Practice Mode needs Improvement, Tempo needs Voice Control 3/5
Practice mode is great.
I need these two improvements below.
1) Multiple Presets
I need multiple user-created presets as different techniques require different bpm ranges.
Finger-style:140-200bpm (8 minutes)
Pinch-Harmonics: 120-155 (5 minutes)
2) Practice mode button not available in iPad landscape mode.
Voice Control of BPM
If it’s easy, accurate, and intuitive. Would be light ahead of tempo tap or rotating the the tempo wheel.
To the developer: Include the above as a paid add-on? I’d be happy to pay for these as additional pro features. Thanks for this app!

It’s really helping me with my drum skills
Worth the upgrade
No subdividing 4/5
I tried to change the subdividing to 8th notes but you can’t do it unless you have the pro version. That’s just cheap please have at least 8 notes otherwise really nice metronome
Best metronome ever 5/5
This is so user friendly. The warm up mode has helped me speed up my arpeggios. The ability to emphasize different beats helps me hit notes at the proper time in difficult pieces.
Great App! Sorta... 3/5
Everything about this app is great! Until you try to switch to an odd time signature or pretty much anything thats not 4/4, I play alot in 12/8 and it will act like the 8th notes are the same length as Quarter notes. Its mildly infuriating... Ive dealt with it but it'd be nice if the developers would fix the issue.
Great Metronome! 5/5
I use this app all the time in my church music ministry. Great tool for keeping the instruments and choir together!
BEST CLICK 5/5
Greatest held ever 5/5
I once got the wrong one but then I saw this one it was amazing it helps with my piano so much.
I don’t 5 Star often. 5/5
This app deserves it because it’s everything a metronome should be! And then some. I love how easy it is to pick your tempo and go. Getting used to the settings is the only thing I found a little confusing, but I persisted and think I got it. I love that it has an Automator practice mode where you can set in a starting tempo and an ending tempo and set a count of bars to repeat and speed up each go around; this makes memorizing music fun for me and being able to get the hard parts of black pages to effortlessly flow from my fingers without having to stop to reset the metronome is wonderful, I can keep up my momentum.
Absolutely worth the working price!
I love how simple the app is to use. My son is 8 and taking drum lessons. He uses my app easily.
Very Good 4/5
By Soccer medal awesomeness
Great metronome app. Has all of the features I could want. Only one problem: I find a couple of the voices/sounds to be a little distracting.
Good, but could be better 4/5
Outstanding app. I wish you unlocked the bonus content though, especially considering I am in the best middle school band in Texas. 🙁
Awesome App! 5/5
By A Stirring Musical, AMAZING.
PERFECT. Thank you so much! :D
Wowowowowow (wow wow wow wow wow wow) 5/5
I play piano and I am a child on my mom’s iPad doing this. I need (sorry I am too shy too tell you)
Volume cuts out! 1/5
By Fukface McGee
Absolutely annoying. Volume cuts out every once in a while and the beat actually freezes up for a split second throwing things off. Defeats the whole purpose of a metronome! Brand new iPhone with no other issues anywhere so I know it’s not my phone.
Great app with great features....But... 2/5
This app gets 2 stars from me because of what it aims to do with subdivisions and such (even though you must pay for them) without those features it would be one star. Why? Because it sells itself as a metronome. Something that keeps time...a rather important thing for all musicians. This metronome is broken and very inconsistent. Bad idea for new drummers that are working on internal time keeping ability. The metronome is as inconsistent, or more, than a brand new drummer that just started playing. I don’t know what causes this problem. The temp change is quite noticeable once you realize and pay attention to it. It drags and rushes while trying to stay where you want it. But I really just don’t even attempt to use it anymore because of this. It would otherwise be amazing and I’ll change the rating when it gets fixed.
Okay but I won’t use it 3/5
All in all it’s a pretty cool app, but as an violinist, the fact that you have to pay to get the subdivide feature is a deal-breaker. There are other apps out there that let you subdivide for free and basically do the same thing. The other features you have to pay to get were pretty cool, but I never would have used them.
Very Good app 5/5
I find this app very useful both as a performer and an educator. Easy to use and it does the job, beautifully.
App is exactly what it says it is. 5/5
By Roy Belmont
This app works brilliantly as a metronome, tones of options to mess with. Its also plenty loud without headphones though if recording or playing drums id say definitely wear some.
Yo, it’s yo gurl Claire-kitty heya an’ I just gunna say ima real sweet franch hoyn. And I use this app once o’ twice uh year an’ ima tell ya, it treats me right. Peace
Pro Version 1/5
$2.99 is a lot of money to be able to use subdivisions. I can’t even use simple quarter notes without being forced to pay for them. Ridiculous!!
Need to work out bugs 1/5
Constantly freezing and crashing. Very disruptive to a practice session!
This app helped me so much on pieces of music and helped me with learning new rudiments. This is a very useful app
So helpful!! 5/5
I started playing guitar 🎸 and I needed a metronome. This app is recommended by everyone! But that would be helpful if it had a search bar and you could type in the metronome speed.
Best Metronome App Out There! 5/5
By Porsche Mom
I love this app! Always handy when practicing my piano.

Just do it it’s worth it
In-app prompts for ratings 1/5
App does not follow iOS setting to not allow in-app rating and review requests.
Great App 5/5
Great app! It was recommended by my guitar teacher and It has been a tremendous help! Highly recommend!
Great free metronome! 4/5
I have used this app for several years and the thing I like most about it is the "Practice Mode" feature.
When practicing scales and technique patterns it is SO useful o be able to set up auto-increasing tempo speeds.
That way instead of having to stop every time I want t increase the tempo of the pattern or scale I'm practicing the Practice Mode allows me to preset the increasing tempos with a breather bar in between each new tempo to count me in to the next level!
I just wish the horizontal orientation button showed the same functionality.
Annoying useless 1/5
I found this app very very annoying. I am a oboe player, and the app would confuse me. I rarely used it, but when i needed help I would get so annoyed I felt like crying. It was also hard to work and often would not let me in.
app has decent sound, but it’s kinda complicated for my 7th grade mind to handle (lol). the only thing that bothers me is that you have to pay to get a 8th note etc. subdivision. i have audition music and no metronome, so it’s a bit hard.
A nice solid metronome with handy features. 5/5
Of course I’ll take the upgrade please to support your work. A dynamite design.
I love the practice sessions that you can set the tempo to increase by the # of measures too.
And even discovered the poly rhythms that came in handy. Try the 4 over 3/4 combination (ala Bill Evans).
Use the tap tempo all the time.
Thanks and love it!
Helping a ton 5/5
By Jon Jon Jinglehiemer
This app has helped me a ton in my strumming and timing. Highly recommended.
Best metronome so far 5/5
I have tried a few metronomes out, but this is the best I’ve found so far. Simple and straight forward but can be more complex if you want it to.
I dnlded this app for the spoken 1234 feature cause to me it’s funny to play to someone counting for you, so for that reason I was happy with it. Only issue is (not saying I’m a machine or anything) but does anyone else feel all the fluctuating tempo? Ive been playing a long time and recorded many things but I feel the tempo moving up n down which caused me to not rely on this for anything more than a smile hearing someone count lol. Is it just me or does anyone else feel or notice this?
This really helps me
Absolutely fantastic 5/5
Honestly i got this app because a friend suggested and i could not be happier with it. It's very flexible in things like time signatures and stressed beats and even has a rage of tones to pick from. 10/10 would recommend
App was good. I enjoyed it. Have a good day
All u could want.
This is perfect for beginners and experts alike
Awesome app 5/5
By Cg green
I use this app for my drumming and it’s awesome totally recommend it to other musicians
One of the best Mets I’ve ever used 5/5
I started using this app back when I was in marching band and have since kept using since becoming a drum tech. The polyrhythmic feature comes in handy a lot when explaining triplet vs 8th note sections. The warm up feature allows for smooth tempo transitions running exercises back to back at different BPM’s. My only complaint is that I have more fun trying to see how absurdly fast absurdly slow I can set the temps then practicing some days
Great app. 5/5
Great app for me.
Best App Ever 5/5
This is the cream of the crop, million great features and EASY to navigate!!!
Snare-drummer’s Review 3/5
I am a snare drum at the Falun Dafa Divine Land Marching Band. We play different music for different parades. And I use this metronome to measure my beats so that I can follow the conductor’s guidance during the parade. So far it works well. And its appearance is very simple and easy to use. Without too many difficulties, you can master it. Thanks!
Hard to understand app 3/5
I can’t understand it it’s just weird and hard to use
Awesome! use it every day! 5/5
