Every time I use the app you try to get me to upgrade! Stop!
  • Trying to sell me more 4/5

    By terrrilbe day
One has to go through ads for upgrades to this product. Takes a while for the process of getting to the actual radar image. It has not always been this way.

    By harley&me
They’ve got to be kidding trying to charge up to $6 per WEEK. I wouldn’t pay that per month. The Weather Channel app Premium membership is a lot cheaper and more robust.

    By Azriel Mysterious
$5.99 a week is just insane.
  • Absolute Garbage 1/5

    By Cena Adams
ABSOLUTE GARBAGE. I downloaded this app in hopes that I’d be able to see the hurricane Ian hitting my family in Florida right now and you cannot even do anything without ridiculous ads popping up and it glitching every few seconds. At the point where it required I ‘pay for premium’ to zoom in further on Daytona Beach I decided to go ahead and give this app a review. Can’t get back that 10 mins of my life I wasted with this junk.
  • Weather map excellent but hard to find stuff 3/5

    By zahava
I got this so I can track Tornedos. I’m still not sure it does that service for me because when I bought it, another app was recommbended which I’d have to pay for. I paid the 20 bucks for the year thinking this would be my weather radio. The other night there was a Tornedo and I believe my phone went off. So a plus there. However when I open the app, there doesn’t seem to be a way to check for Tornedo watches or warnings. the color chart includes “heavy rain” Since I was recommended to purchase another app I don’t even know if this app was the one that saved my life for a tornedo. I guess it needs to come w instructions and needs to be clear about free and not free features

This used to be a useful app. Once they turned into this chime, it has turned to garbage. I am furious that I constantly have to tell them No, I don’t wanna pay for some stupid premium for a weather app. I will be looking for other weather apps.

There is nothing to see here for free. The minute you download the app, you will be hounded to sign up for paid service.
  • Horrible 1/5

    By Mavkoni
Deleted minutes after downloading. One would think that app providing essential information such as this one, would have more free content, but every life threatening/saving peace of information here is subscription based, and the rates are very high. Horrible money grabbing machine.

  • Why is this behind a paywall? 1/5

    By barbzillaaa
Makes no sense that an NOAA app which is already tax funded would be completely useless unless you get a paid subscription. Deleted.

  • Deleted Immediately 1/5

    By Chuckster101010101
Downloaded cause it looked free. Then it said it was only a free trial and it was $5.99. It had instructions for canceling but I tried following them and it didn’t work. They were asking me to click on things that didn’t exist in my settings. So I just deleted the app. Hope that takes care of it. Better not be charged for anything.

  • Outraged! 5/5

    By Tedsmom2
Like other reviewers, I too, resent having to pay a monthly fee to view the weather forecasts generated by this essential service paid for with taxpayer dollars. Outrageous! So I deleted my NOAA app and moved the Weather channel app into the NOAA app position. How disappointing! There had been absolutely no mention of any tropical disturbance this entire year( to date, 9/15/22)!!! I live in Florida. I’m very interested in tropical weather. As an American I expect to be kept informed about things which will impact my life and community to be a right afforded to every citizen without payment above tax dollars. Sadly, I am so disgusted with the complete failure of the Weather Channel app to even show a comma shaped weather occurrence. I’m ready to pay to get NOAA weather app. I don’t like paying for it above my taxes but I can’t take not knowing what’s coming re: hurricanes, tropical storms, depressions. I resent the fee. I’m still outraged. What next? Will we have to pay a fee before the National Guard will show up to restore civil order on my street? Before you discount me as a crazy Trumper, I am not. But someone collecting a salary from taxpayers made the decision to FORCE those taxpayers to pay to receive the information gathered by taxpayer- funded activities. That person should be FIRED for dereliction of duty to his/her employers- us!
  • Cost???? 1/5

    By Lawman434
Really??? We already pay for this with our taxes yearly!!
  • DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY, website is free and more accurate 1/5

    By Alundy1
I have been using NOAA as my main weather information source for 10 years. Have been paying for this app for 5 of them, and I’ve recently noticed huge discrepancies between the website forecasts and the app forecasts with the app forecast being farther off reality. When I’ve reached out to them I’ve gotten a boiler plate response saying they will look into it.
  • They are not the actual NOAA 1/5

    By nini 🤌🏾
They are not apart of the NOAA. It’s just a weather radar app that makes you pay for a subscription to use their service . The official website is weather.gov and it’s free on the government website and they even have a mobile friendly page.To the developers of this app ,Please put a visible disclaimer so you don’t mislead people.
  • Don’t download 1/5

    By Newsy person
This is junk. It won’t give you useful information without in app purchases. It constantly blinks a request for you to pay for more information. Deleted after a few hours.
  • $5.99… A WEEK??? 1/5

    By Some infantry guy
Someone else here said something similar to myself, but I’ll hash out my version. Paying $5.99 a week ($311.48 a year!!) for an app that literally just rips information off from noaa is absolutely ridiculous. I mean this is dirty. Real DIRTY. I would even go as far as to call it a SCAM. This app isn’t made by NOAA, and has no affiliation with NOAA. It’s a private company using meteorological data from NOAA, which US tax-payers already paid for, for their own profit. And for a gouging price at that. No thanks. If it were reasonably priced I would consider, but I’m not paying $311 a year for information that my taxes already funded.
  • Really 3/5

    By WCIP
We have to pay this year…. Glad I can afford it 🤷🏿‍♂️
