    Again for me, another non-functioning update. I have tried on multiple occasions to deposit checks and the system just locks up and the app shuts itself down. Removed, reinstalled, nada. Really really frustrating people.

    Santander is the only mobile banking app I use that restricts checks over $2,500 from being deposited. They lose because I deposit all my large checks to Fidelity.

    I liked this app until it started asking for a one time code every single time I log in. What is the point of Touch ID or pin? It is incredibly annoying and I will be using it sparingly from now on, if not at all.

    I’m a lyft driver who frequently uses the Santander app, but Since the security change I’ve been on the phone with technical support more times than I should have. It’s really a inconvenience when I can’t log on. You guys always “fix” the problem but I promise a few weeks later and I’ll have to call again because for the 10th time I need the opt passcode. Then when I ask why is this always happening customer service doesn’t know. Then they say hopefully this is the last time or I shouldn’t need to call again. But right now as I’m writing this review I can’t log onto the app because it prompting me to call customer service and I’m sick of this! It’s after hours so I can’t call until business. So now I have to use a regular atm machine just to check my balance and I’ll probably get charged. This has literally happened to me at least 8times! I’m ready to leave Santander because since summer of 2018 this has been my problem.

    Fix this! it takes me forever to get a check to submit. This has been an ongoing issue for months. Thank god I only have to deposit an occasional check. I have tried different devices and uninstalled and reinstalled app. I called customer service and they seem to act like I am the only one having issues. Read these reviews Santander.

    Not being able to get a replacement card more quickly (walk in) like TD Bank is frustrating. Also recently attempted to report daughter’s lost debit card as a joint account I have access to I was blindsided when online Card Services caused me to block my debit card & main source of financial access, on New Year’s Eve with NO ability to have Lead Mgt unblock it with major proof of who I was with card in hand needing to wait at least 2 days at $30 or 8 days free on a major holiday ALL due to online features being limited in not only not indicating which account or card was being check as lost until after confirm & also should add a safety feature option asking person to confirm account they are about to block is correct! Either of two steps would have prevented this unfortunate incident. I was thankful to the manager I spoke to who made suggestions how to deal with financial bind this put me in & waving the $30 2nd day delivery fee. This also happening on 1st of month caused me to miss receiving renters payment & having to reset card info & inconvenienced my renters as well. This could all have been easily prevented with Santander making minor improvements to be where competitor banks are. If making a change in banks did not involve so many changes, I would have moved over the incident & May still at some point in near future if more innovative changes aren’t made for convenient banking. Thank you for this opportunity to give feedback.

    I am disappointed that the app doesn't have an option for face id to login. Also that it is difficult to navigate to obtain some info, such as credit limit. I have to pull a billing statement to view that and then do some math to figure out what my remaining available credit is. One final thought, I am accumulating rewards points, but have absolutely no idea how to use them. Other credit card companies offer you to cash them in and apply towards available credit or to cash them in for gift cards etc.

    No pending pmts. No past payments history. no way to file paid bills. Same paid bills come up after pmt was sent. No way to track anything on it. Terrible. To say the least

    I get the whole jb security issue, but it seems a bit rediculous to prevent a device that has ever been jailbroken in the past from opening the app. I’ve restored and update iOS, deleted and reinstalled the app, and it still crashes on launch. So I guess you have my uuid in a server side database somewhere which seems like more than a bit overkill.

    I was in hospital and paid my credit card 2 times. All that o spoke with took the extra time to straighten out my checking account and credit the extra payment to me

    Basic functionality works OK, but it falls short: 1. Preference to change ordering of accounts in summary screen doesn't apply to credit card accounts. 2. Can't access Cash Back "reward" and apply it as a credit. Have to sign in to a full browser to get the cash-back. 3. Doesn't play nice with iOS multitasking for iPad (Slide Over, Split Screen). Haven't tried bill payment yet, nor checked whether it supports transfers with accounts in other banks. (Don't really care about external transfers because I can initiate them from the other banks' apps.)

    I did everything they said - I opened up a savings account, and for the past year I have been having my small pension check delivered electronically (direct deposit) and I write a few checks a month, but I still get charged five dollars fee and I don’t know why. It just eats away at my money. I guess I’ll be leaving this bank soon. Just got to be a better way to keep your money.

    This bank has been the most BS bank I’ve ever had the misfortune to deal with. From BS promises to taking twice as long as any other bank out there to be able to give you back your money once deposited...... I am a disabled vet who has been decorated 4 times. I’ve seen some pretty bad things in this lifetime but this bank by far is at the top Of my list. Please if your thinking of opening an account, DO NOT!!!! Run for the hills and chose a different bank.
