    No matter what I do it just doesn’t work. I uninstall it and reinstall and nothing. A continuous stream of error messages. Complete trash. Fix this. With all the money Sony has they can’t fix a garbage app? Pathetic&greedy!

    I can’t watch my movies on my tv any more because my ps4 pro was my girlfriend’s Christmas present and not only does this not cast from iPhone it doesn’t exist on the ps5 library

    With PlayStation not supporting the ability to buy movies on the PlayStation Store on the PS5, there needs to be some way to purchase movies stills. I don’t want to have to keep my PS4 still hooked up just for buying movies. The app it self is just “fine” and works as one would assume. However , I t’s just missing the ability to buy and instead has “How do I get this?” on everything you click on. Let’s us give you money for the movies you have been filling up the PSN with for years, without having to hang on to the previous generation hardware. The PS App received an amazing update, just which the same love could be put into this app. 5 stars for sure if it wasn’t missing the ability to buy.

    App used to be 5 stars for me!!! I’ve had this app for quite some time with very few problems in the past, however, it no longer works as intended. I have purchased many movies and tv shows that I am not allowed access to watch or download due to “too many devices being connected”, with the maximum number being 7, but the only devices connected are the PS and my phone. Any and every attempt to contact Sony is met with an incompetent bot with no options which are relevant to my issue, no real customer support and absolutely no satisfaction. At this point I would recommend that everyone not buy any digital media with the intention of using this app.

    Last week I gave this app a bad review because it stopped working properly on my iPad, which I associated the probable cause being the latest Apple update. Today I’m here to say that the powers that be have repaired the app and it is functioning properly. Thank you.

    It just flat out doesn’t work. I can’t get my videos to play no matter how good my internet is. It just stays on the loading screen. I’m trying to download now and it’s incredibly slow. I know it’s not my internet cause I download Netflix and Hulu all the time.

    After the recent update to the app, I haven’t been able to cast to my Chromcast. The back button and the home button are jumbled up together on the top of my device so I can’t exit the video discretion screen without closing the app. The app worked a lot better before the recent update. As of right now I cannot in recommend this app until the issue is fixed.

    Plays back ok, but if I click on the subtitles link, once it brings me to the options menu, there is literally NO WAY BACK TO WATCHING THE MOVIE. I have to close the app, restart it, and of course, the selection I made didn’t stick, which essentially means I cannot watch it with subtitles. Their support link runs you in circles and never gives a number to call.

    Don’t waste your time. Go to Apple. The app wasn’t working for several weeks and the customer service advice was to be patient and just wait. Now that the app is “fixed” it won’t play in full screen on my iPad. Sony will never get any more $ out of me.

    The latest update thankfully fixed playback issues that have been occurring for MONTHS. Now I can finally watch my purchased shows and movies. Overall the app is nice, you can watch TV shows and movies you’ve purchased from the PlayStation Store to your mobile device however since the PlayStation store has been updated you can only purchase shows and movies via the PlayStation Video app and on PS4 only since they got rid of that option on desktop. This makes it slightly inconvenient for users who prefer to shop on a computer and not a console or mobile device but they’re still able to purchase new shows and movies to watch. However my biggest gripe is that the app didn’t receive a user interface overhaul like the PlayStation App and the PS Remote Play app did. A overhaul would’ve been nice and fit more into the aesthetic Sony is going for with the PlayStation 5. It’s not enough to make me not want to use this app or give it a low rating, however it is very disappointing that this didn’t happen as the design language for this app hasn’t aged well at all. All in all it works fine it’s a perfect streaming app for your mobile device and everything you can think of feature-wise for a streaming app to have this app has it. Minus picture-in-picture support but it’s not a big deal to not have this feature. Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

    For at least a month now this app does not work. You can start it, see your library, but can’t stream anything. You can download what’s from your library, but that will not play either. You will have no access to do anything other than to just see what’s in your library.

    Hey there, this app is great for watching the movies and shows I’ve purchased on the PS Store, but this app is also extremely buggy. It feels outdated just like the “My Movies” part of the PS4. Please update this and fix the many, many issues it has. Thank you for the app!

    First off this app may work for you. Who know maybe you’ll get lucky and won’t have do to deal with this but no that’s it’s 50/50 on the app service working on their are much better streaming services out there with better prices for movies and less playback issues. Youtube, movies anywhere, GooglePlay, Netflix, Amazon Prime etc. All I know Whenever I attempt this app. Every month or so there is a new maintenance issue, that customer service will kindly and politely tell you is being rectified... but there’s always a new issue. Currently my videos are unavailable. None of them are playing. I’ve been told to wait patiently so I will. It’s been about a month and they are still working on it. But honestly I should’ve have just used a different service... Youtube even. I’ve spent over $500 on movies that half the time wont play. So it’s really up to you. If I were you I’d keep walking but hey it’s your choice. This is what I see: Playback issues keep getting this message “unable to play your video” app is very glitchy slow touch screen response to movie selection and search bar. Odd Search bar movie displays. app is so laggy. Glitches, Crashes, takes forever. Customer service is also not responsible for these issues neither is technical support. There no department that you can actually reach to share your issues with only long mindless forums and blogs. So if you like Buffering App crashing Playback issues Loading issues Slow responsive interfaces Glitches Sound but no pictures Picture but no sound Sound ten seconds ahead of Picture And this happening every single month or hey maybe only every two months... This is the app for you! :D
