This app doesn’t work for current gen at all. It just makes a squished alien head with 1% accuracy to the face scan you make on the app. Also it failed to download the scan data on your current gen console, after 10 mins of waiting for the scan to be put on my myplayer. All 2k had to do was just keep the same stuff on app from last year, but this year it doesn’t work anymore. They tweaked something for no reason and now you can do a facescan in NBA2K23 anymore. Pretty pathetic for a multi-millionaire company. Don’t even bother to download this broken garbage of an app. I also had zero issues with the facescan app for the last decade so I don’t understand why this app is sucking now all a sudden. You had one job 2k. Fix your broken app if you care about your community.

I’ve been scanning my face into 2k since 2k18 so I would definitely say I got the hang of it by now. First it was bad enough that I couldn’t log in the sever when the app first came out. Now that is fixed I still can’t scan my face. The app doesn’t detect my face unless I constantly close & open the app when scanning. 2K y’all really need to get it together because this is ridiculous. I really wouldn’t even give it 1 star cause if it’s not one thing it’s the other

I’ve tried many times to get this face scan to work. With varying lighting and angles, the result being a squished face alien pretty much every time. I’d like to add I’ve had 0 issues with this feature in past two iterations of the game, they were spot on. This year is different. The app is also glitchy and still can’t retain your log in information. Good to see at least you guys are talking about it here, 2k certainly won’t. Very disappointing.

2k20 & 22 face scan looks exactly like me. Like the spitting image of me but 23? Y’all gotta be joking right? Might as well create my own face (used a SE 2020 and iphone 13 pro max)

HOPE they fix this soon.. tried everything possible and it didn’t work. The face is squished and you can’t even edit the eyes or nose. This one of the only thingsI look forward to in Mycareer. 👎🏾

It’s crazy how i can’t even log into my account to play on PS4 and i emailed 2k support about it and and had some responses and nothing fixed it. i haven’t heard back in 2 days! i’ve had this game for a week and it won’t even let me play my career! even the app won’t let me login. Get your stuff right 2k! why do y’all make stuff so complicated?

This seems to be an on going issue for the past few versions on this app. I have friends that have android phones and they are able to copy and paste locker codes into the app with no issue. You would think that a basic function like copy and paste would work in apps created in the year 2022.

Been on the facescan since 2k started it. This is by far the least accurate. I literally loaded my face on to 2k22 with a couple tries. This year they screwed up my face and only changes so slightly when I reupload. Not good at all, I’ve tried probably 20 times now.

You might as well settle for a default face for mycareer. I’ve attempted to scan my face a dozen times+ (with the iPhone 13 Pro) and none of them came close to looking like me. The faces appears to be squished in and elongated every time. Having my face on my player every year is the one of the main things that make me excited for mycareer. This issue makes me not even want to play it.

I can’t even log into my Microsoft account, to do a Face scan for MyCareer. I keep on getting this error message “A valid NBA2K23 save was not found. Please log into NBA2K23 with a 2K Sports account.” I am logged into my 2K Sports account! Please, fix your app.
