Terrible App Navigation 1/5
If you go to multiple studios it will not show your classes for different locations. You have to basically logout, select United States, then your state, then your studio. Just a poor and lazy design.
Can’t even log in to find out how terrible it is 1/5
Tried to log in with the temporary password they gave me. App says, hey, we notice you already have a MindBody account, please use that login. Use that login, app says my user name and password are no good, and eventually locks me out after several tries. Try to reset password, but no password reset email is sent. Try to log in through the web site, but the main page doesn’t even have a place to log in. Call the studio. They reset my password and guide me through drilling down to my local studio page, where I can log in with the new temporary password. I’m in. But I can’t book any workouts. And the new temporary password doesn’t work in the app either. It still wants my MindBody login. I go to reset the password on the WebSite. It sends me an email to reset my, wait for it, MindBody password. Which I do. But the app rejects my new password too. I’d like to log out of the web site and log back in to see if the new MindBody password is working there. But the web site doesn’t have any apparent means to log out! The gal at the studio said someone would call me. Still waiting. This is some sad, sad, sorry tech.
Keeps crashing 1/5
I’m not sure exactly what has happened to this app in the last week, but I cannot book an extra class for my billing month. Every time I get to the point where I click “buy”, the app closes and crashes. I’ll have to call my studio to book those classes. I hope they are working on fixing this soon.

I am a eilite/ unlimited member who used to book my classes up to 6 months in advance and now with this stupid policy change I can not book even 2 weeks from now because of my cycle. And I am only signed up for 3 classes. This is crazy. Thinking about un-e rolling. Too many unnecessary changes... such as the screen which no one can see their name anymore. Very unhappy and frustrated.

Love OTF. HATE this app. Like other reviewers, I use multiple studios and this app does NOT make that easy. 90% of the time, if I want to book a class in a studio that is not my home studio, I cannot do so without paying the $30 drop-in rate even though I am a premier member.
The most frustrating part about this is that it is a known issue but nothing is being done to correct it. When I call the studio to book, they say that they know this is an issue and to try the mind body app (which also charges outside my home studio) or to just call to book. What’s the point in an app then? If it’s a known issue, you’d think t would be a priority to fix.

This app is one of the worst apps I’ve come across. Most recent bit of fun was it being down all day and when I finally get back in doesn’t recognize my settings (IE my unlimited pass). So now I get to call the studio yet again to book an appointment. Solid work guys

please fix the bugs. i just want to open the app to book classes and it’s stuck in a loop that tells me to update (which i did) then tells me i need to update again (which i can’t)

I only have a couple of apps that I really need to work right, and this is one of them. Unfortunately, it fails in almost every conceivable way: 1) doesn’t communicate my membership to the various locations I use; 2) crashes more frequently than it works; 3) no map to show where the actual studios are- “Northshore” doesn’t tell me much about where that studio is, so how will I know where to go?; 4) similar to #3, no addresses provided for the studios to verify you booked the intended one; 5) the studio finder function is abysmal. You have to tell it which country, state, etc every time you do a search.
I could go on. Just fix it, please.
OT APP 1/5
I have just become a new member of OT, and I downloaded the app & it will not let me open it. It keeps saying I have to update it, which it is, or it’ll say check my connection but I have service and WiFi! I’ve tried to redownload the app three times and it continues to say the same thing. There’s no option for me to “update” the app. I just got it today so I don’t see why this is happening. Other than that, I love orange theory and their classes

This app is horrible. I have deleted and reinstalled hundreds of times and it still gives me message that it can’t connect to the server. There is no other way to schedule classes other then calling the studio. The app is just a disaster!

The app has worked in the past, but the app can’t talk to the server today. There’s no support on the website for the app even though the App Store points you to the main site for support. Contact us yields links find studios, franchise opportunities, or press inquiries. Great workouts, lacks app support.

Having a working app is essential to The success of Orange Theory. Please get this fixed.
This app is terrible. I pay for the unlimited package and have similar issues to the other reviewers. I cannot book past my bill date at studios outside of my home studio. I also cannot add myself to a waitlist at a studio outside of my home studio. While you can call to be added to a waitlist, it is annoying to have to call... mostly because the studio hardly ever answer their phones. So I usually just give up.
Our studios just upgraded their in-studio boards (which was not a needed change) but we’re all still waiting on an app that works!🙄

Considering how quickly OTF studios are popping up all over the place it would be nice if they could take the time to improve this app.
1. All the studios aren’t connected because they are all franchises, so if you workout at more than one studio you can’t see all your classes at once.
2. For whatever reason the app doesn’t allow you to book classes anywhere around your payment date and you have to call the studio to book anyway.
3. It doesn’t collect your class stats anywhere.

My app keeps telling me my password is wrong. But it’s not. I can use the exact same password online and it is correct. Also, it only allows me to sign up for a certain number of classes per month even though I have the premier membership. It is SO frustrating. I really wish I could contact the developers or the corporate people to tell them this, but you can only contact studios.

You can go to several studios but they don’t synch on the app. It’s almost unbelievable. Like the workouts but not a very well-structured company.

Consider these as suggestions when updating your app.
1. When i book classes i should be able to see where ALL my classes are booked. Right now it just shows the classes i have booked based on the last place i just booked a class.
2. No matter where i take my classes i should be able to see my zones, calories burned etc. not just when you email it to me.
Can’t open App 1/5
I haven’t been able to open this app in two days. I have rebooted my phone. Deleted the app and reinstalled, I’m connected to Wi-Fi and have data as a backup, and I am still getting an error message that states “There was a problem reaching the server. Please check your internet connection. Try again or cancel.” Help please!

I hate this app. I am charged more no show because when I’m waitlisted at my Home gym, I schedule other locations but then I have to remember what other locations I signed up at to see what time/place I’m supposed to be. Hate this app!
Needs better calendar export 3/5
App is OK and is easier than booking through the website. The developers need to improve calendar export to be able to set reminders for any class you book. Currently, you can only set a calendar reminder at the moment you book a class that has an open spot. If you are moved from a waitlist, then as far as I can tell you cannot set a reminder for that class. Speaking of waitlists, it would be handy if the app showed how may people are on the waitlist for a given class. Right now you have to join the waitlist to see.

Have been trying to iron out some login issues for over two weeks. Unable to get anywhere with OTF or Mindbody. They’re happy to continue to take my money though. Will be cancelling my membership and taking my hard earned money elsewhere

First off, I love Orange theory, but this app is so bad I think I might have to quit. There’s no overview of all the classes you are ATTEMPTING to join. If you need to go to multiple studios the only way to know if you have booked a class or not is if you toggle between all the studio tabs. This is extremely frustrating. Also, if you are trying to book your workouts for the week and one of the studios you are close to puts you on a waitlist, and you get accepted to another studio, you don’t get an alert if you get to the front of the waitlist, resulting in missing the class and paying a $12 no show fee when you already pay for the most expensive membership. I’m really at my wits end with this.

The issues I have with the app are intermittent, but they’re costing me money. Combined with the lack of any tech support or contact at the corporate level, that’s a one star review.
Take schedule confirmations with a grain of salt and consider confirming with the studio. I’ve had the recurring issue of being dropped from waitlists. This happens automatically inside the 8hr, no-cancel window (which is a terrible design), but it also appears to happen at random outside that window.
Most recently, I joined a Thursday waitlist on Sunday, still saw that status on Tuesday, but found myself dropped by Wednesday evening. If I miss a scheduled workout because I forgot, OTF will charge me an extra fee. If I show up and don’t workout because they screwed up, there’s nothing I can do except complain pointlessly to the studio. 👎

The app generally works okay for booking classes. I only go to one studio so it’s easy. But I trying to buy an additional class and the app keeps crashing. It worked okay last week - not sure what changed.

I dont understand how such a sucessful fitness company can have a such a terrible app. Consistently unable to book on the app (even though thats the entire point of the app). Even when classes are open and I have not used all my classes for the month.

Had no issues with app and just did an update and now my classes are showing anymore.
It is beyond annoying to be unable to book classes on this app when my next monthly unlimited charge is going to hit my credit card. Get a month ahead so this doesn’t happen please.
Why can’t we book beyond our pay date?? 2/5
What a pain to have to have a staff member book my classes for me before my pay date. I get billed on the 2nd of each month so about 2 weeks before then, I have to have a staff member book my classes for me; otherwise, if I wait til the 2nd, I won’t get into my regular classes. It makes it hard to stay on top of my schedule. I want o book every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:45 and be done with it.

I only give it 2 stars cause it does work... Why does the main screen need to reload every time you book a class and go back?? Just update the individual cell instead of fetching all the data from the server again. I could code a better app with my eyes closed.

I hate that you can’t book a class past your billing date. I understand not booking months out, but if i forget to call or schedule for those first few days after my billing date, I can’t get in.
I’m struggling getting into the app at all since I got a new phone. It says there is a new version, but I just uploaded whatever is available and I keep getting the same message. Very frustrating.

Upgraded my phone and now I can’t even login. Entered password and it said it was incorrect. So I went to reset through their site, mindbody, and it still says it’s not the correct password associated with the mindbody account. Who developed this worthless app?

Book your OT classes using MINDBODY! It lets you book at different locations without putting cc info or having to call the studio! I just tried it and it worked... as long as you’re within your billing cycle... unfortunately there’s no fix for that yet that I know of. Hopefully they update this app so it’s more useful... until then MINDBODY is the way to go.

At least 70% of the time when I’m trying to use the app it says it can’t connect to the server. Then you basically can’t even use it for anything beside you home location because it will ask you to buy services. Beyond annoying please just work on making this operational or figure out another way

Update 2/24-The app was working fine for a few weeks and now I am having the same issue AGAIN where it takes me to a “buy services” page even though I have an unlimited membership and I auto-pay!!! Please OTF GET THIS FIXED!!!
I’m in the same predicament as many other reviewers-Because the OTF location I now go to is not my home base, I am unable to book classes. I have to call in or remember after a class to book in person. How is this still not fixed after all these complaints?!

Terribly inconsistent 1/5
When the app works, it’s great for easy scheduling. However, it regularly logs me out and does not recognize my credentials to log back in. I have tried to have the gym reset my password and tried to reset my password myself which do not work. Many times even when I am logged in, it doesn’t recognize that I have an unlimited membership and will try to charge me for adding classes. This has happened numerous times over the last 3 years and seems to be worse when there are iOS updates.
