I’ve called in the past to figure why but was always told it was working fine. I just wish I could get a connection that doesn’t go away. That’s all I want.

    Spectrum equipment and program sticks Equipment frequently malfunctioning and poor reception , and is extremely hard to give problem complaints ! They try so hard to coverup problems instead of fixing the problem Customer satisfaction is high by default and hard as hell to give a negative customer satisfaction complaint Last time took 2 and half hours to complain

    Nothing fancy about this ap but it’s functionality is exactly what I need to quickly pay my bill. Would recommend using this over any browser based payment options.

    I’ve always said that almost every bill goes up every year but at least the cable continues to add services. I pay more now for power but my lights don’t work any better. I pay more for water & sewer but I still just get water from the faucet. The only improvements to our expensive cell phone bill comes from Apple, Samsung & LG... not from Verizon, Sprint or AT&T. But every couple years we get something new from cable; more speed, DVR’s, phone & tablet app’s, on demand shows, etc. That said, the Spectrum app goes out several times a week. Besides, at this point all I need is an internet connection plus one of many streaming options. However, the way the pricing is structured you may as well get everything. When on sale; Phone, cable & internet is about $100/mo for 3 services ($33 per svc) but if you only get cable & internet, it’s still $100/mo ($50 per svc) and if you only want internet it’s still $100. The only real savings for downgrading come from not paying the hidden extras like $10/mo for the DVR + $3/mo for the remote and another $6/mo for DVR “service”. So each $10/month DVR you have in your home actually costs about $30/mo when you add in the taxes and ‘regulatory’ fees. Hidden costs, lack of options and a 97% monopoly in service in my zip code are why I give this 3/5 stars

    This app doesn't show any information other than how much I owe and how I'd like to pay it. It would be nice to know my one yr. intro offer went up $20/mo., what the breakdown is, how much, if any data I actually use/mo.

    Makes it incredibly easy to pay your bill, change your network name and password to keep out wifi bandits and all within seconds. Now that I have it, I can't imagine managing my network without it!

    Dont do auto pay . Auto pay is so you dont have to worry about looking at your bill but once you do you are risking yourself from paying more for your service without any notification from them. They increased my internet price to $75 from $50 a month without any notice. I was not under any promotions . My promo was originally with brighthouse for $30 a month and when Spectrum took over my promo expired causing my bill to go to $50 a month. Not even a year and a half later all the sudden they increased it to $75 a month for the same service . I will cancel my service with these scammers. If they do that to 10,000 other customers , they are easily stealing $250,000 in one month. Do the math. They need to be sued for their deceptive practices.
