Great App! 5/5
Better than SpotHero - love how easy it is to use. I’ve come to depend on it.
Could not recognize a major address in Chicago. Or anything near it.
Other parking spot apps picked it up right away.
Nothing But a Headache!! 1/5
By Alanis's mom
My hotel was 9 miles away from my venue. I had heard parking was scarce, so I thought I would be proactive and try this app to get parking in advance. I picked the closest available lot. Once I got downtown, I passed 5 parking garages that were much closer to my venue, and still accepting cars. When I got to the lot I paid for, there were ZERO spots available. I couldn’t even squeeze in somewhere. I looked everywhere for an attendant, there was none. I looked on the app trying to figure out what to do. Found a number to call. Was on hold over 10 minutes, no answer. I sat in the lot another 10 minutes, and finally one car left, so I took his spot. 25 minutes wasted, made me late for my event. I looked on the app again and saw a number to text. Eventually someone got back with me, and they didn’t really want to do anything for me since I “eventually” got a spot. They ended up crediting me $5 to use “next time”. So frustrating that experience was... but, it gets even better! When I returned to my vehicle after the event, I had a $55 parking ticket on it for failure to pay!! WTH?!!
I tried calling again, no answer. I had to spend the next day tracking down phone numbers to the management company that owns the lot to try and get this cleared up. It was Sunday though, so I was not able to reach anyone that day. I also eventually heard back from Park Whiz, who needed me to send them proof that I paid (duh, it’s in their app), and the parking ticket. Within a couple days I heard back from the lot management company, they cleared my ticket. It took Park Whiz a couple weeks to get back to me, to let me know it had been cleared.
Moral of the story, unless you want a HUGE headache and a bunch of your time wasted, I do NOT recommend this company.
Great resolution! 5/5
We used the app to book at a lot near the Straz Center for the Performing Arts in Tampa- the north teco lot. When we got there the attendant was rude to us about our reservation and then told us to just park. As soon as we left he wrote us a ticket for 40 dollars! I immediately called Park Whiz customer service and they assured me that they would take care of the situation. The ticket was dismissed and I didn’t have to deal with the lot at all. Everyone we spoke to about the matter was very helpful and supportive. I probably won’t use that particular lot again, but I will definitely use Park Whiz again!
Overpaid and still got a ticket 2/5
Paid 10 dollars more using the app then what the kiosk at the lot was charging. I parked exactly where I was supposed to from where I paid on the app. Went in to see show in Tampa, 2 hours later there is a 50 dollar ticket on my car from some private 717 parking company saying I owe them. So now I’m 80 dollars in the whole. Well....zero actually bc I’m calling iTunes and my credit card company to dispute the 30 dollar charge from this app and of course I’m never paying that 50 dollar private company scam either. Shame was trying to do right thing and get taken advantage of by this app. Stay far away from this app and any 717 parking run lot. Just pay at lot using kiosk. Would be easier and cheaper.
Update: raised the review by one star due to the fact the app contacted me after review. They reached out to the third party company who issued the citation and had it voided. Also refunded 10 dollars of what I paid for the inconvenience. The app needs a better way to rate these lots. I see the lot has a very poor rating but I myself see no way of rating them. If they allowed costumers to post ratings and comments for specific lots then maybe people could avoid the lots the are scamming customers.
Keeping money despite coronavirus 1/5
It all worked fine, but when the city shut down due to coronavirus, we left two days early. They won’t refund any money despite a national crisis.
Completely bad service 1/5
Booked 3 day reservation at event in Boston— reservation never said anything about restrictions of being able to come and go each day of reservation. Arrived first night of reservation to find code didn’t work and had to pay lot directly to exit; code worked on 2nd day but not on 3rd— again having to pay again for use of lot. Customer service asked for proof of all payments— when provided all requested receipts was told that lot doesn’t allow multiple entry/exits from lot, and told to read the lot “amenities” for details. Little hard to read something that isn’t stated on the app! Complete rip off and this service should be shut down for failing to provide services that were paid for.
Great but too bright 4/5
I’ve used this a few times when going to visit my daughter in nyc. I always get a good deal for the garage by her dorm. One thing though, once you click to book the brightness goes all the way up. It’s jarring and to bright. No need to blind me with deals!

Trash trash trash 1/5
Trash company. Show up 1 min early pay double! Need me to send them my bank records to see if they might fix it... Plenty of alternatives use them.
SO EASY TO USE 5/5
I like booking my parking in advance. It’s so easy!
Zero Stars, wouldn’t pay for the ticket! 1/5
I used the app for the first time, went EXACTLY where the app said to go. Followed directions exactly. Come out of the event, low and behold a $81 parking ticket. I called ParkWhiz, opened a case, they claim sorry, you parked in the wrong place. Which I DID NOT since the app guided me right to the correct place! So now I am out $81 for the ticket and $25 for the ParkWhiz pass. Waste of time and a useless app, good idea, terrible execution.
Hate it 1/5
Never recognizes addresses in the middle of Manhattan, doesn't even go to addresses manually. Absolute trash.
I love this app! 5/5
I love love love this app!!
Worst support line experience I’ve ever had 1/5
App works great, but I was wrongfully issued a ticket and communicating with their support team has been impossible. 2 weeks of an open case with no progress and I am now forced to pay the ticket
Barcode didn’t work. 3/5
I asked for a refund, and they gave me credit. I think it was a problem with the garage and not the barcode.
No refunds 1/5
Booked a parking pass, arrived at the site and the lot was full. Tried to process a refund and was told that passes can only be canceled up to the minute they start.
My experience in Boston was horrible. You need to warn users “DO NOT ARRIVE ONE SECOND PRIOR TO RESERVED START TIME”... I will not use this app ever again.
Over time 2/5
Our dinner ran late due to the restaurant being crowded. My sister used Spot Hero & they’re app lets you know it’s near your time to exit the garage & do you need more time for a nominal $4 fee. Great feature. Park Whiz does not offer this & upon our exit we paid more to exit ($17) than we did for original parking @$12. How disappointing. I’ll use spot hero going forward.
Best Parking App 5/5
I am happy with this app to find and reserve parking on y terms. It is a time saver and less stressful.
Love this app. Simple to use and very effective for finding cheapest rates in this high parking rate city.

Pulled into park whiz area and no one was there. Had to get out and move red cone myself. Not what I expect when paying for parking. Today’s experience was a 4th rate experience. Disappointing!

Confusing and horrible Customer Service 1/5
By PHILLIP Y. CHOI 31
I’m generally an optimistic and easy going person. But I feel compelled to share my disastrous experience with ParkWhiz and the horrible service.
I attended a concert to see one of my childhood friends perform at The Tabernacle (Atlanta). I purchased a parking pass and followed the instructions, leaving the pass visible on my dashboard. The thing is, there’s 4 parking lots all next to one another and the instructions available on the printout give little information (“look for a y’all maroon plaque with white AAA sign”.) Theres no lights anywhere and it’s pitch dark outside. Moreover, there were no white signs. There were plenty “AAA parking signs” but all different colors. Lastly, some of the signs were on the ground, perhaps knocked down or something. I had to make my best judgement after asking others around, all who were just as confused as I was. The instructions I followed were “parking is by the brown building”.... When I came back to my car, my vehicle was booted. $75 wasted ...
As an Army Officer, one of the basic skill sets we have is map reading. Unfortunately, the vague parking directions, outdated information, poor picture quality, and confusing notes did nothing for me.
I will NEVER use this app again and will encourage others to use the more reliable Park Mobile in the future!
Good app but poor service 3/5
The app is good but unfortunately scanners at many hours laced can not scan the code which makes the whole process very difficult.
NO CUSTOMER SERVICE 1/5
Horrible customer service, they deliberately do not provide any phone number to contact them in the event of a problem. You have to submit a ticket via email then wait for a response. They are also misleading about their additional charges, the rate advertised for a parking space was increased when I booked it without any detail of what the additional charge was, I can only assume it’s their fee which again, I can’t even get in touch with them to explain. When I called the garage they insisted it was a fee park whiz adds and park whiz completely denies it so they are basically being deceitful and lying. Needless to say, I’ve deleted the app and they can go pound sand.
Twice it said it was 24 hours parking and it wasnt 1/5

I could not use the parking pass since I needed 24 hour parking and they wouldn't refund my money . Wasted of 46$ plus the inconvenience of finding a new spot . double my cost .
Horrible experience 1/5
By trail runner js
I bought and paid for a parking space, downloaded the App and registered my license plate. I parked in the lot. The next day my car had a boot put on. I called the number on the sticker, waited for an hour for the guy to remove the boot. Even though I had a receipt for the parking, proof of my license plate registered on the App and a printout of everything sitting on the dash, I still had to pay a fine of double what I paid for the parking, to get the boot removed. At the end of the day, I paid triple the cost for the parking, and five of us stood around in a parking lot for over an hour, and we end up missing the event we we headed to. Lost the cost of our event as well.
Not happy - horrible experience.
WE NEED TO BE ABLE TO PUT ZERO STARS! 1/5
Went to an event in Brooklyn. Found a lot close by with super reasonable rate and and booked a reservation and paid. Went to lot on the day of the event - arrived early and attendant said that was ok. I did notice that sign had daily parking rate for $2 less than I paid, but overlooked that. I said to the attendant that he must be getting ready for a busy day. He asked why and I explained the sold out event at the Barclays Center. He was unaware, but immediately put up a sign that nearly doubled what I paid for my reservation. After the event, I returned and the attendant (who had said that arriving early was fine for the rate) said I would have to pay as he couldn’t accept the reservation bc we arrived early. But, since I told him about the event (he remembered me) he would only charge $15 - not the price that they had raised it to. He told me to contact Park Whiz and they would refund my money. Ha! Park Whiz has contacted me back and is asking for receipt that I paid the second time. I am not sure if I can find it. I am also being sent many of their FAQ’s - including not being able to be refunded after reservation as well as reservations not being valid if arriving early, etc. Complete scam. Knew it was a scam when I was leaving the lot but there was no way to do anything because a valet lot and wouldn’t be able to get my car. Horrible. Beware when using this APP!
App is ok but 3/5
Need to add integration with Apple Wallet
Never a problem. Very nice staff.

Oversize car 4/5
It would be a good idea if you put oversize vehicle on website surcharge before you make a deal not after, people like when your up front about prices
Easy to use and really reliable! 5/5
Useful for saving on parking 4/5
This app has been very useful for saving parking fees. Very valuable when parking in places like Boston where a single day can cost you $30, and savings can be $10 at a time.
Beware of “start time” as it will default to the past, making the reservation not cancellable
Saves you a lot of 💰 5/5

I love this app. A must if you visit NYC. Enter the address or venue name that you are visiting (and the time and date) and It shows you a map of available parking spaces and the prices; it even tells you how long it will take to get to your destination from each parking space. The difference in prices is unbelievable ($15 to $65)... AND you can cancel anytime before the chosen starting time. 5 stars.
Wouldn’t scan ticket 1/5
No use if you can’t pay for parking with it
Don’t waste your time 1/5
Purchased parking via the app. Got to the lot and parking was advertised cheaper than the app and my parking pass would not scan. It keep saying barcode not found. If a parking attendant wasn’t there to call and let me in I would have had to pay for parking again. First and last time using ParkWhiz.
Best parking app for SF 5/5
Save on parking in SF, use this app.
NYC rip off 1/5
They advertise garages as 24/7 and get you to pre pay. Then you get to the garage and it’s closed and you got to jump through hoops and wait days or more to get your money back. Way to ruin a trip out of state hours from home

Worst Customer Service Ever! 1/5
I was wrongfully towed. Parkwhiz refunded my wrongfully towed fee after 2 months and accomplished literally nothing in regards to obtaining any semblance of responsibility or compensation for damaging my brand new $110k car from the towing company for their despicable interaction. I can’t say enough bad things about these scumbags. Park literally anywhere else and please help these people go out of business so they can get a real job.
Awesome parking pal 5/5

Works flawlessly and finds cheap ad VMs reliable parking spots.
Scam. Horrible service. Do not use 1/5
Without getting to emotional, every time I use this app I get messed up. You think by booking through this app you have a guaranteed reserved spot. Everything and all the wording shows and promotes this feeling. BUT IT IS A LIE. Again today I showed up and the garage turned me away. I did not have the time for this nonsense. This is not the first time this happened to me. The attendant stated he has to turn ppl away dozens of times per day. They did not have a spot for me. They did nothing for me. Disaster service.
