Menu and messages 3/5
It would be great if the message, or announcement section was below the menu. 99.9% of the users just want to see what’s for lunch. We don’t need to scroll through the announcement about lunch programs.

Boy this company has a lot of issues!
1) selected my state and typed my school which it found but another school comes up and no where to fix the problem. Programming glitch.
2) no where to contact customer support. Followed links to customer support and it wouldn’t let me send my inquiry.
Better go back to the drawing board

Really love that I have an app to check my kids school lunch menus. Rather than digging up some wrinkled up paper calendar somewhere that the school sent home in my kids backpack, I can pull it up on the spot and let my kids know what they are having next day for lunch. Super convenient.

This app is terrible. Sometimes it’s won’t let me change the payment option, and other times it cancels my reservation 5 minutes before I need it. Really needs to be improved.

I love this app because we chose our school and then it tells us what is for lunch very helpful if you don’t know what is for lunch, the only thing I don’t like about this is that every time I open the app it always has a notification saying “ menu app available” when I already have the app! Pls change that is you are reading this developer!!! Thank you!
Decent but has some frustrating flaws 4/5
The app works for its intended purpose for the most part, but I have some suggestions
- Please stop signing me out every time I use the app. I understand security is a concern but at least give us the option to remain logged in, or request a biometric authentication upon placing an order. Also the “remember me on this device” on the login screen does not work. I have to re enter my email address and password everyday.
- it’s frustrating to have to check the box for every category when adding an item to a cart. I tried to order a coffee this morning but was required to check like 8 boxes before I could add it to the cart, even though I wasn’t customizing the coffee at all.

For the most part, this app works fine, but it sometimes has connection issues. I’d have pretty decent service at my school and go to order my lunch but not be able to because the app wouldn’t load. The “Remember This Device” option also doesn’t work, so having to log in every time I order lunch is a tad tedious.
If these things were fixed, it would make the app a lot better

App works ok - a bit annoying you have to select child and delivery options every time, it would be great if it defaulted to an earlier selection.
Biggest gripe is that the app on iOs doesn’t keep me logged in. Every day I have to log in again, and it won’t retrieve my login credentials from iCloud passwords automatically. I have to manually select iCloud passwords, which then lists ALL my passwords (where it should know already I’m logging in to the nutrislice app but that doesn’t seem to work). After searching for the correct login for nutrislice the username and passwords fields are filled in from my iCloud keychain, but somehow the ‘login’ button stays disabled. Adding a space (or any character) to the password field and deleting the added character enables the login button.
This wouldn’t be such an issue if the app just would keep me logged in - but this has to be repeated every day!
Please fix the app’s login to automatically allow iCloud passwords to fill in my details correctly - and even better, allow Face ID to log in to the app?

The instructions tell you to click the top right menu and click “Log In” to create an account. The funny part is when you click the top right menu bar, there isn’t a Log In option. Awful App.

App works great. Except that if you are not on the app for more than 12 hours it seems to sign you out. It’s very annoying to have to re type my name and password in every time. Please fix this

This app is so awful. It is poorly optimized, is not updated frequently to keep up with constant bugs, and quite frankly this seems like an app that is in the beta testing stage rather than a product ready to be used every day.
My university has been using this app in place of in-person ordering (re:coronavirus pandemic), and I speak from two perspectives: as a customer, and as an employee who has to work with it.
First off, the bugs on the customer side of things..
1.) I randomly can’t login to my account, even after changing my password, and uninstalling/reinstalling the app.
2.) 40% of the time, after I place an order it will not actually go through. The customer only knows this when they go to pick up their food at the selected time, which then they are informed by the cashier that their order is not in the system. This makes them have to order food in person.
3.) every single time I open the app, I have to log in. It does not keep me logged in even if I close the app for two seconds by accident.
4.) if I accidentally close the app or go to another screen in-app that is not the menu or the cart, my cart is automatically cleared. This includes all the ingredients selected, so I have to go back and re-select things one by one again.
4.5) if I put things in my cart before logging in, the logging in process clears my cart.
5.) random error messages will appear when ordering food (example: “you’re clicking submit too fast!” “You’ve done that too many times!” “Order processing!”, none have codes for which I can look up and see the actual cause for these errors. I can do the same action and get a different response each time.
6.) duplicate orders happen sometimes.
Bugs and complaints on the employee side of things...
1.) The system lags out and the device needs to be restarted every evening. I have a hunch this ties in with the next complaint/bug...
2./2.5) once an order is marked fulfilled, it just sits in the system in the background, it does not ever get deleted. This means that we have all 3000+ orders from September 2020-February 2021 sitting there in the fulfilled tab, piling up. There needs to be a way to delete these, or at least have them deleted after an amount of time (I.e a week or month. This can be made to be customizable). It is backing things up, and whenever we have to go into the fulfilled tab to retrieve an order from the same day, everything either freezes or starts to severely lag. It’s gotten to the point where I have to type in the person’s name before I click on the filters, 2.5) since there is no way to only pull up the orders from that day and that day only.
3.) there’s no way to notify people that their orders are ready, nor notifying them of when the system doesn’t let the order go through.
I shall write down more as I think of them

I’m not sure who’s at fault, hence why I gave it 2 stars instead of 1, but this is my first time trying to use the app and it just says, “There is currently nothing on the menu today.” It says the same thing through the remainder of the month. Not super helpful...

I’ve used this app approximately a year from August 2019 to present. The update recently done is horrible. My favorite school used to automatically pop up. Now every time I open the app I have to search my location to access my favorite school. Accessing and toggling between breakfast and lunch were also easier in the older version.

The “+” symbol enabling you to add food choice to your bag does not always appear. Updated the version, deleted and reinstalled numerous times.
As well the drop-down to choose which student doesn’t always appear and when you try to check out, it says you have to choose whose profile- except - it’s impossible.

Nice app but I would suggest some modifications to make it much better.
If you allowed the user to be able to access the actual day they needed it would be much more helpful rather than searching through everyday, including Sat and Sun, to get there.
Also, if I need to get off of the app for a sec or answer a phone call all of my cart disappears by the time I get back to finishing my order.
Perhaps you can have a gluten free option under “filter and highlights”.
Also, if I always desire a specific drink or if I always select gluten free it would be helpful if my account could automatically default to it.
One last thing, can you offer gluten free bagels?
BTW- when selecting contacts the app doesn’t respond. This is why I writing a review here and not sending directly to Nutrislice.

Don’t know why my school uses this app. Poorly designed and constantly crashes.
This app has been helpful to prepare my new kindergartner what’s for breakfast and lunch each day. But how come you only offer one hot side item for lunch? Everyday it’s been like that. Most schools have 2-3 options for sides.

Hate the updated icon! Looks like Amazon’s evil twin, Namazon! The orange slice was defined, unique and so quick to find; a god-send for busy teachers. This new icon gets lost in the shuffle and is poor branding. Pity.

I would love this app so much more if it actually worked. More often than not I cannot access my kids schools menus. Heck, I can’t even search for our school after I know u saved them. So frustrating.

This app hasn’t loaded for me since mid 2019. I’ve tried with and without WiFi. I’ve deleted and re-downloaded. Nothing and it just keeps asking me if I want to wait or reload the page. Don’t waste your time.

This app is much more convenient than getting the paper lunch menus. It could load a bit faster, though. It takes about a minute or two to load the menus, which is quite annoying if I’m in a hurry. It also very rarely gives inaccurate menu items, which is a bit annoying but doesn’t happen very often. I’ll give it five stars if these issues are fixed.
