Very pleasant person and she met me in a secure location-Positive Local Purchase Item as promise
  • Great EBay Alternative 4/5

    By LuisM78
Mercari really is doing a great job managing their site. The only thing I think they could improve on is when searching by lowest price, the took shipping in to consideration. If you could make lowest price with shipping considered, that would really help a lot!!!
  • Buyers beware 1/5

This is why I hate buying on offerup you buy something from a seller he sells it to someone else and I get charged for the order don’t hear from the seller that he sold it to someone else
  • Barely usable anymore 2/5

This site literally attacks you with ads. It’s virtually impossible to find the items I’m looking for because of the mess.
  • Best and worst of offer up 4/5

    By The hole whirled
Worst- tons of scammers and fake ads and old ads, they need a 90 day auto delete. Best- great at providing updates about new ads related to your searches.
  • Very glitchy 2/5

    By Lotto.player.never.winner
Started an account and none of my posts were visible. Contacted customer service and they said it was some kind of technical problem that they took care of. 😩
  • Remove my account 1/5

    By Bebe1997$
My first transition that I brought from here went great. Months later I decided to buy something which is my second transition and all of sudden they canceled my payment and remove my account. I’m figuring how this happened because I didn’t do anything wrong. Reaching out to them to give my statement was like a waste of time.

It has potential, but still snagged by limited shipping options for sellers and delayed updates on postings and conversations.
  • Terrible app 1/5

    By DJDM09020552
I’ve used offer up for years and never had an issue until recent. With the influx of scam pages I fell victim to someone who scammed me and trying to reach out to OfferUp support has been all but pleasing. It’s been over a week and not only am I out of my item and the money I should have been paid but OfferUp has not replied to any of my messages via email, app support and even social media.
  • Music? Seriously? 1/5

1 star for adding background music. Off all the stupidest decisions one could make, this goes even beyond any comprehension.

  • Overloaded with SPAM!! 1/5

    By AllMotorAp2
A lot of my saved searches are now overrun by fake pages and spam! Search “Tacoma” and you will see that put of 200 items, more than half are fake for sale ads asking to email them for more information. For every post or page I report and block, 100 more pop up in minutes. FIX THIS ALREADY! Its getting out of hand.

I made over 1000$ off this app I love it!
  • Too many stores here…. 1/5

    By Sheaj20
The old “Let Go” site I loved was more like an open marketplace. This app seems more like a regular web browser. The listings are for regular furniture and shopping links. This wasn’t what I was looking for here…
  • When are yo going to fix all the Scam postings ! 1/5

By iPhone user ( chris )
It’s an ok app dose it’s job just has to many fake posts no matter how much you report it. The location settings are either to much or to little. Never had these problems when it was just let go.

  • Reliable 5/5

I’ve been using OfferUp for a few years now and I love the ease of using this to sell my items. The improvements they made have been wonderful through the years as well and really take in consideration what we as users want.

  • Doesn’t post ads 1/5

    By Abracadabraeric
I’ve used this app on the past and it used to work great. As of the past few months, when posting an ad, no one views the ad. This has been consistent with me for vehicles, furniture, and other car parts. Items that otherwise would have gotten a few hundred views literally get 0. I tried paying for ads to see if that fixed it. Nothing. No views and no sold items. OfferUp is a scam.
  • NEEDING Delete/Remove HELP!! -Too SLOW gov-fixed-income-impoverished..- 5/5

..- Not computer-skilled republicly under-schooled and Elderly worried too whether UNUSED app’s 3-day trial began at download?? Gaining old Ipad-Pro-ed sampling as new-Apple-user is THINKING, I never Signed-In thus avoiding an unused app’s Log-in. I HAD to skip Itune-Payment-System carefully, so how could any duration trial-for-pay trick an extremely-light sleeper like myself into over-estimating my affordability that soon? Maybe not my problem, but Please excuse my remaining confused throughout last night and morning by unclickable results at your Community-Help-Support Knowledge-Base. Because I am sure I downloaded ignorantly at least 2weeks ago, and meanwhile detained elsewhere embedded by technically bureaucratic difficulties. PS: Needing DELETE/REMOVE Help, beggingly please
  • Ghost Profiles 4/5

    By Suavecito Chris
It’s a great app until you find something really cool and the user hasn’t been on for 3 years. I get it it’s probably gone but at least take it down. Inactive profiles need to be taken down or placed on a freeze.

Downloaded to look at some used vehicles near me. This app is horrible apparently they never clean up the listings. 90% of what I saw was over a year old and up to 4 year old ads. What is the point of this

  • Beware Of Scammers & Customer Buying Protection 1/5

    By VaresQK
I got scammed out of $1450 in cash recently using this app while it provides easy access to products people are selling, the customer service is nonexistent and not helpful beyond the basic FAQ. I have proof and everything but because the transaction isn’t shown as paid on the app and the seller didn’t mark the product as sold now I’m out of money I had invested and it’s nothing that can be done about it. Also, there is no number to call for support from doing a lot of research and an email isn’t readily available listed to contact them either on their site. I even wrote them on Instagram, FB reported the user’s profile on the app no response so I’m never using this app again.
  • Cannot cancel trial subscription! 1/5

    By Danajfrank
This app is designed in a way that makes it impossible to cancel a subscription to promote your item. I signed up for the trial and canceled a few days later when I noticed there was ZERO increase of views, nor was my product promoted as promised. I canceled my subscription and the link timed out, giving me an error message. I went back to check my subscription listing on my phone (under ios settings) and it was not here so I thought it worked. NOPE! Not only was I charged for the full promotion cost but the app offers no way to cancel the subscription. Go ahead, try to find it in your app. There is NO way to cancel a subscription and there are conveniently no FAQs offered in the app for people who want to cancel. This is how the company makes your money. They steal it.
  • Too many ads… 1/5

    By T Law Firm
The app would be nice, but you are spammed with a million ads every time you open the app. You see more ads than you see posts for sale. And a majority of the posts for sale are actually scammers that the app refuses to take down.
  • They Didn’t Fulfill Their Obligation 1/5

    By newlife2006
I paid an extra $20 or so to have my item bumped up in their advertising for a month. My listing went 20 days without even one view. I had listed the same item directly prior to purchasing their “upgrade” and had over 40 views within a week. I tried contacting their support and got absolutely no response. They took me for $20. Doesn’t sound like a lot, right? But they took it in return for nothing. They stole my money.

  • Good marketplace, bad app 2/5

    By reeddavid1
There is lots for sale on OfferUp, but the app has design problems and bugs. I’ve kept the app updated, but they never seem to fix these issues: 1. Prices aren’t shown in search results, why must I click into every single listing individually just to see the price? 2. Destroys iPhone battery life, phone gets hot. There’s something seriously wrong with the app’s resource usage. This happens about half the times I use the app. 3. Navigation bugs: kicks me out of listings and list views, with no way to get back to what I was looking at. Especially when switching between apps, when I return to OfferUp, I lose my place and can’t find the listing I was on when I left the app. 4. Random annoying bugs: I get push notifications for saved search alerts, but clicking through the notification just dumps me into the app, not to the saved search I was alerted for. Why must I navigate manually to the specific item I was just notified about? Another issue: app constantly freezes in transition animations, and I have to force quit the app to start over. Overall, a surprisingly poor quality app given the technical resources of a company like OfferUp. I would be able to buy more from OfferUp sellers if the app worked better.
  • Great app but 1/5

    By Heather_616
Am I the only one having this problem? I’ve used offer up previous times and told a few iteams and bought etc, a month back I tried to do I but o my account and I was “logged out” and there’s this bear on the screen saying “something went wrong” I have tried turning my phone on and off uninstalling and installing and it continues to tell me this, I have tried with other phones of family members and their works just fine mine seems to be the only one affected

  • Too many scams 1/5

    By alberto elizondo
You guys need better systems to find out all those scammers specifically in cars adds from every 10 cars 7 are scammers
  • You made the app unusable 1/5

Can not scroll through, because when i scroll over an advertisement it instantly takes me there. You ruined the app with those shabby ads
  • App is alright 1/5

    By Honest review 🤰🏻🤰🏻
It’s like a less useful Facebook marketplace with more scams, robberies, unresponsive buyers/sellers and HORRIBLE support team, they are very cheap and do not take responsibilities for any issues that occur when you use the app to ship a product.
  • Poor User Interface 2/5

    By crookedline
App itself is fine. The user interface is what makes me so averse to using this. Swiping left, right, up, and down is difficult and not smooth. I have to swipe so ever slowly and swipe over half the screen in order to achieve the swiping result. This makes browsing difficult, and I find myself quitting the app after browsing 1-2 items maximum. Editing the description within the app is also very wonky. Instead of highlighting one word, double tapping highlights the entire paragraph. Dragging the cursor will then highlight the ENTIRE description. Anything that involves highlighting, moving cursor, copying, cutting, pasting, and editing is overall wonky and extremely frustrating. This is why everyone writes few words in the description and call it a day. These poorly editing function makes the quality of all description items poorer than other selling apps such as Poshmark or Mercari. The appearance is also a little outdated. Considering that OfferUp is one of the most highly used selling apps on App Store, the user experience is quite unenjoyable. I feel like I mostly post just because I want to sell some of my old items, but don’t use this for actually shopping or browsing.
  • Management 1/5

    By ZoeyZilla22
Ran like the gustapo. Try to talk to a live person. eBay is way better. If you need to talk to someone you can. OfferUp will take your money for months and won’t even tell you why. Worse selling platform there is!!
  • Scams only? 1/5

    By farmboss21
I’ve tried to buy four items here, every single one was a scam. People asking for address phone number and payment, wouldn’t let me see the item or pick it up or anything. Such a waste of time! Really sad that this is how we “sell” things now
  • Mostly good 4/5

    By That Woodsy Guy
The Good: Search results are quick! Pictures are easy to view and behave in predictable ways when zooming, scrolling, etc. Filtering results by distance from the user works well for items listed for local pickup. The Bad: Notifications just don’t work right on iOS or Android. This app puts items from eBay and other platforms in the way of your search results making it more difficult to find what you’re looking for. Such items are usually far outside the search radius. The listings are also not taken down unless intentionally removed by the seller. That sounds good until you waste your time sorting through search results that contain lots of ads so old the sellers don’t even remember listing the item.
