Love this app! It helps visually see everything you log and helps predict what’s coming. It helped me conceive my first daughter! Highly recommend this app!
It’d be really nice to know the statistical data. How many using the app to percentage of pregnancies, miscarriages, PCOS, endometriosis, etc and also see how it compares with medical studies and data. This could be really powerful for women’s healthcare around the world!
I love this app! It helps me keep track of my cycle.
Love Ovia 5/5
I’m not one to rate an app but I really love this one! I downloaded the app in preparation of getting pregnant, but it offers so much more than that. Whether you’re tracking periods, moods, food, ovulation etc. It’s like a diary for ALL things related to your body and esp your lady parts. It’s important information to have, but many of us rarely keep track; because well, there’s life and who has time to keep up with when your last bowel movement was? Ovia makes it super simple. It is so easy to navigate and allows you to easily see the information you’ve input at a glance. You can even customize it by changing colors and backgrounds. I mean they thought of everything. I love the articles and recipes they share. The app promotes healthy lifestyle and provides articles related to those burning questions you have during different stages of your life. I tried a few other apps and this one if by far the best. Thanks Ovia. You had to have been created by a woman!
Love this app 5/5
Got pregnant in a few short months❤️
Love Love Love! 5/5
My husband and I are TTC and this app is so fun and gives me a positive vibe every time I open it. It’s easy and fun to use. 5 star rating for sure.
Right on track 5/5
As long as you keep the info up to date about when you start etc this app has been extremely accurate. I am loving that i can look at the calendar and know exactly when i am going to start or even ovulate if you are trying to get pregnant. I even tested the ovulation stage with test strips and it was right on track!
Pretty dang awesome 4/5
In the few days of using Ovia I feel very confident in tracking the TTC phase. I’ll be a first time mother, and ovia is teaching me a lot of things I didn’t know. Very much like it so far.
Love the app 5/5
I love this app. It helped me to keep track of my fertile days and was able to get pregnant. Definitely a great app. My son is now 2. I also used the Ovia pregnancy app and I loved the informative updates on my son as he grew in my belly. If you have never tried this app it is well worth the download.
Good app 5/5
Helps me keep track of my cycle and is pretty darn accurate
Use to love it 1/5
I’ve had this app for about a year. I loved it.... but in recent months it’s changed. I can’t add stuff like I use to. I can’t add when my cycle starts or when I was intimate with my husband which pretty much renders this app useless.
Great cycle tracker 3/5
I am trying to get more in tune with my
Body and cycle which the app does well; however I am not trying to conceive, which is something I informed the app about. However I keep getting information on how TTC works and talking about BFPs which does not apply. Also, when the app asks like 100+ questions about you and your fertility history, it doesn’t seem to track or store answers and asked repeated questions about previous pregnancy and full term births and things and was super insensitive to and not registering of the fact that miscarriages or abortions can occur and not all pregnancies result in babies
Stop Shame Around Menstruation 3/5
I’m just get started with the app, and from a usability perspective so far it seems fine. I predominately track basal body temperature and cervical fluid daily as part of the Fertility Awareness Method, so I’d prefer if those fields were closer to the top to minimize scrolling.
The main reason for the mediocre score is the apps use of negative language around menstruation. In one section the app literally says “Nobody likes being on their period...” That’s no true! Some of us have had to work long and hard to get periods and are grateful when it comes, as it’s a sign of a happy health body. Also, the app recommends hormonal birth control to treat irregular periods. Eek! Hormonal birth control just masks the underlying causes of an irregular period. I direct app content developers to Lara Briden’s The Period Repair manual. More and more evidence is showing the detrimental effects of ongoing use of hormonal birth control for some women, especially those with conditions like PCOS.
I like what the app is working towards, but it still represents some pretty unhealthy misconceptions around menstruation and women’s health. Please review and update your content. I’d love to give you 5 stars.
Works very well for tracking period and mood 5/5
Really great app to keep track of your periods and your mood. Has been super helpful for me. Highly recommend it!

It’s easy to use. They send reminders to update your documentation. They give you the mode to bring your own data to your doctor so you can have educated conversations about the health care that’s right for YOU. I love this app.
Good but slight problem 4/5
For the most part this app is pretty good and i like it, however there’s one problem that really annoys me. I am not ttc, and i set the app to “track my period”, however it still treats me as if i am ttc, like telling me to eat certain foods to nourish my pregnancy or telling me when it comes to certain symptoms that I might be pregnant. I’m trying to avoid a pregnancy, not have one. And it’s slightly stressing me out and making me second guess myself when it says this happens if I’m pregnant. Overall good app, but please fix this one issue.
Got Pregnant on the First Try! Thanks Ovia! 5/5
I had a very irregular cycle, so when we decided to start trying for a baby I wasn’t sure how easy it would be to pinpoint when I was ovulating. With the help of Ovia, I tracked my cycles and got a more clear picture which helped determine the best time to try. Happy to report we got pregnant right away!
Recommend it ! 5/5
Girl you’ll be pleased try out the app if you don’t like it find another but I really like this app it’s useful and helpful in so many areas
Boring after a few months 4/5
This app is very accurate, but after so long it gets boring and you don’t want to use it as much. It would be nice if after so long they would update it to make it more interesting to use.
Start using the app in May 2018 when I got off the pill and in November 2018 I needed to upgrade my app to Ovia Pregnancy!!! I am now 6 and half months pregnant! Excellent app!
Best app ever 5/5
I’ve gotten pregnant 2 times with this app.
The days it tell me my period is expected is on point, ovulation and most Fertile day to. I would recommend this app to anyone that trying to get pregnant or just wants to track there period.
Great app, but needs some more infertility options 4/5
I really like the Ovia app. It’s been extremely helpful during our two years of TTC. I like having all the data in one place, being able to go back months to check if something has happened before on that point in my cycle.
The one place I think Ovia needs some work is on infertility. I did notice some changes about a year ago that added a bit more functionality for tracking fertility issues, but I think some more options in the actual data tracking would be helpful. For example, being able to record IUI dates, IVF dates (egg retrieval/transfer, etc.) instead of just “I had sex!”
I also think the medications could be easier to record. Instead of having to search through the list every time, it would be great if I could set recurring meds and have them sticky at the top of the list, or something.
Amazingly thorough app. 5/5
I haven’t been using this but about a month or two. However I am extremely impressed with how thorough and the insights and ease to use this app! Hopefully it stays this seamless! I am thoroughly impressed and this is the first time I have bothered to write a review so that is a testament to how much I like it! Thanks for all the hard work you put into it!
This is a nice app, but it drives me nuts that you have to answer questions in order to see the answers. Often, I don’t know the answer, i also have the question!
I love this app! But... 5/5
By ginger imp
I love this app! It’s so easy to use, and gives you plenty of information about the info you give it, this is the app I used to get pregnant with my daughter and I highly recommend it to all my TTC friends! My one and only problem with the app is that I can’t 100% accurately input information because of the choice given. For example sometimes my cervical mucus will be One color, but a different consistency than the option for the color it is. It would be a lot easier if it had the option to pick a color and consistency in a different selection, like how it gives with spotting. (You pick spotting and it asks about the color)
Someone like me 4/5
I have extremely irregular periods, I wish there was a better way of tracking that, if I go to long without out a period the app resets my averages and my projections! Thus making it impossible for me to find and figure out and patterns. I’ve been toc for along time
I liked this app 4/5
The app is easy to use. I used Ovia while my husband and I were trying to conceive (and we are now expecting our little one this October). At the beginning I was trying to track everything - water intake, nutrition, hours I slept, etc - but it because too much. Eventually I just stuck to logging when we had sex and when I got my period. I feel like for the most part the app got my fertile days correct, but I never took ovulation tests or my temperature. My cycles were always very consistent. I really liked that there was a community, but eventually I had to avoid it because everyone symptom spotting was making me do the same. One thing that would be nice is if the app could also work on the Apple Watch. I would have liked to be able to put in logs through the Watch.
Love it 5/5
Been using Ovia for the past 4 years and I love it !
Best tracker! 5/5
I’ve been trying to conceive for 4 years and before starting that journey I didn’t know much about timing and how important it is to track your cycle. Using this app made it super easy and quick to log in symptoms and keep up with my activity. It shows you your most fertile days and I’m now 3 months pregnant! And having record of everything let me track down the exact day of conception. Super helpful!! The ovia pregnancy app is also really great.
Love Ovia BUT 4/5
By TX Ti
I’ve had Ovia for at least a year now and I still can’t stop comparing it to the Glow app. So unfortunately I use both. Glow gives me a lot better insights on the data I input such as CM, if it’s the consistency it should be. Whereas with Ovia it just shows w/e I put. Glow allows you to also put when your period is late and if you do start you simply click the button for starting your cycle and it adjust future dates. Ovia hasn’t given me any issues but I feel eventually I’ll just use the one that will educate me more.
Wrong algorithms 1/5

I've been using Ovia for a year. I check my Hcg surge using strips. It never matches. I entered my historical data into fertility friend app recommended on Reddit, perfect match. If you're struggling to conceive, I do not recommend this app. I missed my fertile window this month by following the Ovia calendar. I will no longer be using it.
The perfect app for natural family planning 5/5
My sister recommended this app when deciding to remove my birth control in order to start planning for another pregnancy.
This app is so easy and simple to use. It has so many details to help you in tracking everything. You are able to get to know your body very well. So many great things I love about this app.
I suggest trying it out if you are wanting to use it for a natural birth control or if you are trying to get pregnant.
I also love that they have other apps for each stage. I already have the other apps downloaded. It’s all so very very helpful!
This app is amazing. 5/5
Honestly! It is! I'm not just writing this to be nice, it's seriously amazing and it's so weird because I start my period the EXACT date it says I have used this app for years and years I’m on birth control now but I do have regular periods. I love this app. Very well done
I’ve used quite a few period/fertility apps & Ovia is the most accurate one, yet! It’s also the most user friendly for me.I used this app to track my period, ovulation & to get pregnant.
Great, but needs to connect to MyFitnessPal & Apple Watch 4/5
I love the app! However, it gives an option to pair it with Apple Watch and my fitness pal, but doesn’t. It’s frustrating to have to constantly update the app while having to manage my other apps as well. Just something to think about. Other than that. It’s perfect!
I thought the community part where you ask questions would be there for support but apparently not, there are some rude people that comment rude things. And when you try to flag them to take the comment down the app doesn’t do that. Wish it had more supportive people.
Great for tracking! 5/5
I use this app just to track my period. I used to have a irregular period & this app really helped with keeping up with it. Now that my period has become regular, the app has been able to tell me the exact day that I will start & it’s never been wrong, compared to other apps I’ve tried.
Don't share your private information 1/5

This app is great for those who don’t take birth control 3/5
By Titanium Vixen
I started using this app to track my periods, and it worked well with when I was about to start my next cycle, and when I was supposed to be fertile. It changed however when I went to get the Nexplanon ( hormonal birth control) under my left arm. I got that around December, and I’ve been have inconsistent cycles.. the app doesn’t work well with those who have inconsistent cycles. I’m so used to having a normal cycle that there’s days I’m worried somethings not right. I think the app works well for those wanting to conceive, but for those like me who don’t, it’s not that great. There’s no option to say your on birth control either.
I love this app and have been using it for almost two years now. I do have some suggestions to add. So mood can we add something like tired, fatigue, sleepy or exhausted? Any of them work. Also for breast symptoms it would be nice to have “fullness” added to the list.
By Turkey legs in soup sause
The app is no longer predicting my next period. It continues to say I’m in the proliferative phase and my fertility score won’t change it was been at 1.0 for a week now. I’m not sure what the issue is, but this has to be fixed. Is anyone else having this issue? The app is normally a 5 star but until this is fixed it is a 1 star.

Great for getting those positives, doesn’t handle losses well 4/5
I started using the Ovia Fertility app initially to track my periods and get a sense of my cycle before my husband and I were ready to TTC (I had a copper IUD so I wanted to be able to track the changes once it was removed). As a period tracker and as a fertility tracker once we were TTC it was super useful for the most part. I agree with other reviewers that I would some way (other than me writing it in as note) to mark when I’m late for an expected period instead of the app just resetting the cycle count. Overall I’m happy with the app when I’m TTC and I loved the sister pregnancy app.
Unfortunately, I’ve had two miscarriages and neither app does a good job in handling those. With my first one, I ended up having to mark it as a “period” to track the bleeding and stop the app from telling me to take a pregnancy test. After we got the second positive test, I found out the pregnancy app hadn’t updated itself from the first loss. It was an emotional sucker punch to log in and be told that I was only a couple of weeks away from my original due date. With this second loss, and again despite informing the apps of the miscarriage, nothing has changed in my fertility app. I don’t want to mark it as a period but the app now has me on some crazy cycle day. I don’t want to reset everything and lose all the data but it needs to have a system in place to track these without creating huge outlier cycles...
New user 5/5
I just started using the app but so far, I really like it! I love that there is also a version of the app for pregnancy, and parenting too (I think!). I love that the app can grow with me as my life changes as well!
Please review update 2/5
Ever since there was un update on the app,I haven’t been able to make changes to my account. Now it’s tracking a wrong menstrual cycle. I’ve tried to edit it but it won’t let me. It’s very frustrating....
Great for tracking. Unfavorable community. 3/5
I used this app when trying to conceive my first born. I mainly used it for tracking symptoms and cycle days. The community factor, in my opinion, is horrendous. Having this ability in the app is just a way for women to question themselves and over analyze everything going on with their body. We are already stressed enough, wondering if this is our month. Then you add on negative comments when you ask a simple question. It’s great and all to know someone else is going through the same thing as you- it’s comforting. But for people to outright just diminish a woman’s hopes of being pregnant is awful. I think this feature needs to be either altered or removed all together.
Not TTC 4/5
By Emily Doula
I love Ovia and I used it when I was TTC (my now 3 year old) and since I loved it so much I wanted to start using it again, however this go-around we are not (yet) TTC and the app is heavily TTC influenced. So I would appreciate a version that was more for avoiding pregnancy.
However, this app is beautiful, easy to use and overall the best fertility awareness app I’ve seen.
Good for healthy pregnancies 3/5
I think I gave this feedback years ago when I last used this app and I’m disappointed to see that it hasn’t been fixed. There are more ways for cycles to end than “pregnant” or “not-pregnant” - and miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, and failed IVF attempts are all still really valuable information to be able to record. I hopeful that they’ll consider add those options in.
Age issues 4/5
The app says 12+ I’m 12 and started my period at 11 and I was born 2007 and it wouldn’t let me it would only let me do 2005 and under which is weird and they should fix that.
