Period Tracker - Eve app reviews

  • It’s pretty good 4/5

    By Lazulum01
It does a good job helping me keep track of my period and my health in general. However, I’m not to fond of the gems. I do enjoy the Fact or Fiction one but I honestly don’t care for the ones about how to orgasm better or how to satisfy a man. I’m not against them being on the app I just wish I could turn them off and not have them show up again.
  • Scam 1/5

    By apru09
I downloaded the app and wanted to explore the premium features and the app stated a “free” 7 day trail. Far from the truth.. I was instantly charged $36. Contacted customer service with no response. Save yourself the headache.
  • Cute but heteronormative and definitely transphobic 2/5

By 🤷🏽‍♀️i said it, sue me
This app is cute and all but if you’re going to make content for people with periods you should probably remember that lots of those people are queer. There is little to no content here about women who have sex with women, a lot of content on what a woman’s body is supposed to look like, and nothing to even nod at the idea that trans folks experience periods. Tip: using the word “partner” doesn’t actually make anything neutral if it is very clear that the assumed audience is always a “girl” (also can we use the word woman more often here?) and the assumed partner is always a guy.
  • Great 5/5

    Awesome app
  • Too much "Clutter" and Self Promo 3/5

    By MasqueradeEvermoore
I used to LOVE Eve because of its quirky interface and awesome community. However, I was gone from the app for a while after finding out I was pregnant. At 7 weeks postpartum, I finally got my period again and was SO excited to come back and log it in the app. Eve is now SO saturated with its self promo and options that it was difficult to find things. I think that creating a heavy app like this is great, however I think that it needs to be user friendly. It almost seems like they bombard you with promo with the hopes you purchase a subscription to get rid of the screaming ads in your face. I also agree with the others that say that the word choice "risk of pregnancy" is inappropriate. I get that the app is tailored to a certain audience, however word choice is very important- especially when dealing with a touchy subject like pregnancy and fertility. Overall, I think Eve would be a lot better for someone with Premium. Definitely not suited for women trying to get oregnant as the developers have mentioned. There is a separate app for that. Try it out, see if you like it. Unfortunately, I think I will be making the decision to switch to something else.
  • Love Love Love It 5/5

    By Strph09181990
Fantastic app and everyone in the community is sweet and respectful! Tracks periods so it’s easy to tell my dr when my last cycle was.
  • Accurate, easy to use, informative 4/5

    By jazzzzzz1234
I’ve been using this app for awhile now. It’s pretty accurate, easy to use, & informative. Plenty to look at if you want to get lost, & interacting (or lurking) with other women is nice. If that’s not your thing, there are anonymous quizzes & polls that are cool. You can also just track & log, and go about you day as well! I’ve always liked how you can log your daily health! But they’ve changed them recently. I can’t see all my previous health logs at once anymore, you can only view each individual cycle’s logs. & finding the logs was nearly impossible (you have to click charts, & then the trends tab). Please put it back on the health log page & add a view option😭it was so much easier to find & see everything at once while scrolling before, rather than clicking each cycle’s logs. Or adding the health logs into the calendar view would be cool to see visually (I like to keep track of when I’m sexually active). Also, it is kind of annoying how a lot requires an upgrade now. Other than that, it’s great!
  • Idk 4/5

    By itzdynamite
This is my favorite tracking app so far but my problem about it is I don’t see why you need to get a subscription to track your period. All the other apps I’ve tried made me get a subscription to even look at my log. I don’t know but I do thank you form the great ways of tracking on this app.
  • Used to be good. 1/5

    By Kris114477
The updates have been terrible...switching to something else.
  • Was better back when it was 100% free 2/5

    By ughughstopasking
Signed up for eve a few years back and it was free. This is kinda stupid now that nothing is free. Plus it doesn’t ask what your sexuality is and assumes you’re straight. Overall: meh.
  • Hate the Update 3/5

    By novasaywhat123
It was good until the update
  • Great logs / Bad community / Expensive 2/5

    By AliaCruzzz
It's pretty accurate when it comes to tracking your period but the women on here made me delete my account. I don't understand why you can't click the profiles of those who are "VIP" - can they not be muted? Because they paid? You also can't block anyone either. If there was more options community wise I would've stayed. Also - the premium stuff you see on here you can get for free other places. If it were cheaper i'd pay for it on here.
  • Privacy 5/5

    By Foureverjasmine
From briefly reading over their policy I am thankful they don’t sell information and they take it serious
  • Not Working 1/5

    By LaBonita87
My app is not working. It keeps freezing and it won’t let me do any clicking... fix pls I need to end my flow...

    By idjdisjsbdhd
I just want to thank this app for helping me though out my periods and also for letting me make an account because I just switched phones and didn’t know if my data saved and it did !! THANK YOU, LIFE. SAVER
  • Worst app I’ve ever used 2/5

    By Slimeficenttt
Not every female has a regular female so who are y’all to regulate how close in days someone get their period. And for that I’m deleting this app.
  • Written by teenage boys 2/5

    By Tekgal
This app is apparently written by people who have no idea what women think. The notifications are juvenile and coarse. Maybe this works if you’re in your 20’s. But for real grown women this is just silly.
  • Rating i love jt 5/5

    By bee as in beatrice
I love it!!!! I am very sexually active. But also responsible, i love it that i can right the names of who i sleep with an how they made me feel an when i get my period
  • Missing the old Eve... 2/5

    By nikkimcluvin
I used to love this app. I recommended it to all my lady friends. However, the Eve I knew is gone... the UI (user interface) is completely overrun with advertisements and social media lookalikes, trying to get you to engage and upgrade. So much so that is really takes away from the UX (user experience). I miss the simplicity of the former Eve.
  • Used to be good... 2/5

    By JennaFlo10
I used to use this app all the time, but what started out as a simple period tracker has now turned into basically a social media period app. Ever since the last few updates, there are so many things happening on the screen that I don’t even know where to begin. Weekly video contests, different forums, Glow Gems, I’m just so confused while using this app. The whole app has just turned into an eyesore. The period tracker works just fine, it’s just too much going on for me to handle. I wanted a simple, no frills period tracker that would help me track my cycle. But after a year of using Eve, I’m finally deleting the app. If you want a community of women to talk to online then this is the app for you. But if you just want a period tracker, I would look somewhere else.
  • Added Premium 👎🏻 1/5

    By LadyJaneStrong
Let me start by saying, I don’t think women should be charged for an app that is for our periods and sex health. I also think there way too much going on in the app. I need it simple and straight to the point. Also, b/c it had more non-sense pop ups crap than what I needed, I got the premium. I go to use it and, it’s still asking me to buy the premium. Where’s the premium???? I’d like to even know if it was a scam or worth my money. I’m about to contact Apple and have it deleted all together.
  • Eve 1/5

    By Tacori Robison
i’ve been using this app since august 2019 and it’s january 2020 and it’s still not accurate! wouldn’t recommend
  • Pretty Good 4/5

    By CelinaNuNu
Good app, lots of new things to learn and fun quizzes.
  • Decent app for tracking period cycles 3/5

    By aval26758
I really wanted to like this app because it looks interesting and seems to have fun aspects in the community. I just find it inconvenient to track daily health symptoms or sexual activity, compared to other apps I use, because it’s not in the same calendar format as the period tracking(it’s a separate menu and scrolling time bar) and in a different spot. I also find it difficult to see what symptoms I tracked if I want to view them at a later date. It’s not that I can’t find them it’s just a preference of mine to view them in a calendar view and in the same place as my period data. Not a bad app overall but probably more fun for the inexperienced or younger crowd.
  • Bad 1/5

    By evvankaylie
I think it’s kinda crappy if you want to use the full app you have to pay for it monthly. Only use of when your period starts is free but to see when you ovulate isn’t. Last time I used this app it wasn’t like this
  • I miss the old version 3/5

    By 😃☺️😆😄😊😀😆
The old version was way better I actually knew how to work it. The polls were fun to do, easier to work. I have kept my period flow going on for weeks on accident because I thought I turned it off. please change it back up the old version
  • The paid version isnt worth it 2/5

    By ufstdnchvuby
I wanted to get rid of adds and get more log and forecast stuff. It doesn't feel like there are any less adds. The app has become to crowded. I should have tried the pro before buying the life time but I love a good deal.
  • Replacing this app 1/5

    By Uni70052
Ive used this a lot in the past but at this point its useless. EVERYTHING requires premium, and everywhere you go theres a million ads to purchase it. There are daily quizzes and youre very likely to get inaccurate “correct” answers to those quizzes, like the people writing them are using research from the 50s or just flat out guessing. The community is toxic for the most part, with more and more men joining the app to harass women for nudes. Even if youre just using the app to get data on your period, all youre going to get is when your next period is coming (which is always inaccurate but that could be because mine is very unpredictable) because all other features that they promise require a pretty pricey subscription. Im very happy to be uninstalling this app.
  • Too much upsell 1/5

    By Dr Kilovolt
Too much visual and notification noise – they keep trying to sell me on premium features and articles that I don’t want. All I want is a period tracker.
  • Good- but lost me 3/5

    By KLat1
Eve used to me one of my FAVORITE apps- not only was it body positive and funny, it gave me great insight about my body. But in the last few updates they’re just adding more and more STUFF. It’s just CHAOS now!!! Way too much noise!!
  • Great app, even better customer service 5/5

    By MAF101
After getting a new phone, this app had locked me out and wouldn't let me reset my password. I submitted a service request and it was fixed within 12 hours by Sherry, who was very patient and helpful. So happy to have all my data back and continue using this app. I love the way it’s laid out as well as the positive messages and content.
  • Awesome app 5/5

    By brie fus
This help me keep up with my sexual health.
  • Super Easy to Use 5/5

    By gfdefbu
I have used many apps like this before and this is by far my favorite. It’s user friendly and makes it easy for me to track my period and know when my chances of getting pregnant are high or low. I also love that they track your sex drive, breakouts etc
  • Very informative but not worth it 2/5

    By EmCreed
Okay app. Gives a ton of useful information. I wish more of the gems were available for people who don’t have a premium account. The “chance of pregnancy” is great. I didn’t check my notifications for a a couple days and somehow ended up with 108 notifications all telling me to buy the premium account. After looking into it the premium just doesn’t seem worth it. Unfortunately I can’t even open the app without it popping up the premium account offer several times. I’m not really here for all the added information though. I’m just here to track my cycle and wish the app would stop constantly pushing that I buy the premium. At this point the constant pop ups and “buy premium now” are just too much so I only get on, log only the necessary information, and get off. Which with the premium pop ups, takes about five minutes when it used to only take two and I would stay and read my free gems. Honestly just considering deleting the app at this point because it’s not taking “no thanks” seriously.
  • Not enjoyable anymore 2/5

    By k.fergs
I used to really enjoy this app, but now everything costs. Features I used to be able to enjoy for free are now blocked for free users and the premium cost is too expensive for a period app. It’s ridiculous and I’m considering switching to a different app.
  • All they care about is you going premium 2/5

    By eadnar
I used to love this app. Then update after update there were more things they wanted you to pay for. I feel like I’m constantly being harassed to pay for premium (which is actually pretty expensive for a period tracker app) and you have to pay for literally every feature. $1.99 per gem? Come on now.
  • SCAMMED ME 1/5

    By Toxicthornsperm
It was supposed to be a free trial for that 2.38 a month promo. FREE TRIAL. THEY CHARGED ME $33.99 AND NOW APPLE WONT GIVE ME MY REFUND BACK SAYING ITS NOT A GOOD ENOUGH REASON.
  • cringy language 3/5

    By jsjskskxmjd
the app tries too hard to be “relatable”, uses slang and stuff, which makes it cringy. i wish there was a way to make it more serious. i don’t want my period tracker app to tell me i’m “not getting it” or refer to me as “girl”. it’s creepy and stupid. app works fine otherwise.
  • It’s an awful experience 2/5

    By j_girl
I’ve been using Eve. for a few years now. As a period tracker it is pretty great. However, the last year it’s been looking like mom clicked on all the junk ads and has ever pop-up possible. It’s an overwhelming experience and I feel attacked every time I launch it. If I could pay the premium and customize it down to it basic use the tracker I would. These forums, articles, spin to win, over load of Communities, essential sales have just junked it up. The few things that were valuable like the home feed with fun quirky updates about your cycle and cheeky trivia is lost in the noise and all I want to do is close it as soon as its opened.
  • I paid it came out of my bank and I can’t receive the premium 1/5

    By cokera3
I even wrote on the thing and still no help my bank won’t refund I have to report fraud don’t waste your money or time
  • Great for the most part 4/5

    By suggestedplayerisstupid
Why is there not some option to log pregnancy and birth of a baby? Without this option when I start using the app to track periods again I will have one extremely long cycle that will skew my data.
  • The app have men 1/5

    By Pinkiiy
I love the app until I found out men are on there and I’m not talking about trans just werido and we talk about sex an other thing I’m thinking about deleting the app. I definitely won’t be making post
  • Blah 1/5

    By aachurch
    It’s confusing - complicated - expensive - not what I’m looking for.
  • Good for tracking, drowning in dec notifications 2/5

    By VA20something
The app itself is great for tracking but the notifications & topics are overwhelming. It’s like having a friend who only ever wants to talk about sex and nothing else. I think I just need to have my period in peace for a little while 😂.
  • Eve needs to chill. 1/5

    By Lhimsel
I get stressed opening this app. There’s endless pop ups, notifications, lots of colors community posts and countless upgrade opportunities screaming in my face. I’ve turned off all the notifications, but still I find the experience of this app to just be overwhelming. I open the app to find tons of missed notifications and new upgrades. Joining the community was fun at first, but now the overall app and its features are too much. They need to tone down everything. It’s overstimulating. I just want to check on my period and that’s already stressful enough.
  • Logs 3/5

    By Curly6972
How do I see what I logged on what day?????
  • Used to be good... 1/5

    By LeahLou402
I really used to love this app.. It was great until they rolled out the whole “glow premium”.. the unpaid version is essentially useless now and I am not going to pay $80 for an app. It’s trash, fix it eve.
  • Good for period tracking poor - customization options 2/5

    By Pludy
I’ve had kids. I used Glow for that part of my life, but now I’m just trying to track period and Heath fluctuations. This app concentrates a lot on pregnancy... I should have the option of removing pregnancy as a health concern if I’ve had my tubes tied.
  • Too many ads 1/5

    By rosie5727
I have used eve for about three years, but recently the new updates have added tons of ads. They are inescapable and the ads for premium are excessive. Please remove at least some of the ads. I am deleting the app for this reason. It has become almost unusable because of the locked features.
