Useful app 5/5
I have been using this free version of the app for a while. It is very useful app on a day to day basis. The info provided by the app for a particular plant is also very useful.
The only thing I did not like about this app is, every time I open the app it tries to force me change my free version to paid version. Getting out of this screen is very tricky and annoying.
Incredibly helpful 5/5
This is the only app I pay for and it is well-worth it.
Very helpful determining what wild plants I have in my property. Helps with tips and suggestions as well as care guides, etc.
Certainly helpful in determining what is poison ivy and what isn’t. Highly recommended!
Love this App! 5/5
By I lov cheese
This app is fantastic when it helps me identify plants i love to look at and avoid those that are poisonous. Wish we had other similar apps to identify other objects
Almost perfect 5/5
By Dr Hots
Identifies rare plants extremely well. Helped tremendously with diagnosing diseases, pests, and poisonous plants. Indispensable if you have a large garden or property in the country.
Accurate and Fun 5/5
Great information the accuracy is right on. I'm never disappointed. After a year of the free version I got the subscription to try all the added features. My fav is the light meter, wow! just aim and it tells you if you have the right light conditions, once you have that info you good to go on all the other information about the plant. It also IDs plant problems and pests. I've grown to depend on this app!
Works ok 3/5
App works ok on the free version, you have to take the photo a couple of times, but for free you get what you pay for.
I LOVE this app 🪴 5/5
I am a total zero with plants but now I just take a pic and voilà! I’ve got everything I need to know. I love how it keeps up with MY garden because I sometimes forget what my own plants are after awhile and I have a nice photo that I took for an extra layer of id. 👍🏼 I’ve told friends about it.
PictureThis is Spot On! 5/5
I have tried a number of plant ID from photo apps and none were consistent enough to purchase. PictureThis is a game changer. I have used it in my home state of Florida and in England while on a canal boat (vacation?):)
It identified everything I threw at it and supplied a boat load of information about the particular plant or tree identified. Well worth the annual subscription price. I took advantage of the free seven day trial but was “sold“ after two days! Kudos to the team behind this astonishing app!
Good app 4/5
Very good app. Need pruning info to be included.
I understood this was a free app/ subscription, unless you sign up for a premium. Somehow, I was charged and learned when you sign up there is a fee. It’s a nice app, but I wanted to try to free first— so in that regard, be careful when you sign up. also, your subscription automatically renews unless you go into Apple to remove the automatic renewal.
Love this app. Use it everywhere 5/5

This app is great. Use it at home, on vacations. Everyone loves it. No more guessing
amazing!! very useful. 5/5
I’ve used this app so many times. It’s very accurate and is very helpful for identifying/treating sick plants. It gives very detailed instructions on specific variation of plants care and other very helpful tips!! 10/10 recommend if you are a plant parent.
Amazing Application 5/5
I just took a job as a floral manager and this application has helped me so many times and provided correct information in terms of care and watering. I love it!
Best plant identification 5/5
This has properly identified everything I’ve took pictures of and is very fast. Very helpful in how to care for them also.
The best app I’ve ever used 5/5
I’ve never written a review on an app, because I’ve never been so impressed with one before. This app lets you scan the crappiest picture of a weed in the sidewalk and will instantly tell you the scientific name, the cultural significance, the uses and the toxicities, any poetry that might exist about it, and so forth. Too much to list, and all for free. The only ads are only to buy the membership, but I’ve been using it professionally for over a year without having to, 10/10 very impressed.
one of the best apps ive ever used in general 5/5
it blows my mind that this app is free. it’s so well-made and easy to use and its UI is fantastic. i would be happy to pay money for this app, but i don’t even have to. its unreal
Very good but needs more cultivar level power 4/5
Can’t identify cultivars and you can’t search for plants at that level which is annoying (eg limelight hydrangea vs little lime). Very much hoping that ability is coming
Misleading pay structure 3/5
So I've heard great things about the app itself, and I'm sure it's fine as far as that goes. But the way the description on the app store is written it sounds like there's a free version and paid version (the section beginning "about picture this premium" sounds as though it's referring to something different from the preceding paragraphs. Once you download the app, then and only then do you discover there's no free version (a 7 day trial you must enter payment info to access) and it's $30 a year! This info should be in the first paragraph of the description, yet it's nowhere to be found.
Tells me what plants are poisonous 5/5
By arielle clark
Really helpful on walks on what plants you can or can’t eat; it can also tell you everything you need to know about the plant and how to care for it.
Super helpful and you can access the majority of the information for free.
picture this 5/5
really enjoy using this ap.
Very satisfied 5/5
Had a version of this (or similar) some few years ago. This is so much faster!

I love being able to name my plants and care for them accordingly while knowing better what to expect.
By Love my trees
I absolutely love this app! I use it almost every day, while I’m out walking.
Just wants your money 1/5
This app has a terrible interface and asks you to upgrade to their paid “premium” version at every turn with very little value in the base app
Bad apps 1/5
I don’t like paying apps🤬🤬
Petal pushers 5/5
Helps support nature 4/5
By serving nature
Definitely useful! I am trying to shift toward far fewer chemicals in my lawn, pasture, and small forested area, and plant identification is seriously important since I previously knew only a few of the plants on our property.
Money grab - beware 2/5
Deleted immediately because they constantly pop up the premium trial and it’s difficult to not buy it - tricky app trying to trap users into buying every few seconds. No thanks. Disservice to the plant world.
Plant life saver 5/5
Thought I’d leave a review cause this app has saved my plants!
I have really enjoyed this app and used it quite a bit last year, so when it came time to renew my subscription I renewed without hesitation. I went a few months without using it and had limited storage on my iPhone, so I upgraded yesterday. I see it in my Apple ID subscriptions, and when I look for this app in the App Store it shows I am subscribed. My subscription doesn’t expire until March 2023. I had to re-install the app to my new phone, and despite my subscription still being active I am prompted to purchase a new subscription when I open the app. I have looked for a way to contact Glority Global Group Ltd. and can’t seem to find anything concrete. I am happy to change my rating when this issue gets resolved, and prompt resolution will yield a higher rating.
Update: It took several days, but I did receive response with guidance on how to restore my membership. It was not until then that I noticed the greyed out RESTORE option in the top left corner of the that was pushing to sell me on an annual subscription. The app is useful. The RESTORE option needs to be more visible, otherwise users might feel as though you are tricking them into taking more of their money. Not cool.

The good, the bad, the ugly. Beauties to weed - it is so informative for gardeners and outdoors people!
Amazing app!!! 5/5
By queen loren
A must for nature lovers!!! Very accurate!
Works great! 4/5
This app is great! It helps me keep track of when to water my plants so that I don’t overwater or underwater them and the fertilizer tracker is really nice too! The plant info and diary are great too because I can learn about all my plants, keep track of new leaves, and see how much it’s grown since I got it. The only reason I’m not rating it 5 stars is because I do have some rare plants and the app doesn’t have those in the catalog, so it is a drawback for me. It does have the option to request plants to be added, so hopefully they’ll be added soon!
Cancel my subscription, not at all what I thought it would be. Thank you
NOT FREE 1/5
Free trial doesn’t mean free to use. Shame.
LOVE IT 5/5
I love this app! The info cards you get with each plant is super cool. Could you add a ‘toxic to animals’ category on your app? I have lots of animals and plants and would prefer not to take pictures of every plant I have to determine it’s toxicity. Love the app
The best app out there. 5/5
My 70 year old dad is the one who told me about this app. In fact, I think he tells everybody about this app.
Are used to very similar apps to identify nature around me. One of them is this one that is Picture This and the other is a inaturalist seek.
Both apps work very similar but picture of this you take a picture and it analyzes it and tells you what you took a picture of and I naturalist seek you can do that or you can do a live picture where it analyzes. Picture this is almost always right with its identification and it comes back immediately. inaturalist seek has a lot of issues getting a final identification on about anything I sent to it. I often do the naturalist seek challenges and I have to go to picture this to identify what I’m looking at so I can tell I naturalist seek what it is because it can’t identify it.
Picture this does have a yearly subscription fee, but it is worth every single penny. I use picture this to identify trees, weeds, flowers, and insects, and more. Picture this is invaluable in the spring when plants are coming up and I can’t tell if they are weeds or plants that I’ve planted. Also picture this has information that will tell you if the plant is native or introduced, which I appreciate.
Inaturalist is free and has a lot of issues with identification and this app, Picture This, is a paid subscription, and I would highly recommend paying the subscription because it always has an answer and I’ve learned so much from using this app.
I hate to compare both apps, but I’ve use both inaturalist seek and Picture This a lot and Picture This is hands-down, the winner.
Misleading labeling for in app purchase. 1/5
By BNL Fan 2
Downloaded only to find to use at all you had to accept a free trial that converted to an expensive subscription unless canceled. How would I even know if I was interested in the app without being able to see even limited functions?
Great for using plants 5/5
By Jody Wink
Love it very helpful
Very helpful app 5/5
I love this app. I use it all of the time! when I see flowers I like, I just take a picture and add it to my garden. At the dog park I have used this app to warn others of poison ivy and other bad weeds.
Now I am using it to correctly identify plants before I give seeds to others.
Thank you for making life so much easier!!!
Disease identification 2/5
Did not identify problem with plant. App only sad it needs care.
Noooooooootktjh he every
This is not a free app! 1/5
A seven day free trial is NOT a free app. I will not pay $30.00 for an app.
Picture this 1/5
This would be a great app but when it says you can cancel before the 7 day trial ends, buyer beware! It is hidden somewhere…
