    Crashes regularly, deletes free rental days off of your account, and cancels reservations. You should avoid this app as it actually makes your experience worse with National then it already is. Sitting on their customer support line is less painful then using this garbage.

    I would be great to be able to see when a members free days expire on this App. Calling the customer service line is the only way I have found to be able to do this. Love the App though, but there’s always room for improvement.

    Very disappointing in BHM airport the rental car needed vacuum dust on the panel and had the smell of smoke in the rental was all away from airport.Service was terrible in Bhm.

    I travel often for both work and pleasure. Like any frequent traveler, removing bottlenecks and points of friction from my path makes my travels even more enjoyable. I’ve tried nearly every rental car company in the marketplace. With a spate of mergers over the years, it’s sometimes hard to tell if one company that your vetting from another for your business is affiliated or not. Over the years, I’ve noticed a National consistently distinguish itself from its peers. Like being an industry innovator in allowing you to reserve at a level that allows you to choose your own vehicle. A move, many others in the industry (clumsily) tried to follow. No organization is perfect and National definitely has some areas it needs to improve. I find the consistent area that’s 50/50 is the quality of customer service among staff at particular airports. I’m not going to name them (we & they know who they are), but airport rental customer service is either spot on or like a group of people serving out a karmic debt. Equally, whenever I’ve encountered a problem, the agents at customer resolution have always exceeded my expectations and quickly resolved he issue. That fact, coupled with the ease, quality, and reliability of the app, makes National my go to choice for car rental.

    I work in IT and was capturing web traffic to troubleshot an issue. I was surprised to see 70% of the web traffic was going to a National web site. Even after an uninstall in continued. A reboot was required. I had not used the app in months. I can not imagine the impact on my data and battery. I also wonder what they were collecting.

    I use this app every week for my rentals, and it’s frustrating that even with “Stay signed in” marked it still makes you sign in every time. As an Executive Elite member for years, I love the app but hate having to log in EVERY time since the latest release update.

    I fly in to Executive airports like Wilson Air and Signature Flight Support. When I use the app 99% of the time my vehicle is not there even after checking the box to have it delivered at the FBO. Very poor service when you are on a time schedule. The FBO always has to track down my vehicle and I wait for delivery.

    The past couple of months every National location across the country that I have reserved a vehicle is out of cars and I have had to wait until they can get vehicles brought up from the car wash. I have had maintenance issues twice and each time I am downgraded on my replacement vehicle. Why should I stay loyal and work to be Executive if I’m not treated with the same loyalty?

    My reservation for a small SUV (Equinox...) was a hassle. , we waited over 90minutes at the airport, the offsite rental office did not pick up calls, and so I finally went to the offsite rental office. They did not have the same size car and Instead put us in a smaller car at the same rate. They said they will give me a discount at check in but have been vague about t. Very frustrating after it was so easy to make the reservation online.

    You can’t ask for a more kind, generous, understanding, patient group of people. Those folks at the Syracuse Airport are always prompt, productive and ready to handle anything thrown at them. I’ve seen them make accommodations with very few cars in the lot to taking an uncleared car to get cleaned, gassed up and pulling it to the front for customer satisfaction. That’s what I call Quality customer service. This team is a 5 Star team and I am happy we do business with them.

    A key way to judge any company not when things go right, but how do they respond when things go wrong. National is a perfect example of this philosophy. Take for example the countless times when returning a vehicle and that location charges the wrong amount or wrong credit card. Calling the corporate number, the National team members can’t lend any assistance. They will direct the customer to that local office. If it’s a completely incompetent branch like Des Moines, IA, the customer will NEVER reach or hear back from anyone regardless how many calls are placed or how many voice messages are left. By the way, The Des Moines location is by far the worst of the National branches with dirty cars (mud covered seats is a regular occurrence) and on more than one occasion, I've found rotting food under the seats of vehicles. As for the app, it’s not very user friendly, especially when it comes to downloading and forwarding receipts. The app will direct he user to the company website which is also poor designed and managed. The only redeeming quality about National is that most locations will allow regulars to pick their own vehicle by avoiding the counter. Otherwise I would gladly jump to Avis or Hertz.

    Horrible app! Every single time that there is an update, this app deletes my user name and password. Forcing me to dig up user credentials even when I am picking up the car and in a rush to leave the rental lot to get to my meetings.

    St Louis based Enterprise/National sent college kids from St Louis to KC to lobby against a vote for a new arena. St Louis has built 2 baseball stadiums, a football stadium, and a hockey arena at taxpayer expense, while, at the time, KC hadn’t built a new sports facility since 1973. Now Enterprise/National says that if you believe in the 2nd Amendment, it doesn’t want your business. That’s fine with me. I’ve only averaged 40 car rentals per year with Enterprise Holdings since 2003.
