OOTT is the companion app for your self-hosted OOTT network monitor — know the moment anything joins your network. OOTT quietly watches your local network and alerts you the instant a new or changed device appears. No agents on your devices, no cloud middleman, no data leaving your control. Run the backend on your own hardware, then use this app to configure it and explore everything it discovers. What it does • Instant alerts — Get notified the moment it matters: a brand-new device joins your network, a known device changes its IP address or hardware vendor, or a device comes back online after being away. • Multi-protocol discovery — The backend finds devices using ARP sweeps backed by passive mDNS/Bonjour, SSDP/UPnP and DHCP discovery, plus optional SNMP polling of your gateway — so little slips past it. • A living map of your network — Browse every device in detail, see its history, and build an organized database of everything connected to your network. • Private by design — OOTT is self-hosted. Your network data stays on your own hardware and never leaves your control. Important: this app requires the OOTT backend OOTT is an open-source system with two parts: a backend service you run yourself (Docker, NixOS, or from source) and this app to drive it. The app connects to your backend over your local network using an API key you set. You'll need the backend running before signing in — full setup takes only minutes.
