    Got the app with a 14 day free trial. Told it not to set up a VPN. I already had one. It set up a VPN. Wouldn’t let me turn it off. Finally deleted VPN. Created an account to cancel subscription. Wouldn’t let me connect to the server over the last 3 days with the message “server error”. Sent in message to tech support. Never heard from them. Finally deleted app and was able to cancel the subscription through the App Store.

    Could not shut off vpn even when not wanted, it just kept coming back on over and over. Even though I have been a long time user I deleted it. Now I can finally read email without having to tap “load content” on each and every one.

    Norton 360 started giving me scary warning messages that my private Wi-Fi was compromised by a hacker. My firewall, router, VPN, showed no such issue. But getting this type of scary message from Norton 360 caused me to rebuild the router, change, passwords, change the security, only to have the same error message come up again from Norton 360, showing me that my Wi-Fi was hacked. Norton 360 gives you NO tools, reporting, or other means to find out where this message is coming from or what is going on. I went online and looked on the Internet, and found that this is a common issue with Norton 360, and often times people remove the application because of this erroneous error. Shame on Norton for giving scare tactics like this with no means to find out where the problem is originating. On top of that, good luck getting any help from Norton. They force you through this Q&A/troubleshooting site of theirs where you can look up what other people experienced or try to ask a question that gives you vague answers and doesn’t resolve anything. There is no such thing as customer support or a live person to help you with SERIOUS issues like this. Shame, shame shame

    The vpn sometimes blocked a few normal websites. Earlier I had mostly safe browsing until I noticed my online privacy was compromised. For a few weeks the vpn mysteriously switched on, then off automatically over mobile.

    SMS filtering does not work. I have turned on this feature and it has not blocked 1 message to date. I have to manually report and delete every single unknown message. In addition, I gave to constantly monitor if the “filter unknown messages is checked.

    Trying to find help and the chat now option is a bit named Kate, say you’re a bot! It will not let you type and gives you a list of options that eventually (3 in) will freeze, it’s all canned responses and canned options, about ready to cancel.

    Have used Norton 360 on my desktop for many years with decent performance. Decided to add it to my iOS devices. Not sure what it’s doing, because it runs in the background on the iPhone and iPad, and I rarely use public WiFi. But I have noticed that every single time I try to to update the app, it never installs on the first try. I have to wait for it to attempt to install, generate an error message and then try again. I’ve made sure the iOS is up to date first; still doesn’t work. Other than that, the app hopefully does what its supposed to do and I haven’t had battery life issues as reported by other users.

    the vpn service pops up a request to turn on vpn constantly. I have to “not allow” every 3 minutes. There seems to be no obvious way to disable this. I paid $50 for a year and had to delete the service.

    I activated my account on computer but to sign in on iPhone it needs the stupid easily beat bot captcha. Not the worst, but when you done know the size of a phone which means you can’t click buttons off screen then you wonder how safe a virus protection app is!!! Wow get it together! Figure out how to create software on all devices by testing if of course… a simple thing of QAing your own product shouldn't be that hard if you are someone millions of people pay to protect from viruses.

    I had issues I upgraded my Norton but nowhere did it say how much it will cost. 60 days money back so I guess I’ll wait until I get my ax bill and see the cost and if I want to keep this service. Not the best way to do business

Unfortunately Norton 360 has started blocking graphics and updates from Microsoft Solitaire Collection forcing me to uninstall the app periodically prior to the first of the month. It’s also blocking some end of game graphics. What’s up Norton?

    Impossible to login with the old school captcha security screen. The capture screen is off to the right side and unable to access so it’s impossible to log into account. Past experience was Norton software development was very poor. I would not consider renewing this as support for Password manager app was unprofessional people supporting it knew less about it and we’re not able to resolve problems, as I expect the same will be for this 360 app

    The left hand does not know what the right hand is doing. Norton was much easier when I was in the Kansas Air National Guard. New people come in with wacky ideas for change and usually get it wrong. The old adage if it ain’t broke don’t fix it comes to mind. I paid $79.95 Jan 20 NP285893389 and got nothing. Trying to contact Norton was like pulling hens teeth.

    Whether or not it protects I can’t say. But it did a great job of keeping me from using basic websites such as fakespot and seeing images in my email. It slowed everything down which was annoying. I deleted the app. I guess I’ll take my chances in exchange for being able to use my phone.

    Leave it to Norton to make it hard to get started. Signed up for the basic subscription but it won’t register. I try to restore purchase and it keeps failing. It shows that I’m subscribed under my Apple subscriptions. Piece of garbage.

    I used to buy Norton in the past so I decided to use the offer on mobile 360. Downloaded the trial , profile was created and I was waiting for the activation, in the meantime I propagate the same offer on my desktop and micro server. Nothing to do with activation, customer care just follow the script to drive me mad. After one month I do not have the activation, trial become paid subscription, my profile was canceled, micro server was injected by a malware and overheated until burned down. The smoke from the processor was inspirational, so smoking from heats and nose I contacted Norton csr asking for a supervisor. So the sup was kind and listening but pushed me to cancel subscription, sure so o think they are or acted as scammers, probably is very near to because they misuse my credit card, give no service at all not even a working software, make a damage and bring me to be furious, so furious to write a report to FTC for mishandling of credit card. I don’t need a 15$ back, I want the right refund for using my money, for joking with my trust, for burning down a micro server, and a lesson to pay attention when you sell a product service with no post selling. Customer service has this script to bring you near nerves collapse until you say words then they close the call or chat to keep the money. Yes because hours on the phone chatting with a “?” Is not really worth the 15$ right? That’s how companies do shadow business evading taxes and fake the marketplaces. I hope the real Norton management take control of this mishandling because I’m gonna ask for the entire fee plus the cost of the software. And I will Use clonezilla to clone every disk once a week on my nas, and incremental backup for data. Antivirus can infect whatever, I wipe all and clone from nas. No more windows only Linux and open-source, I won’t spend one dime on uneuseful apps.

    Having a VPN is supposed to allow you to browse freely. I am in a country where Disney plus and tik tok are blocked, and my friends can access these apps through their VPN’s, but Norton does not allow me to turn on my VPN. It just says ‘error’. And when I tried to submit a report through the app or go to the help center, I was unable to send the report, and the help center was not help in this problem. Don’t waste your money, because you won’t get help and it doesn’t work the way it should.

    Norton screwed up my computer and my iPhone. I couldn’t use the Apps already installed on my computer or Phone. I canceled my subscription and they still haven’t bothered to acknowledge their faults. Waisted my money because they didn’t bother trying to fix the issue and waited till after the 30 days to cancel so I COULDN’T get my my money back. Now my info is….. I don’t even want to think about it.

    I’ve had to remove this app twice for interfering with the basic usability of my phone. I guess one way to protect mobile device is to disable it, but that seems rather excessive. The device scanning functionability needs tweaking, or an option to halt the process when it’s misbehaving. Also network scanning was so obnoxious on an 11 hour flight that I had do uninstall to have basic online connectivity inflight. That’s not acceptable, particularly in that scenario. The app does do a good job of blocking nefarious sites embedded in various apps/sites, so I inevitably reinstall though am looking for a more viable solution if this app doesn’t get some more workable configurations and handling options.

    So I’ve been a customer with Norton Antivirus for at least 3 years now. As soon as I purchased my new iPhone 13 Pro Max in June of 2020, I downloaded Norton 360 onto it before leaving the store. Within days of purchasing this phone brand new from T-Mobile, my phone was hacked yet again (my previous iPhone 7 was hacked and rendered utterly useless). Today, I was visiting a website and received an alert from my Brave internet browser that attackers were trying to intercept my information. The message reads verbatim: “ Attackers might be trying to steal your information from (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more NSURLErrorServerCertificateUntrusted” What’s the point of having this software when it doesn’t even work? Also, the protection reports aren’t detailed and only tell you the number of threats you were supposedly protected from. Save your money bc this app will NOT protect you. I’m going to be making sure Norton pays for a new phone too.

    I purchased Norton 360 for my wife’s Ipad mini on the App Store. It would not activate. I went through several levels of support and was finally told that Apple was at fault, and I should take it up with them. This is a classic dodge when a software developer can’t fix a problem. I cancelled the purchase.

    The companys are terrible at customer support and are irresponsible with customer data. I have a big problem with the use of this application. The service disconnects from the VPN when the device is idle. This is a major security flaw since I have apps running in the background. Apart from disconnecting the device from WiFi, it also creates a security flaw and a financial risk, apps running in the background without WiFi run up my data usage plan. Customer service isn’t much help either, they disconnect due to the idle disconnection problem the application has.
