Fantastic app! 4/5
Works as it says it does, only problem is it is prone to freeze when loading the next batch of posts but thats probably because I have a first gen apple watch. Overall I am not grtting all that time back out of my life from me using this app, lol.
What a waste 1/5
I even paid for the upgrade... I’ve deleted and learned my lesson.
Good but crashes 2/5
By k. chan
I wish this app wouldn't crash so much. I spend most of my time in this app trying to find what I was reading pre-crash. That being said, I do the Nano Pro experience.
Good, could be some improvements 4/5
It a good app for browsing reddit, it’s ‘free’ but you do have to pay 1.99 to actually see subreddits that are other than the first 5, which isn’t bad. Something I wish it had (developer if you could add please), is that you can zoom into the picture like on his Twitter app. Other than that it’s great!
By W from pa
Crashes constantly. On very rare occasions, it will stay open for about 1 minute.
All of your apps are Superb 5/5
Every app I have downloaded from you has been 10 stars
Didn’t install 1/5
The app nano installed on my phone but the app did not install itself on my watch so there was no way to access it.
Nano for Reddit 5/5
I want to purchase the pro version but I don’t know if this app has push notifications (on iPhone and Apple Watch) and if I can reply to comments directly from Watch when that notification appears on Watch or iPhone (like IMessages or Viber, Telegram ) What does this handoff feature can do ? (found in settings app)
So cool 4/5
I just got my watch and this app seems to be recommended a lot i finally checked it out and i just think it's so cool. But i noticed there are 3 different pro versions one can pay and since we ya so cool 😎 id like to get one especially if it's a one time purchase but I don't know what I'm getting exactly what's the difference between $2 $3 and $4?
Pros and cons 3/5
The app layout itself is great, easy to navigate and whatnot. Seems very well put together. Problem is, it will just up and crash on random posts I open up, and if I go back in and try to open those posts, crash again. Other posts will work fine.
Also, you can’t read long posts, it says “save to read full article on your iPhone” or something like that. Kinda defeats the purpose of having it on my watch.
I would 100% pay for premium if the app didn’t crash everytime I sneezed. That’s the only thing that held me back
Awesome app. I was only going to get the free version but decided to go with the $1.99 pro version (there are others depending on what you feel like paying, which is perfect). I’m so glad I did.
The developer who made nano is truly deserving of each and every subscriber’s $1.99. It is quite literally the least you can do for the individual who brought reddit to your wrist.
Hacked my account 1/5
DO NOT DOWNLOAD. IT HACKED MY ACCOUNT!!!!!
Reddit on Apple Watch is the future of browsing. 5/5
I feel like I don’t use my Watch that much other than for checking the time and texts. Luckily I was wondering if Reddit was available on Apple Watch, and I found the perfect app for it. The free version does have limited features, but Apollo isn’t meant to be enjoyed that way. People seem to forget that developers need some way to support themselves, so the in app purchase to pro is an inoffensive “pay your own price model” to get all of the features. Overall a solid Apple Watch app and solid Developer. I recommend checking out Chirp for your Twitter Apple Watch needs.
Crap don’t waste your time 1/5
By Sasauge roll
Worthless unless you buy the pro version. Waste of time don’t download.
Garbage app 1/5
It only serves one purpose, hound you to buy the full version. Free version is totally worthless, and the dev is doing one of those “I don’t have confidence in my product so pay what you choose” deals, so I’m not buying it.
Does not work 1/5
Doesn’t launch on Apple Watch 4
Cool but one huge problem 3/5
I love Reddit, and for it to be on the Apple Watch is even better. The app works nice and has that Apple Watch feel, which I like. I just have one problem. Why restrict my subscriptions? I am now forced to unsubscribe from subreddits just to see the ones I want. Overall though, great app!
Overall a good app but with one big flaw 4/5
The reason I did not give this app a 5 star was because of the fact that sometimes when scrolling or loading new things the app will crash which makes things very frustrating. Other than that this app is amazing and I would recommend!
App wants login just to use 1/5
I used to use this app a year ago on my series 0 watch and was able to browse subreddits without logging in. Now that I’m on my series 4, it needs me to login and I don’t have an account nor wish to make one. The app is 5 stars when I could use it but now that I can’t, it doesn’t do anything.
Love it 5/5
By I Identify As Bread
Hands down the best watch app I’ve ever used. Honestly I thought the integration would be clunky and annoying but it’s truly easy. If I wasn’t broke I would get premium and use the tip jar. Thanks dev!
it won’t download onto the actual watch
Worked well then... 4/5
By The dark master 56437
Worked just fine for a day or so, now it won’t load subreddits or anything
I wish I can view v.reddit 4/5
There something’s that can play on my screen and there something’s that don’t some gifs work and some don’t you get what I mean
Apple Watch is finally Star Trek-ish 4/5
Being able to check in on my favorite things, current events and pop culture on my wrist finally makes my Apple Watch feel like a piece of futuristic technology. I haven’t been able to find a news and information app suitable for my needs and to round out my Smart Watch. It’s just been a digital watch until now. Battery life is stingy though. Beef that up a little. Otherwise, kudos, Reddit crew.
I feel disappointed with most watch apps and this app makes the Apple Watch 1000% better! The ease of the app really works out of the Apple Watch. The only downside is that you can’t zoom in on photos.
No, I don’t want to login 1/5
Color me impressed 5/5
I didn't think that Reddit would be able to port to the watch well at all. I assumed that all Reddit apps for the watch were going to be crappy and lack functionality.
This app is completely different though. It has 95% of the functionality the phone app has, runs smoothly, and has a great interface with well thought through haptic feedback and sounds.
I would like to see one specific feature in future updates: Account switching. I have multiple Reddit accounts that I use daily and I'd love to be able to quickly switch between them on the watch via a 3d touch in the "my profile" or "settings" pages.
I would also like to see chats, but these aren't quite as important to me.
Doesn’t work 1/5
I’ve tried a ton of times to connect the watch to Reddit and every time I type in my information to sign in it does nothing and nothing happens and I’ve reset everything and did everything the app told me to do to “fix” it but nothing happens. Really frustrating.
Won’t connect 1/5
By Goofy pants123
Spent and hour of my life trying to connect my reddit account to my watch. Even tried to make a new account, nothing. Watch still stuck on set up. Tried everything the help page said to do. Nothing. Not going to spend any more time trying to sort out this issue or messaging the developer. This should be fixed by now, it’s the first thing you do to even use the app. Extremely disappointing.
Crashing Constantly 2/5
Hate to give 2 stars but this app has become so unstable I can barely use it. Crashing on a regular now. Apple Watch 4
Love this App 5/5
This app is show amazing, well made and integrated on the watch. It’s really nice to browse to Reddit without needing to pull out my phone. The little jingle is a real nice touch.
I purchased to pro version. And haven’t regret it.
Keep making more... I would love to see Gmail, tumblr, Snapchat, Instagram, and maybe IFunny. (This all would be a stretch though)
Awesome update 5/5
Wow, everything loads so much faster since the update and the UI changes look nice too!
Every watchOS owner needs this. 5/5
This gives you everything reddit has to offer and helps get the most of watchOS.
Being able to read articles, view pictures and some clips on the go. And having a community driven aggregated news and entertainment source on your wrist is truly amazing.
The app is smooth, compact and the design uses the limited screen space very well. ForceTouch is utilised well giving you your app settings and reddit navigation.
Here is where I was unsure to rate at a 4 or a 5 but ultimately landed on a 5 because what it does do, it does it very well. The app lets you view images from pretty much any host without issue. It also utilises reader mode to read articles as well. And you can view gifs(gifVs?) from imgur. What it doesn’t do is offer an inapp player for reddit hosted videos or gfycat.
All in all this is a fantastic app, worth the few bucks to support a good product and indie developer and one of biggest must own apps for any watchOS users.
Loading Problems 3/5
So, I just recently got the Apple Watch series 4 and tried using this app on it. But sometimes for some reason with won’t load or will crash and through me out of the app. It worked fine on my old Apple Watch so I’m not sure if it’s just a series 4 thing. Plz try and look in too it because it’s very annoying. Thx
Absolutely won’t connect. 1/5
I hate to give one start reviews, but this app just won’t ever connect to my watch or vice versa. It might work for some, but this just doesn’t work for me. I will sadly be uninstalling and not using this app, as it doesn’t work for me :( (mainly doesn’t connect).
Works great! 3/5
Love the app but I wish it could play GIFs. Seems like it can only handle Imgur and very few use that. So I’m left with a lot of unplayable GIFs.
Stopped working. 1/5
Was working fine until a few days ago. Not it has an SSL error.
Fails to load 3/5
Nano frequently fails to load on 44mm S4 watch. After restarting the watch twice Nano finally loads and is functional, and it’s really cool when it works.
Great little app 5/5
Best Reddit option for the Apple Watch. Performance is good and functionality is great. The iOS companion app could probably use a bit of polish and UI enhancements but it’s very functional. Plus, when I had an issue the dev replied to me within minutes!
I am triggered 3/5
It just won’t let me sign in. I get on my phone and it just loads back to the page every time I try to log in
Doesn’t work! 1/5
When I open my watch, it says posts at the top and blank screen below
Choosing subreddits needs work 3/5
The app is great all around and browsing is flawless, but the way you choose specific subreddits to view individually on the watch is unintuitive. It requires you delete subreddits from a list of five until one comes up that you want. Needs work.
Good when it did work 1/5
By Gio I
App recently stopped working for me not displaying home page. messages and other features still works but of course need the home page to actually see anything new so darn shame
What a fun little app 5/5
I saw this and just had to get it right away! Fantastic idea and so far, no complaints. Everything works the way it should. Excellent work
Won’t play gifs 2/5
By HEY! WHERES MY CHARGER
No Matt how many times I try it won’t play gifs
Unable to reorganize subscribed reddit 2/5
The subscribed Reddit section is constantly getting organized in a-b order... I'm using free version, but I cant even try it out for my favorite. Please add a way to specifically select subscriptions to view!!
Not impressed 3/5
By Rohan pop
This app was absolutely amazing for about a week. Now it doesn’t work consistently. Half of the time I try to use it, it just shows a blank screen. The same thing happened with my friends watch as well. It’s working right now, but who knows when it will stop? It would be really awesome if you could diagnose the problem and possibly fix it.
Love the app, but... 4/5
Hey, loving the app but I was charged $7.47 when I opted to pay $1.99 for the pro version. Why?
Works Great and Convenient 5/5
For anyone wondering, the free version lets you view any sub. It’s just that it provides shortcuts to only your first 5 alphabetical subs. To view all subs shortcuts, pay for PRO. I did, and the app works completely fine.
Had a question about the app and emailed the dev. He responded very quickly and helpfully. Am glad to be supporting this dev with PRO. Great Reddit client for the Apple Watch S3.
