Found the fix to the app issue 5/5
Update: just spoke with customer service about disputing a charge and mentioned the app no longer worked due to the text portion being grayed out and it wouldn’t call for verification. Here is how to get it to work again. Log Into your account on the web. Once you see your account details click the upper left drop down menu. Click on settings then my settings. Go down to security options. You will see an edit option directly to the right of this. Click on edit to enable text. Once it says text enabled next to your phone number you can go to the app and log in. You will now see that the text portion is no longer grayed out. Click text. You will receive the text with 6 digits and you have to respond in a text back the numbers sent. Once you receive the confirmation text back you can Then go back to the app and it will sign you in. I can now use the app without issue. You would think that the developers would have responded to so many of us having this same issue since it is such an easy fix. I never thought the customer service rep would be the one to be able to help me figure this out. I’ve been without this since July thinking it was a problem with the app itself. Thank you customer service representative!
Fix the app PLEASE!! This app used to work flawlessly but I went to sign in and wanted a 2 point verification. So the text portion is grayed out so I cannot use it then I hit the call me portion and it states it can’t call me and use the text option. So now the app is useless and I hate the web version. You cannot do an e check deposit on the web version. This is so inconvenient. I’m not sure why you changed to this is it won’t call you and the text option is grayed out. The web version was able to call me to verify though so at least I can see my account but I want the app to work. I’m disabled and cannot get to the bank to deposit checks.

I switched to a new iPhone 11 Pro Max. When I try to login, it wants me to confirm with a phone call. The text message option is grayed out. As soon as you hit the call button, it immediately says it couldn’t call. Tried dozens of times over a week. App is broken. Everything works fine on website.

I have tried on several occasions to log in via app. Each attempt, it requests a verification code and only offers me the option of receiving the code by calling me. Then when I select that option, it says it cannot call me and to try to get the code via text or log in online. Of course it doesn’t allow me to select the text option so no log in for me, I guess.

I use the app almost every day and it does almost everything I want. It used to show my mortgage account too. Why is that gone? Also, I very much like the switch to showing available balance larger. Please make the same change on the Apple Watch.

The option to verify using a text message is disabled, and the Call Me option always fails. Until this is fixed the app is unusable.
I love ONB. But this app is soooo slow loading and changing accounts it’s ridiculous. And I’m on WiFi at that. No other apps , just ONB app. I’m a bit irritated at the moment , I should have gave it a bit better rating because 2 stars isn’t fair. Everything else about the app is great. It’s just waiting on things to load when it’s that slow is nerve racking

I had this app for a while and it worked great but I recently had gotten a new phone and downloaded the app and they needed to confirm my identity in a text or call. It would not let me click on the text option so I tried the calling option and even after multiple tries it kept saying “unable to confirm my identity at this time.” So I’m not even able to see my account information now unless I go to the bank or login through their website. I also tried fixing it through their help suggestions and it still wouldn’t work. I’d suggest the app if it would actually work for me

While easy to open the account online, very difficult to close the account. Stated I needed to visit a banking center or fax/mail a letter to close the account. When I opened the account no letter/fax needed.

It would be beneficial if the app reported transactions (transfers) in real time as the Kleinbank app did.
In 2019, I just feel that an app should be quicker to post transaction information that reassures the user of the exact location in which the card was charged. Some of these transactions sit as pending for days, which is fine, but should at lease show the merchant in the description while pending. My wife uses my card more than I do so I like to see exactly what was spent for budget and I also was hacked on this account a couple years back.

I love the convenience of the app and bill pay, but wish the calendar (when you schedule bill pay or make a payment) was an actual calendar or at least had the week day with it. It’s hard to know if you or picking a non business day when looking at date only. Other than that, I really like the app function.

Every time I try to make a loan payment over my phone the screen glitches and the options start moving to the right and off the screen. It’s extremely inconvenient and I have given up using the app to pay my bill.

Monthly statements almost arrive in the mail before my account shows accurate balances. The notification feature is worthless because it’s so delayed. If set to notify you of a large transaction is made or low balance you won’t get a notification until 3 days later

Other banks have it to where you can scan checks to deposit. This one doesn’t. It has all but that. So it’s a pretty nice app. But having that feature would make it awesome
I don’t like how you can’t see where your transactions are pending from. Other banks have apps where even the pending transaction say where they are from.

Does not show payments paid until they post!!!! Does not even show when you make a mortgage payment and the loan is with them. You can’t transfer directly from your checking account to pay your mortgage- REALLY!!!

I’ve been using the ONB app for about a year now. It has made my life a lot easier. I travel a lot and this way I can keep track of all my business and personal checking and savings accounts. It’s easy to use. I often use bill payment on the app, I can transfer money and pay other bills. So, I highly recommend it.

I’m so tired of getting a service fee of nearly $7 just because I’m poor. You have to have at least $500 deposited at a time or keep a minimum of $1000 in your account at all times not to get this fee. But I don’t make that much and all my money goes to bills. I’m finding a new bank that actually cares about their customers instead of caring about money. STOP CHARGING PEOPLE FOR BEING POOR!

They steal money from you and when you call to figure out why it takes two times on hold for over an hour just for them to figure out why they are taking your money. Worst company and least ethical in America and my small bank they took over never took money from me in 20 years. Would feel safer and lose less money keeping it under my mattress. On line was just a convenience until my bank moved out of town. I used direct deposit until I didn’t but that was ok cause I used my mobile and they left the ATM so I got cash with no charge.
Now there’s no bank and no ATM but that’s ok. I moved away so now I use my mobile for deposits and Walmart for cash back. It’s all good. TY
