Very useful 5/5
This app is not about post-it and reminders.
This app is about s full project management, and task management.
Super useful, try it and then you will surely post it.
Most useful app on my phone 5/5
Very accessible, well designed, surprisingly versatile.
I’m kind of obsessed... 5/5
I thought this app would be kind of useless... but it’s been kind of life-changing. I have a color-coded board of 250+ post-its I’m using to organize everything my team is doing at work. I have calendars and lists and reminders, but especially for nebulous ideas, conversation-planning, brain-storming, long-term ideas that I can’t just check off on a list... I love being able to see everything visually (even if it’s kind of giving me heartburn to see 250+ things I have to do). I can even share with my team when I want to.
The app is great for note-taking, too. I can organize notes on different research topics or ideas according to subject matter, so I can synthesize from different sources without flipping through a thousand pages in a notebook. The best part is having everything in my phone. Nothing to lose, nothing to flip through, nothing to carry around.
There are plenty of color options, but I would love a few more. And I’d like an option to just duplicate a post-it. Sometimes I just need the same idea in more than one place! Or even an option to move a group of post-its to its own board when an idea gets bigger than you thought.
One of the best apps ever!!!!!! 5/5
By Bronx Juan
This is one of the best apps I have ever gotten!
You can create boards in one device then share to another and open via app. It’s amazing. The quality, choice of tools and colors, limitless possibilities and creativity.
This app is perfection. Thanks 3M!!!
Works surprisingly well! 5/5
I figured out that I can take a photo of (in additional to genuine Post-Its) other small paper notes (keep in mind though everything gets “squared off”). Although app states it’s not a note, I can retrieve the picture from the holding area to the right and crop it. Then, post to my Board(s). Then, it’s simple to arrange and organize notes. Of course, you can also create notes (handwritten and typed) within the app, and choose various colors. Multiple types of backup and sharing are available, as well. Give it a chance, even though you don’t normally write on actual Post-It Note brand stickies.
This app is great 5/5
This app is great
Can we have iCloud or someway to sync with iPhone and iPad ?
Needs syncing 3/5
It is fine but it needs to sync with other devices and the Mac.
Good start 4/5
Good start but to really be useful in context of flow charting and process improvement projects, it would be great to be able write on board, draw connections, etc. it would be great to be able to capture those too from the camera/picture.
Needs to be fully integrated 4/5
Really love this app! Works well with the Apple pencil and is very intuitive. I do wish there was an option for this to be fully integrated, though.
I primarily use this on my iPad, but can’t tell you how many times I’ve been on the go with only my phone—and unable to create a note that will be on the same user account.
Awesome start! Potential for more 4/5
Possible cloud sync?
Need Cloud Sync 3/5
Great for quickly jotting down thoughts or ideas. But cloud sync would make this even better.
Needs more functionality 3/5
This is app has such great potential. It’s very easy to use. I only wish there was more thought put into some very basic aspects of ux, such as:
Locking boards in place
Selecting multiple notes to change, colors, rotation, erase (after you’ve retyped a note)
Rearranging based upon layout — vertical, left-to-right, or none
Bigger eraser brush head
Aspect ratios — I have to pinch and zoom so much to see my notes then out again to see the board, maybe add a small board on the side to show an approximation of the users location on the board.
Better export translation — vertical boards should be transferred to excel the same way they appear on the board.
The addition of these basic features and functionality would greatly improve this app. I hope to see these in the near future. Until then, it will just take me longer to document and organize my ideas before importing into post it.
The best...so far 5/5
Post-It is, so far, the most thoughtful and use of the post-it note for iOS. It’s smooth, easy to use, and requires very little learning curve.
Of course, the big problem is between iOS and MacOS. Ideally, it would be perfect if these notes could be instantly transferred between iOS and MacOS - the same way that you do with other apps, using the Cloud. The note drafted in, say, iOS would instantly transferred to MacOS.
Please create a desktop mac companion app 5/5
Great App love it the only thing that would make it better is a desktop app for Mac and syncing between this app, Post-it plus app on the iPad and a mac app.
Meh for in–app note creation 3/5
This review is only about in–app notes.
Good: in app note creation, Apple Pencil support
Bad: Only yellow notes, boards can’t be colored, one pen size, limited pen colors, notes are fixed size
Note creation is clunky. Every time you create a new note, you have to select whether it’s a photo or manual note. Why not just have 2 buttons, or allow the user to select a default?
Summary: It’s rudimentary. I get that they’re in the paper business biz. It’s got potential but probably won’t get much attention.

I love the the export to Word, Excel, and other apps feature!
By Please this issue!
I love this app! I’m always writing down notes, when I can’t just pull out my planner i use this! It’s a life saver!!
Really cool! 4/5
By Spencer E Holtaway
What a great concept and execution!
One feature request for iPad Pro users: the ability to turn off pen input unless I’m using the Apple Pencil
Needs to be more user friendly 1/5
This app needs a tutorial and needs an option to clear the cards. Good job on making this however.
Great app, needs cloud support 4/5
Great app, however, it offers no iCloud back up options. Therefore I gave 4 stars
iPhone X 4/5
Good to see this little app getting updates. Support for iPhone X would be great.
This app stinks 1/5
By Jerry the Scary
Love it but I wish I had... 5/5
The ability to change the font and font color when typing out each post it. I have looked and do not see this option anywhere, but I love the app anyways.
Why no palm resistance? 3/5
It’s incredibly inconvenient to use Pencil without palm resistance.
Apple Pencil Support is Weak 3/5
The part of the app where you actually write a blank note has really bad support for the Apple Pencil on a iPad Pro. There’s no palm rejection, writing with the Pencil itself actually registers worse than writing with your finger, and is really laggy.
Middle of screen dead 3/5
After updating to IOS 11, the middle of the screen has dead spots on this app where I cannot write. Loved this app before that.
Love this App 5/5
Snap a pic “capture” an actual Post-it, note, business card, phone number, etc. and save as a virtual Post-it to use as reminders, shopping lists, info, etc. Group notes on “Boards”, change Post-it colors, use virtual markers to write notes, in addition to even typing notes. My favorite feature is being able to instantly share with AirDrop to my other devices so I have same info no matter which device I’m using. This is my favorite app to put my To-Do’s, ideas, notes, and info. Having moved to a new area, I’m given business cards and notes daily. This has been a great way to keep the info without having to keep the cards and papers. Highly recommended if you receive or have a lot of notes and ideas.
Multi-device cloud sync would make this perfect 4/5
Some sort of cloud-syncing would make this absolutely perfect. Yes, you can share it to your other device (iPad to iPhone and vice-versa) via air drop (and then you have to delete the old version on the other device) but real-time cloud sync would be a huge advantage to this wonderful app, and I hope its on the list of future updates!
Please please!! 3/5
Please bring the ability to resize the widget post-it note. I’d like to be able to have one large sized post-it instead of the many smaller ones. Other than this, the app is fantastic.
DATA LOSS: Doesn’t backup AT ALL. 1/5
Lost ~50 notes because nothing is backed up, thus nothing can be restored should you reinstall iOS, change devices, etc.
Doesn’t fully support Apple Pencil 1/5
By Pranav Korrapati
As long as I type onto the notes, this app is amazing. While using the Apple Pencil, however, if you try to write in the central area of a blank note (where the typed content usually goes) it doesn’t identify pencil strokes correctly.
Notes disappear 3/5
I love using this app with my students, however boards that have airdropped to me disappear. Please fix! Otherwise, this is an awesome app!!
This app is amazing 5/5
This app makes capturing and organizing notes from group ideation and debrief sessions. It's super easy to use and very convenient.
Post-it is great and useful, I really like it. It would be cool if you can zoom in or out with two fingers while editing a single note.
Adding photos 4/5
By Ms. T Aragon
This has been great and keeps my thoughts clearly organized. I love that we can color code, create groups and most of all snap a picture of Paper Post It notes. One suggestion would be to add a feature where we can upload photos from our photo roll to a sticky note. I am a visual person and like to add pictures to my notes.
Great digital interpretation 5/5
Writing notes with the Apple Pencil and putting them on posted notes is so natural. Plus you can merge it with real posted it notes.
The negatives about this app are uninspiring typography and no palm rejection for the pencil.
Hooray! Very happy to see version 1.3 5/5
Now just let me capture my rectangular Post-it(R) Notes and I'd love you even more!!
Great app 5/5
I am shocked at how clear the post its came out as pdfs!
Not working.... 1/5
The app needs an update or bug fix. The app will open but immediately crashes. Please look into this.
One of my favorite productivity apps! 5/5
By Hayden Evans
The Post-It Notes app is probably one of my favorite apps. It's really easy to use and seamlessly captures any planning done on a whiteboard into a digital and portable format. I love how many options are available for sharing and exporting boards and I love that you can make edits digitally long after your whiteboard may have been cleared. I use this app a lot during software design and development activities and it works without a hitch! Love this app!
Best Organization Tool 5/5
I love this app! It helps me keep my sticky notes in order.
Everything I dreamed of! 5/5
I always wished for an app like this and can't believe it's real! Essential for anyone who uses post-its for planning and Agile. Only thing it needs is to be on Android!
Post it trash 1/5
By My name is bob katt
Don't buy this trash it's basically a picture that you write on.theres better apps for this that have better thing
By Anh Khoa Kaynor
I don't really know about those bad reviews, personally I think this is one of the best scanner app available. My favorite one is Scannable, but this one still does it job. It allows you to scan multiple notes at ONE TIME. Things that others apps didn't provide. You can easily organize it and even create a note inside. The board function works great too.
I recommend this app to anyone who has so many colored note that should organized
This app its just stupid
Why haven't they updated this!?!! 3/5
By G I hope
I used to really like this app, however with all junk that pops up and not compatible across other platforms. Had to delete.
Apple needs to Tell- all apps on here to Update their Apps!!
Perfect for what it does! 5/5
I believe that those who were disappointed in this app may not have read what it is for.
In my work, we often use post-it notes in meetings, sharing concepts, journey maps, and themes. We find that pen and paper help things go quicker and more creatively than trying to use a digital tool (and I do love my tech!). At the end of the meeting, we usually take pictures of what we did, then transcribe it into another application.
Immediately after downloading this app, I was able to take pictures that I previously took and import them onto a "board" in the app. Almost every note was recognized - those that were not generally were either partially hidden or folded over at some point. However, I could tap on those items, drag the corners to cover the note I selected, and then import the photos to create a board with each post-it note moveable.
I'm extremely happy with this app, especially in getting it for free. My only request would be to enable better export for desktop apps, such as PowerPoint, Keynote, Visio, etc.
ZERO STARS 1/5
don't even mean to be super negative but really. This app is NONSENSE 😐 totally not at all what I thought it would be. Going to delete now thanks
Worse than useless 1/5
By Kellan Shar
Really? I can only take pictures of sticky notes!? 3M isn't even trying with this app...
