  • Holy pop-ups! 1/5

    By Barumtata
I cannot even check the weather for 10 seconds without several pop ups asking to upgrade, rate app or buy something completely unrelated! Literally deleting the app as fast as I’ve downloaded it.
  • Scam 1/5

    By RfmBob
They charge you every 7 days after the free trial. It’s not clear how to cancel the subscription.
  • Enjoying this 4/5

    By Gabsmom
So far so good. I really like it. Just need to spend more time understanding it.

  • Worthless without paying 1/5

    By rcojoe
Not sure what all the 5 stars are from except for a paid service. I get better maps and overlays for free from my local new channels app.

    Great app love it
  • Change is bad 1/5

    By Mommaknowsbest678
The old app was better. I paid for the older app and now I’m getting adds and wanting me to pay for a new upgrade. Pitiful!
  • Quick and clean 3/5

    By Anonymous DC metro rider
Deducting two stars in long term use. Some aspects of this app are great, but others prevent this from being my sole app, and make me wonder whether I’ll renew my subscription. Example: right now there’s a winter storm watch up for my area with a prediction of up to 5” of snow (a lot for DC). The app gives me the warning, but it’s own forecast is for “light snow.” Weather Underground, on the other hand, was predicting significant snow several days ago. I’m sure this app will update it’s forecast soon. After all, it’s predicting “heavy snow” for an area three miles away from me. But this isn’t the first time that there’s been a bizarre disconnect between the app’s forecast and other sources, and generally the other sources turn out to be correct. I still love the quick radar, but the inconsistent forecast drive me batty. ————————- Ok, so I wasn’t happy about the $10/yr subscription, but I got hooked and I haven’t regretted it. I was, perhaps like many of you, a loyal user of Weather Underground’s excellent Storm app until it was replaced and ruined. I’ve bounced around some other apps since, but when I found this one it just clicked. First, it’s the fastest one I found. It takes about a third of the time as some others (including Weather Underground’s otherwise excellent regular app) to initially load the radar. And it looks great and moving around is really intuitive. It doesn’t offer as much detail as some other apps, but it gets the basics right. I can see in an instant the forecast, both hourly and daily, the humidity and wind, and I was able to customize it to show sunrise and sunset in the same screen. That’s what I need most. The hurricane tracker is neat but not something that by itself I would pay the premium price for. I wish it displayed weather fronts, but I can live without that. Notifications aren’t as customizable as Weather Underground’s, but they work. All in all, this does what I need it to do and does it very well.
  • Terrible Ads 1/5

    By Shneegorknick
Intrusive all screen ads pop ups horrible.
  • Screen cluttered by ads 1/5

    By ***unfairfairs***
Why is the government forcing commercial advertisements upon us when we already paid for these services through TAXES.

    So far looks really good
  • Pop ups to many 1/5

    By chainsawrepublic
Hard to use and will most likely delete. To much to pay for upgrade if this what it will be like on a grand scale
  • Why are you charging me?! 1/5

    By Cassc87
I downloaded this app and immediately deleted it months ago! All of a sudden I’m seeing multiple charges. F.u.! I want my money back.
  • Helpful 3/5

    By Fun imagination
First time to use app. Lincoln City, Oregon is where I grew up. Nice to have news about weather.
  • Helps to Plan the Day 5/5

    By Ladybug161947
Much practical data helps to plan and prepare for the day. Especially appreciate the radar look at movement of storms.
  • Typical - little value added, lots of adds 1/5

    By Atlas Gross
Another app using NOAA data that sells you adds. Nothing better than the other 25 apps with the same information, not more user friendly, difficult to use without ending up on an advertisement webpage.
  • Where is NWS Now? Shame on Apple, using weather.com 2/5

    By texbbqman
Did you not see the fictional reporting during the last hurricane?
  • Adddddds 1/5

    By DrThrowDown
Too many ads that pop up and take over your whole screen!
  • Good 3/5

    By moody_laser
    Maybe
  • Misleading. This is not free. 1/5

    By MajorHavoc
Why does this app not list in-app purchase? I wanted to see the free version, but after opening it, it IMMEDIATELY wanted me to pay. The free is 7 day trial but they want you to pay up front. I do not support apps that try and trick people and are not honest in their store description. This is free only for 7 days, and wants you to pay immediately. App deleted. I can not recommend.
  • التطبيق رائع 5/5

  • Deleted it, didn’t know it would cost money. 5/5

    By Neese Olin
I am on a fixed income and don’t want to pay a monthly fee, I’m sure I’d have liked it a lot though!
  • Just a platform for ads 1/5

    By Levi770421
I downloaded NOAA because I wanted official weather info. Within the first 60 seconds on the app, there were two full page ads. The only way to get rid of the second one, was to click on it and be taken to the ad’s website. Now that might have been bearable if navigation to alerts had been visible. I even went to settings, and the severe weather alerts were all enabled, but there was nothing concerning alerts on the opening page. I am so disappointed.
  • Good 5/5

    Good
  • Snow measurements? 4/5

    By Shoultzttttt
Great app BUT why does it show the measurement in inches of snow range from 10 inches to 300 inches? The whole state is getting less then 300 inches... anyone know a solution? I could t find a way to set the range on the app

  • New user 5/5

    By Nebraska Line Geek
I like NOAA weather because I track mid-latitude storms for fun and the commute. Sunday morning a winter storm left several inches of snow in our area, and weather radar helped me prepare for the drive home.
  • Review 5/5

    By churchbos
Excellent radar detail. I only wish this apps would also give projected three day tract. I would like to see as well the fluctuation of the jet air streams. I’m sure I’m asking to much to want to see an overlay of the isobars in order to see the intensity of wind. Thank you.
  • Help 2/5

    By Granny Marengo
The box naming my location covers up a lot of the area. When I am checking radar it is a nuisance.
  • Use free: Weather.gov or NOAA.com 2/5

    By Sportsfan2
Use weather.gov or NOAA.com - they are free and far more comprehensive. Just type weather.gov or NOAA.com into your browser then type in the place to get the local weather.

Awesome very fast easy an convenient , thank you.
  • Fee for tornados? 1/5

    By SuzyQDallas
By federal law, weather stations are supposed to inform us of dangerous Weather! We do NOT have to pay for tornado or hurricane alerts...
  • Inaccurate 1/5

    By Farrx
This thing is never right when it comes to predicting rain.
  • Not good 1/5

    By Big_G1962
Is there just one good weather app out there? Its hard to believe that this day in age these companies cannot write a decent app.
  • Rural Unfriendly? 2/5

    By GreenVariety
I’m wondering if it’s because I’m rural but this app stinks! I just got rid of it because I had to have my husband come pick me up due to freezing rain turning the entire road into a skating rink. No notification. No weather warning in the app (just double checked). I don’t have cable and am not a weather channel watcher so I rely on my app to do its job. I just downloaded accuweathers app and sure enough warning right at the top for my location. Had I known an ice storm was coming in I would have altered my plans so I could have at least drive my car home (or not left at all and put myself, my husband and others in danger).
  • Too many ads 2/5

    By Zjhok
Way too much pop up and ad space.
  • Beautiful and useful 5/5

    By junibcken
The NOAA app is very easy to read and beautifully drawn. It has been very useful in understanding this current long, hard rain affecting the Santa Barbara County.
  • Radar not showing storm 2/5

    By Whynotthisapp
There is a weather alert for incoming storm from WA through CA... radar fails to show it. Nothing.... clear skies except for a front from 30 minutes ago. It appears on my other weather apps, just not this one. Odd, but there you have it.
  • Gucci 5/5

  • Awful app 1/5

    By snd bd
App auto renews and can’t turn off. Had to chat with Apple who sent a link because the app couldn’t be manage on device. Terrible. Also would not refund the unknowing auto monthly renew. Buyer beware. Ripoff app
  • Horrible. This app must have been bought out by the weather channel. Waste of time 1/5

    By Pathego
Better than ad ridden weather channel owned apps
  • Good maps 5/5

    By CarlovonCarlo
Easy to read, real time radar maps.
