Nothing seems to be easy with Santander. Zelle doesn’t work and most transaction require additional assistance with customer service.

Negating FaceID and disallowing Strong Password Generation at the same time is how you get easy to guess passwords. Unacceptable in 2021.

The app requires you to change your password periodically, and you can't paste in a new password. Nobody thinks of strong passwords on the spot, so if you have to type then retype one, it's gonna be the same password you always use.
For unknown reasons my password log in frequently fails acknowledging saved one in password vault, then requiring a new one. Password reset page won’t allow copy and paste from password generator. After several missed tries it locked me out. Ridiculous protocol. Now not sure I can use my card over this long weekend.
I want Ash Street in Hollis to stay open.

I love my bank. I really do. But I’ve been annoyed with some things recently. Why is it so hard to change my primary email to get access via Zelle? I called and was informed that it’d take 30 days for verification and that I should go to the branch to change it instantly. I was told it’s to keep from resulting in fraud...... Now. I change my email via the mobile banking and can’t register it via Zelle. My school is on me about registering because they authorize it only three times after the first time. This is blantantly ridiculous and annoying. You should be allowed to switch between emails when need be. It shouldn’t take 24-48 hours or even 30 days.

When it works it’s great. But half the time you tap on the app and nothing happens. Face ID does not log you in and you have to default to entering passwords.

Forcing a landscape orientation is obtuse on the iPad. It’s the only application I’ve ever used that behaves this way. It is particularly annoying when using Face login as you have to bring it back into portrait orientation.

I like my local Sovereign bankers and have been a Santander / Sovereign customer for over 20 years.
This app gets worse every time it is “improved”! E.G. No searchable HELP features.
Look at Chase & Citi apps to see how customer friendly apps are designed.

Love my Santander App.
I can see immediately any deposits that have gone into my account and also check on any withdrawals. I can transfer money from checking to savings - and I’ve been known to do this -when I’ve been standing in a store making a major purchase. I am extremely comfortable with it and frankly hope it never changes! This is one of the reasons why I like doing business with Santander Bank.

The app is fine I just wish I few things were better. Like when I go on the app I should have the option to view a digital card. I should be able to copy and paste my account routing numbers. So that it can be used online and not jumping back and forth between apps to see the number.
Also, transaction notification comes to my phone late sometimes two days after the transaction. When it should happen soon as the account is used this would help people respond faster when unexpected transactions happen.
It’s a lot to ask but maybe a reoccurring bill section to help with budgeting for people. They can see it at a glance and not have to connect their account to a 3rd party app. (Ex. Truebill)

Update: The app does NOT remember password at login !!! Please address this.
Update: Re-entered password manually and logged in. If that’s all it took, why the pop up window wouldn’t say: “please re-enter password”? Instead of being vague and generic with “We could not process your request at this time”, leading me to think the problem is on your end? Later I had to enter password manually again to login even though Face ID appeared to have been working. Obviously this needs to be addressed, as it is not my usual experience with the app. Another ongoing “default“ annoying issue: under Bill Pay-Make A Payment-Unpaid E-Bills section, there are “past due” red marks for accounts I no longer have/use, or accounts that never update , seriously misrepresenting my account standing. You can’t remove/delete/update these account “status reports”, not from the app nor the website. Even though I “deleted” those accounts on the main website, they are still “ permanently ” showing as “past due”. That’s just pure laziness of Santander developers. Do any of your people use the app? Do you Santander read and address these reviews? I’m not impressed!
“We could not process your request at this time. We apologize for the inconvenience.“ I’ve been getting this message for more than 24 hours now. What’s up with that? In app customer help should not be redirecting to a generic Q&A webpage, but have a dedicated in app chat with a customer rep service who responds immediately, just like T-Mobile does. Otherwise a great app. Please fix immediately. It is a great inconvenience as I do most of my banking through the app. Tnx

App works Mondays through Wednesday. Forget about depositing your paycheck on Thursday or Friday. Very disappointed. When you most need it it’s not working.

App is great in general. A recent update though has the face ID on iPhone running twice at login. If the first one passes, the user gets in regardless of the second one passing. So it’s just an annoyance more than something being really broken. This is on iPhone 12 and the latest iOS.
