I love this app. It’s so convenient! You can do so much from this app. Pay your bill. Change WiFi info. Refresh equipment. And after paying your bill on a mobile device, the app will give you an option to save a screenshot.
New update on Roku has bugs 2/5
About a week ago, The app on my Roku was updated. Now, I like to watch channels in HD which are above 700 in the line up. So if in watching channel 709 and exit the guide, when I open up the guide again the channel says 9. The problem with this is that Roku has no numbers on the remote so I have to scroll thru hundreds of channels to get back to 700. PLEASE fix this problem!!!! There are plenty of streaming apps and I’m ready to go to another app!!! I know it’s a first world problem, but whatever the update was for, it didn’t make it better. Please fix.

Billing-payment & auto pay; On-line tech assistance 5/5
1. The spectrum apps is simply easy and as such deserves a 5-Star rating!
2. Yesterday, I was transferred to the on-line tech assistant, Anthony (initial AG), due to problems encountered logging in on two different accounts. Anthony was helpful, courteous and displayed such professionalism walking me step by step to realized that I have unique security code to each of the accounts. I logged in and was able to review the accounts as well as make payment and start an auto pay for the second account. Anthony later transferred me to the billing section to straighten out an auto pay error on the first account. Anthony (AG) is a 5-Star tech who makes Spectrum/Charter shine with a 5-Star rating!
Low income senior WiFi?? 4/5
Just very expensive for WiFi only.... I’m a senior on very limited fixed income.... why don’t you have special pricing for a basic WiFi for seniors???
As with virtually everything “Charter” it’s so problematic, where do I begin? 1/5
It’s been one thing after another with this software, iOS, iPadOS, tvOS. If you want details, just read more of it’s customer reviews. Put in a nutshell, it is everything I have come to expect from Charter.
Just look at the revision history. The app is so bad it’s constantly being updated. That tells me everything I need to know.

It never worked properly for me. The final nail in the coffin was when I attempted to pay my bill and it crashed immediately after I entered all the info and hit submit. You’re better off going to their website or to a physical store.
Not easy to find things 1/5
Every time I need something I have to go tap by tab trying to figure it out. Not simple at all and no logic. I was trying to change my payment method.

As of 1/14/2020, payments have been restored on the app.
I have been paying for years through the app. The latest update KILLED that. It keeps asking me to enter payment information (which I already have stored). When I enter my card info, it says this will overwrite the previous card, and if I say cancel, I’m back at square 1. It doesn’t let me use my saved card. If I say overwrite, it asks me to enter my card info, and now are on an endless loop!

I went to make my monthly payment and due to “updates” I am required to re-enter my payment info. When I do a notice pops up that says “your payment info is already stored do you want to replace” if you accept that you are not allowed to proceed to make the payment and are re-routed to the beginning where you have to re-enter payment info! It’s like Groundhog Day the movie ;(
Easy to use
More buggy now than ever 1/5
This app has always had a bug or two but nothing like the ones I’ve seen recently.... Opened it today to pay my bill like always and it says I need to update my billing info, no problem so I try to update it. Then I get stuck in a loop of trying to add my Debit card and it will not, keeps saying my card is on file... well why do I have to update it? Notice my phone number is now missing and it won’t let me input a new one. So frustrating! You do realize you need actually test the app before you release it? I would expect more from a big company, but I guess you just want to keep all of that money up top instead of paying for an R n D department. I wish spectrum didn’t have a monopoly in my area so I could choose a different provider.

I’ve been using this app for years and I tried to make a payment today and it just keeps asking for my billing info over and over. I’m sure it’s a bug but extremely inconvenient when you’re suppose to be able to pay bills with it

Keep getting stuck in a loop saying that they’ve updated their payment platform and to please enter my details again, my new card is already on file do I want to replace?, and then no listed payment options.
Yep, rate went up each month for “service improvements” and once again Spectrum knocks one out of the park by taking their already pretty unreliable service and finding a new way to make it worse.
For some reason after this update my payment info is gone and I can’t pay my bill on the app.

I switched to Spectrum last year because AT&T was constantly losing shows over a small wind or rain 30 miles away.

#1 CHEAPER: AT&T only cost $9.99 per month with unlimited TV’s. SPECTRUM CHARGES $7.99 PER TV. It COSTS me $15 MORE PER MONTH WITH ONLY 3 T.V.s!
#2 CHOICES: AT&T PROVIDED 8 DVR RECORDINGS IN COMPARISON TO HALF (4) SPECTRUM OFFERS.
#3 PROGRAM SETTINGS: AT&T by far EXCEEDED SPECTRUM’S LIMITED INFORMATION & EASE OF PROGRAM ADDING, DELETING OR SETUP.
I’m pleased with SPECTRUMS CABLE WHICH IS 100% MORE RELIABLE WHILE WATCHING MY SHOWS WITHOUT THE CONSTANT LOSS OF VIEWING PARTS OR ENTIRE SHOWS OR RECORDINGS! This was a MAJOR ISSUE, BECAUSE ONCE A SHOW HAD INTERFERENCE...IT WAS GONE FOREVER...NO WAY TO RETRIEVE!

Beware of FAKE positive reviews on this app 1/5
I read through the most recent reviews. The majority of positive reviews are clearly fake, and I think that it’s messed up that this company is deliberately misleading the public about how well their apps work.
WARNING: do NOT signup for new spectrum internet service! Their newest WiFi router does NOT work with smart home devices such as plugs, light bulbs, and even our brand new RING DOORBELL. The reason for that is that their new WiFi device will not even allow us to login to the router using 192.168.1.1 or any other IP address. They locked everyone out, including their customer service department. According to multiple managers and customer service reps at spectrum, THERE ARE NO FIXES IN PLACE. They say this is only a recent problem that “they’ve discovered”. 30 seconds doing a google search proves that this is a blatant lie. This issue goes back more than a year!!! If Trump needs a job after being booted out of office, then Spectrum would be the perfect fit for him to continue his lying.
I intend to cancel spectrum 1 high speed internet account, 3 spectrum mobile phone lines, and 1 spectrum tv app (also does not work)!!
If you enjoy spending hours and hours dealing with this company each week, then by all means download this app. But don’t say that you weren’t warned.
The executives pulling the strings at spectrum must be exposed for a BAD product, a BAD policy on how to deal with it, and a BAD policy that encourages FAKE REVIEWS. Shame on every person (mostly highly compensated executives, obviously - they handoff their dirty work to the poor rank and file employees who are left in the dark and fed lies about how to deal with customers) who have played a role in this horrible, horrible CORPORATE SCAM.

Wifi finder has not worked right since Spectrum took over. Trying to download wifi profile and all help/direction is to the app and select option for Mnage Profile. There is NO option for manage profile in My Spectrum, Account
Ever since the recent update I can not “re-enter” an existing bank account for bill payment. Keeps going into a “...account already exists. Would you like to enter a new account?...” error loop. When I enter a different account, it seems go go through then payment fails and am given yet another generic error. Also, cannot change payment date. Thought maybe that was an issue since I originally tried on a Sunday, but NOPE! Seriously, what happened to “Simplicity”?

Worst App Ever - Can’t Pay My Bill 1/5
I enter my cc number and it just keeps going back to the where the cc info needs to be entered again. It says my card is saved as well but it’s not there for me to choose from. Horrible. You’d think a company full of IT people wouldn’t have bugs like this. Extremely irritating

You updated the billing, it states. have to re-enter info. re-entering info, i says duplicate card on file, replace? no card shows... i hit Yes to replace, and it goes back to blank screen where the new/duplicate card should be. re-entering again, same results. your update broke the billing. so, you don’t want paid?

I’m used to paying my bill in seconds but now all of a sudden I have to re-enter my payment method and even when I do that it says I have “duplicate card” And takes me right back to the first screen. Fix this please or at least go back to how it was originally. Thank you!
