Disconnects from known network the one was used before or is used currently. Than sometime it takes so much time to reconnect that in frustration feel like just remove it from the phone.
Don’t buy or install on your phone 1/5
The application is very bad. It damaged my phone. Be careful this app is scam and it made my phone always is freezing. I will sue this company for screwing my phone. I want to leave this review to everyone to be aware of this stupid app.
Very good product. But... 4/5

I’ve had this now for over a year and I really like it. However, I only have 2 question -
I want to uninstall this app from my iPhone and install it on my surface pro, is this possible to do without having to resubscribe and pay extra?
It’s bad 1/5
I have no clue how to use this app

Great Product 5/5
I have had the VPN product for a few weeks! I love the protection and warnings.
I have had no problems with this app. It tells you when you’re on an unsafe network and prompts you to start the VPN immediately. I have not noticed any speed degradation at all while using it. The fact that this tool is recommended by Lifelock just enhances my trust in this product! Good job, Norton!
After upgraded to ISO 12.3 , YouTube WATCH history and RECENT videos aren’t updating due to NORTON SECURE VPN APP, if I disconnect this app WATCH history and RECENT videos start updating. Please resolve this issue. THANKS.

The VPN seems to work. 5/5
I click on the link and it says it is working. I changed locations so I log on to 3 different WiFi during the week. Every time i checked to see if it was on, it was working. I had a friend install it and it took about n10 minutes.. So I recommend this VPN.
Love it Love it
OFFER IT FOR FREE UNTIL IT WORKS ALL THE TIME! 3/5

Just upgraded iPad running IOS 12.1.4 to Norton VPN ver 220.127.116.111 and it works. Bravo! If same update works on iPhone SE, you folks get third star. There are still some minor items on the wishlist:
the app still only works in portrait. since i use iPad in landscape most of the time, it would be nifty to not have to tilt my head to see my VPN info.
I have no idea what causes it but the “Ad Tracker Blocker” page sometimes will not show Block History statistics (This week, Last 30 days, All time) unless i close the app and reopen
The iPhone SE has also been upgraded and it works.
A little concerned about upgrading to version 3.3.0 which i just noticed is now available. I think i’ll use a little mainframe technique and wait for a release level higher than x.x.0

Been a while since my last review. So far, since returning 2018/12/14, it has been working most of the time on iPhone & iPad (both ver 18.104.22.1684 and IOS 12.1.1). A 2nd iPad is on ver 22.214.171.1241 and IOS 9.3.5. It works too on Windows 32-bit desktop (ver 126.96.36.1995) & 64-bit laptop (ver 188.8.131.52) both running Windows 7 Professional SP1. Bravo Norton, you get another star. But there are still quirks:
#1 IOS devices on ver 184.108.40.2064 and IOS 12.1.1 - the “Ad Trackers” page no longer shows Block History for This Week, Last 30 Days and All Time. This info shows on the Windows processes and on the iPad running ver 220.127.116.111 and IOS 9.3.5. Since there is no rollback procedure available I worry that ver 3.0.3, now at the Apps Store, might bring back the nightmares. Holding off updating IOS devices.
#2 the Windows processes and/or services have a hard time reconnecting to a functioning VPN server once you disconnect from Wi-Fi then attempt to reconnect. Sometimes it succeeds, sometimes not. I’ve had to disable VPN when it cannot reconnect. Crap shoot.
#3 the Windows processes do not give you the option to download and install an updated version - it goes right ahead and does it then holds your online session hostage until you decide to reboot. NOT NICE and NOT FRIENDLY! Paying CUSTOMERS want CHOICE of when to download and install an update!
I have serious doubts whether things will be this smooth when traveling internationally. There are many carriers in many countries whose internet policies/protocols for IOS devices & PCs might not be VPN friendly.
For those with active subscriptions that include Secure VPN, I recommend logging into My Norton, tap on Support then leave Feedback. I seriously doubt Norton Support technicians read these reviews and therefore cannot know the unhappiness of their pi$$ed off paying customers.
For other unhappy users, Norton Q&A’s do not do “didley with a side of squat” for our issues. I suggest finding some way to be able to leave your fed-up feedback on the Norton website.
Good luck to us all who are without internet protection. In particular travelers who have no choice but to use unsecured public wifi network providers. And still Norton rakes in the subscription bucks.
For some strange reason VPN is working today almost as if a string of servers were rebooted facilitating VPN connections. Bravo Norton! you listened to pi$$ed off paying customers. Not changing the star rating until VPN service is consistent.
This forking thing turned into a piece of shi[r]t rather quickly. Problems started with ver 2.5.4 a few weeks ago. Now at ver 3.0.1 and it takes a full charge on the phone before this app finds a VPN server to talk to. Now at 77% charge and still no connection. You can’t have a wireless connection unless it finds a VPN server to talk to, you can’t change regions unless you already have an existing VPN connection. If you already have a VPN connection keep it because changing regions will disable VPN & wifi functionality as it attempts to find a VPN server. Burn this forking thing and give us back ver 1.something!
Although haven't yet had the opportunity to use on a public hotspot, I'm currently using it on my home wireless network. Not many steps to remember to establish connection: connect to wifi and surf with no perceptible app-induced slowness. I like it now, hope future updates do not spoil that.
app has trouble connecting to VPN every time i use it. Ive deleted and downloaded again and the problem persists. Please up date this as i am paying for a service that isn't operating properly. I am running on IOS.
Doesn’t work 1/5

You should be able to press one button after installing it and it starts working. It never works. Signing in signing out restarting phone configuring the settings etc., it doesn’t work.
Worked for a week... 2/5
Worked for a good week the all of a sudden has stopped. I try and try again to turn VPN on in the app and nothing. I only got Norton for the extra stuff it gives you like this, but if it doesn’t work might not re-up next year.
Doesn’t work with my bank app or website 1/5
A vpn that’s supposed to securely connect you, doesn’t work with online banking. I’m hoping that they fix this, but until then, I’m not gonna subscribe after the trial. Avast works so I’m looking forward to Norton fixing this.
Good vpn 4/5
The app works great. It would be great if there was a setting to have the vpn connection automatically enable itself while switching from LTE to a WiFi connection.
Usually works 4/5
Sometimes needs attention to start
Good vpn but slow speeds 4/5
Its a pretty good vpn and does its job but its rather slow. I tested my wifi speed with the vpn once and it went from 200mbps to around 10-20mbps. All i ask is that their speed improves. Even a 50mbps would make me happy
So far it's very good 5/5
Have used vpn before so I do have a measure in comparison. Norton Vpn comes from a longstanding reputable company in security so that's a definate plus. Also has strong encryption. Very easy to get it going, making it great for a newbie. No logs, scans wifi and locations around the world. all additional pluses.
To really push this vpn to competitive edge, would be to have a Kill switch. It is a MUST. Eliminate dns leaks. If someone breaks the vpn connection, it's currently hard to tell. And it isn't for a good reason either. I prefer the connection cease than to continue insecure. This means I find myself needlessly checking since I did find it off once. Another recommend, is to add more secure servers. who wants stores, etc on the west when they're east.
I really like this vpn for all their features so far and recommend it. Currently as of May7, it only lacks a Kill Switch which, I hope they plan to add this feature soon. Anyone just trying vpn for the first time, should learn more about that.
Affects my data service. 1/5
I have an iPhone X. Renders my data service useless, whether I’m home, at work or wherever I’m at. I cannot depend on this app, I have no idea if this app even does what it says it does. I logged out and bam now I have internet. It got to the point where I was turning my phone off and back on every day trying to get my data/internet service to work, too often my VPN wouldn't even turn on. I decided to discontinue my subscription to this app after a year of having it. Frankly, I lost interest to contact support, Norton will have to fix this issue w/out my encouragement. I think this app might work best if you have a Wi Fi connection which I do not. I bought this because I have LifeLock, at least LifeLock works. I would renew my subscription if Norton could prove to me it has resolved this issue/s. I hope this app works for you.
What’s the point 1/5
I’ve been using Norton products for years, but their VPN is the worst. I’m constantly having to turn it off to use the apps (e.g., Target, Macy’s, etc.) on my iPhone 6S. I submitted a complaint on this issue and was contacted and just asked if I was using the most recent version. I responded with yes, and haven’t heard from Support since. I know some app developers aren’t design apps that sense when a VPN is being used, but there should be some way to make the VPN usable. What’s the point of having a VPN if you constantly have to turn it off.
Does the Job 5/5
I downloaded this app a few months ago and have been using it ever since. I’ve read a pretty bad review of it but, honestly, I can’t say I’ve had any problems with this product. I find the service reliable, it has not crashed on me at all, which was a problem the reviewer I read said that they had. I find it very easy to change VPN locations if I need to. This app does what it’s supposed to do, so I gave it top ratings.
VPN issues 2/5
I just installed this on my iPhone after the VPN stopped working from another Norton email account which expired and was not told about the VPN expired.
After contacting Norton antivirus and waited for about 20 minutes for support. Support was somewhat helpful except never told me why my account didn't work until my second call when I realized, I was being forced into another upgrade and that my second email account was only for three Pc's and not for iPhones.
By this time, I had to contact Norton again and find out that I couldn't add my iPhone to an existing account/ email. Finally, I was able to get a new agreement and now, I have 5 devices, two pcs and one iPhone.
After updating both my pcs and iPhone it worked but with a new issue. My iPhone kept looping and would restart the Apple screen.
I did some research and after, uninstalling apps, resetting the app, pulled the SIM card, it still kept looping. Finally, I found out that Norton Antivirus had a Time bug, I had to change my date and time back to December 1, 2017 @ 5:42 PM and than reset my iPhone. Now my iPhone is working without interruptions.
VPN is good at times but I have at times manually have to set the VPN, daily and if I logout I have to re connect it manually.
Thanks for listening,
It protects and prevents you 1/5
Terrible software that causes problems when you are trying to sign in to online stores requiring a password. It causes the password to not be fully recognized leading to errors and sign in failures until you disable the features which is also annoying because it is nearly impossible to do so until you turn off the ‘on demand ‘ feature. While it protects you from hackers, it sure will isolate you from engaging in online activity that is necessary when you try to sign into familiar servers and browsers. I would not put in trust in such a protection software that prevents you from signing into sites like Amazon, Overstock, or Wells Fargo with your iPhone that it’s currently designed to protect. It can interfere with wireless and cellular transmissions.

Well, I uninstalled this app and a month later it charged me for it. Doesn’t the app say that when you uninstall all the purchases you have made will be discarded? Well, I got charged thirty dollars for this app and now I’m gonna get charged again. Thank you soooooooo much for your amazing WASTE OF MONEY.
Drains battery on iPad Air 3/5
Ever since I installed this app, the battery on my iPad Air has been draining much faster than usual. It is the only app that I have installed that works in the background. I have deleted the app to see what happens. Otherwise, the app did the job of checking for bad emails, etc.
I love/ super intuitive/ works like a charm
